LensCrafters did such an amazing job today! First off, going in with Ms. Alomia for my eye exam was so easy and fast. Then, going in to pick my frames was a breeze, because I’m the type to look at frames online and choose a few styles I like, that way if they have them in store I can have a look at them and decide whether I really like them or they’re just not for me. Also, before even setting foot in the store you’re reassured that all frames have been disinfected and there’s multiple trays to put whatever pairs you’ve touched or tried on so they can disinfect them after each use. During this visit I was helped by the store manager herself and she was nothing but kind and helpful. LensCrafters may be pricier but you’re definitely paying for quality, and I don’t think I’d want to go anywhere else after today.

My job requires that I am in front of my laptop 9+ hours a day and with that, I was suffering from headaches very frequently. I came to Lenscrafters and was met by an extremely friendly manager, Ms. Margaret Franco, who proceeded to educate me on why she believed I was suffering from headaches and that she knew just how to help! I purchased a pair of glasses and the headaches are gone! I am not straining my eyes, nor is the blue light damaging my eyes anymore. I would recommend Lenscrafters in Sunland Park Mall and Ms. Franco, or any of her staff of highly trained professionals, to ANYONE with eyesight issues!!
Great selection of glasses. I tried on many and probably took an hour and a half trying to pick a pair and I didn’t feel rushed at all. Finally when I picked the right one, Danny helped me out and broke down pricing and lens options. I was well informed and was able to make my decision. I thought my glasses would take a bit to be ready but they called me within 30 minutes saying they were ready to be picked up. Thank you

They sanitize all the glasses after they’re touched and acknowledge everyone once they walk through the door. Danny was very nice and helpful. The female employee that was there was also nice and helpful as always. Always receive great service and this trip was no different.Edit: at risk of sounding like a Karen, can you guys update your hours on google, please? Went to pick up my glasses around 7pm and the store closed at 6:30pm. I know there’s a sign posted outside so that’s my fault for not remembering the hours changed, but google still says 8pm.

Went in for my yearly eye exam next door and always go to this LensCrafter to purchase my glasses. Not only is in conveniently close but their service is always great. I have been purchasing my glasses here for years. Danny helped me this last time and provided his opinion on which frames fit my face better. Due to our current pandemic it was very clean and sanitized. I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer. Five stars!

I got treated like I had a deadly disease and got kicked out they’re rude and don’t know how to speak to customers I was there to buy glasses and contacts and get an eye test and they treated me like I’m so contagious and I’m fully vaccinated and had a mask

They are located inside the mall, on Feb-7-2020, went there with family to look for glasses but since I forgot the preescription an attendant there said that they werent allowing people without prescription due to Covid. Sadly, me and my family left, she didnt even let us take a look at the glasses they have on display.

Waited 5 weeks for my trial contacts only to be told upon walking in that they had never been ordered. Wouldnt give me my prescription without this pair present. Blamed COVID but at the sqme time said every other order that day was completed. Save yourself the time and money and go someplace else.

When I went I loved it, I found the right glasses within a few minutes. I had already gone with a different eye doctor and took his prescription to this place. Got my glasses a few days after. I wanted to write this review because one other reviewer says that they are “7x more expensive” than glasses you can get from Walmart or the internet. I just wanted to clarify, if you want quality glasses specific to your eyesight that you like, then go to a place where they make those glasses. Walmart and online glasses can only provide you with a rough estimate of what you need. If you’re going to compare Walmart prices with those professionally made, then compare the quality as well. Don’t expect some top notch glasses if you find them for $5 at Walmart.

So I have to be honest the opthamologist was amazing. Smart and quick with his service. The contacts they are giving away with the eye exam SUCK!! the first pair lasted a week. Than he gave me another pair and a extra one just incaseWell the other one ripped as well. Not even a week of having these contacts and Im over them ripping. They are so fragile and frail, they will rip just by taking it out of your eye. Hate these contacts and material. Will be looking into a new or different brand contacts.
Went on Friday and I was taken care of very efficiently and by a nice staff. Went next door to check out lenses and frames and had the same experience. Everyone was very nice, helpful and very knowledgeable. I definitely will go again and recommend them highly.Paul

This is a shame, my wife had an appointment, and when you have an appointment you assume that the doctor is already there, well he wasn’t. They called him and he didn’t even answer the phone, at least that is what they said. The sad thing is that they don’t appreciate the time of the costumers, I honestly hope the doctor is ok. Hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Walked in with my mom and were greeted by a very nice young lady, she gave us some time to look around. We were almost ready to make a purchase when another of the employees (Desiree) basically ran across the store yelling hey, do you want to pay for the frames you just put in your bag?!. Those frames I threw in my moms bag was a perfume sample that was making me dizzy. Any way, Desiree did not care there were other people in the store and completly humiliated us. She barely apologzied. My mom had to dump out her bag on the counter in front of the other customers. As soon as we walked out I burst into tears and had one of the most horrible anxiety attacks I have ever had in my life, and let me tell you I get a lot of them.
My daughter and I just had a horrifying experience at this location! I had already given my insurance information to a young lady who was helping me out. I was just about done selecting my frames when my daughter told me that the smell from the strip of paper with perfume mist they had given us at Dillards on our way to Lens Crafters was making her dizzy. We looked around and couldn’t spot a trash can, so I told her to throw it in my purse. All of a sudden we hear another young lady yell from across, for everyone to hear, “Hey, do you want to pay for those frames you just put in your purse?” I was so embarrassed and upset, as was my daughter. I told her I would dump everything out and that I would not be purchasing anything from Lens Crafters again. Her name was Desiree, and she barely apologized and said her manager had instructed her to do this. My daughter had an anxiety attack after!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever!!!!!

Its 7x more expensive to do your glasses here than comparable quality on the internet or Walmart. I spent 150 on the frame, and 129 for the lenses for a total of 279 dollars. I did expect premium quality lenses but they werent because they didnt have antiglare, or UV protection, or antidust.I tried to return them at two different stores but one had a different system and the original store did not have cash. Ill be back in my country tomorrow so a mailed corporate check was not an option for me. The staff was polite, thats why I graded two stars instead of only one.Please buy your glasses somewhere else, the frame itself feels like paperclip quality. Dont be fooled by brand names like Ray Ban or the like.
There exists a lack of coordination between the Lenscrafters approved optometrists office (next door) and the Lenscrafters brick and mortar location, and varying degrees of customer service.At the beginning of October 2015 my mother and I both completed an eye exam, and we also visited the neighboring Lenscrafters store to purchase both glasses and sunglasses, as part of a special.I did in fact purchase two pairs of each and paid well over $800.00 for just my sets of prescription lenses/ frames. Other than the fact the employees spent their time arguing with each other if a specific freeway was open, and texting, rather than greeting and assisting us with my purchase, I had a mediocre buying experience.Unfortunately that is only half of the mishap. My mother visited the store four times in effort to resolve the stores incompetent and lackluster approach to fixing the glasses so she would not see double. The first two visits the employees dud again fail to acknowledge our presence, much less offer a seat. The same front-line employees were present during the first three visits. During these initial interactions, the primary individual who was inconsiderate and brusque was a heavyset woman with wavy hair and thick-framed glasses. She crimped into the plastic of the glasses and over-heated the lenses, leaving a damaged mark, resulting in additional refracted light when worn. When this was mentioned, and the fact it was difficult to see properly, as my mother saw double, she and another representative attempted to convince my mother her lenses were surely done properly, and to try them out.My mother did try them out and my disappointment intensified. I immediately reported this to corporate in order to achieve an expedited resolution. Only after an additional two visits, both to redo the eyeglasses prescription and redo the work order for frames/ lenses (due to the original pair being damaged), was everything finally settled. The store manager was polite only because I chewed out corporate and threatened additional measures, as the incident may have put us past the threshold for their buyers guarantee. The store managers name at the time was Bobbi and she not provide over-the-top customer service to make the experience memorable or overcome her employees pathetic qualities. When they recognized our name and remembered our faces, the quality of customer service remained below average. Clearly, either nothing was done to reprimand the employees for their ignorance or they didnt care. Both aspects in context are sad and a blatant disregard or accountability and a solid work ethic. Given the decreased foot traffic over the last few years, you would assume that this location, like many smaller stores, would aim to overachieve customer service expectations.If you want superior craftsmanship or an improved experience, do visit a different Lenscrafters location or an entirely different eyeglasses company. Avoid this spot where everyone seems bored to exist and the leadership is sub-par.
The door has been broken for several weeks, only one employee at the counter (the manager), extremely limited selection, everything must be ordered (nothing is done in-store like they used to claim). Had been going there for 20 years. Never again.
