My phone died and I was hesitant to go to this store because of past experiences. I was able to be helped within five minutes and the person who helped me was super friendly. Wish I could remember his name. He looked at my phone, looked up my account and just like that problem solved. A new phone on the way and my current one was working. Big change from previous visits, would not hesitate to go back and ask for help. Great customer service!

We had a 4pm appointment but got there 20 minutes early. We went in for one phone upgrade. Ryan explained to us the awesome trade in deal they have going on and suggested getting the cracked screen repaired before upgrading. He also explained how to do the upgrade online once the screen is repaired, even though he wouldnt get the commission for it. We was so knowledgeable and friendly that we will return to do the upgrade with him, even though we live in Buffalo, and we will actually upgrade both of our phones because of him. Thanks for the great service, Ryan!

The Employee was very knowledgeable and nice. We brought in a phone that ended up not being compatible, but he tried everything to see if he could make it work. When it didnt work he apologized and asked if he could do anything else for us. We picked out a different phone and he even advised us how to save some money on our purchase! It was a very delightful experience!

Always have had a good experience with this store and tonight was no different. Friendly staff and they were up front with the fact that their stock is low due to the technology/chip shortages. We werent in a hurry to get the phones, so were fine having them shipped to us with an expected delivery in a couple days. Make sure you plan for appropriate time as this store can be very busy.

Verizon has the worst customer service ever not only I cannot upgrade my phone when I try to buy at full price from Best Buy they are still not allowing not worth the premiums you pay wait time is more than one hour only good thing you get signal almost anywhere if you need it just bear all the nonsense they do

I HIGHLY recommend the Elk River store! Before I even entered the door I was greeted but a CSR holding the door and welcoming me in. The representative asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. (An appointment is not needed but I would recommend it as they are doing their best to abide by the current capacity restrictions due to the pandemic.) The CSR took down my information and let me know there were a couple of guests ahead of me. Which to me was no problem, as I was not in a hurry. Staff checked in with me frequently and answered all of my questions while I was waiting. This made the phone buying process smooth when it came to my turn. The representative was very helpful throughout the entire process. The staff was personable, professional, and very friendly. They truly made the process easy & enjoyable. I actually came back a couple of days later and got my step dad a new phone. Still encountered the same experience! Big ups to the employees and management!! You’re Rockstars 😁.

Make an appointment, dont make an appointment...it doesnt matter they cant get to you within an hour either way. I wish I was joking, but I literally gave up on my appointment time after I stood there so long I was in pain. Tried again without an appointment arrived well before 6 (they close at 8) and they turned us away because they wouldnt get to us before closing. Dont bother

PROS: Blake and Tony are great! Bought my first two phones from Blake, he is polite and insightful. Its great to see the same representive there for several years! I bought my latest phone from Tony, he did a great job answering all my tech questions and explaining financial options.CONS: I have been turned away twice in one week by Mike, who treated me like he couldnt do anything for me (his words) and told me I wasnt on the account. A phone call with customer service stated I was. Came back with a male companion the next day and suddenly I had his full attention. I was informed by one of his coworkers that I was, in fact, on the account all along, and got an apology for Mikes behavior.

I called beforehand & Dan actually picked up! When I got there, he was waiting for me & ready to go. I purchased the iPhone 11 Pro Max (512 GB). Clean store, outstanding service, and he cut to the chase with no-nonsense. I appreciate that. Not only was it pain-free, I genuinely had a super great experience. Dont bother going to the Rogers Verizon -- head straight to the Elk River Verizon.

Horrible Customer Service - should be 0 stars!I ordered phones online and was told my parents could pick up the phones if they are managers on the account and if they know the account ID. They are managers and they know the ID. I was also told that I would get a text when the phones were ready.After 2.5 hours I called the store, sat on hold for at least 15 minutes and finally found out the phones were ready. I confirmed with the store staff that my parents would be able to pick up their phones. I asked if they would need anything and was told they need an ID and the Account ID.The staff refused to let them pick up the phones and did not even ask for our Account ID. We have nothing but problems with this store whenever we try to buy a new phone.

The worst customer service I have ever received. We purchased a phone online for our daughter and were sent to this store to pick it up. We were told by Verizon that the people at the store could help us set up the phone and answer any questions we had. Our sales person Justin refused to help us, he told us that they don’t help customers that purchase phones online. He wasn’t the least bit interested in helping us. He was rude and a total jerk. I wonder if his behavior towards us was because we are a gay couple. My wife was wearing a rainbow pride t-shirt, his was so rude to us from the very beginning it seemed strange. The worst part was that we were buying our daughter her very first phone and she was really excited. Justin ruined that for her. We will never go back to this store again.

Customer service is 6 stars, and I would give 5 stars on all other aspects, the only potential negative is some accessory items are a bit spendy vs what can be found by an experienced Google shopper, and that I wouldnt hold against them as there prices are very fair as its all top quality.Easily #1 of the big carriers. Things may seem to cost a little more on the surface but thats because they are honest, quality, no gimmicks, and actually deliver on there service vs other carriers are just trying to sell a person.

I bought a new phone and had to transfer my content over. After getting that done they never activated my phone after tried to three different times. They also did not change our phone plan when we were there the FIRST time. Then my mother went to get her content transferred to my old phone and they switched her number over but said just use the transfer app to transfer her contacts, I was like cool super easy. Obviously not so now we have to go back again for a third time to just get our phones working. To be honest Verizon Customer service sucks and after all of this I am just going to transfer to a different carrier.

Thomas was the man.Had a great experience. Added another phone and purchased tons of stuff -including wireless chargers.Thomas was very knowledgeable and friendly.I was there in the middle of the day on a Monday. So, wait time was null. It did pick up with business and the supervisor inquired about what Thomas was doing. My one complaint -Why? (It was obvious.)Other than that. Great place.

My daughter and I both have a Google pixel 3a thur T-Mobile and wanted a screen saver well T-Mobile only had one so they told us to try Verizon and see if they had a screen saver for our phone. So we drove to the Verizon store and I was feeling bad about going in because we dont even have service thru them but we did anyways...they are the nicest group of guys you will ever meet very helpful and so understanding.they even offered to fix the air bubble I had on my phone from the screen saver I bought from T-Mobile just a few minutes before. Awesome store huge selection of cases and phones. Awesome staff.😃

I bought a phone and accessories online for a family member. When they went to pick up the items they pressured her into getting insurance. Then when it came to switching the phone number I called for help yet the person i spoke with said that i wasnt entitled to help from them because i didnt purchase the items directly from them. Terrible customer service. I strongly recommend you go to another store. Verizon is good, these guys are not.

These people are horribly inept! I had to turn back my phones because Verizon told me to find a new carrier since they dont have good coverage where I live. I have had to make several trips to the store and my account has gone to collections because they screwed things up so bad and my phones were never received at the warehouse.Update 2/29/20: I left Verizon and went to Sprint. Recently, I went back to Verizon with 6 lines. I went to the Elk River, MN store. Not only was I completely lied to about their special rebates for people switching to Verizon, they charged me $200 in charge backs for credits I never received. I have been dealing with the General Manager, Skye on this matter for months and he does not follow up. I am sick of this company and this store. They are the ones who screwed up on my last comment also!!

I walked in the store and told the coworker that I just bought a new phone with the otter box case and i told her that I had the case connected to my belt and it skimmed the door Handle in my room and I asked if that is covered in warranty she said that I would have to go through otter boxs website but she told me that she would take care of me since it was a day old.. Just went in to grab two Google Pixel 3XL cases since we received our phones but cases wont be in until next week. Didnt realize until we were home (25-30 mins away) that the guy helping us gave is a Pixel 3XL case and a normal Pixel 3 case. Called and asked them if they would help fix the problem and were told sorry we lock up at 7. Speed there in hopes to make and and knocked at 7:02 to locked doors and two employees who went in back to hide. It was THEIR mistake but they cant sacrifice literally a minute of their time to make it right. Will be in to return product and happily spread the word to go to a phone company who values their consumers.

Nobody asks what it is you are looking for, a person just walks up to you and asks for your name and number and tells you that there are 2 people in front of me needing assistance. All I wanted was a phone cover and a screen protector, it would have been a simple 5 minute sale. Oh well, get better service online with Verizon and free shipping. Horrible experiences more than one time and I am done with this store.

Customer service was terrible. They did not activate a phone on our account during purchase. Had to go to a different location to have the phone added to the account. They also placed a $41.99 screen protector on the phone. Which the price was never disclosed until after it was on the phone. It fell off in less then a week. When asking for help they directed us to a website. The website needed information in order to register the product. The employee at the store attempted to register the product and could not get the right model since they threw the box away. After finally getting the protector registered we learned that it would cost $10 in shipping to receive the new screen protector. I would give zero stars but google won’t let me. Needless to say we will never be going back.

Normally we find Pam & she is terrific. This time it was busy so I just spoke to whomever. My car charger had stopped working 3 months ago & I finally had a chance to bring it in. Before I could even explain what part wasnt working, I was told it wouldnt be covered. When I tried again to speak to say what was wrong with it, I was loudly told it was corroded & thats why it wouldnt be covered for replacement. (It had some road salt on it from falling on the floormat)Thats not even the end that doesnt work! But I was so put off that I wasnt even given the chance to speak & treated like I was trying to get away with something...that I just turned around & walked out.The charger end that goes in the aux outlet in the car is the broken part. One of the tabs is stuck & wont stay in the outlet without physically holding it in. Thats fine if Im a passenger but not if Im the driver. I had just used it that morning when I took a friend to the airport & she was able to sit there & hold it on the way down for me.I called customer care & had it taken care of, but it took so much longer than it needed to be. And it was embarrassing to be treated like that at the store. I get youre busy, but maybe find out whats going on first before making a judgement.

Worst Verizon experience I’ve had since being with Verizon. This store is suppose to be the “better” store because they aren’t a retail store, but I’ve not realized that my Monticello retail store is far more helpful then this one. They had little to no accessories here. They didn’t have the screen protector I want, or hardly any phone case selections, or even the charging pads. I told the sale person that I was going to go back to Monticello and purchase from them or just buy everything online since they didn’t have anything there. When I went in I asked for the store manager and he passed me off to someone else who didn’t know my situation with my pervious purchase- which to me wasn’t very professional, especially when I specifically asked for him. I will not be stopping by this location again. I would recommend this location to my friends or family.

Bought a new phone for my daughter and wife there at the same time. We specifically told the customer service person to add insurance protection to our daughters phone because she hasnt always been good to her phones. They did not. We found out the hard way after she left the phone on top of her car. Guess we have to always double-check the work of others and cannot trust people to get it right. Now were out $500.Despite the response to my review saying it would be corrected, so far it has not.

Stopped in today to see if I could get some issues resolved with my new pixel phone. There were a few people in the store there was a child four or five years old that was five feet away from me playing on some kind of handheld game and three girls I believe to be between the ages of 13 and 15 playing on an iPad across the store. I was working with the rep onon resolving the situation with my phone having a quiet and calm conversation everything was going well. Then as part of conversation I said to him when my husband calls me he tells me to go back and get a new phone because my phone is a piece of s***.. Mind you this was said calmly quietly and just as part of our conversation. Then the sales person looked at me and said maam Im going to have to ask you to watch your language in the store with kids in it . My statement was not said in anger to him was not loud disrespectful or rude. I was a customer in that store and did not need that young man disciplining me, shunning me, or correcting my language. That certainly was not his place. If I was being rude disrespectful or loud I could see it but none of that was happening. Having worked in customer service I believe he showed very poor judgment by scolding me.

Yesterday i went into the store to check the discount for my New employer and to ask about flip phones prices for my 8 year old daughter. The gentleman told me about this great deal that would be cheaper! It was the kids Gizmo watch. He said it was on sale for $75 off! With that info i called and talked over this desicion with my boyfriend and we figured it was a great deal because it was cheaper than the flip phone, it had GPS tracking, and we could track who she calls and texts! I go back to the gentleman and say ok. While sitting there you can hear employees talking about who was going to stay later because they could get more sales. After the guy started getting the sale together it turns out that its not on sale, you have to buy a phone in order to $75 on the watch. I decide to go ahead and do it because we are there and it sounds like a good idea. He kept bringing up that we could buy new watch bands anywhere. And how they werent that expensive. We get home and my daughter has it for maybe 4 hours last night. The battery was completely dead, everytime it updated her location on my app it was wrong (she was sitting next to me and it said she was at random addresses throughout our neighborhood), so i started reading reviews on the thing. All the reviews stated that the watchband was basically guaranteed to break within the first month. After reading more awful reviews and going through all the pros and cons of the watch i decided that for $190 the piece of junk wasnt worth it. I get to the store today and check in right as i walk in. After 40 minutes of waiting I guess my name was accidently removed from their list. They finally help me and I find out there is a restocking fee!!!! So now im out $50 after being talked into a stupid junk watch that i didnt even want! Im really disappointed in myself in letting a sleazy salesman talk me into something!

I recently went to the Elk River Verizon expecting the same customer service I receive from all other Verizon Stores. Unfortanly they are not like the other Verizon stores I have worked with in the past. I purchased 3 items little over a month ago. Iphone, Ipad and keyboard. 2 of the 3 items do not work. The key pad never worked so Coon Rapids Verizon took care of that for me and now my Iphone does not work. I bought it back to the Elk River Verizon today and got nothing but excuses from the General Manger Skye Thomas. For being a general manager of a cell phone store you would expect him to excel in customer service. Need less to say he has very little if any. When I brought to him my concern he ask me to leave and told me if I did not leave he would call the police. Skye Thomas has disrespected me today more than any one has in my life. If you are willing to make the drive stay away from this cell phone store, looking to be treated like a human make the drive to Coon Rapids.

Verizon sells you equipment insurance and leads you to believe that you will receive a replacement phone the next day. 4 days later and I am now out of town on business for 2 weeks without a replacement. This all could have been avoided if this stores management would have allowed the replacement to be shipped there so I could have picked it up on the way to the airport. They claimed it was a liability issue. Well, if thats the way you provide customer service I think I have little to lose by taking my business elsewhere. Been with Verizon for 15 years and will only be with them for 1 more...

This store is horrible, after being a pretentious douche nozel for the whole sale he said he couldnt switch my contacts. He said it wasnt possible but in reality it was because they obviously work on commision and he was desperatly trying to get to the next customer. i later had his coworker move the contacts for me but he wasnt very happy to do it either. Nothing but bad experiences at this store. These glorified cashiers seem to have high opinions of them selves. Would probably switch carriers before i would go back to this store. luckily princeton opened one and I go there.Have had much better experience at that one.

Called Verizon about getting a SIM card and was told this location closes at 8pm and that they would let the location know I was coming. I immediately hopped in my car to get to the store and arrived at 8:01. The guy came to the door and was talking to me through the door saying that they are closed and never got a call and proceeded to tell me through the door that he wouldnt give me the SIM card which would have taken a shorter time than trying to tell me they are closed. Very rude and very disappointed with Verizon because of the way I was treated at this location
