I highly recommend C V Autoworks. They performed custom work on suspension and installed a dual battery system in July and most recently, replaced my alternator in an 06 Tacoma. Each time, they did excellent work. I was in and out for the alternator in 3 hours. Jonah keeps you updated at every step of the way. Altogether a great business!

Efficient, professional, and ethical! Needed my windshield wipers fixed before driving over the pass, and Scott fixed me up right away. I had barely left the building before I got a call telling me it was done. These guys are great!! Im always hesitant about mechanics because I know nothing about cars, but they obviously have a strong commitment to ethical service. Thanks a bunch!!

We came into town with a blown head gasket. We were towing a boat and needed assistance. The mechanic stopped what he was doing and diagnosed the blown head gasket in 30 minutes. His advice was very helpful as I had never seen a head gasket fail in that mode before. They replaced the engine with a good, slightly used engine on schedule and on budget. Their quick and accurate assessment of the problem when we just “dropped in” was sincerely appreciated.

I thought I had reviewed this place when I got my car fixed here, but it seems thats incorrect. This place and the people working here are great! Ladies, if you need a car fixed or parts replaced without having to worry about being ripped off, this is the place to go! My A/C kept dying and Id already had it fixed twice with price tags of over $500. The fixes didnt last longer than the months. The last time, I had decided to take it to the dealership and they quoted me $4,000 to fix it. I was going to just try to suffer through it but once the temperature started reaching 100° I had to get it fixed. They fixed it here for a little over $230 and its still working almost 1 1/2 years later. I didnt realize itd been so long! Havent had a problem with it since.

Went in told them I think its the center differential bearing howling, they look at it and say it needs wheel bearings so they replaced both front bearings and claimed it was fixed... Went to drive home and guess what it still howls and they tried to claim it was wheel noise but if I wanna bring it in tomorrow I can.. Like I want someone who thinks a bad bearing noise is wheel noise to work on my rig further, waste of time and money

I have been towed a number of different times but have NEVER been so happy with the experience. Rod came to pick us up at Vantage and made a bad situation seem like nothing. Great conversation. Took us all the way back to Seattle. Just an overall good man. Arrived in a timely fashion. Knew exactly what to do. We changed the plans on him multiple times and he just worked with us to make sure everything was good to go. I can only assume that everything else they do is top notch as well. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roadside assistance or anything else. Thank you again Rod!!! You are a good man.

This was some of the best service I have ever received at any business anywhere. I had a wheel fly off my car while going westbound down i90. AAA recommended and towed me to CV Autoworks. As soon as the car came off to tow truck they got right to work. The car looked to be in decent shape, but I was unsure how much damage was really done. I thought my car was going to be down for the count for at least a week. They got my car up and running again in under 2 hours. I couldnt believe it. It only ended up needing a new stud and a new rotor as well as new lug nuts. If I ever need any auto repair work done, these guys will be my go to from now on.

Had my car towed through AAA to C V Autoworks to repair a brake fluid leak. They picked up my car within the hour, called and gave me an accurate quote (Said $100-200, was about $150), and did a great job. Now for the reason they deserve a 5 star review: they were willing to stay after closing on a Friday so I could have my car for the weekend, AND they were willing to come pick me up to get it instead of letting me wait for the Ellensburg transit. I really had a shocking and disrespectful experience with C V Autoworks . The problem was with my Alternator, and the employee diagnosed the car with battery deficiency. I told him I have a warrentee, and can get a new one for free. I needed his help with taking the battery out so I can take and replace with a new one cuz I did not have the tool. I was shocked that the employee ( bold guy in his latefourties) KICKED ME OUT and say get out. I find it racist to somedegree. The guy failed to diagnose the car issue and was extremely rude for no reason. I can not see myself going there again

Everyone in the shop is nice enough, but these guys cannot diagnose even the simplest of problems. I came in for a squeaking noise in my tire and these guys said there was no problem whatsoever. Scott and his mechanics have serviced my 1997 Subaru over the past several years. I recently hit that inevitable point where my trusty Outback was going to need a new head gasket. This is a job that requires the engine be pulled, and replaced. I will admit I have trust issues when it comes to mechanical repairs. I know very little about working on cars and always fear getting taken. This is why I value the service provided at C.V. Autoworks. Scott has always repaired my car under budget, he has always gone the extra mile. When I got my car back after the head gasket repair and took a look at the invoice, I saw that, as always, the price was not only less than quoted, but there had been extra work done above and beyond what was agreed on including cleaning the eniter grimey engine compartment. She runs like a new car and sparkles under the hood !. That kind of service is rare indeed. I feel it is important to acknowledge exceptional service where I find it, and I would whole heatedly encourage anyone needing mechanical help to take their car or truck to C.V. AutoworksThank you Scott and crew !!

This guy is the BEST! We were stuck in a snowbank on a lake of ice (under our car, which was parked on a concrete parking pad), and he dug the car out of the snowbank and pushed it out by himself, giving me advice as to how much to push on the gas! The AAA said it wouldnt pay him to get us out because we were in our driveway (more or less). He said they would only pay him the basic fee just for showing up and explaining that he couldnt help us. I offered to pay him for the extra, but he turned me down. My husband and I are both retired and not young anymore, and I dont know what we would have done without this young man! I highly recommend CV Autoworks!

I couldnt be happier. Was heading to Longview from Omak on the Friday before Memorial Day. It was 3 PM before a long weekend and, sadly, a long term intermittent problem started acting up again on our van. The check engine light flashed a number of times over Blewett Pass and finally came on and stayed on in Ellensburg. Long story short, CV Autoworks was recommended to us by others when we stopped to inquire about a mechanic. After meeting Scott and explaining we needed to figure out if we could continue on our trip to a family reunion or turn around and limp back to Omak, they took a look, diagnosed the trouble and quickly discovered the hidden source of the problem - an obscure pin hole size worn spot on the underside of a spark plug wire that was shorting to the engine. Though you could tell they were very busy, they figured out the problem in about 15 minutes and even took the time to retrieve a spare wire they had laying around - bypassing the worn wire with a replacement for us as a patch until it could be dealt with later. It immediately fixed the problem wed had for the past 2 years. Scott and Jonas (?) refused to take any payment for the quick fix - with Scott telling us (when I became insistent) I try to treat others as Id like to be treated. Our rough running engine had gotten 15 mpg between Omak and Ellensburg. We got 27 mpg on the rest of the trip and the engine purred like a kitten. THANK YOU SCOTT!!!! Weve already told that story dozens of times to family and others who pass through Ellensburg and though we hope they dont have any problems with their vehicles, they now know where to go if they do! Bless you and your crew...you turned a near disaster into a very memorable trip. Larry and Jan

Horrible business. Im from Spokane, I worked in Seattle and on my way back home transmission started acting up. My car was under warranty and my car lot was covering the cost. The owner had fixed the transfer case seal. We left took our rental car back when we got into our car got it into second gear it immediately started doing what it was doing before. The owner was really rude with us saying its not his fault and his mechanic test drove it and checked all the gears and it was running fine. No it wasnt. Couldnt go over 40mph. I called my car lot (they were not happy he didnt fix what he was supposed to). They called him he was rude to my car lot. My car lot ended up hanging up on him he was so rude. He literally had me in tears how mean he was. The owner of CV Autoworks called us this morning said said we need to come get this car off his lot even though he said he would look at it today. He said he has no interest in it. He has got to be the most unprofessional mechanic I have ever met and he will be hearing from lawyers

Rear tie rod failed on my toyota camry. Any mechanic I tried was closed on a Saturday, so I was going to be towed back to the Seattle area. The tow truck driver shows up and offers to take my car to C V Autoworks where he knows the owner who is willing to take a look. The owner takes a look, makes a few calls looking for the part and comes up empty. Then he tells me that he could do a quick weld job and get me back on the road. Our truck broke down just as we approached the Ellensburg Exit. We called AAA and were told an hour for a tow. Scott showed up in about 10 minutes. He towed us to a hotel, helped us with bags and even tried to talk the front desk clerk into giving them a break, theyre stranded here. He offered to take the truck back to his shop and we agreed. My husband called around for other bids on replacing the water pump to be sure their quote was in the right in the price range. They came in about $100 less. Around 11:00 a.m. the next morning the truck was ready and they brought it back to the hotel for us. He let us know what should be done with the vehicle for maintenance, and told us that we could get it done in our home area if we would like to avoid having to drive back over the pass to pick up our car again.
