The dealership was good, but unfortunately there’s a sales rep there named Ted Gann. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!! He is very unprofessional and will do/say anything to take your money. We decided not to go with the car he was trying to sell me and my girlfriend, and he blocked both our numbers and he is ignoring all communication from us trying to get a refund on the hold money we put down. We had to escalate this to the manager and am still waiting for a response as it’s been 3 days without any information about our situation.

I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with a business than I am with this one. Over the past couple of nights I’ve received text messages from sales employee inquiring whether or not I was interested in purchasing a vehicle based on a true car search I did last month. I understand I entered my information and that I would be contacted which is perfectly fine. What is not ok is getting text messages at 11:30 PM and 1:57 AM. Hopefully these text were autogenerated and there is a misconfiguration with your system, if not your sales practices are inappropriate and need to be addressed immediately.
Drove 45min to have my vehicle appraised after repeatedly telling them I got an offer and they would have to beat it and then got all the way there just for them to come in under the offer I had already got and claim because of wear on the antenna (who in the world cares about some wear on the plastic on the base of an antenna) and a scratch that was actually dirt that I scraped off with my finger with complete ease. Its not even that the offer wasnt good but the fact they tried to pull really shady tactics while appraising the vehicle.My suggestion for anyone looking is to visit a different dealership that is actually honest and at least not using really bad and obvious shady tactics.
The staff at this location is very knowledgeable and provide a timely service. I would recommend them 10/10 for anything you need solved with your vehicle. Casey handled the organization of my situation and had me back inside my vehicle in less than 5 hours. Whether you’re making an appointment or a walk in they will make sure they provide quality service. A great group effort from everyone involved and fair pricing. Out of all of my past dealership encounters, this has been by far the worst. I would highly recommend NOT purchasing a car from this dealership, either used or new. David Taylor is incapable of fixing the vehicles they sell. My experience with them has been for a throttle body issue that has needed repaired 4 times now in less than a single year.Each time the service department claimed the throttle body was fixed, I would notice the same issue recurring as early as a week later. They have been increasingly frustrated and unwilling to be of service. I can tell they just dont care about it by the tone theyve had with me during the last 3-4 phone calls.I would NOT recommend taking your car to the service department. They dont even have the loaner fleet of cars to keep up with the demand of broken vehicles they feel inclined to sell.I warn everyone to stay away from this place, as it will become a money pit.EDIT: I tried getting in touch with the customer relations manager several times, but she conveniently was never there. Further proof of the typical operations from this company. I got a boilerplate response to look like the company is saving face, but once again, its hollow and David Taylor Jeep/Chrysler doesnt actually care.
Service has always been pretty good, however, it is very difficult to schedule an appointment over the phone. Call center rarely answers and if you leave a message, your call is never returned. Took me three calls to finally get an appointment scheduled.Also, technicians need to be more careful not to leave oily handprints all over the vehicle.
I had a appointment at 10am on a Thursday, they called me Thursday evening and told me they didn’t have time to look at it and would look at it Friday morning first thing. Well Friday evening comes around and I hear nothing. So I have to call them. They tell me the earliest they can look at it is MONDAY. I was without a car for four days, when I had a appointment to look at the transmission. I then get a call Monday saying I owe them $160. They never called me tell me what was wrong with it or how much the fix would cost. Just that I owed money. When I get there, they send me straight ti cashiers office and she has no answers to what they did. I never talked to a mechanic about what they did. AWFUL experience. Oh yeah. I also went there last week for a oil change and I told them it burned oil and I needed to get it looked at. They indeed told me it was at the bottom of the safety line and they would start a oil consumption test. Told me to drive it 500 miles and bring it back. 500 miles later and it hasn’t burned oil because it’s only 500 miles. So therefore “it doesn’t burn oil”. I drive a 2018 Jeep Compass. 10/10 don’t recommend the car or place.

Have not even made our first payment on the truck and it’s already giving us problems. Has to go in the shop . They don’t have a loaner vehicle to let me borrow in what they fix the truck that I bought from them within 30 days haven’t even put 3000 miles on the truck and it’s already causing problems went through some paperwork I was given when I bought the vehicle and they added on a mechanics bill onto the price I wasn’t told the truck was having problems before they posted it for sale . Very very dishonest dealership i wouldn’t if I was you and I will not myself do business here again when and if they can fix the vehicle . I would trade it in somewhere else but I don’t want to sell a dealership a bad vehicle like it was sold to me . All the bad reviews here are nothing but very similar to what I’m experiencing. I will be reporting the. Bbb if they can’t fix or replace this truck for me .
Was an awesome buying experience. I was looking for a car for my son. Rich was great. No hassle or negotiation gave me price I wanted and was honest about car before we made the hour and half drive. Had car waiting when we got there. We went to a lot of dealerships before this one and I wish we would have went here first. This is about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Charged several hundred dollars to wrongly diagnose my problem with a 2015 Journey… problem was repaired at a local shop for just under a hundred bucks they were trying to rip me off for over several hundred if not a thousand or more… DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE OR BUSINESS… Dishonest to say the least and ride as can be…. Just like before the changed names… hmm wonder why that is…. If I could give them negative stars I would… NOT Happy

Worst car buying experience ever. I agreed to a price with Timothy Hulsey on a new Pacifica Hybrid for my wife, I got it in writing just to make sure, we drove over 100 miles because they had a Pacifica in the exact trim and color we wanted, they would not sell to us at that price once we got there. They figured since we drove so far they could squeeze another $1000 out of us. Plus there was this whole fiasco where they couldnt find the keys and wanted us to test drive another Hybrid and not the car we were buying. Then I found out why. The one we wanted had 745 miles on it and had been used for 5 months as a dealer loaner. They did not disclose this to us ahead of time and tried to hide it from us before we signed on the dotted line. And to add insult to injury, then they wouldnt even discount the vehicle AT ALL for being a program car, which they get a steep price break from Chrysler since they have to sell it with so many miles on it. Unbelievable. My wife was real nice to them at the time. She was so heartbroken after the fact. I reached out to their customer relations manager, who seems to post on everyones review. Nothing but crickets. I think that tells you all you need to know about David Taylor. Ill update this if they follow up, but its been several days, so Im not holding my breath. My appointment was at 7am. I got there at 655 am. At 7a I was waited on right way. It only took 30 minutes to get my oil changed and my tires totates. I was very excited because I got to work on time. After I told them I would be late about one hour. It made me happy.

If you are looking to lease a vehicle in a different state from David Taylor Ellisville, I recommend looking elsewhere. From the over-salesy management team breathing down my neck to the obviously uninformed contract team, my first experience at a car dealership was tainted. The contract rep even went so far as to call my trade-in cheap. The only thing I can recommend here is working with sales consultant Alex. He is very helpful and genuine. I felt that he was definitely working to make sure I was happy with this investment.

Just brought my Jeep to get fixed and the people that I had encounters with were not nice or super helpful, especially Matt who was working on my car. He was rude, very short with me, and overall my experience wasn’t great. I had to call multiple times within the week my car was there to get any kind of answer on to what was going on. I would recommend taking your car to a different location if you need it serviced.

Everything was great. I was in a hurry and they got me out the door fast with the vehicle I wanted at a great price. The only thing that seemed odd to me was they they had a sign on their door that seemed to downplay the significance of the pandemic. I don’t think that was necessary.

Filled out online trade in form, talked to a sales person via phone and email, provided him with photos mileage vin and history of my car, got a trade in offer for said car, proceeded to then drive 400 miles to be told my car was worthless and they didnt even give me five minutes or the chance to look at other cars, basically just insulted me and wasted a full day off. pretty pitiful tactics in my opinion

Overall the experience was great however, when advertising a car that includes pictures of 2 key fobs it should also come at the point of sale. I spent over $30,000.00 on a car that only came with one key fob although the dealer took pictures of 2 key fobs that would come with the car. Nathan is a great salesman and deserves the best, just disappointed in what I received.

Historically had bad car buying experiences until I walked into Dave Taylor Ellisville and sat down with Alex and Ryan. We worked on a deal and drove our new Dodge Durango off the showroom floor! It was such a refreshing experience for me and I was honored to be Alex’s first official buyer!
My father took my Jeep Cherokee in because it was stalling. It had extremely low oil (which is completely my fault). They told him that the motor had to be replaced and were ready to charge us over $8000! They ran a diagnostics page that did not match the other 3 Jeep specialty mechanic shops we went to. We think they were trying to con us as the Jeep mechanic we chose to go with only charged us $300 to run diagnostics, oil change, and a few other minor things. David Taylor employees will not return our calls or refund us for false diagnostics paperwork. My mother and father both cannot get ahold of management. This is not an honest dealership to bring your vehicles. If I could give zero stars, I would.

While everyone is great, I have to say my sales professional, Matt Allin, made it worth while. Terrible customer service and will not be using them again. We left our van to have some minor work done and could hardly get in touch with anyone while it was there. Our issues were not fixed and when I went to pick it up our license plates had been stolen off of both the front and back and no one noticed this for over a week. We had to file a police report and replace the plates. One person was helpful, but when I tried multiple times to talk with the management no one would answer my calls or get back to me. They reported multiple other dealer tags missing at the same time. Be careful of this place.
We came to this dealership looking for a new car Reed the salesman helped us out a lot and was very patient and helpful with our decision making! The service was great and quick on getting our vehicle! We are now a proud owner of a new Dodge Durango and we will definitely be back for any future vehicle purchases!
Brought my vehicle in to perform recall repair work only. Was told it would be at least 3 hours for the repair so left it there and said to call when complete. I received a call 15 minutes after it had been there to let me know that they performed a standard 23 point check (which I was not told about nor did I provide authorization to perform) and was told that my engine air filter was filthy and needed to be replaced, and that in looking at the filter they determined that the car needed a complete air system cleaning which would cost $248. I told them no thank you, just perform the recall work. They then called me back in approx 45 min saying the car was ready to go. From 3 hours to 1 and advising me to do service that didnt need to be done. I had just had the filter changed about a month prior and my vehicle is maintained consistently. I checked the filter after picking it up and its completely clean and still new.Unethical practice and a shame that they would do that to a customer. Whether its paid or recall work, it was unethical and bad business practice.
I’ll tell you one thing my experience a David Taylor with my salesman Bert was just exceptional as always buy myself a new renegade and got my granddaughter another renegade a 2015 and she loves it so my experience a David Taylor has been nothing but just wonderfully wonderful thank you Bert for all your help Bert you make shopping at David Taylor a joyous experience. Tim the sales manager said they were putting all new front brakes on the truck I purchased to pass inspection and come to find out when I took it to mechanic to get the A/C fixed after it went out 20 days after I bought it. They just put on new rotors but left the old pads on it and they have less 1/4 on them and only drove truck 700 miles so far since I got it
When I visited the dealership today I was greeted by a sarcastic sign on the door regarding the mask mandate which mentioned our lovely government and how it deemed we all have to wear masks. It went on to say that if a customer is not wearing a mask they will assume that they have a medical reason not to and will welcome them in. Attitudes like this are the reason why COVID cases are skyrocketing in our area. I will assume that this establishment also does not believe in sanitization and I will be buying my new car elsewhere.
We had an excellent experience buying our new car. Sales staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. All of our questions were answered and the finance manager Justin,was very helpful and very quick. We will definitely come back for our next car.

I hate car buying! After a 3 hour drive to this dealership, I dreaded the process....Wow! Was I wrong! Brian Binz was amazing! 0 pressure, knowledgeable and just a stand up guy. No question was side stepped and he even made a phone call to make sure the information I was given was accurate! When he delivered my car to me, he sat with me for an hour, setting up my car and my phone, showing me the apps, etc. If youre looking for a great experience car buying, this dealership is for you!
