Im not usually a review leaving kindof fellow but I had the good fortune of having Alex help me recently with a new unlocked phone. I wanted to add to my account and was having problems doing it online. Alex postponed his departure from work by a few minutes to help get the task done. Deeply knowledgeable, customer oriented, affable and very efficient. Alex should run AT&T and not just one store. Much appreciated.

Over crowded and under staffed, employees try their best to help their customers but it has NOT improved in over a year. I understand this is in part due to the pandemic but when you have 1 person trying to handle 8 people waiting in the store (I left after half an hour of waiting with 3 people ahead of me), they need other Solutions, such as setting up appointments, to handle their customers needs.Around the corner, Sprint was able to help me in five minutes.

I went to the store to convert my wifes prepaid flip phone to a smart phone added to my account, The agent was very courteous and advised that we should purchase a Samsung outright and add it to my existing account. That would require an activation fee and a reasonable increase to my monthly bill. Later I received an estimated bill that was more that twice what I was previously paying, I called Customer Service and was told that it is just an estimated bill. sir you actual bill will not be that much. I should wait until my next cycle to see my actual bill.This is a very confusing and disturbing process. If you cannot predict the new bill amount with some better accuracy. why send the confusing email?

I had a very good experience with Teddy. I was having a rough day, probably not in the best mood. But Teddy was very patient with me and the problem I was having with my phone, very professional and we had good conversation as we waited for my phone to transfer to another phone. It took a while because I didn’t feel confident doing it at home and she was totally okay with that, very accommodating. And I left with the problem solved and in a much better mood. I strongly recommend this place.

Unbelievable.. they took 50mins to identify what type of iPhone I was returning !! I had to do the job myself and called AT&T to ask. They need to be more on top of their work. I was told that returning phones would be fast and easy and they made it so frustrating for me.

This store is amazing, everytime I come in with my family to take care of my business the team takes care of me like Im family. The Manager Steve and Tegan work so well together. I had a few issues that another store made on my account and they did not want to help me. The other store kept telling me to call customer service and Steve and Tegan made sure to help me in the store. This is the best customer service Ive gotten at any location that Ive been at before. If you need good service see Steve and Tegan.

Service was terrible. I went to the store on Sunday Nov 8 . There were two sales persons seating by the desk . I asked them to download the app to my phone since I was having problems. . They started playing with my phone Samsung S6 and after a minute they both announced that my phone was too old to download the app and they tried to lure me to get a new phone .They were even making fun of me telling that my phone was obsolete..I left the place and I went across the street to T mobile store where the sales person helped me in a couple of minutes.These guys at AT&T store should have been more honest by telling me that they do not want to fix my phone because they get commission every time they sell a new phone instead of telling me that my phone was too old and that was the reason why they could not help me.

Went in today for the first time due to having sim problems. I was unfortunately locked out for some reason, a 2 min issue took maybe an hour. The manager and employee were extremely helpful and patient! Thank you very much for your assistance. Highly recommend this store location! Great professional service!

Has was fabulous. I was having problems with my phone and he was able to solve all of them for me. He was very patient and made me feel comfortable. I left this store feeling happy and glad I stopped in. I will definitely be coming back to only this store in the future. Jason was a delight. Had great experience working with Tegan to replace my old phone! Suggested appropriate replacement (cognizant of budget constraints), clearly explained process to transfer data from old phone to new, and did it all in less than 15 minutes. Going to the ‘cell phone store’ used to be on my top 5 list of most hated errands, but no more!

Had a very good and helpful experience with Jorge Carranza who stayed with me during very long waits for verizon to answer phone in order to change a number for my parent. There was very little money involved for At&T yet Jorge gave me hours of patience and thoughtful guidance. This store has been consistently helpful.

After being given the complete runaround from ATT customer support over the phone, we connected with Ty at the Evanston store. Ty went above and beyond to make sure that our issue was resolved!! He sat patiently to listen to the saga of our issue and made meticulous notes in our account to help escalate the issue through Back Office channels. When things seemed to be stalling out again, Ty followed up personally to make sure the right folks had the information they needed so that we would be taken care of - he truly treats his customers well and we are so appreciative!!

This review is largely about the incredible level of customer service of one person: the store manager, Ty-Carney. Every AT&T employee should aspire to be like Ty. His professionalism, dedication and concern for his customers is second to none.Ty went above and beyond when I was dealing with a nightmare involving some refunds for phones that were returned to AT&T (the total amount involved was over 3K). I felt at my wits end dealing with the AT&T phone customer service. Ty gracefully and kindly took charge of the whole situation, going above and beyond by helping me with the phone calls and providing countless hours of support. He was absolutely incredible, kind and so professional throughout. If it wasnt for Ty, nothing would have gotten resolved.Ty-Carney really is the best representative of AT&T can ever ask for.He deserves a promotion and so much recognition. He is an all-star.After Tys patience during the exhausting ordeal, I really am so indebted to him for everything he did to help me with this issue - even on his days off, he made himself available to help answer any questions and address any concerns I had. I walked into the AT&T store in Evanston, and amazingly, I got waited on by Jason right away(!), and he was competent, helpful, efficient, and patient! Best experience at an AT&T store ever! Excited about my new IPhone 11, and I even kind of know how to use it! New technology is challenging for me, but Jason didn’t laugh at me even once! I’m very pleased.

Sunday’s hours say they open at 11am. We show up at 12, there’s a post it on the door saying “be back in a little bit”. 1:30p and the post it is still up. If you aren’t going to be open on Sunday, at least update your store hours

Ill never go back because I spent over $50 in street parking, waited more than anything for sales rep to contact her manager about every little thing and ended up with a bad deal on phone and tablet I didnt even ask for. I spent two hour, on a Saturday afternoon, in the store to change from T Mobile to AT&T. The manager as well the person wich helped me were really nice and it wasn’t their fault that the transfer couldn’t be done on the spot. But when I called the store, the fallowing day, I had guy named Yoshi was not only lying to me, but also patronized me.

I was frustrated with my plan and I went into the store and talked to Steve the manager. I threatened to switch to another provider and Steve reminded me that AT&T had one of the best networks and since I travel a lot for work the other networks would be very frustrating. I got a better plan for my phone and hot spot and will remain a happy AT&T customers.

He was extremely attentive and my fixed my issue with my voicemail faster than I could have imagined. He was very thorough and helped me get the AT&T Visual Voicemail app as well.

The guys in the store were amazing. Thanks to Steve, Joshi and Tristan I was able to get a new phone and number. However the online customer service that we had to access was terrible. I went in because my husband died and I wanted to remove his phone. Customer service instead canceled the whole account! And were not able to get my number back after a total of 2.5 hours on the phone. They could do nothing and no compensation was offered. The guys in the store worked very hard to make a bad situation better and I now have a new phone plan in my name. The level of unhelpfulness by customer service was appalling.

After being Verizon customers for years, we finally decided to make a switch to AT&T. Not know how complicated the process would be, we prepared to spend hours in the store. The service is certainly quick and friendly, but yesterday I was pitched the AT&T Next plan as though it would save me a TON of money over the long haul. It wasnt until I asked enough questions to really understand what was being said that I came to understand that the Next plan is really a total ripoff, in my personal opinion. It wouldnt have saved me any money and I would have ended up paying the full price for a new phone (at a ridiculous rate) in installments. Had I not read up about the Next Plan before going in, I might have been suckered into signing up for it by AT&Ts deliberately deceptive chart, which does not compare apples to apples. I would have appreciated more honesty and integrity from the salesperson rather than someone just trying to squeeze more money out of me, but what can you expect from a corporate giant?

Ordered a new iPhone 6s 64g since the store was sold out- they assured us it would only be 48hrs deliveried to us- also upgraded our storage since we were going over- went back in and guess what-- they NEVER placed the order. Robert was our sales person and he didnt know what he was doing- manager was quick to have all the answers yet nothing happened- Dont go to that store- they are terrible!!! There are two employees just standing around (I guess their job is ONLY to check people in??) One is playing on a display iPad, and the other is playing on his phone. ATROCIOUS customer service. I arrived and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. An hour later, I asked again how long the wait would be and they told me at least 45 minutes more. So I left to get lunch and signed up to be alerted by text when it would be my turn. About half an hour later I got a youre next in line text so I went back to the store. About an hour after that I asked why it was taking so long and they said that there was someone who bumped me in line because they had an scheduled an appointment in advance. At that point, I had waited close to 3 hours and wasnt even CLOSE to being helped. And they werent gonna mention that people with appointments are served before anyone else. Unbelievably disappointed. Will avoid this location at all costs and will most likely switch carriers as this has become a very regular occurrence with AT&T.
