Went here on Tuesday to get my hair flat ironed paid $80 for what nothing. The Styliest told me I can come back for my hair to get fixed sat in the salon for over 1.5 hours for nothing my hair still looks like nothing was done to it. I wish I could get my money back for this poor service. If I could give no stars I would

I was a walk in on a saturday afternoon (late) and they agreed to take me without an appointment. (Good sign). I did not have a particular style that I wanted and let the stylist do what was best for the shape of my head and I LOVED it. I will certainly go back. My hair is natural but she caters for all hair chemical treated, weaves and natural hair. Highly recommend!

Stay far away!!! My wife scheduled an appointment with these unprofessional people. They took a $25 payment as a deposit to hold the appointment. However, when she arrived to get her hair done (on time) the building was closed. She called and someone answered ‘Hello’ sounding like she just woke up. My wife told her she was there for her 10am appointment. The representative claims they had to run out to get a package but would be back and told my wife to come back in 30 minutes or later that day. My wife told the rep she couldn’t do that, as she had scheduled her day around this, then asked who she was supposed to wait for...then the rep (who claimed she would be the person doing my wife’s hair because the original sylist was out) hung up! Why is this GHETTO business even operating in Fairfax? My wife is VP of Internal Audit for a Fortune 500 company and would have given them great business. Smh.I’m pretty sure they won’t last much longer. I’m warning you ladies to stay away!!

Completely unprofessional...how is the location closed for my appointment? Im asked to wait 30 minutes only for them still not show. Why call me inquiring about my whereabouts and then hang up on me...twice.

I have been here a few times for a wash and to get my wig highlighted. When she didnt highlight my wig correctly (I asked for honey blonde, she colored my wig Barbie blonde) I shouldnt have come back. But I wanted to support African American businesses. I came in for a sew-in and it turned out a hot mess. My hair was thin and bald on top, with no hair to cover the exposed tracks, and pieces of black thread was sticking out all over the top! She didnt even bother cutting the thread!!! I didnt get a mirror to see the back/top of my head to find out the next morning my hair looked horrible. The style, wash, partial relaxer (which didnt take as she washed it out after 3 mins) and sew-in cost $250. Ladies please trust the reviews. I deleted my first review as she agreed to other services to make me whole. Its been over a month and she still hasnt kept her agreement so you decided for yourself. She may excel at doing Caucasian hair but African-American styles, are not her specialty in my opinion.

I just moved to virginia 2 months ago i had been looking for someone to do my braids since i got here and i found her shop on google she was indeed a very nice lady we had been texting before i came and i sent her a picture of what i wanted and i warned her my hair was short so she would know keep in mind my hair has been this short before and ive gotten it braided plenty of times i left out of her shop the front looked fine she didnt even offer me a mirror to look at the back i get home and look at the back my parts arent straight at all throughout my hair the braids are sloppy and my hair is coming out of the braids because the braids are entirely too big for how short my hair is in the back once again ive had my hair braided plenty of times before with it being this short and ive NEVER had this problem i texted her very nicely told her my issue she didnt respond so an hour later i sent a picture and asked her again would she like to redo it or give my money back on top of it looking an absolute mess she rushed because she had a client that was supposed to be coming anyways throughout us texting she kept giving me the run around saying my hair was short but my hair being short has nothing to do with why my parts are no were near straight my hair doesnt even look parted so she told me she does not do refunds and i said fine so we can redo it she ends up telling me she will not redo it because it will look the same way and she cant text me anymore because she was with a client i told her thats fine i will come to her shop and we can figure something else out she then tells me if i come she will call the police because at this point im threatening her and for $100 i cant tell her thats shes going to redo my hair never did i threaten her i simply said i will come and we can figure out something else to do with my hair and nothing i said to her could have ever made her feel threatened and for $100 i should definitely be able to come back to your shop and you be able to fix my hair because i did not get what i paid for i did not pay for my braids to be buldging my parts not to be straight or my hair to be coming out of my braids its unacceptableUPDATE: those are the pictures i showed her of how i wanted my hair and thats my hair after she finished the same day and the hairstyle only lasted a week before the braids started coming out on their own and when i say coming out the one on the bottom was literally hanging i had to bobby pin it up to last the rest of the week before i got my hair redone and i tied it down every night

My hair is uneven and horrible blotches in the back...just horrible. ..If u dont know what ur doing just say so...instead of faking like you do for the money!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
