Great place to look for childrens books. This place has a great selection of books. The membership maybe worth purchasing if you will be buying a lot of books. The staff was very helpful. We will be visiting this place a lot.

Barnes & Noble works to provide a comforting space for book reading and shopping and this location did just that. The customer service was top notch as I was given suggestions on what to read based on what I liked and the employees were willing to answer my questions and go look up information for me. The stacks were easy to navigate as well!

I love coming here to get the latest quilt and sewing magazines. They have a great selection.

Children’s section is really good. Lots of great choices for little readers. It would also be a great place to bring kids to read, they have a few fun spots where kids can get lost in books.Overall, what are you come to expect from Barnes & Noble. No big surprises here.

During a recent visit to Virginia, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Barnes & Noble. Customer service, bistro, and large book and gift selections are still remarkable and top notch.

The staff is very nice and helpful. They greet me every time I enter the store and I find what Im looking for every time. My only small gripe is that they didnt have the specific book I was looking for the last time I was there. Aside from that, great place.

We love Barnes and Noble! Its a book store so it starts fabulous and goes up. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. You can get all kinds of books, games, cards and journals. I really like the partnership with Starbucks. Its great to be able to relax with a book and a snack or lunch.

I have been stopping by this book store quite often lately because I don’t have enough time to look through certain books to find the exact information I need. It’s easy to have someone look up a possible book through keywords in their system however, Vladimir has been a lifesaver! He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what books would have what I am searching for. He has saved me so much time and energy on top of that I’m so happy with the books I’ve ended up getting. He also gave me a discount due to the book’s condition. If you guys don’t have a specific book in mind but know the info needed for a research etc. just ask for Vladimir!

Great selection of books in a well laid out and maintained store. With the decline in the number of bookstores nationwide, this store was a reminder of what a special place a bookstore could be. Spent well more than we intended, but enjoyed every minute.

Good assortment of books. I like to look around in here, and can easily spend an hour just browsing. I like that the cookbook section has a small area for international cuisine. And of course for the kids, they have a large childrens section and lots of games, puzzles, etc.

Im so grateful this company hasnt closed their doors. This is an awesome bookstore with magazines and accessories too. It is joined with Starbucks so you can sit with a coffee and checkout your new read. The information desk people are very responsive. If they dont have the book, theyll help you find it!

Its B&N. Theyre pretty much all the same and fine. That said this one has a place to get coffee and snacks which is nice when you have the munchies and want to find something to peruse. Staff is helpful and there are a few of the around, so its easy to get assistance and that is rare this year!

A very comfortable bookstore including a large selection of genres and categories to pick from. I think what stands out the most is the cafe area where you grab some food and drinks and do your work in a very quiet and peaceful area.UPDATE: The environment is still great. I recently got a B&N Membership card to get some discount on the drinks I always get every time I come here to study and its refreshing per every visit.

Theyve changed the layout in the store, but staff were there to cheerfully direct me to the section I was looking for. I had ordered two books for pickup, but also ended up buying an additional two after browsing the displays and staff picks. Lol

I love shopping online, but there’s something about physical book stores that intrigues me. It’s important we keep these alive! That’s why I support my local Barnes and noble as much as I can. The people that work here are the nicest people you’d ever come across. There’s also a Starbucks inside so you can take advantage of that and go eat/work, whatever. Love this location!

One of the few remaining Barnes and Nobles around here, but it has lasted for good reason. A great selection of books and accessories. The only gripe I have is with the website. The sites always have lower prices, but only online. The site also does not advertise this very well, so it’s awkward when you come in and the price is much higher. Other than that, it’s a great store.

I work at Kaiser and visit this location, mainly the Café regularly, a long with my colleagues. Today, I visited the location and was the only one in line at the moment, ordered coffee and a cookie. I was given my cookie, however, the line got longer and the staff called for back up. I patiently waited, he then called the second time. The backup person came and started assisting with oven goods, mind you, I was the first to be assisted. I ended up canceling my order and walking away without what I came for and late getting back to work. Staff need to be trained in these situation to assist one customer at a time. Shouldnt ring up the entire line while the rest are still waiting. At this point, Id rather drive to a full service Starbucks where its adequately staffed.The cashier seemed nice, also seemed new/nervous.

I live the smell of books. Brick and mortar bookstores dont seem to be that common anymore and thats a shame. This B&N is big and roomy and the books are of course categorized well. The only downside is that there are not enough plush seats to sit down and get my read on.

Today my kids and I went to this Barnes and Noble. My daughter had been asking me to take her so we went 1st time being at this location. We found her a book she loved it, now next step was to find my son a book. We went to the kids section, he saw the book he wanted but he read them ALL. I asked a (woman) who worked at the store can she help me once she is finished with the customer she was assisting she said. “Yes”. We stood waiting until she was finished, she then stood up and walked right passed us and never mentioned if she will be back to help or anything. That was a sale lost for their store since she chose not to help us, very very disappointed. My son was sad he actually wanted the book.

I wanted a movie 1847 from another Barnes and nobles as well but the one in seven corners got it there within three days and the other Barnes and Noble hasnt even called me yet and I went to them at least a week before

Ive always had a pleasant experience with the staff here and theyre always attentive and willing to help you find an item.I mostly go to the technology section, which always has a good variety of books across a range of topics. Most of the books are usually the latest edition with current information, although you find an anomaly occasionally.Having a Starbucks here adds to the experience. I find the smell of paper and coffee to be very relaxing.

Well as a former Bookseller I totally enjoy being in another bookstore. And I had a little bit of fun rearranging some of the books by certain authors so that some books that they wrote that were sets were close together and titles were together and general I enjoyed myself. Im a Borders Bookstore orphan and I miss working at a bookstore. This was a huge Barnes & Noble and I can only hope that theyll keep up the good fight so that we can continue to help bookstores in our community.

As a mother of a school aged child, the importance of a bookstore is not lost on me. The appeal of a child picking out a book and calling it your own is reason enough for 5 stars. The store itself is large. Its well organized, clean, and has an amazing selection. They offer books, magazines, games, collectors items, toys, and more. They have an amazing childrens area. They even have special store events, and childrens book readings. I love this store, if you love books and collectibles you will too.

It was super nice! The kid section had a place to sit down and read (and a little stage). They also had a lot of classic kid books and stuffed animals (and other toys too). They had a nice selection of other books too! Also the Starbucks there was really good. The people were super nice. 10/10

I went to Barnes and Noble looking for a Bible for a child, hoping to find a precious moments one or something similar... They only had a baby Bible. The rest were called Childrens Bible but were stories not an actual Bible. I ended up getting a pocket Bible. Its sad when they can carry all kinds of books but very little when it comes to a Bible

Okay, I love B&N. I asked a lady for books in Braille. She was so negative. She kept saying, we dont have. When we found a book in Google that I was interested in, she wrote the wrong title. Like she wants to prove her negative point. Unpleasant as if I was asking her for money not books to buy. B&N, it is time to educate your staff, be kind, not negative, not unpleasant. Remember, discrimination goes against education.

Fairfax location is great! They do have most of the items in stocked and available. You just need to walk through, get some coffee and enjoy with your rest of the day! It is extremely quite that is a huge plus! Thanks guys for the great taken care of.

Good place to take my three-year-old grandson for a break. He can check out the books and there is a play area as well as a sitting area for reading. Lots of kids running around so it’s good for an active toddler.

This Barnes and Noble is quite large with a great selection. I focused on technical and scientific books of which they have one and a half to two rows of each. Its the largest technical selection Ive seen in a Barnes and Noble.Despite the Christmas rush, staff were friendly and upbeat.

Love a physical bookshop. Middle aisles some disguise what they are which is fine: gift ideas. Wish the café could honor Starbucks app gift cards.

One of the few remaining brick and mortar bookstores in the area. There is something great about being able to walk into a store and browse through the books and magazines on the shelves. The store is in a good location with enough parking. There are several areas where you can sit down and just relax. I wish there were more of these types of stores.

All the employees are really friendly. They are always willing to help you. They treat you like a real person and even talk to you about what you like while you are looking for stuff. They collection of books is really good too. You may go in looking for something and find stuff very similar to go with it. I have yet to have a bad experience there. Its very well kept as well.

Clean store. There is always staff walking around the store, so if you have any questions, its easy to find an answer. Service is friendly. (Some of the cashiers will nerd out with you while you buy your books. Its honestly so much fun!)

Always a great selection of books available! Helpful staff and they will always assist you with books, even if they dont have them (by ordering them from other stores for you). My brother loves the toy area. The pastries they have in their little cafe is the cutest, and I recommend the sponge cake! They always have discounts or deals going on, so make sure to subscribe to their email list. The checkout lines may seem long but they go by fast so its worth it! This is my favorite bookstore!!!

My kids are in Barnes& Nobles kids club. As club members you get to know about all the organized activities and in their BD, they get very delicious rewards. We enjoy going there. The cafe is nice and there is enough room to seat everyone :)

Books! Need I say more?? Im sure the treats and cafe drinks are tasty but Ive got to be honest, Im far too engrossed in perusing aisle after lovely aisle of books to ever make it to the cafe. The staff are busy but always ready to assist.

I called about a book and Jackie kindly held the last copy for me until I could come pick it up. The store was well staffed and neat. It can be hard to buy the quantity of books you want at a traditional bookstore that sells books at list price (especially kids books), but Barnes & Noble does try to make it worth your while with their service, selection, and member discount.
