Always check prices on the website first.This has happened to me a bunch of times. I guess its not really the stores fault, but rather the company itself. Im leaving a 2 because the staff is helpful and have always price matched the website, but you should be aware that these are drastic price differences. Went in for some labels, online they were $8 and in store they were $15. Went to go get a chair, online it was $150, in store on clearance it was $200 and had damage from being open box. I only go here if Im in a pinch and always have the site opened on my phone.

Terrible customer servicetwo bad experiences- one time, I came to print something using the self-printing machines and one of them had an issue and switched to the other one and it also had a problem. I asked for help and the guy came was not able to help me and did not offer any solution and saw me walking away and did absolutely nothing.-Today, I had a amazon /UPS return. the store was almost empty. I waited for 10+ minutes and asked for help from the associates couple of times and no one came to help me. I simply walked away after 15 minutes and no one tried to offer to help me.I am always a patient person and I understand reasonable delays due to high demand times but both of these times, the store was almost empty. The terrible thing is that I live within a walking distance to this store but I would not go there again.
Dont shop here - they lie about not taking credit card .. they guy in front of me paid with a credit card . Spoke to another associate and he gave a different story. Someone needs to look into them

Ive been there couple of times and I concurr with another reviewer...they shy away from opportunities to help and even try their best to avoid you. And definitely, no greetings of any kind. Im glad they are in business for when I need something right away versus waiting at least 2-3 days to get orders placed on-line but thats about it.
Horrible horrible store!!! Came to drop of a misdelivered ups box. The man behind the counter saw my boyfriend but walked away from the counter. THEN as we are waiting to check out some woman held up the entire line talking about her coupons and life story. It was not till my boyfriend asked for another cashier did one eventually walk up. Will never be coming back.
I ordered online for a label maker. I went into the store for pickup people were doing nothing but would not help me by picking up my order. I realize maybe people have certain things they focus on but I would have really appreciated someone helping me picking up my item without having to wait in line for 30 minutes when someone could have helped. Next time I’ll either pick a different location or just not order from staples.
Sean is phenomenal! Attentive, caring and kind. He sold me my computer last June. Today, he renewed my virus software quickly and applied a $20 discount. He even helped me get everything to my car. I will ALWAYS return to Staples in Fairfax for all my office needs!
Decent location and inventory
Horrible experience. Sean sold me an open-box return. Shipping label on box pointed to residential address. When opened, the toner cartridge was open and items were not factory-sealed. None of this was conveyed. I called Sean at the Fairfax store and he indicated I could drive back (which is 35 min away) and get money back or a 10% discount off the price. REALLY? I consider this entire sale as deceptive. I will be returning the printer and advertising my discontent on all major reviews along with friends and family. This is atrocious behavior.

Amazing location!! Its sad to see such negative reviews. The staff was very friendly. I was welcomed as I walked in the door then asked if they can help me find something. Julia in the copy and print center was very nice in helping me with my brochures and made it a point to walk me over to what I needed.
Went to copy some photographs and the color copier wasnt working properly e.g. streaks and blotches of toner, etc.. I informed the cashier who was sitting on the counter behind the print center about it. She told me that all of the copies come out poor quality and there was nothing that she could do. Went to Office Depot where I got better service and the color copies were less money.
Came here to print a photograph. I was greeted right at the entrance and the person in the copy area really was sweet and helped me. Im definitely impressed.

They let me exchange a printer that I was very unhappy with, even though I’d had it for a few months. Saved me from having to deal with the manufacturer (Canon) and warranty, etc. Very positive customer service experience!

Had a terrible experience with the online ordering system and then the in store experience to resolve the issue. Placed the order Wed, it was supposed to come in on Friday. It got shipped Friday and when I called, I was told there was nothing I could do unless I went into a store. The order was placed by a rep, Faye/ Fey, who told me to go to 1 location. Went there during lunch, they did not have the product. The order had been placed with another store. Manager, John at Fairfax, said it was not his fault, there was nothing he could do. I had 2 options, cancel the order or go pick it up at the other location. Had 2 drive to the other location, 25 minutes away to pick it up. Completely disgusted with the customer service provided.
The store is nice and clean now that its remodeled. I used to work there years ago, and it was always understaffed. Im having a hard time getting a hold of someone on the phone right now; I guess things havent changed.

AWFUL!!! Worse customer service ever!! The guy gave me excuse after excuse on prints for me and when I said ‘nevermind, I’ll go to office depot’ and walked away, he started talking smack about me and saying ‘YES, dont have to do that one’ under his breath. SCUM. Never going back to this staples again.
Seems like all the employees at Staples printing center are in a bad mood and just absolutely hate their job. If they have to help you, itll be the bare minimum. I noticed this after having gone to two locations in the same day...
Staples has lots of good things I need, such as Command brand hooks and mounting supplies!
Julia behind the copy and printing desk at this location was unhelpful and noncommunicative. Came in with a thumb drive and was repeatedly told to go home and do it online.Customer behind me complained and called out Julia on her attitude and received basic level of service while continuing to ignore my needs.You shouldnt have to complain to receive the bare minimum of customer service.I will not be ordering through this location anytime soon.

These people do not know what they are doing!!I called and was on hold for 15 minutes, then when I finally got someone to answer, I asked them to send me a reicept over the phone, the first man I talked to sounded like he was on drugs or sleeping. Could not make any words out and continued mumbling. When I called again, I was on hold for another 8 minutes and the lady yelled at me for calling to say I never got the email! Terrible service! Stay away!!!

The store was neat and organized, and everything was easy to find.
Have had good experiences with this store since it opened. Today topped it all - was trying to find a keyboard for my new IPad 5th generation. Almost impossible to find discovered after I purchased it. Emily, at this store spent over 45 minutes trying to find one that would fit. She even went to the extent of checking other stores and the Apple Store. Because of her help I was able, through the process of elimination find the product online - only one distributor has it, not Apple. She helped me more than 2 Best Buy stores and Micro Center combined. I was so frustrated it was refreshing to have such a quality person put so much effort with helping me. Nowadays it is rare.

The guy at the checkout station didnt even check all of my items and listed them as same even thought there were 2 different folders within 4 hard plastic folders. The people are very irresponsible and cant really do their job when you ask them questions. I paid extra money for those 2 lower-grade folders because of this persons mistake. Even though its only a dollar or two, but from this you can tell how incompetent they are. Really dont recommend buying stuff from here unless you are in desperate times and desperate needs. Make sure to double check you receipt before leaving the store.
I tried ordering 50 fliers.spent 30 min. trying to order.called the store several times.Got disconnected several times.When I did get to talk to someone in prenting department, they were absolutely useless .A cople of times the static in their line made it impossible to under stand what they were saying.Extremely poor service !!!

Customer Service Is worst.People who work here dont have any knowledge nor interest in helping customers. I just went there yesterday night, I asked a lady about their on going promotion for antivirus which I received in news letter at home. Lady was like she does not even know what that product is, after looking at our faces for 5 mins she called her super-wiser, who said all antiviruses are sold out(Lots of customers have purchased that rxact same antivirus during that day so it ran out of stock). I left counter and was doing other shopping, and found pile of antiviruses on the rack and stickers of that same deal were posted on the rack. When I called their super wiser, he was looking shocked and surprised. After re-verifying in their system he said deal is on and I should buy that product. Now third associate did my billing and he did not gave me any rebate forms, When I asked about it he was surprised again as he does not know anything about it. Finally he gathered info after 10 mins, gave me a piece of paper and told me to apply for rebates online. I am sitting online for rebates right now and online site is asking for rebate Id which is not there in bill or piece of paper which I received from them.Over all non of these 3 employees including cashier have any info about what is going on in staples, Instead of them giving info to me, I had to ask every single details myself and they gave me incomplete information all the time (Honestly non of the associate were having proper answer for even a single question). Neither they have any product knowledge, nor sales information. From the interactions it was clearly visible that they are not interested in customer satisfaction at all. They are just standing there as they are being paid. I dont recommend anyone to go to this store.
Clueless kids behind the Printing service desk. Completely untrained and inexperienced. Unable to figure out how to print engineering prints on multiple occasions.
Went in to buy $400 worth of school supplies to donate to foster kids in need, and the store manager Enrico wouldnt honor the prices. It wasnt clearly marked anywhere that the price only applied to the first 30 items. Very disappointed.
Its Sad to see those reviews, Julia who is the one most of the time take care of our business printing is EXCELENT !!! she calls you if she have a question and when its ready she does the same, only here you get that treatment . Thanks Julia for your great customer services .
