Ran out of UPS supplies, packed and taped the box, printed the label and headed to the UPS Store. Upon entering, was greeted by the woman behind the counter, explained I ran out of plastic sleeves and asked if she had one I could use.She goes into a diatribe about how shipments need to be fully complete before dropping off. But she’d “help me out this ONE time” with a sleeve.Seriously? They’re free supplies and it’s a UPS Store.Never again at this location.Told her I could use with a lot less attitude after she scanned the box and handed me the receipt. She didn’t particularly care for that.
The customer service at this location is above and beyond! I came in one day and asked Hajera a million questions before bringing my package in to ship the next day. Hajera and Isaia answered all my questions, gave me a price quote and extra tips and suggestions for shipping. They were even my personal experts and consultants on shipping things that I was trying to sell online. They were so helpful I can not thank them enough!
I come to this location frequently to send packages to my daughters at college. I spend a lot of money doing this. Today a rude employee would not put a piece of tape on my box. She rudely told me to come back once it was taped. Should I go all the way home to tape it. She told me she would not touch my box because of covid. Horrible customer service. I called and complained about the rude woman and David the manager was very apologetic. I always have great service from him.
Good customer service. The staff saw I was trying to both complete shipping of a package and manage my young kid. The clerk was helpful, taping my package when they saw I had my hands full. I can say (having gone to other UPS Stores) that the staff here definitely tries to make the process painless.
This location has HORRIBLE customer service. It is clear that they focus on money rather than the customer experience. I am a business owner who arrived with 8 boxes to return to a seller. 4 were packaged together and the remaining 4 needed to be bundled. I requested to use their tape and was told we cant do that. When I asked why the response was UPS gets the shipping fee not us, it costs too much to give away tape. I explained that I did not have my wallet. Now, we are talking maybe $0.50 worth of tape to secure the boxes together....none of that made a difference. The sad part is that I have been a regular customer there for 2 years...I will never step foot into that location ever again!!!
The team at the UPS store at the Pan Am Shopping Center is terrific. I drop something off at least once a week, and they are always helpful, friendly and courteous. I don’t hesitate to recommend this UPS store to anyone interested in shipping a package!
I am a military retiree and recently moved to the Fairfax, VA area. Having lived in many states and often have needed to use the services offered by a UPS store, I can confidently say and attest to the excellent service and work provided me at the UPS store #4985. Melissa and David are great folks, professional, respectful of the customer, and overall great to deal with.
My husband and I where eating at Glory Days last night. He tried as I was getting a table to drop off packages. Line was long; a customer had multiple packages that need measuring and labels. There were two employees working and even though the line was growing the second employee made working with bubble wrap in the back of the store a priority. We tried again after dinner. A customer again had packages that need measuring and labesl. The next customer had a stack of Christmas Cards that she was sending out individually. Mind you the small store got so crouded there was no oppurtunity to social distance. The customer in line in front of me had prepaids labeles and needed a receipt like us. Also the 4 people behind us had prepaid labels and just needed a receipt. So instead of making the store a safe place and clearing some of the prepaids, the employee continued with the Christmas Cards and the line kept growing. The second employee never came from the back to help clear the unsafe enviroment. We left with our packages and will use our regular UPS Store on Main Street in Fairfax from now on. Lesson Learned.
This is the best UPS store, nice people, plenty of parking, convenient supplies if needed for purchase, perfect. Plus, this is a great location for shopping everything else you may need in the shopping center. Have lunch at the handsome restaurant next door.

This store is very handily located for me, and usually not so busy to make for more than a few minutes wait. Staff are quick, friendly, and helpful with any questions.
My wife dropped off a package around 5pm May 18, 2020 at the 3057 Nutley, Fairfax VA 22031 location and the employees behind the counter were not wearing masks. There is also a review where another customer pointed out they were required to wear masks and the employee responded with a snide comment. Apparently these employees need more training. It seems they do not realize that they are representing the company and the message they are sending is UPS doesn’t care about their customers. That’s kind of a thing they should have learned in Customer Service 101.

Charged me $58 for a next day Air saver letter. Online price was quoted $38. Store manager said that rate is before any surcharges. $20 in surcharges. Complaint is against UPS insane rates. Not the store.
I had a mailbox with this branch for almost 3 years (up until recently), and I couldnt find nicer staff than them. They were absolutely kind (not just with me, but also with other customers as I had observed). David, Brenda, Curt (?) and others; were always kind. I no longer have the mailbox, but when I am in the area, I do stop by to say hi.
Fantastic staff, able to creatively pack and ship so that I didnt have to pay top dollar. Highly recommended.
Got a 14 x 20 framed drawing under glass to California safely for our grandsons birthday. Not the cheapest way to ship, but the most secure.

This UPS store pretty much has it all—returns to on-line vendors, shipping supplies, notarize legal documents and send securely. And service is professional, friendly, and fast.

I went there to print a case study for my class in Black and White. The default for printing is color. I changed it to black and white and the printed . It came out of the color printer. Now mind you all of the pages are black and white. Instead of the manager helping me out, they just made me paid about 14 dollars for 15 black and white pages. The Clark then said I am sorry have a good day. Had she just properly helped me when I got there this would not have had happened. To top it all the manager kept saying that the default for printing is in Black and White, when that is not true. He was very arrogant.
The Fairfax site does a much better job for Arlington than Alexandria.
Unhelpful and impatient. The tattooed employee is rude and says “no” and “it’s your fault/problem” to everything. The very thin blonde woman with a hat made me pay $5 to print a free return label. In contrast, the UPS store in Vienna is 2 miles away. They let me email the label to them and I paid far less for printing a single page. Owner- note that prior reviewers have provided the same feedback. Please don’t reply to this denying it or saying there are signs in the store (there are not) or that Amazon says we will pay at a UPS store. Surely Amazon would take issue with this if they found out.

I only had to go to this store because ups wont leave packages at my apartment, which is incredibly annoying. My experience at the store was great. They were quick with getting my package from the back and friendly.

Very very bad customer service. Today I was there to send a device there were two associates they insult me in their own language and charged me $ 1 for 3 inches plastic tape. I have not seen such associates in any of the stores in VA.

I have found the service to be unpredictable. For the most part, it is good. But I do agree that you are nickled and dimed to death. The worst thing though is the owners arrogant responses to customers complaints in these reviews. Obviously earning 50 cents is more important than truly providing customers with a pleasant, satisfying experience at this establishment. Dont bother to respond, owner.I will continue to use the store because the most important thing is that packages sent from the store get to their destination in a timely mannerundamaged. After all, that is the reason I go to UPS in the first place.

Im with those who have recieved poor customer service at this store. Also the store is more expensive to ship from than others in the area. Go to the Oakton UPS store. Its only a couple of miles away and the customer service is great. I felt ripped off at the PanAm UPS store on top of the fact that I was treated like my business was an inconvenience. Same experience in 2 visits. I will not go back here
This UPS Store does a decent job with shipping packages, but some fees are a bit high. Several reviewers expressed that same sentiment in their reviews. The owner has consistently opted to reply in a very defensive tone, which is a horrible business decision.The owner even accused one reviewer of being a racist, and completely dismissed the reviewers legitimate complaint. The reviewer never claimed that the employees dont speak English; rather, the reviewer noted that an employee said something offensive in the employees native tongue. The owner dismissed this complaint by stating that it never happened. How can the owner know that? That is horrible customer service, and is no way to address grievances.To be fair, I provided three stars because The UPS Store delivered my package without a problem. The problem, however, is the owners treatment of customers who have taken their time to express their honest opinions of their experiences.The owners poor judgment has cost another customer because I will not be returning to this location. There are plenty of alternatives nearby. Some advice to the owner: You get more with honey. If youre unfamiliar with that expression, Google it.
After visit the store they frequently send me scam emails and ask me to post review. I find this approach too proactive and bothering.

Looks like the UPS store has really bad work morale and is reluctant to help customers.
Incompetent staff who dont know how to use a tape measure. The employee told me it would cost 14 dollars to ship an envelope, asked the manager and he said it would be 10 dollars. Went back and asked the same employee how much it would be to ship a box and she said 24 dollars, asked the manager and he said 16 dollars....All of her measurements were well over the size of the package.

They wanted me to pay five bucks to print a sheet of paper. Specifically the shipping label that I had on my email. The guy told me either pay five bucks to use the computer they had at the printing station and then pay whatever it was to print it or email the PDF to one of the work accounts for the business and then pay them five bucks to print said sheet of paper. Are you kidding me?
