I just got their meatloaf special entree, absolutely out of this world. The chef Val makes unbelievable dishes with such unique taste. Wonderful staff that gives great recommendations!! Shout out to Carmine for running such a great Italian Fine Foods Store!

I love this place. The real deal. The food is fresh. The deli Always makes these amazing sandwiches and the staff is always curteus.

This is THE place to go not only for sandwiches, but also for meat, especially custom cut orders. I cure bacon at home and got a beautiful pork belly here cut exactly to my specifications. Also, they carry my favorite and hard-to-find olive oil (Partanna). Everyone in the store, from the owner to the guys at the meat counter to the young women at the pastry counter to the cashiers, treats customers with professionalism and respect. A Fairfield County gem.

The only thing positive thing that I can say about this establishment is that the young lady at the register was very friendly. But everyone else was cold. They had a way of making me feel like I didnt belong there. I was there to pick up a Uber order, because of the way that I was treated I wont be ordering anything there or eating there myself.👎

I got a chef salad with old nasty lettuce, no dressing with it potato salad that had under cooked potatoes and chicken salad that was the consistency of baby food. It was my first and last time!!!

They make Dinner entrees(hot or cold),salads, pastas, soups, breads, sandwiches, cheeses, desserts & etc. They also have a variety of shelf items such as pastas, cookies, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, specialty jars of condiments; most of these items are imported from Italy. Stopped by A&S after work to pick up prepared meals for my picky 12 year old. Chicken parm, eggplant parm, and meatballs were a big hit. Large portions, lasted several nights.

Great food, was turned off by the associate at the check out. Clearly was talking/listening to something via Bluetooth ear buds. Older customers in front of me and behind me were trying to make conversations with her while checking out. At a local place you come to expect a more engaged experience.

If I could give more stars I would, A & S is a great representation of great food and service everything all the time.

This is a great place. Food is extremely fresh and priced right for what you are getting. The staff is very knowledgeable and place is super clean considering all the volume that they do. I havent tried anything at A&S that hasnt been better than all of their competitors. Every weekend I drive almost 30 minutes to shop at A&S and look forward to the next weekend to make the trip again. Keep up the great work!!

Ordered a hot porchetta with gravy to go got and ice cold dripping wet sandwich thats completely inedible.Really disappointed you would send this out. Usually sandwiches made like this for a to go order with gravy one would put the gravy on the side...My small window of time to eat has been ruined again.

Called early this morning, placed an order for some chicken cutlets, veal, beef and cheese.....everything was available, order was ready in 30 minutes, ended picking up a bunch of other stuff we needed....during this most difficult of times for our community, it is great to know A&S is there....I have been shopping there for about 10 years and never have walked away anything but most satisfied. See you again soon.

The Best Butcher Store in Fairfield County. Carmine owner and his wife Doreen and sons Donny and Giovanni with all the staff serve with enthusiasm.prepared Foods made daily.Baked Italian dessert. Dry goods, olive oil, vinegar, cheese, one can pick up milk and eggs too. Best Italian Sandwiches. Hot and cold antipasto. Catering available. Cant miss this opportunity. Been in business over 25 years. If there is a line dont leave, they are super efficient with on average 5-6 servers behind deli counter.

My wife and I recommended A & S to everyone for years, and shopped there weekly for their meats, deli sandwiches and specialty dishes but we moved to DC. I recently moved back to CT after her passing and decided to stop in for somethings with some family and everytime a counter guy said whos next I would speak up, raise my arm and every time he would wait on someone else, after I said something after the 6th time I was given a look so I left. I was the only woman waiting at the counter so maybe if I was a man I would have been waited on. Never was I treated like that 10 years ago, but I also did not see one familiar face from the original staff either.

A & S is a great establishment. We’ve been shopping there for years. I love the friendly atmosphere & the food. I’m glad they can bring the great tastes from my hometown of Brooklyn.

If youre trying to lose weight DO NOT go there, everything is SO delicious. The subs, the pastries, the meats and all the prepared foods are out of this world. Very friendly staff that make you feel at home... Highly recommended.

If I could give A&S more than 5 stars, I would. I love coming here when I am able to. I love the environment and everyone there is extremely nice. I love the sweet and hot sausage that they sell here. They do have rainbow cookies in there little bakery section and thats just a plus for me, those are my favorite Italian cookies. I highly recommend that if people are in Fairfield, they should stop by this place. You will not be disappointed!

First time there - amazed at his busy they are. So many people cant be wrong! Bought sausage patties 3 weeks ago and they were the absolute best Ive ever had! Have been back twice already just because I craved them! Absolutely the best - have got to try!

My family used to go here all the time. Everyone was always nice until an incident with one of the managers. They said something that was not appreciated which is why we stopped shopping here. Other than that, everything else is fine.Some of the prices could be adjusted. I am not paying almost $8 for a half gallon of milk.

Most excellent place for top quality meat. There is no better place for beef, chicken, or sandwiches. The pasta is good, and the catered food is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Used to be a great place for sandwiches, they loaded up the meat and sauce and the italian special was to die for. Now it has a small amount of meat and the sandwich is half the weight. Also completely missing the balsamic l dressing. Very dissapointing as I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember. Will not be returning.

Great quality and price for a grab and go dinner. The eggplant parm and the chicken parm were excellent. A wedge of fresh parmesan and the tomato, cucumber & red onion salad were also delicious.

Wow, I wish I lived closer to this place! Walked into a beautiful deli totally stocked with all sorts of ready to go dishes, tempting baked goodies and an absolutely terrific deli. There was a long lunch line but they were taking my order in no time, very efficient!!Will return as soon as I can to try another specialty sandwich :)

Lived in that area all my life, from day one A+S opened they have excelled and improved every day. A super friendly deli with super friendly and helpful staff, fabulous Italian foods, ready made meals, meat and deli counter, fresh baked amazing breads, fresh yummy milky mozzarella, deserts, catering, they do it all and do it right, the Italian way. I cant tell you how much I miss this place since moving away 3yrs ago, but whe I visit, this is my first pilgrimage. Ask to meet Carmine, a sweeter guy youll seldom meet.

I had a huge family party and knew I would run out of time cooking other dishes . I called A&S to make a few things for me . The lasagna, sausage and peppers, Broccoli Rab and Italian pastries were out of this world! The service is the best ! Thank you A&S, you never disappoint !

Their food is fantastic especially the fresh mozzarella. It usually takes a while to be served (especially on the weekends) but try their sandwiches; a great deal and delicious options. We only wish they had seating available!

Best place in town, I go there every week, Chicken Cutlet with fresh mozzarella and Russian dressing is so good, everything there is fresh. A&S lets you order for pick ups to which is helpful, the one flaw is that they take forever, overall this is the best place for lunch in town

True Italian Market! Many places around the country call themselves Italian Markets, but from Los Angeles to D.C., I havent found anything that comes close to A & S. Of course A & S sells everything that you would expect from an Italian Store (e.g., proscuitto di Parma, cannollis, etc.), but you can also get fresh tomato sauce that is properly made, braciole, proscuitto bread, hot sopresetta, capicola, sausage & rapini, fried eggplant, dry sausage, sfogliatilla, etc., etc., etc. The people who work there are very friendly and professional. Mangia!
