Best deli in CT! The deli is family owned and they care about the customers! Fresh deli meats, awesome steaks, and the best ground beef around. The new location is beautiful with exceptional parking! Lunch time sandwiches are delicious!

I’m a native Bridgeporter who has moved from the area and the one place I can’t replace living in another area of CT is Sorrento’s. I always went there for my sausage bc they made the best. I have been getting sausage from public market in Middletown which was pretty good but still not as good as Sorrento. My point is that even though I live about an hour from Fairfield I’ll be driving down there to get the best sausage anywhere nearby.

The lunch sandwiches are delicious! I won’t admit to how many times a week we sometimes get lunch here, but suffice to say, it’s good! The chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatball parm, Italian with the works, etc. are so tasty. It’s extremely reasonably priced for what you get.They also have a deli which has great quality food, again for reasonable costs. Recommended!

They are an Italian importing store. I get all my goodies there. Great pepperoni, Italian table cheese,breads,marinated olives,cold cuts meats, roasted red peppers with garlic. Marinated octopus. Lots of other goodies throughout the store. They had a store in Bridgeport and I followed them to Fairfield. These guys are great. Oh the soppressato you can get sweet or hot. The hot is best. I can go on but youre better off going there. They have bread from Arthur Avenue NY

I have been coming to this place (at OG location in Bridgeport) for YEARS with my grandmother. I remember early 2000s going there and the friendly faces behind the counter greeting my grandmother with such love. I felt the same way returning there 10 years later since my last visit, after visiting her grave near by. The ironic spin, they opened their new Fairfield location 1 block away from where she lived for 30 years. I will bring my future children here to experience the Italian magic just as I have growing up. Bravo on such a beautiful nostalgic shoppe!

This place is it! Get your cold cuts,( deli meats/ cheeses) at a much better price than regular supermarket sale prices...and Italian groceries ..as in : specific items with Italian brand names that you cant find just anywhere....( Unless youre in Italy) ...a lots of meats cut to order...a true meat market/ butcher these guys are!

I grew up in bpt shopping at sorrentos on main .the deli meat is cut fresh and always top quality heres to another 50 years at the new location.

Ordered 4 salads. Ive never seen less effort put in a salad. 99% lettuce, an olive or two, a cherry tomato, a couple cucumber slices, and 6 TINY pieces of prosciutto - thats it. I wouldnt even serve these in my house. Threw them out. Went elsewhere. Very disappointing.

This market just moved into its new space, but it still looks like a storage container instead of a store, which is not an appetizing look for food. The layout of the store is haphazard, but even worse, the deli counter just looks tired and old. No appetizing prepared foods, no pops of color except for product labels on shelves, no seeming rhyme or reason to how the store is organized. If they are going to even try to compete with A&S for business, they really need a designer to come help them make the counters and displays more appetizing: right now its like walking into an Italian bodega. The staff were friendly and helpful, but based on what I ate (the mozzarella had no flavor and the pesto didnt have much more) and how the place looks, I would not likely return.
