This place is so legit! Ive been shopping here for over 10 years, anytime Im visiting NYC I make a point of stopping here on the way back north (I live 5 hours away). The dried sausage spicy or regular is the most amazing thing ever.

Weve been shopping here for at least 12 years, starting with their old Manhattan location and now whenever we are in CT we make a point of stopping by. We recommend the biscuits, fried pork rinds, fried duck skin ( when they have it ), meatloaf, dry sausages, poppy seed pastry. And this is just a fraction of the good things they have at the store. And its always a treat to see Laszlo himself.

I had gone to this market growing up when they were on the Upper Eastside in Manhattan. They are the absolute best Hungarian market in my opinion. My grandparents were from Hungary & they loved it this marker as well. The service, selection & quality was and still is superb!!! I was incredibly upset when they closed in Manhattan, but Lazlo has ensured that the customer service and attention to quality is a priority.There is absolutely no doubt that this is the superior market for authentic Hungarian food.

If your Hungarian or Not this is the place to go...they have alot of products and fresh meats...you can also find your Hungarian spices...I was raised 💯 % Hungarian and they have all the fantastic food and sweets I grew up with...Im first generation American...you guys Rock...Happy New Year!!!Jules

Great little market. Butcher makes his own sausages,franks, bacon, etc. Lots of Hungarian canned foods, fresh paprika, breads. Best keilbasza, his own as well as Bende. Dont pass this place up if you like meat and authentic foods. I make a point to stop whenever Im in Fairfield. Not too many places like this left.

We LOVE this place. We live over an hour away and periodically make a trip down...my husbands family is Hungarian. I love the salami.

Lazo I believe is his name was beyond generous giving my husband and I samples as it was our first time there. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted better bologna. The sausages and kielbasa are delicious. Will be going back here very soon

Fabulously delicious authentic Hungarian fare, great quality, wide selection, reasonable prices and fantastic service. It doesnt get any better than this unless you go to Budapest - and maybe not even then.

I didnt come for the meat, for I heard they have far more... which is true. They have many products from Europe such as cheese. It is a bit bigger than the Polish Deli in Darien.
