They took care of the recall very well. In process said I needed calibers, rotors and pads on all 4 brakes. Less than 1% left all around. Car has 62,000 miles. Took it to a local car repair. Front pads had 10% left and rears 25%. Recommended replaces pads ONLY on front, reevaluate rears in fall, depending on how much I drive.

This has been the worst service experience I have ever had. I brought in my sonata for a diagnostic check because my car wouldn’t turn on which I think has nothing to do with the battery and a warranty fix on my axle. I was told that I was second in line when I dropped it off but some how it took seven days to fix, so like any normal person during that time I would call to check and my call would intentionally be ignored or the operator would answer then hang up or answer and transfer me to the service department without even saying hello. Also I have a recall that needs to be done and which is scheduled for a different day which I have told them three times that I don’t want to change the service date for the recall and they still try to do it when “they want to” without telling me which cost more time as if I can afford not having my car. Now my car is supposed to be finished and they tell me that I have an $50 deductible when initially I was told that everything was covered and I wouldn’t have to pay anything. It’s clear to me that this place is only about selling cars and not maintaining a customer relationship after the initial deal is done. There’s absolutely no way my buying a Hyundai again!!!I have no confidence that my car is fixed, I read a review today where someone had electrical issues that caused their car not to start and was draining the battery and Hyundai Service Department told them that it was the battery so honestly after this experience I thinks it’s going to be the same. I’m about to spend $150 on a battery that I think won’t even be the issue. If someone happens to read this go somewhere else they do not care about you! And if you’re someone from Hyundai you need to make some immediate changes to your customer service experience because this is unexceptionable.
