Awful customer service. They have my car for over 2 days for something minor as replacing coolant sensor. No communication on when the car will be ready, I have to keep calling them to get updates. No one return your call. I made a mistake on buying extended service there. Cant wait for it to be over so I can take my car elsewhere.They DO NOT care to communicate so you can make alternative arrangements. I have to cancel all my appointments for 2 days. Stuck at home with no form of transportation.TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They don’t appreciate your business.
Bought my Rover from this dealer. I have been very disappointed at the service dept. Multiple times I have left a message which is never returned. Took three visits to get the car repaired correctly for the same problem. I then returned to the dealer for additional service and again it took more than one visit to fix the issue.
I contacted this dealership because they were listed on the Carfax of a Land Rover I am interested in buying. According to the Carfax, the vehicle was serviced 5 times by Jaguar Land Rover Fairfield. I supplied them with the VIN but they told me they would not release the service info unless I was the vehicle’s owner. So according to them, I had to buy the vehicle first before I can find out what was repaired on it. (Typical Bureaucrats) This is BS because other repair shops on the Carfax shared repair information about the vehicle with me. I gave them two stars because the two people I chatted with were pleasant.
Dan was my sales person and he was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable and was pleasant to deal with. At the end of the day were able to make a deal and the transaction went very smooth. I’d strongly recommend using him.

Outstanding Dealership. I purchased my first Range Rover Sport in 2014 and loved everything about it. It was my dream car. I live 50 miles away in Litchfield and they would come and pick up my car and leave me a loaner, then return my car when service was completed. I stopped in 2 weeks ago to have my car checked and while waiting in the coffee area Cheryl Huse asked if I needed anything. As we chatted she asked if I would like to see a newer model and I immediately fell in love with it. In one day, with Cheryls immense help, I was able to be back in 2 days and drive away in my new car. The staff was amazing and worked so quickly to complete the sale. The service of picking up and leaving a loaner is the best convenience a customer could possibly get. I just drove the 50 miles to come back, instead of having someone pick my car, to thank everyone here, especially Cheryl, Dave and Martin.

I picked up my new 2021 Jaguar F Pace about 2 weeks ago and I am OBSESSED. Joe Catanese, Robert Gryglewski and Marco Onelli made the sales experience seamless. My boyfriend and I were considering 2 or 3 other vehicles in this class and once we drove the redesigned 2021 model, R-Dynamic, we were sold; we decided we didnt even need to drive anything else. Tyler in Sales answered a question about the Defender that I was unable to get a clear answer on Land Rover’s website. He really seems to understand this vehicle and the differences in the packages and what each year has for standard and optional items.
No option for zero stars? I have nothing negative to write about the sales team but the service team is terrible - poor communication, poor management, zero follow through but worst of all, they’ll scam you.I can give a half dozen examples but the most recent was late last year, I had a tire replaced along with some other work done. Only until it was time for me to change my other tires, was I told, that the newest tire that FF LR replaced, was not only the wrong model but the wrong size. Moreover, having the wrong size and tread is bad for all wheel drive transmissions. (Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Weather 55s instead of the Pirelli Scorpion Zero 50s) yet never told and I paid for the more expensive one’s.They even admitted in a recent email, that the entire dept. was revamped due to the inconsistent, poor customer service. That said, not much has changed even with new people in charge. They just really don’t care. They never pick up the phone and no one ever calls back. Today, I go a bit farther to service my LR4. Albeit it’s more inconvenient but I’ll never go back to FF Land Rover again.

I would not recommend this dealership. Its been over 2 years of zero communication. My car was kept for months on end for not completing repairs properly properly. The service repair men do not check there work. My car came back with repercussions of their repair work 6 times. Managers do not call you back and when you call it to express a concern you are made to feel like you are wasting their time. Also the service manager was a big concern to all this and now hes not working there any longer but the service is just even worse. When I informed that I was going to the Hartford branch the manager said Listen I totally get it, I understand you had a lot of legitimate concerns. I run a business too, why wouldnt they make it right....? I have no words.My new experience in a week has been amazing with Hartford, they have separate service advisors, salesmen that want to speak with you and receptionist that are pleasant and knowledgeable. I was able to watch my repair advisor do a full video analysis on my car emailed right over to me as well. I could go on for ever but its not worth it. If you want to have zero customer service with bad repairs and feeling belittled then call Land Rover of Fairfield because thats their clientele only.

Awful experience with the Service department. People seem nice enough, but they really took me for a ride. I originally called because the key fob seemed dead on my 2010 LR 2. Turns out after I had the car towed there, it was actually the battery that was dead. OK, thats fine, but I was charged $199 for a new battery and $158 for an hour of labor (really to change a battery?) and then on top of that was charged $11 as a miscellaneous fee not explained. When I asked what the fee was, I was told it was a standard shop charge for things like driving the car into the service bay!! Anyway, when I had my son drive me to the dealer the next day to pick up the car would not start because the battery was dead!! Turns out someone there had left the lights on all night. But the head of service told me, No problem, well just pull it into the shop and install a new battery at no charge in 15 minutes. Interesting, so the night before it took an hour (at $158 an hour), but when it was their fault it takes just 15 minutes to fix? But that is not even the worst of it. When I get home, it turns out the key fob doesnt work to open and close the doors anymore. When I called back to speak with Ariel in Service (who seemed not to remember the whole incident from the prior day), she told me it was likely not the key fob but a cable issue that would likely cost $1,500 to fix. And in order for them to know for sure, they would have to do an electrical diagnosis on the car, which would cost $380.00. At this point, I knew I was being conned, so I called Land Rover of Darien, and the guy in Service (very polite and professional) told me it was most likely just a key fob battery issue (a simple watch battery) and that I could bring in the key and someone could change it out for me. If that didnt work, he said they could re-program the key for me on the spot. What a scam the Service department at Land Rover Fairfield is!!! I will never deal with them again, and I recommend anyone reading this tell everyone else the same message!!!!
I just wanted to say it was truly a pleasure dealing with Land Rover of Fairfield. I just leased a 2020 Range Rover Hybrid. The entire experience was as painless as possible. My initial contact with Ryan (owner) was very helpful and informative. David my (salesperson) was on point from start to finish and he even personally delivered the car to my home while I was out of town. Finally Eric (sales manager) made dealing with the paperwork a piece of cake. I wish all car dealers could take a lesson from these guys!
Went in for service on my 2018 Velar and came out purchasing the car of my dreams, a 2020 Range Rover Sport. Mike Kaesmann and the team went above and beyond to find me the perfect car with the exact specifications I was looking for and had it shipped to their dealership within a few days. They made the process seamless and easy and I will go nowhere else for my Range Rover needs. Even afterward they made sure to follow up to make sure I was pleased with my car and everything was running smoothly. Most definitely 5 stars!
Really enjoyed dealing with team. They were very fair in terms of pricing. Super attentive. When i walked in the GM helped me because the rest of the team was busy. Didn’t want us to wait. This compared to another Land Rover dealer that could have cared less - made us wait, felt rushed so he could leave and never followed up. Made a great suggestion about financing that i had never thought about before. They also sent a person to our house a week after we bought the car to make sure we knew how to use everything.I have purchased over 50 cars in my lifetime. This was definitely one of the best experiences i have had.
First off, great service from the gentleman who sold us our vehicle but it has been all downhill since then.8 days after taking my car home, I was getting onto the freeway and noticed that my car won’t go above 40mph. To add to this, my 15 month old was in the back of the car so fear is mounting at this point that we would end up in an accident or get stuck on the road. Mind you, this is a brand new, over 80k car.I call the sales rep and was able to get some help from him which involved pulling over, turn off the car and let it sit for a few mins then restart, which we did and it worked, thank God. Car was taken in, reset done and we were on our way. Fast forward to October, another issue arises. My brake light is out, not sure how long so I call and basically, 5 days later, still waiting to hear from them about service for my car. I had to call Land Rover headquarters to get them to send me to another dealership.Now I’m not sure if there is an underlying reason why they are handling my case like this, they have my demographics so take from that what you may but I’m appalled that such a prestigious car brand would neglect customers especially when it’s due to an issue stemming from a faulty vehicle.Let me state again, brand new car because I was advised against getting a used range due to electrical issues, the irony...
Very happy with our 2019 Discovery. Unfortunately, my wife got a flat tire and, since I was away, called Land Rover. People are nice, but it’s not the right kind of call to them. Didn’t originally have a loaner and Took 2 days to get the new tire. They offered a loaner on the 2nd day and ultimately got it done a few hours early. So would say, overall got it done, but not the right kind of call to LR.
Fast, easy and well done under warranty. The loaner I received was in mint condition and fun to drive as well. The service team was friendly and easy to work with. I will be back.
Brought my Ranger Rover V8 Supercharged in for the annual service and to get fixed a malfunctioning rear hatch. Everything was fixed perfectly! I will definitely continue having my SUV serviced here. -Mark

Zero stars should be an option. Giving one star overstates my experience and inappropriately tilts the average score.True story... Purchased my third Range Rover in July 2015, a fully-loaded SuperCharge, from this dealership. Three and a half years and 70K miles later, I brought the truck in for service because the engine light was on. $5000 to repair the suspension. Two weeks later, the engine light was on again so I was told to bring the vehicle back. Two days later, they called to say they cant start the car and its a total loss. Engine blown. A week before, they offered $30K on trade-in and now its zero. No attempt at all from dealer or Land Rover to try to make this right or even a little less painful. After three Range Rovers from this dealership, Im done with Land Rover Fairfield and Land Rover period.
Purchased a CPO that within days we were unhappy with and wanted to exchange/trade for another vehicle in inventory. Sales department did not return emails, or phone calls. Ultimately,we dealt with LR Hartford they were extremely helpful and able to get us into a vehicle that we love!

15k mile Service was conducted, however the Paint Protection Film (PPF) was damaged during this time. After notifying them of the damage, including pictures, I was told that it was not them, and Perhaps this happened while you had the car washed. So, 100% denial was the only response I have had. Interestingly, I have never had the car washed - always washed it myself, by hand, at home. No damage was noted at check in, and so far (10 days) I have had no response to my requests to check the video from the check in bay. A very disappointing experience overall.
I have had excellent service from Land Rover Fairfield. Due to my schedule, they needed to come pick up my vehicle and leave me a loaner. This was done in a timely fashion and there was no inconvenience to me.Mike kept in close contact with me while my service was being performed so there were no surprises when the service was complete. I have been nothing but pleased with my experiences with them.
I worked very closely with many of the illustrious employees of Fairfield Land Rover. Ryan, the owner, recognized early that I was a demanding client! As such, he passed me on to his “ car builder”, Rob Dolyak. I can’t say enough about Rob’s performance. His dedication and enthusiasm are exceptional, every company would be lucky to have such a young man. Both the showroom and the service center are beyond compare, and I have seen quite a few. They searched and found the car of my dreams, they completed all the necessary paper work( thanks Leo) and gave me a thorough run down on the car, then off I traveled in my gorgeous vehicle. I highly recommend this business, you won’t be disappointed!
If I could give half a star I would. No recommendation here. Brought my car in for repairs on a Wed and waited for loaner .. fri they said they had one. This is during covid, they were dropping off. Waited all day -at 4:05 texted they would drop off, at 5:05 nothing. Called they closed at 4 pm. Emergency line told me they tried calling twice but didn’t respond. No they didn’t. They had correct number cause they texted but no calls came in - verified by my Verizon bill. Left me hanging. Lies lies lies. Had Belligerent conversations with mgr on duty that night and was told owner/ president was made aware of situation. Had to go take care of 89 yr old mother with covid early next so I rented a car myself-4 hours later at 9pm had an offer to get get loaner next day, too late. Then asked them to also service car since it was indicated. Got car back a week later, no service done and filthy, was completely covered in pollen. Never heard from owner / president. This was after having to bring the car in over 13x for computer malfunctions ....just made my appointment in Darien.
Just got my second Range Rover because of Chris Wayne and the manager Ted. From my first time at the dealership, I was treated with respect and consideration. I’d been to other Land Rover dealerships closer to my home but had not felt the level of service I deserved. As a member of USAA, I contacted them for a list of their preferred dealers; Jaguar Land Rover Fairfield was named. When I thought I would just turn in my original lease, Chris showed me a new model and once again, I decided on another vehicle from the dealership. I’m more than happy with my selection and I feel like the sales team sees me as family as I see them.

I can’t say enough bad things about this dealership and the circus it is. I put a deposit on a truck and 4 days later was called in a panic by the sales manager. “They sold your car”. It took me calling the sales manager hours later to get my deposit back for him to respond. His comment? “This happens all of the time” “you don’t need to speak to me in an angry way”. Never once - “I’m sorry let’s make it right”. I finally heard from the owner days later after I posted a review on the dealership. The dealerships solution was to find a car in another state, Take it apart and make it like the car I put a deposit on (change wheels, letters). and also settle on options the original car had. The whole process was a circus and made me feel completely unvalued. Turns out the owner sold MY car to his friend and pulled the rug from underneath a potential customer. I took my business elsewhere and I’m happy I did. Nobody needs to be treated this way, beware of this dealership and the games being played.

I seems like they did a good job with the service, but we still have questions about our bill, shouldnt things like oil be included in and oil change and other items as well. There was a ding on my car when I picked it up that wasnt there when I left it with you. Staff was too busy to come out and even look at it.

Ok service but communication was not great. For a routine service have not been communicated when to expect my car which was not very convenient. Also when I asked for additional questions on the seats (leather issues) was not offered help and was ignored.

They are always accommodating with scheduling, go out of their way to ensure that Im happy, they are honest and fair in pricing, and they keep me informed regarding needed services. They even delivered my vehicle back to me after a recent scheduled maintenance. I cant say enough good things about this dealer. Ive tried other specialty service shops since my truck is out of warranty, but I never saved any money and was without my vehicle for long periods. Ive purchased 3 LRs from this dealer, previously in Milford, and will gladly be purchasing my next from them.

ZERO STAR!!! What a mistake bying a Range from this dealer. TERRIBLE service. About two months ago, We dropped off our car for service and they offered to deliver the car back. Their driver was lost for over 3 hours. His excuse was that he didnt know how to use the GPS. I was ready to call the cops because I thought my car was stolen. It was unreal to me that a Range employee wouldnt know how to use the GPS.Now today second time needed service.They are busy to answer your call. I had to call several times to get someone to help. Once we did get someone on the line, they said they have no loaners. We wasted the day trying to get the car serviced. They offered to tow the truck. We agreed. It is almost 11 pm and we just got a call from the towing company saying that they dont know what to do with the keys because they were not given instructions on where the drop off keys is. Absolutely unacceptable. I have two Porsches and I have never experience such an awful service. So unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. I will never ever buy a range again!! Big mistake!!

Questionable service, I would be weary of the repair service they offer.I got my CPO back after a warrantied radiator repair. That was fine did a once over, found that several clips used to secure the mesh grill to the bumper were broken; several more than the one before.They cant be replaced because the clips are part of the bumper. Also removed toe hook shroud to find that 2 pop it fasteners were rolling around; suggesting the bumper is not mounting properly, As well as scuffing the bumper in the corner. I do want to say they are remedying the situation.

Purchased a Range Rover Sport from Peter Molony and the overall experience could not have been better! He was very personable, non pretentious, and made the purchase enjoyable. I received a fair deal for my trade in and felt the price of the Rover was a great value.My only disappointment already is with the service department and my service advisor Bobby. He lacks the proper communication skills I expect from a premium brand. My car was in two weeks ago to evaluate the need for a replacement piece on the passenger side roofline. When I got the cat back, I noticed that the technician had scratched the side of my car. I took pictures and voicemailed Bobby asking for his email so I could send him the pictures, and have yet to receive a reply. I’m told the piece was ordered, but am still awaiting any update..I had purchased a new 2015 RRS from them and experienced excellent service and communication for the past four years.. I was hoping for that same level of service with my new vehicle.In all, I think it’s a great dealership, but the Service Dept now is still in question.
Drove up here from South Jersey (unofficial 51st state) to meet with Mike K after we requested a car be held for us. I was honestly surprised to see a dealer stick to their word! When we got there, the vehicle was still there, waiting for us! Mike K, Ted and Leo all worked with us to get the deal done! This place went above and beyond any expectations we had heading into a high dollar dealership. They worked with us all the way from start to finish and actually listened to what our concerns were! Happy to say it was truly a pleasure to do business with this establishment and wish they were a little closer to home so that we could use them every time we were in the market for a vehicle! THE WORST SERVICE CENTER EVER. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I had to go in for my Axel which should be covered by warranty and they said that since there was a clamp [which has nothing to do with the Axel] that wasnt Range Rover they couldnt fix the car. That since I had my brakes done somewhere else they dont know if that person touched my Axel as well [the person who did my brakes was my best friend]. I went back and forth with them for weeks to the point where the owner finally reached out. I politely asked the owner if he could look into where they got the car from and if the previous owner had done work on the car and he said that he would follow up on Monday. I gave him until Friday and still did not hear back. I called, no answer. I called almost every day for 3 weeks and left numerous voicemails- even corporate called him and he wouldnt return their messages either. Dont get your car serviced here at all. They tried to charge me $1,700 for my Axel. I took it to a different dealership and they couldnt understand why they were charging me and told me it was 100% covered.
Just a horrible experience from start to finish. I am stuck with a car I do not like.. there has been no customer service or anyone that would call back or email back. Please go to another dealership of you want a good experience.
They are an amazing dealership. I had the pleasure of working with Robert and Leo. Everything I wanted went smooth. I wanted a very limited Range Rover and Robert found the exact one I wanted. I started the process right before July 4th. For Robert and Leo the upcoming holiday did not matter. They wanted me to get the SUV right away. They had it transported and ready for pick up the day before July 4th. I highly recommend this dealership. I will be back in the future. Ryan you have an amazing team. Thank you guys.

Brought my 2016 Discovery Sport in for an oil change and the eco start feature was inop. In addition there were six software upgrades necessary and they needed more time. I was given a new Range Rover for the day and was told to keep it overnight. Around 5pm they called and said they would deliver my car to me which is almost an hour away from the dealership. Yea, they want the loaner back but considering my drive the next day thats incredible customer service.
Dealership actually refused to sell me a RR HSE because I wanted to pay in cash. They claimed some internal documentation protocol and demanded I turn over 3 months of financials. They did however suggest i finance the transaction. To say this was the most insulting statement to come from any business was an understatement. The way I was treated was horrible. I emailed the sales person several times and after very decent emails back and forth he just stopped replying to my requests.... Just stopped - not even an apology for the way I was treated. I highly suggest purchasing your vehicle elsewhere. They are not worth the hassle

I would not recommend service at this facility based on my experience. The staff was unprofessional and unresponsive and to this day I have not heard from the dealership even after writing a letter to the dealership as well as to Land Rover of NA trying to get an explanation of what actually happened to my vehicle after turning it over to the Land Rover staff.
Since I lived near, decided to try LR Fairfield for just a reg sched maintenance. Long story short...received truck back with leaking trans fluid. Had to get truck towed. Many issues before/after, my Range Rover was not the same. Elena Miller (Service Guide) poor service & Moya Singh (Fixed Ops Mgr) doesnt answer/return calls. Overall form this lux dearlership... unprofessional service & no customer care.
