Cody, Phillip, and the other technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and can explain what needs repaired in common terms.Ive taken 4 different cars to them for various services and have always been satisfied. Theyve taken care of our cars for 14 years.Prices are competitive with other shops.I highly recommend them.

I used this business last year for a tire balance and alignment on my car and SUV. All my wheels turned out looking like the images attached. The wheels and alignment were done so that my car drove great but the way they attached the weights irritated me. As you can see they ground down my freshly down finish to attach the weights. To be fair the owner did offer to have my car brought to a paint shot to have the inside of the wheels color matched. In the end I decided not to go down that road and live the the grinds and will eventually refinish the wheels the correct way. There was no ownership from the shop owner on what they had done. The couple conversations we had were that is just how we do it, I tell my guys to get vehicles in and out as fast as possible. Maybe I did not bring my vehicle to the correct shop that would take their time to do the job right.

We are from Louisiana and had a blowout. This place was super fast and super friendly!! They were able to get us a new tire from the warehouse and put on within 45 minutes!! Would recommend this place to anyone around!!! Y’all are awesome!!

I love this place because the employees are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Every time I go there within 15-20 minutes, my vehicle is in and being worked on. It is also a very affordable repair and tire shop.

Just needed my wheels torqued, waited 5-10 minutes and they did it quick free of charge.

Was impressed by the service and person that fixed my two flat tires today. A heck of a time to have a flat when it is so cold out and not having a spare. Two new tires a spare and a back tire mounted and balanced.

May be an alright auto repair place but all staff needs to know what they can fix.I called and asked for them to fix a problem with my vehicle and set up an appointment.Called the day before to verify my scheduled appointment.Everything was set in place.Called back to ask where the key drop box was at and luckily a Supervisor answered the phone.Looked me up and said sorry I think you spoke to one of my tires and brakes guys.We dont fix what you need to be fixed.Dissapointment.All staff needs to know what your company can fix or dont answer the phone and schedule appointments.

These guys are all incredible!! Excellent customer service, and caring attitude from everyone who talked and worked with us. Front desk people were awesome and on top of our needs!! We had a unique situation, double blow out on a 5th Wheel, they had the supplies to quickly get us repaired. They even went on to see if we needed anything else for service, so we went ahead and did an oil change, which we would normally do ourselves. Absolutely would recommend this shop to anyone needing help with their vehicles/tires/oil.A huge Thank you to everyone who helped us in our time of distress!!

Dakota Tire is the best hidden gem Ive ever found. Theyve worked on my Pontiac G6 and my Tahoe, very thorough and quick with getting the work done. Cheapest Ive found yet and you get better service too!!

They are there for you when you least expect needing a mechanic. They dont jibber jabber around the issue... straight forward and to the point. Prices are spot on. Its like taking your car guts to the spa.

Stopped in to have them check out a slow leak on a tire. Fixed the tire remounted and balanced the tire for very little money. Expected to pay a lot more.

Fast affordable service

Chose this place from great reviews here on Google and was not disappointed. Service was incredibly quick, called at 12:30, and was back on the road by 4:30. Staff was wonderful, very friendly and very professional. Prepared me for the worst and surprised me with great news. Could have easily taken me for a ride with unnecessary work (could have insisted on replacing my brake calipers but didnt) but instead saved the parts and got me up and running for half the cost potentially quoted. A very positive experience, I would highly recommend this shop and will be coming here for all tire and brake work in the future.

Traveling in from out of town and had a tire that would not maintain pressure. Called at 8, said come in at 930 and well work you in, and I was out the door by 1015 for $20 with a fixed tire, ready to drive back to Kansas the next day. Great service.

Cody and his staff are the best! They never make-up repairs or fix things that dont need it to jack up the price. This is the only place I will take my vehicles for oil changes and repairs.

I love both locations for Dakota Tire. This was my first time at this one since we needed an alignment this time. Theyre the only place I found that will charge a lesser amount if its just your front that needs aligning so it was considerably less expensive.

My daughter goes to school at NDSU and she was having mechanical issues with her car. I live over 250 miles away and had no idea who to call. I was referred to Dakota Tire. Beings I am not from Fargo I was extremely nervous of sending her somewhere. But Cody and Phil went above and beyond getting her car going again and on their customer service !!!!Our dually pickup is going to need new tires soon. They are staying in the KMart Plaza after Kmart closes here in December. They do a good job, can be expensive.

Left my car with them and when I got it back, my 50$ radio transmitter was gone. They didnt do anything about it even after I asked them to reimburse me. Wish they wouldve at least locked my car so nothing would be stolen since its in a sketchy neighborhood. Will not be going back.

After reading these amazing (fake?) Google reviews, I went to them after my pickup started running and idling rough. I scheduled a wheel alignment and a diagnosis. They called me up saying the issue would be $220 to fix (on top of the $45 fee to hook up their OBD scanner), but I turned them down because I didnt have the money for it. I drove it back home (with a crooked steering wheel after their $70 professional alignment job), and took a look myself.Turns out there was a *tiny* piece of metal screen stuck in a solenoid, and they wanted to charge me $130 for a part I just ordered myself for $50 with shipping, and $85 labor to swap the part out. Keep in mind, they already *did* the labor; he pulled the solenoid out and put it back in. It took me 2 minutes to repeat this (One bolt holding it in, didnt have to remove any other components). They also wanted to charge a $3 shop supplies fee. Do I really need to buy them the rags they wipe their hands with?The shop itself was very messy and cluttered, which left a very poor impression from the start. I traveled to their business wanting to love the place, and hoped they would go out of their way to make a new friend and a new customer. Instead, Im stuck with a mis-aligned steering wheel, and the impression of narrowly avoiding being robbed blind.They couldve pulled the piece of screen out, let me know what the issue was, and that I should fix it as soon as I can afford it. At least the pickup wouldve been running smooth again, and they wouldve had a happy customer that trusted them. Or maybe even offer free labor if I bought their $130 part, because I already paid them $45 labor to do a diagnosis?Instead they attempted to rip us off with every effort.I called them to inform them of their poor steering alignment job, and they want me to bring my vehicle back to them. Im sorry, but after this experience I will never set foot into this shop again.

I took my GMC Envoy to Dakota Tire South University during the bitter winter weather. That’s in addition to other vehicles I brought there for repairs, costing me hundreds of dollars. After they fixed it for an exhorbitant $350, I took it and left my Chevy HHR. Instead of doing all they could to help me, including calling me or towing that very good 2009 vehicle to a safe spot in their yard for $50, and giving me up to a week to pick it, the Manager and Owner called a Towing Company to come and IMPOUND (or Steal) my car, as my reward for going to them. I had to pay $275 to get it back from the towing company. The Manager also spoke to me like a stranger, despite our long standing good relationship.That’s a very inhuman thing to do to a Good Customer like me that has been with them for over 15 years. Sadly, this is the second time they impounded my vehicles.I will NEVER take my Car there again, and will advice all never to leave their cars in their premises, or do repairs with them.

Took it in to get the engine looked at a while back as my car wouldnt start. Found out it was the timing belt. Didnt charge to look at it because I had enough problems on my plate with needing a new timing belt. Been going there ever since.
