Had a great conversation with an employee at Lowe’s about string trimmers, which ended with a recommendation to Home Depot for a better fit for what I needed. Walked in and could not find help. Had two employees try to page someone but gave up and just left me in the aisle. One employee just stared from the desk, knowing I needed help. Horrible service, will not be coming back to this Home Depot. Better luck at Lowe’s or even the Home Depot on 35

The DIY Kids Workshops are so fun and well thought-out! Our kids dont have much exposure to construction or woodworking right now, so they really enjoy doing some out of the ordinary each month. The employees are always helpful and patient with the mass influx of adults and children that descend upon their space to hammer, glue and paint! Today Melissa was no different and my kids enjoyed the Heart Strings project!

Great Home Depot location! It is a bit out of the way for us, so we typically visit the Denton location. However, when out that way we prefer to go to the Flower Mound location. It is super clean, well organized, great products and helpful staff.

If it wasnt for Sam in appliances the rating would be lower. We were looking for a standalone oven range and compared to other stores there were very few on display that we could look at. The one we selected was out of stock and earliest arrival would be December 23rd. We couldnt be without a range that long so Sam talked to us about two others that were similar. He was very helpful with questions and assisting us however he could. Ultimately we found the range at a local competitor for the same price-but when we look at our next appliance purchase we will definitely give this location another try because of the help we received from Sam.

Like all Home Depot locations, youll find almost everything you need to build, fix, or destroy just about anything. The only reason I dont give it five stars is that some of the employees could use an attitude based on customer care. Not broad stroking all the employees, just saying. If a customer asks for something from an employee, and said employee acts like you are bothering him, it doesnt reflect well on himself, and company by association. Prodesk like in most locations could be greatly improved to get the contractors out of there and into the field, wheres there money to be made. Still better than any Lowes by far.

They refuse to deliver appliances for apartments that aren’t on the 1st level. We were told the delivery people would be too lazy to do it, so we went to Lowe’s instead and they delivered a washer and dryer to our 3rd floor apartment with no problems.

Oh man, how many times have I been in this place? I should start just working here... Anyway, this is a good Home Depot that typically has everything I need. The curbside pickup option is really helpful (especially for my wallet since I cant go cruising through the clearance section) and is a nice addition to their services. Thanks COVID! Theyve always gotten my stuff out to me at the designated pickup spots and in the one instance where they missed one of my items, they were apologetic and brought it out to me when I came back.I do wish that they did have a Tool Rental department here, but the Lewisville Home Depot is close enough if you need any rental.

Always challenging to find what you need at this location. Employees seem like they want to help but never give the extra effort and some are challenged with lack of knowledge. Even when they do have an item in stock which they confirm, they cant find it. The excuse is always it must be on the truck, and we are 2 truck loads behind as was my experience today. My experience is the Lewisville location is usually better stocked.

Im so glad we have a Home Depot so close to home. They are always friendly and helpful. I usually ask someone to direct me to what I need as soon as I walk in the store, and if they arent sure where it is, theyll walk with me. If its not where they thought it was, theyll get help from someone else. I love knowing that no matter what, someone will be able to direct me right to what I need ... and they usually know a bit about it, too, so can make recommendations. The convenience of them being about a mile from my home just cannot be overstated!

Anyone thats ever been knows HD has everything. Very competitive prices, well laid out stores and typically helpful knowledgeable staff. All the stores are very similar so it comes down to customer service. The Flower Mound store has a good mix of employees male and female younger and older and they know what they are talking about. Its certainly a well ran store.

Its so frustrating for us senior citizens to try to buy mulch! I bought 30 bags & there was NO ONE to load it. It was all the way in the back of the garden center. I finally asked a guy for help & he said he didnt have a cart. I went out on the parking lot & retrieved a cart then he was nowhere to be found. After about 20 minutes, the checker found someone, but they fussed that I should have ordered it online. I guess customer service is a thing of the past.

Do not order any online ship to store shower pans. It has been 4x the estimated delivery time and they refuse to refund me until they have received the item. The item that ks being shipped to them... ive spoke eith both the pro desk and 1800 number multiple times eith no resolution. Tracking states shipment not rendered by shipper. Time to start a chargeback via my credit card company

In any business, sometimes things are not perfect. And sometimes during pandemics, we might get a little cranky when simple processes do not seem to work well. Lets dont get into the weeds on this one... but rather lets agree that occasionally store manager involvement is needed to get things resolved.I had a couple inconvenient problems in the last few months. I got a little upset over relatively minor issues but, I still think I was right. Nonetheless, I want to give (1) a big shoutout to Kaci (store manager) of the Flower Mound, TX store for resolving an issue for me, and (2) a big excuse me to several associates I may have rubbed the wrong way. (Remember the pandemic?)I think the real discussion here is that people like Kaci make the difference in customer satisfaction, organizational culture and business performance. As far as I am concerned, the absolute best reason to do business with Home Depot is people like Kaci. I have absolute confidence in this young lady and I dont even know her last name.Therefore, I hereby award Favorite Store status to the Flower Mound Home Depot. I suggest you shop there soon, and often.

Home Depot should reconsider its delivery process with Rheem Manufacturing Company, specifically, hot water heaters.An out of stock PROPANE water heater is delivered to your home by Rheem for an additional charge of $75. When Rheem called to deliver it they said their driver didnt feel comfortable driving down our street and if I would meet them at the end of the road, which is over a 1/4 mile from our home! Then what? Carry it on hood of my car? Other 18 wheel trucks come down our two lane asphalt paved street making deliveries and have no problems turning around at end cul-de-dac. So was Google Maps at fault or an unexperienced driver??I asked for a different driver. I asked for the delivery to go directly to Home Depot. After a month of painful back and forth communication between Rheem and Home Depot, a formal investigation found that Rheem lost my hot water heater and no longer has another in stock. Sure they did!! We were without hot water for over a week and called a local repairman to fix our water heater which would have cost the price of a new one. Thanks guys!While all the Home Depot customer service employees were very nice and bent over backwards to help, management at both Rheem and Home Deport Flower Mound were nonexistent, unaccommodating and useless in solving this issue. After two months, the order was canceled and I will take ALL of my home improvement needs elsewhere due to both Rheems and Home Depots incompetence and failure to meet a customers needs.

Great, reliable products and services at a good price. Store is clean and staff usually prompt, helpful, and friendly. Bad issue: Very weak Phone reception at the location which makes it mostly impossible to call somebody and even text somebody while inside the store. The store tries to get around it with Free Wi-Fi, but that also does not work very well - at least they try...

I was very polite and respectful of my actions.I’m thinking about returning the near $200 item I just purchased and buying it somewhere else but I won’t let one person represent your entire store. Trying to get help at this store is nearly impossible. Tried to buy a toilet today. Walked all over the department and then other departments to try to find someone. One employee a department over would not get out of his chair and could not hear me talk. Finally said for me to go look for a person who works in plumbing who I had just told him was nowhere to be found. Left the store with no toilet and a vow to never go back there. Did manage to pick up a spray bottle of disinfectant on my way out, which I paid for at the self-checkouts. Otherwise this rating would be one star. BTW, there were hardly any customers in the store.

Many times Ive gotten help pretty quickly but specifically the other day we had issues with framing job on doors and had to switch out doors after already having one brought down from upper level storage. The assistant manager and another worker named Dave really helped me and made me feel heard and appreciated as a customer. Love my neighborhood Home Depot.

Employees on the floor are very helpful, however there are two employees at the Customer Service desk who are never pleasant to work with when returning items. Please know this review is after numerous visits where these two employees were the individuals assisting us. Their demeanor is not worthy of being behind a Customer Service desk. A smile and courteous behavior is lacking. They would benefit from some type of sensitivity training.

Went into the store to look at a red KitchenAid stove as we are remodeling a kitchen in a new house. This was a floor stock item that was price reduced, but it did have scratches on it. The young man was helpful, said they might take additional off at customer service.Also asked him if they would store it, he said they do this all the time for contractors. We would need it stored until August first, 6 weeks from now. He said they do all the time. He was helpful.Then we went to customer service. This is where the whole thing went down hill.1. Would you take additional off due to the scratches? No.It’s already priced in the scratch and dent area (not what the rep in appliances told us, said it was a display model)2. Can you store it until the first part of August?No.We can only store it for 30 days.3. Ok. So if we have it delivered to our storage unit, is there a fee?No.Ok, so at least this was a “no” we expected.4. So if we do purchase it today, can you extend the return time period from 30 days to 60 days?No.Really? I won’t even be able to put it in our new home until August 1st. Not their problem, but really???Do you hear a theme with this store? “No”I don’t feel like we were asking for anything unreasonable at all. Please store it for 45 days instead of 30. Please allow us an additional 30 days to return it.Nope, Nope, Nope.I would wait two more weeks to buy it to avoid these requests, but it is a floor item that might be unavailable in 2-3 more weeks sadly. But that’s ok.In the end, I will be purchasing the KitchenAid stove, and the matching $1500 vent hood (that I planned to wait until end of July to purchase....at Home Depot as well).We also planned to purchase a package deal of appliances with Home Depot in July.However....now I will be sending my business elsewhere to purchase our.....High End StoveHigh End Vent HoodHigh End RefrigeratorDishwasherMicrowaveFarm sinkFaucetsPullsAnd no telling what else, but I assume it would have been a $20k spend.So....I’m writing this in the parking lot of Nebraska Furniture Mart. I normally go to the Denton Home Depot which I always have a great experience at. Today I was in flower mound and decided to run over there for a couple things. It was terrible. They didnt have paint I needed. They couldnt find an item that their online store said they had 9 of them. The person helping me, just up and walked away.. I wont go back there

Ended up at this HD because the Lewisville HD was out of stock of the item I needed. Online said this HD had 20 in stock. Turns out the manufacturers part number had changed and HD didnt update the price tag info to reflect that. The Lewisville had the product the whole time. Wasted 13 mile drive. The elderly checkout lady was very helpful in trying to get to the bottom of it and apologetic that this had happened to me.

Purchased a vinyl sliding back door from this location. It has been one month today and we still havent even been scheduled to have the door installed. They use a 3rd party company for their installations. Was told they would contact me to schedule the install (never occured)Had to go back to home depot after 2 weeks of never getting a return call to find out who they outsource their work to. Contacted the 3rd party company to be told their assigned installer quit and they needed to re-assign a new installer for my area. Fast forward two more week and no install, no scheduling, no door, no replies.At this point Ill be lucky to either get my money back or have my door installed before christmas. Youd think HD would care more about their customers, but their response is just keep contacting our 3rd party company. I purchased the door from HD, receipt is from HD, invoice is from HD, but they refuse to hold any responsibility. Worst customer experience Ive honestly ever had after spending almost $2k on the door.
