The work shows quality, it is evident that they cared for my truck while it was there, and they were on time with their prediction for work completion.I entered their doors at first for a basic estimate, as I shopped multiple body shops to see how they interacted with me and where I wanted to go. Shawn gave me confidence that Modern Auto Body was the right choice. He made a point of taking a detailed look at my doors, evaluated all potential needs for repair, and provided a thorough estimate...even catching problems that other shops missed (I didnt share their quotes). When it came time to proceed, I was confident that Shawn was going to...and did...advocate for correct repairs, even going back to the insurance adjusters for multiple corrections to their estimates. I dont have to get much body work, but Shawn made it seem so easy and simplified the process. He kept me in the loop, updating me often, and was responsive to any questions I had, usually within the hour. Also, Theresa provides pleasant greetings, is helpful and communicates well to support their team. Between Shawn and Theresa, they even helped me coordinate with my rental car.After comparing with other shops and what they included in their initial estimates, Im glad I went to Modern Auto Body, because Im sure that the job was done right.

I have gone to Modern Auto Body for all of my vehicle body work for nearly 30 years. I did go to other body shops before I learned that I had a choice. Modern Auto Body was recommended to me by my car insurance company. They were fantastic to work with. They worked directly with my insurance so that I hardly had to do any work to get things set up. When I dropped my car of the rental car company was there waiting for me. They got the work done well and right on time. Highly recommend them!

Just came in for what I thought would be an easy fix and was worried I’d get charged an arm and a leg for, BUT these are actual people who get it. They popped the corner of my bumper back in at no charge. I got the service I was hoping for!

Had my car in after getting side swiped. Had the parts needed within the week and only kept my car in the shop for a day before it was ready again. Looked brand new and the final cost was the same as the estimate. Luckily no hidden damage on it. Very quick and professional.

So I love this shop. I am a frequent runner for the motorcycle shop I work for. They are friendly and they do amazing paint work. I also recently found out that they so window tinting. All in all I recommend this shop.

Place did a fantastic job on my 2018 Honda Accord, the fit and finish turned out spot on. I only had to bring it back in once for a seal that was leaking a bit of air (had the driver door and fender repaired). No fuss or anything and they had it back out same day.

Facility is very clean and staff very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Will have work done next week.

Work on car looks good...was completed in time and slightly under budget. However, I was exceptionally dismayed that the staff members of this business are not wearing masks as required by the Governors order during the pandemic. I had to visit the shop 3 times (once for an estimate, once to drop off my car, and once to pick it up), and all three times I was forced to interact with staff members who were not wearing a mask. The receptionist has a mask around her neck which she will put on if someone comes in wearing a mask, but the gentleman who did my estimate, as well as the shop staff I saw in the office, did not wear a mask or even seem to have one on them. This was very disappointing since otherwise I did have a positive experience at the shop.

I had a minor run-in with local wildlife that left my vehicles front bumper (and more) needing work. Modern Auto Body worked seamlessly with both my insurance and the rental car company to address all needs. Needless to say, my schedule was never impacted negatively and the car came out looking fabulous! The entire staff exceeded my expectations; fast, friendly, and very accommodating. Great job!

Excellent repairs to my car after an accident. They were fast, thorough, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Steven was awesome and Teresa was very helpful as well. Immediately felt like this was a place I could trust for repairs, and will definitely be returning in the future if needed.

Unfortunately, I have been to a lot of body shops in my 37 years of life. I have never had an experience that compared to this place. Weekly updates on the vehicle, took time to walk through the damages and show me everything that was taking place. Customer service and final repairs were incredible. And my truck was fully vacuumed and clean upon completion. Truly above and beyond the norm. Highly recommend.

I have had work done on my car twice (from two separate accidents) at Modern Auto Body and I am beyond pleased with both of my experiences! I used to take the recommendation from the insurance company on where to have my repairs done and I would always have to take it back because it wasnt done completely. We recently had our Camry repaired at Modern Auto Body after my wife hit a deer. This was our second experience with auto repair in the last 4 months (we were rear ended in Nov). I purchased custom seat covers for my Mustang . After realizing it was way beyond my capability, Dave and his crew went to work, removing and reinstalling seats and resetting airbags. He even personally drove my car from home to and from the shop! Very pleased and pampered. Several years ago, also repaired and repainted a quarter panel and bumper on my minivan after an accident. Cudos.

Amazing. I was rear ended-- i had never been to modern auto body, but it was recommended by the insurance company-- the people there are extremely friendly and kind. They did amazing work on my car in under a week. They updated me every day, and my car looks better than the day I bought it. I had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend them.

I had a very good experience with Modern Auto Body. I have never had to have a car in the shop before, especially on an insurance claim. They were very helpful throughout the entire process, answering any questions I had. Best of all, the paint looks perfect! I have a pearl paint, and from what I understand, that can be hard to blend.

These guys have fixed every oops thats a gaurdrail I have had, be it a Mercedes, Landcruiser or a commuter vehicle. Recently they fixed my Dads SUV when he had an oops I didnt see that 4,000 pound car crossing in front of me. They helped with the claim and rental car. Not a worry in the world!! Thanks yall!!

Modern Auto Body was the best decision I could have made for my car repair. I needed a new paint job on my hood (the clear coat came off---in large pieces). They gave me the lowest quote ($150 less than the other autobody company I called) and kept me informed of what was happening the entire time my car was being repaired. They were very polite. This is the second time I have been to MAB and Ive left both times feeling confident about the repairs that were made!

I have a 2011 Toyota Venza that was damaged during a windstorm and I wont go through the details, but suffice to say there were multiple scratches on almost every part of the car. Steven Jacobs, the estimator, provided great service and communicated frequently with me providing updates. The car looks brand new. I could not be happier and would strongly recommend Modern Auto Body. This is the second time I have used them.

I would highly recommend this company. They have a great reputation in this area anyway but felt it necessary to give them credit on here as well. They actually did a better job than the dealership in Hagerstown, by far.

My wifes unattended, parked car was hit head on by another driver. The Nationwide Insurance Co gave us the runaround from the 1st call.I called my local Toyota dealer and asked who they recommended to do the body work.Without hesitation, Modern Auto Body was recommended.I called set up an appointment for an estimate then had to fight with 3 different Nationwide adjusters to get the repairs done. Taking them to Court was NO problem for me!Steve@ Modern took control and assurred myself and my wife that the car would be returned as new.It was! For a 2003 Toyota, it look showroom new! It was garaged kept anyway but did have some cosmetic issues. But they were involved in the damaged parts of the car so they looked showroom new!Modern did just an excellant job and made us feel satisfied after the grueling fighting with the Nationwide claims adjuster.Highly recommended!

At the time of my service I had a 2011 Nissan Maxima, I backed out of my garage and scraped the whole rear quarter panel. My car was a dark purple and there was white paint all over it. I was in need of having it removed ASAP. This place fit me in immediately and addressed my concerns. Treated me respectfully and did exactly what I wanted. Such GREAT service! What an amazing experience I had from start to finish.Let me start by saying that no one expects to hit a deer. When you do and your car is damaged, the last thing you want to do is spend countless hours figuring out how it will be repaired, by whom and how long you’ll be without a car. Modern Autobody shop simply went above and beyond.I simply can’t say enough about Steven whose calming demeanor and caring voice placed calls to me every step of the way. He informed me of the amount of damage, how long it would take for parts to come in and approximately what length of time I could expect for the service to take to complete. He called me approximately every two days to provide me updates on my vehicle and where things stood. I appreciated his honest approach and could say nothing more than thank you each and every time he called. Mind you this all transpired right around the Thanksgiving Holiday and I couldn’t have been more thankful for those calls which put my mind at ease each and every time.I would also like to say that I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my car. It looked brand new again. I owe special thanks to the team, who I’m sure go unrecognized for their valiant efforts behind the scenes, for giving back my car in better condition than it was before I hit the deer.I’d like to add that I too am in customer service with extremely demanding clients.
