The people at this shop are very honest and good at what they do. My wife and I were searching for a new repair shop after moving to Frederick and after trying out several shops (with mixed results) we finally got a recommendation from a friend to come to Freestate.I couldnt be happier! The first time I came for an exhaust issue and saved $650 compared to the nearest quote! When I went back for other repairs, Ive always walked out feeling fairly treated and paying a price that I believe was very honest for the job completed.

With prices of new trucks we decided to repair our older truck. A/C complete replacement and front end rebuild. Honest and reliable work as it’s always been with this shop.

Got me scheduled to come in the day after I called to install an exhaust on my 2013 Mini Cooper. Dropped it off at 7:30am and by 10:00am they were done! Great and fast service. Would definitely recommend!!

I was having a bad experience with my previous car and was in need for a reasonable auto shop. I came across Gary at freestate auto, told him my issue and he checked it out. Instead of taking my money he was completely honest and let me know the vehicle I am trying to fix is truly not worth the money and the hassle of keeping the car up (it was that bad) but hed do whatever I needed him to do. I honestly took what he said into consideration turns out he was right. I respect the fact that he was honest and told me the real deal instead of just taking my money knowing it was a waste! I have gotten another car since then, which is way more reliable and is on the road for the long haul. All thanks to Freestate auto ! Gary and his workers are my mechanics and will be as long as they are around. I highly recommend this business, I have sent alot of my friends their way and all have been satisfied and consider Gary their mechanic. THANKS DUDE !!!!

Freestate made a custom exhaust system for my Scout five years ago. Dual exhaust, Flowmasters, all pipes (everything past the headers) custom bent and built as I requested.Now, five years later, I can say for sure that its still a quality job that has held up well.
