I had been referred to this place by another tire company who couldn’t serve me at the time due to short staffing. I went in to have my rear tires changed on my Mercedes. Firstly, I have special “run flat” tires on my car that most often needs to be ordered in advance. I called South Side tires and they got them for me the SAME day! I took my car in at 2pm and it was out and done by 4. Donnie was the one who changed my tires. He took extra special care of my car. He did a full inspection of my wheels with photos to show me the tread on the front wheels also. Not just Donnie, but the ladies in front are extremely professional. My overall experience with them was a great one. I’ll be going back this week to have my front tires replaced also.

South side inspected my horse trailer replacing brakes and lightning. They worked with me on my schedule and even provided the tag and title address so I could quickly register the trailer. They were friendly and courteous. Highly recommend their services.

We were on a short timeline since our son was leaving to head back to college. South Side had tires in stock and were able to get our vehicle into the shop the very next day to ensure our son could travel with peace of mind that he was not going to have issues with getting back to school. The crew was able to also identify and fix our rear brakes while there, so Mom is super happy that his vehicle will also stop him safely when needed! I had a slow leak in one tire, I took it to one place and they told me it could not be fixed and it needed to be replaced. I decided to contact South Side Tire & Auto after seeing the good recommendations and they were so friendly. After pricing new tires they took a look and said the other place was wrong and it was repairable!! They fixed it right away while we waited in the lobby enjoying their homemade popcorn. I dropped my truck (3/4 ton diesel pickup) off at Southside unannounced on a hot Friday afternoon to have all 4 tires replaced and a full alignment. I didn’t expect it to be done until Monday as they were busy and it was after lunchtime when I left it but at 4:15 I received a call that the truck was ready for pickup. I was very happy to get that news as I had some work I could now get done over the weekend. They were cordial, knowledgeable and the work was done fast and to perfection.

Had tires shipped to them for my Jeep. Very efficient in mounting/balancing my new 35 inch mud terrains and making sure the Jeep was in perfect alignment. Jeff was also very accommodating to let me leave the old tires there that day so I could figure out what to do with them. Will use them going forward for any tire work I need done on the Jeep.

Came to Maryland from Ohio for a cattle show. Needed a tire and called these guys at 3:00pm and they said they had a tire and would change it. Ended up being a cracked rim. They got me fixed up and on the road and stayed an hour after they closed. Got home the next day (3 days later) and they texted me and was checking to see if I made it. 10/10 recommend them. Worst feeling stranded on side of road. Had car dropped off and they worked it in so I had my car back same day. I picked it up after hours so did not interact with anyone but was contacted to make sure everything was ok. Great customer service!!!

Recieved a call from Jeff and he took the time to fixed any and every concern i had and was willing to help in any way once we cleared up the situation. Repairs have been good on my vehicle and are holding steady. Due to understaffing their timing and customer service is slow but with patience and some further understanding, good. They obviously want to do right by the customer, to the best of their ability.

My first experience with Southside was a few years ago when I took my car in thinking I needed a new tire, but they repaired it instead of selling me a new one. I’ve been taking my vehicles to them for tires and maintenance ever since. Communication is great and I don’t think you could beat their prices.

While traveling very early on a Saturday morning to Ohio, I noticed that I was losing pressure in one of my tires. Stopped to put air in and noticed the air wouldnt stay in. Goggled tire shops and found South Side Tire and Auto. Called them to see if they had a tire that fit my car. I was so happy to hear that they did and was told they could get me right in. They saved the day. They are very professional and I recommend them to everyone

I needed front breaks and had been trying to find a good local place - i read really good reviews about South Side Tire and Auto so I gave them a try.I have to say, I was not only not disappointed, but happily impressed.Kelly at the service desk was great, really nice and kept me updated throughout the day. The recommendation for a couple of things that could be updated on my Xterra; shocks and a sway bar, were totally recommended in a no pressure manner.Jeff the technician was great and followed up to make sure everything was ok.The work was excellent, and they provided a loaner car at no charge so I could go home while the work was being done.Overall this was a great experience with a really good shop and I would highly recommend them. I will for sure be going back And as a bonus, its great that they are not a chain and locally owned which makes them vested in the community.

South Side Auto exceeded my expectations. Have a silverado with 33 tires on 20 fuel rims. Had a horrible issues with the shop that I purchased the tires and rims from in regards to wheel balancing. Took it in to South Side and all problems are gone. Excellent service and even customer service. Even took pictures of all readings and sent to me. Would highly recommend.

SouthSide was good to work with: smooth new Pirelli’s on my wife’s Ford Edge and a smooth install. I worked with Southside and owner Jeff because they helped me very fairly with a spat of nails in my Explorer tires over the past year and because of Southside’s support of local agriculture youth. Long term customer of this business. Or should I say former customer.Ive spent tens of thousands of dollars here, and have dealt with Kenny and Jeff for years. I always considered them a shop who stood by their work, and honored their quotes. I never thought theyd be the type to commit funny business.On 6/21/2021, I followed the same procedure I always have, and called them for a quote before sending a company vehicle in for service.Kelly quoted me for a 2016 Silverado 2500 transmission fluid drain and filter change. Estimate was $200.00 - $250.00 in labor, and around $100.00 for parts. Should be right around $300.00 to $350.00 right?I then checked in with other shops we work with. South Side wasnt the cheapest quote I got, but I ended up choosing to bring it to them based on: 1) our prior work relationship and 2) the quote being about $100.00 cheaper than the local Chevrolet dealership.Now, imagine my shock when my worker brings back a receipt for $590.89. Nearly double the quoted amount!$351.92 of this was just in labor - and mind you - they had the truck for just 2 hours - from 2:30 PM to 4:31 PM (Closing Time). $175.00 in hourly labor for fluids work?When I called to ask about the bill, both Kelly and Kenny blew me off and pretended I didnt know what I was talking about. We have 10 company vehicles, 11 years in business, and a large annual maintenance budget. Im not a mechanic, but I know enough to tell when something wasnt right.Its even easier to spot something not being right when I had the exact same service done, on this exact same truck, 45,000 miles previously. For about $350.00.Further, this isnt close to the first time Ive had billing issues with this business. On three separate occasions, Ive had to call and have funds credited back due to misbills on tire repairs (charging for 5 tires instead of 4, charging for 7 tires repaired instead of 4 tires, etc).I always chocked this up to harmless mistakes. Now Im wondering if my judgement was just wrong this whole time.Moral of the story: consider picking a different shop. If they are willing to treat long-term customers as poorly as they did me, I have no doubts they are willing to do more to a small time one.

Overall Great experience with Southside on our farm tractor tire fill and service. Technician was thorough and rechecked all torque specs. Even helped jump start our dead battery! Super friendly, efficient, and courteous team! 👍🏼
