Walking into this place was like pure nostalgia. Everything basically looks the same from 20 years ago except the CDs are gone. Everyone is nice and helpful.
Got my laptop hard drive replaced after the hard drive Ive had in there craped out after 8 years. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. Ill go back again
Zero customer service in store and online,it is truly unBelievable ho we be difficult it is to talk to a in person regarding a online purchase. And the sotr personnel offered no help or acknowledge my existence I have to go ask and then they were going to walk right by untill I asked them a question 😭
On this particular day I went to Best Buy to purchase a SD card. The store was super empty with more employees than customers. The lady at the counter was there prior to me entering the store., this i know because Im always scanning the checkout line when Im in a rush. As I procured my SD card and stood in line, I knew whatever was going on with her was not going to be quick. After standing in line for ten minutes, I started doing calisthenics in line., as their video cameras can attest to. I was able to do 40 squats, 40 knee raises per knee, 40 twists, 40 forwards and 40 backwards leg lifts (standing up of course), and 10 lunges. Mind you, I was the only person in line at this time. Several times an employee, Im assuming a supervisor came to the front to assist another employee with curbside pickup and would walk right past me and say nothing. It took for additional customers to come into the store of which three got in line behind me for this alleged supervisor to open up an additional register to check me out. Now, I didnt keep tabs on how long after I waited ten minutes to start my exercise routine that it took for another register to open, but its safe to say another ten minutes lapse which is truly unacceptable. Regardless if theres one person in line and there is a hold-up at the only available register, no customer should have to wait as long as I did to get service, ESPECIALLY if the store is empty and theres plenty of employees mulling around to assist. SMHDo better, Best Buy! At least the one in Fredericksburg, Va!
You know why youre coming here before you go in... Just ask the guy at the front where what you want is. Itll make your whole trip here quicker and much more satisfying. Its an electronics store, they have what youre looking for, and if not, they can get it for you! Easy peasy...P.S. Ive heard Amazon is evil...
Good prices on some items. Could have had more floor help handy to answer questions and pull stock for customers. The people we did encounter were friendly and helpful.

Tyson helped me immensely to feel confident in my choice and was very patient with me while I was communicating with a 3rd party who was helping me in my decision. Stopped by to check out their cameras. Only a few on display were usuable and the selection was really small. There was good quality in what we saw but overall it was lacking, no customer service in the area either to help with decision making

Laura is setting up appt.I recently purchased a radio, speakers, and reverse camera.I spent probably 1k for all this.My speakers are not putting out any sound.And the volume resets to zero ever phone call.I will change the review for this once resolved.They are good guys but I want it to work!!!

-----NO HIGH-END PRODUCTS HERE----This store used to carry high-end A/V products such as Audio Quest Cherry Coke, & Vodka HDMI cables at longer lengths.They no longer do so.When I spoke to the associate at the front door about providing feedback in a very uncomfortable conversation he said that store associates are discouraged from doing so, and if they do it never manifests in actual positive change.
This place is horrible if I could award a negative star I would!!! We went in 2 days in a row to try to get help with a car stereo system, and NO one was in the department. They paged someone twice and NO one showed up. Whoever is running this store is doing a horrible job of scheduling. They have their employees in the different departments apparently leave before 8 eventhough they are open now till 11. We were waiting over 30 minutes for help and NOTHING!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE OR AT ANY OTHER BESTBUY location even the customer service number is useless!!!!
Good store and employees, but I bought a inspiron 13 7000. Keyboard had issues with letters: qweruiop within the first month or two.So Ive had to carry around a keyboard just to work with this mess.Mostly just dissatisfied with a new laptop that ran for 1000 bucks and couldnt type normal
I had the Pleasure of running into Jon at Best buy. I been looking for a new TV for weeks and have been hesitant on what to buy. Jon was very knowledgeable and professional and knew I wasnt buying that day. He didnt try to rush me into buying anything and was very helpful. I feel comfortable making my decision with this best buy for my TV.

The associate that helped me out knew what he was talking about and was able to hold a decent conversation about gaming peripherals! I went in looking for a 65% keyboard with the corsair k65 on my mind. Great price on a dope keyboard for my battlestation! Its best buy 9/10 its a perfect trip the other 1/10 is stock is normally low thanks to the increase in local computer gamers and scalpers grabbing product for eBay during covid but over all great trip this time thanks!

I got an Epson printer from here that was extremely problematic and very unreliable. It only worked once in a blue moon. It’s not the store’s fault, but Jeremy (a manager) helped me tremendously by allowing me to exchange it for a new one. I got an HP printer that is already working 10 times better than the Epson. That really helped me out being a student that consistently needs a reliable printer. Thank you, Jeremy!

I was greeted at the door, but wasnt asked if I needed help finding an item. My intention were to buy a mothers day gift for my wife. I knew what I wanted to buy all I needed was the assistance of a staff member to purchase it, since it was behind a glass enclosure. I looked around and saw many staff members talking among themselves some walk by, no one offered to help. I didnt bother to ask for help, it was clear that I needed the help, I stood in the aisle for a couple of minutes and decided to leave. I decided to order my purchase through Amazon while in the parking lot of best buy, a next day delivery. The customer service at best buy Manassas, is much better this branch needs aid in customer relations.
Im a Samsung fanatic. So my wife wanted to find me when I wondered off she found me under one of those huge Samsung signs.. Best buy has every product you need for any electronic component in your life at the right price. My wife got our son a new Mac book with all the essential accessories. And got a couple bucks off to thanks to their student and buy back programs.. Nice!
Only reason theres a second star was conversation stayed professional and friendly. The associate from computers I spoke with is NOT at fault. Best Buy used to invest in their employees a lot more than it seems they do now (former employee from computers). He admitted he was new which I was fine with but he also couldnt track down anyone who DID know anything. I was ready to be steered towards a sale but instead was instructed to just look online from home. Whatever happened to keeping the customer in the store, looking it up online, and ordering it online from the store so that the store gets credit. Instead, because of the lack of service (again not the associates fault) I was forced to go home do an exhausting amount of research and drive completely out of my way to another store who seems to get that you need to have competent folks working in their given sections. Are employees not mandated to keep up with trainings on new products like I was when I worked for the company? The computer section specifically should only be hiring folks with knowledge of the computer industry and/or training associates within other sections to work in that section via vendor and best buy trainings. Sad to see the company where it is today.
It is good to see that Best Buy is still in business. The outside of the store looks a little run down but the inside is well kept. It seemed busy, so I did my best to keep distance from other patrons. I came in to see if they carried circuit board electrical connectors, which they did not (hard items to find in stores these days); however, the staff was friendly.

Was as if I offended the employees by trying to spend money. Asked for an external USB hard drive, they try to sell me an internal SSD. When I corrected the employee that they werent the same, they huffed at me. I left and spent my money at Office Max next door. 10/10 recommend going to Walmart or anywhere else. Worst Best Buy experience ever.

Went in the store with the intention of spending $2K - $3K. Almost walked out because there was only 1 employee handling the entire back of the store including Magnolia while there were multiple employees in the computer section standing around. It took 25 minutes for the 1 employee to get to me.
Chris is the man to see! I believe he said he works in the TV department but he helped me with appliances. He previously worked in appliances before TVs. He wears a black LG jacket and his name tag says LG expert. He was super helpful, very informative, and has great customer service skills. He spent a lot of time with me determining the best bundled package for the best price.
One of the only electronic stores still around. They dont carry all the televisions listed on online so double check If you have something in mind.
My wife and I were looking for a pair of over-the -ear headphones. We stopped at this Best Buy location and were confronted by a huge selection of choices. FORTUNATELY - one of the great staff walked us through the offerings and helped us make a good selection. Our son loved the gift!

Came here at 2pm on a weekday and it was barely busy…still could t find a soul to answer my questions about a router.I came with the intention of buying a router however the service is non existent and for that reason I decided not to spend my money here.The only section of the store that is attentive is the smartphone section and that is because they are paid commission.No wonder this company has been struggling for so long.

The bottom part of my washer was delivered and ininstalled the other day.(lg sidekick) The installer told me I needed an extension cord to plug in both washers, as I only had one outlet for the washer. He told me exactly what to get. he gave specifics because he said If I get the wrong one it can throw a breaker. So I go to best buy and ask about the specific cord. Two gentlemen in the appliance section pull up my info and which washer I purchased. He said you can use any extension cord, theyre all pretty much the same. When I asked where the cords were in the store, he just kind of pointed anf grunted. I go in the direction he points. No extension cords. I look around for about 19 minutes and cant find them. I go to customer service and they point me in the right direction. My first issue.... They should have told me when I purchased and set up delivery that I may need an extension cord. I had no idea they had separate power supplies. They made me purchase other things that I ultimately didnt need. So why not question the need for a cord? Second issue.... It was not any extension cord. I needed a specific one and the associate didnt say that. so of course, I bought the wrong one.
They need too much information to join best buy rewards then told me I had to wait 30 days I needed my laptop that day not 30 days away 😅

I went to return a video game and the cashier was very helpful and polite but the manager that he called over acted like a Donkey. I had the game for less than a week and it had so many glitches and issues that Best Buy and Sony made a special exception to accept returns if open games. Despite this, the “supervisor” was still hesitant and questioned my return EVEN THOUGH all of my information, to include the proof of purchase was on my Best Buy Account.
First time in their Stafford store, and found it to be one of the Best Best Buys I have been to. Product display very nicely arranged and the sales staff were very helpful in explaining our washer and dryer choices.These guys are now on our short list for appliances purchases because of their service and pricing.
Geek Squad - I wish I could give less than a one star rating. I drove an hour away and spent over four hours here. I cant tell you how many obstacles I had to overcome in that time, just to try to get them to fix my issue. In the end, they didnt. They took down my information with a promise to call, they never did.
Went in shopping for a new laptop. The salesman who helped me was very help and pleasant. I was also looking to buy a new refrigerator however the wait was too long trying to get someone to assist. Sale was lost here today.
I ordered something from bestbuy.com that never got delivered and literally spent months trying to get my item or just refunded. I decided to visit my this store since its my local store to see if they could help. My issues were independent of this store but the staff went far out of their way to get a reimbursement for me. It wasnt easy on their end either and they finally just wound up giving me cash which equals a net loss for them. Everyone locally is awesome and I absolutely recognize the work they put in on my behalf when they didnt halve to. That is outstanding customer service!

I went in on Friday to look at smartwatches and left after not receiving any help. I returned the next day with the understanding that they would be busy, after I waited for twenty minutes, I was acknowledged by someone working in the computer area who was currently helping someone else. What caused me to leave this time was observing an employee standing 20 feet from me staring at his phone for a few minutes then walking past me without looking up from it.
It was great a bit of a hard time finding help once help was found got the things I wanted. With help loading in the car. One item didnt fit so they offered to have it delivered free of charge.

If you buy something from here make sure they have it in the store. Order online at your own risk. I have had to cancel two orders now because they keep pushing deliveries. They seem to sell your ordered item rather than fulfill your order, whether its a delivery or an in-store pick up. In-store shopping and purchasing is great. But when it comes to online ordering, Id stick with Amazon. Even Walmart is more dependable.UPDATE: After talking to Best Buy services about my refund, I also found out that that after they made the change to my delivery date, they also tried to charge me a delivery fee for what was supposed to be a FREE delivery. They couldnt meet their commitment of delivery, they made the change to the delivery date, then they tried to sneak in a delivery fee. Deal with them at you own risk.

An organization that offers a defined service should expect of itself to meet the commitment and, when it does not, prepare itself to handle a complaint.They gladly took my money for a product they guaranteed was in stock and available for pickup. After being informed that it was still on time I spent the whole day waiting for my pickup notification only to be told 10 minutes before closing that my item was delayed and was offered no explanation or timeline to when I would receive my item. In fact the only help I was offered, “If your item is not ready for pickup by 12/23 we will cancel your order and refund your purchase” that’s not optimal for holiday shopping is it? My timeline, item in stock and available for pickup ordered 12/2, 12/9 “Item is being prepared for pick up today” 12/9 6:50pm emailed stating my item was delayed with no further explanation.

Im having a difficult time with this review because I think the staff is great. They are helpful, attentive and outgoing. The store is always clean and things are easy to find. The hours are convenient and I think the staff did a great job during COVID of finding creative ways to fill orders and keep people safe. Lines are never too long and their return policy is very easy.The thing keeping them from five stars the decline in inventory over the past few years. Even before COVID I was perpetually frustrated that they were always out of stock for items. I started looking online before I even went to the store to see what was inventory, only to arrive and be told that the items actually werent in stock. This happens all of the time. Even the employees have shared their frustration that the store isnt well stocked and told me that customers constantly complain. And over and over again I am told that I can order online. If I didnt need something quickly, I would have already ordered it online without the suggestion.Frequently the item Im looking for isnt in stock at the Fredericksburg location, but always seems to be in stock in the Stafford location, which means I have to fight traffic to go get said item. This is particularly true for Apple products. Im not even bothering to go to Best Buy for their Apple products because their inventory is so limited. Make the trip up to Prince William and visit the Apple Store there. They always have what you need in stock and its a painless experience.This situation has become so routine, that Ive nearly stopped shopping with Best Buy at all. For years Ive had the highest level of rewards status and in recent years have rarely even bothered since my purchase efforts are now focused on competitors.

I came into Best Buy this morning, seeking a charger for my laptop, and though they didnt have what I needed, Josh was WONDERFULLY helpful, informative, and friendly! He took the time to assist me with an online search to try and track down a Universal Chrome Book charger, and even suggested a few other stores in the area that might carry it. He, and everyone else that greeted or assisted me there were ALL FANTASTIC and I highly recommend this store, for their customer service! 🙂

Customer service in store is terrible. looked at phone with my mom for at least 10 minutes. No one provided assistance or asked if we had questions. I think the store is more concerned with theft than providing customers a quality experience. These guys are making it easy for Amazon honestly.

If i could i would put 0 stars I ordered an item was told it would be here tuesday and now 4 days later still not here they did not even email me a tracking number and i cant even track my package on the website and when i called to see where it was they did not rven know so i guess you could say they need some new employees that know what there doing in the shipping department overall you guys just lost a customer.

The worst retail establishment ever. I would like to give them -5 stars if I could. I purchased a microwave in August. It was damaged so I returned it. They didnt have one in stock so they ordered another one. Two months later they cancelled the order but did not credit my card. Three months they had my money and I had nothing. I have spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get my money. The last time I was on hold with the store for over an hour. Never did talk to anyone. I will NEVER shop with Best Buy again. I will also tell everyone I know to stay away too!

The price of appliances were a little cheaper but the main reason for the purchase was an earlier delivery date. They kept emailing and texting me reminding me about delivery and installation but the day of delivery they never showed up. I called multiple times that day spent hours on the phone but no one could tell me why or what was going on. I went to the Fredericksburg‘s Store the next day my appliances were there in the store and they did not know why they weren’t delivered they were another one that promised a return phone call that I never received. I had to reschedule the delivery for the following week and was told to call Best Buy after delivery for compensation. They wasted a complete day plus I removed all my appliances that morning and had to bring all back in my house and their compensation was $200 unbelievableI will never buy from them again
