I went to get my hair braided with my 7year old daughter on a Saturday, I had a 3:00 appointment and she didn’t finish my daughter hair until 8:00 and she is 7 year old with a tiny head and barley shoulder length hair and I was char fed $85 for a kiddie large width braided ponytail. and she never got to my hair so she apologized and agreed to do mine the following day again I set an appointment and had to sit and watch her do other people’s hair. She finally got to mine and did the back and after 45 mins she said she had a family emergency and had to go and let a young lady who had an injured back finish, she was unable to finish it so here I am 5 hours later after already spending $50 on hair with a half braided head, I ended up taking them down in the shop and went home with braids going to the back. I really try to be understanding of situations but this was my whole weekend waisted and I feel very upset disrespected and taken advantage of.I work full time and have a small child and my whole weekend was wasted, hair that was used in my hair and had to be taken down, gas waisted and most importantly my time. I would never go back and I highly discourage others from giving their hard earned money to this establishment.

Depending on whos braiding your hair it can come out very nice or it can be very bad. My cornrows were nice but that picture is a picture of my micros and they are obviously different sizes and it just wasnt tight and it frizzed in a couple of days. The people were nice but i payed a lot of mpney amd it wasnt neat. Very disappointed. But it was only about 5 hours.😕

Irene started my dread journey and made the transition process a smooth one. She educated me on which products to use for my hair type and went above and beyond to schedule appointments in advance to ensure I was having my retwist done on time. The environment is also clean and private as well as the atmosphere being inviting. Highly recommend.

This location is nice! Irene is a very sweet individual and her store is lovely. I went back again to buy me some hair products. She has good sales on earrings and make up products. Would recommend stopping by!

I just wanted to say that you rock! My first time @ Irene beauty supply and braiding; I got lost on my way to my hair appt due to GPS issues. Ms Irene came all the way to where I was so I can follow her to her salon. I never told her this but I was impressed and felt very valued as a first time customer. I just went back there about a week ago to do my hair again and will definitely refer friends and family to her Salon. Theyre very professional about everything with a much more relaxed environment. VERY FRIENDLY!!!

Well I was going to give this shop a 5 star because of the owner...great personalityHowever the stylist kept sticking me with the needle as she was weaving my hair...she apologized once but still kept doing it..she even stopped to clean her glasses and i believe she has 2 different strand colors in my hair...brown and black hopefully it wont showI usually always give a tip but I was just too upset to do soI do like the atmosphere...I will probably return but will request another stylist

She was supposed to open at 9:30AM on Tuesday. I arrived at that time to find she was not even there. I called the number I found on Google and she answered. She told me she was running errands and would be there shortly. By 10:00AM She still was not there. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever attempted to patronize. I will never return.

Terrible service....I ask for full Sew in and tracks were showing due to not enough leave out hair. Track bulky and not laying down to braid. My appt was at 1030 and did not leave until 230 due to her constantly answering her phone or attending to customer wanting to purchase hair or products. She is a nice woman but her service is poor for the price she is asking. Not happy at all!!

Prices are decent very nice lady and she does hair on sight I havent had a chance to get my hair done but shes somebody I would be willing to let do it

Irenes Beauty Supply is a beautiful place to shop, the people theyre very friendly, and the lady there did a wonderful job on my daughters hair.

They showed up 30 minutes late and told me my hair was to soft to grip and kept pressuring me to pay to get an additional 2 braids I got up and walked out very rude and talked about me in their language every time I stood up for myself. Horrible place

Wish I could give it NO STARS....we called ahead of time and asked if they had a particular brand and type of location gel and she kept saying they had it even after clarifying to them that SO YOU HAVE THE MURRAYS Loc Lock Gel she says yes they do..when we got there the lady was having a conversation on the phone the entire time...not only did theh not have what we asked over the phone she also said they dont carry it (we live in King George btw) so we chose go just grab something else which is typically $4.99 in other stores but was $7.50 in Irenes which I noticed EVERYTHING was very EXPENSIVE compared to other places. The Father and Son NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE us and as the son was ringing us up...he never greeted us or say Thank You after we purchased our items and never said You Welcome when my gf said Thank You to him when he handed us the receipt....its a very TINY store and VERY EXPENSIVE compared to other stores and they hardly have anything...dont believe them if u call ahead they just want u to come up there and end up purchasing what they do have.

I am a biracial female that has mixed curl types and when I went into the store I was called white girl behind my back, she seemed like she didnt want to sell the hair to me and she tried to charge extra money than the tag had shone, I do not reccomend coming here unless you want to be disrespected for having lighter skin than other women.

Terrible experience the hair braider was late. She didnt match the style to the picture and it took 2 hours to cornrow my daughters hair. She tried to charge $60 for the cornrows, after saying they would be $45-50 despite having a 10%off sign outside. All which couldve been overlooked until I realized the braider cut a piece of my daughters hair, after it was braided. Because I didnt see it until Saturday morning, her hair was braided Thursday evening, she refused to fix the situation in any way. They are sheisty and unprofessional.

This was the worst experience ever. Went to get box braids and she rushed through them. Braids were not consistent in size they were either super big or really small. She tried to make it right by re doing them and they were worst then before and she charged me more to fix her mess up. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy!!!

Irene has a nasty way of apeakinggw to her customers. I went there to buy hair a few times. Every time I go it like around the time it says she is open. I get there and her hours says 9 she NEVER gets there until after 930 or 10 when I called the number listed she kept saying she was on the way so I decided to wait I mean we all have late morning sometimes buy its a all the time thing for her. And then she shows up being rude and told me she would take 1$ off her OVER PRICED hair. Like thats it I just waited outside for you to give your store business. I advised her to change her tikes since nun of it is correct she dose not open at 9 and she is will not be getting business from with the way she handled the situation was just plain disrespectful !
