My wife recently bought a dining set and we could not have been happier with the service we got from Anthony. He was highly knowledgeable and courteous. The delivery team did a great job also. Our family and friends love our new furniture !!
This store is absolutely horrible..Ordered furniture back in December 2020 and still don’t have furniture after saying 4-12 weeks. They never called us to give us an update, and when we finally followed up they did it was discontinued, when asking why they never called and told us they literally said “why would we call you to give you bad news… . Went back during Memorial Day weekend to get our money back for the furniture and they asked us to look around and see if we wanted a store credit.. We found a set we liked and were told we could have it for 3k.. the sales person, Tony, said the price was good until June 15. He also wrote the price down and said he would honor, the 3k price to allow us to go to our new house for measurement. Today when we called back he tried to tell us he never said 3k and the set was now 4800. Even though in his writing he provided us a price and the couch measurements. His excuse was “it was a mistake he miss quoted us” and that “he wrote a ton of quotes that day” we literally sat on couch with him and he wrote out the price of each piece and the discount.. literally took the sticker prices of each piece..Anyways I have to now drive 45 mins to go back and get my money back from my purchases I made back in December ..luckily the same set is available online and in most stores for 3100-3300..On top of that other store are willing to provide a larger discount since we need to furnish 3 rooms and 2 bed rooms.. I am sure a $10k+ purchase is peanuts to them, but I’ll spend the money with a company who appreciates my business and is honest..I’ll never give this store my business again!

The stores temperature is entirely too hot. Did the air conditioning break? Me and my family could not bear to look at furniture in that environment. I do not understand how they could allow their employees to work under those conditions. Especially with the temperature having been 96 degrees this week alone. This has to be some type of violation. Corporate needs to get involved.

I ordered in Jan 2021 and it is going to be 4 months now. Everytime I call I am told by them its pandemic. This pandemic is not only for marlo furniture this is for every store. I was told you will get your order by 8-12 weeks I received half order in March 2021 and stuck with remaining furniture. This is really not good. When customers call you dont read your same script again and again as if you dont care the customers. Kindly, focus on your service and stop saying to your customers that you are not responsible whoever receives call in you store he/she is responsible to provide good service and provide any information regarding customers order. Because you are representing your company where you are working. I am disappointed.
The manager is so rude I was ready to make a purchase but it was too close to closing time so he wanted to go and got told to come back tomorrow..he does not need to be in sales or customer service or manage anyone or anything. Yeah I didnt go back and never will.

This has been the most rude and inconsiderate encounter Ive ever had at a furniture store ever! Management or Saleman are beyond rude threatens to call a sheriff because of a mistake made by the company and says its the customers responsibility to check if the product is right. How if its wrapped in plastic? In all go to a place that will treat you the same way they as they did when you spent money with them.
Placed an order 9/25/20 living room furniture. I was told it should be in by the middle of December because it was not in warehouse. I was fine with that. 12/20 no furniture, called and told not until January, January rolled around no furniture. February came and went, still no furniture. I was told definitely the first week in March, the delay was because of Covid-19 but they were sure this time I would get delivery. March 15th called and told it would be a little longer. I went into showroom, canceled the order and got a full refund. On the same day I went to Ashley Furniture and placed an order for very similar furniture, was told 8-12 weeks. April 2nd furniture was delivered.
Prices very fair, customer service is great. Will return.
Had a great experience here! We got an amazing deal on some beautiful furniture and we had some concerns about the timing of delivery, but the staff worked with us and helped us get an earlier delivery date. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a lot of great options for low prices. I’ll definitely be coming back for future purchases on furniture!!
Happy to see that the store is finally open after a few months, due to the pandemic, I went back to shop again from the same shop and luckily the same store manager, Tony. Just like the other time, last year, he gave me a great discount, much better than prices online and Amazon. One more thing, this giant store was very neat and organized last year and this time it was even more organized, and that matters to me as a customer.
Purchased bedroom set. Delivered bed not night stands. 2 months later we have the night stand. The bed set we purchased was discontinued so we had to accept the floor nights stands. the stands actually attach to the bed head board. They delivered used night stands and refused to put furniture together. While they were here I spoke to the manager over the phone. He promised me a call back 2 weeks later we still have not received a call. I am gong to attempt to put the furniture together myself. But that was not the agreement. I told them maybe a store credit for giving me used night stands. Still have not heard from them about putting furniture together. They are terrible.6/27/18 I am sure you see they responded for me to contact customer service. But they have my name number and my money. They know how to reach me. But they do not give you a person just another run around. Its a crazy world we live in. No responsibility or ethics. Make the sale and hit the road.
Bought a bedroom set and an additional dresser and mirror, about two weeks ago. I was taken to what I needed and it was a really good price. Everyone in the store was very helpful. The only issue I had was waiting on someone to come in to fix the computer. Other than that, I got what I needed and would shop here again.
Nearly 3 months. No furniture has been delivered. Have called multiple times and always get the run around. Get toldI’ll get a call back, but one never comes. Going to report the charge as fraud to my credit card company as it doesn’t seem Marlo has any intention of delivering what I bought! Go to any other furniture store!!!
I purchased a living room set on the 14th of September of 2019. The first delivery was on the 21st of October. The first encounter with the movers was terrible, as they would not listen when I told them where to place the furniture. They seemed to be in a rush to just dump the furniture and leave. When they brought in the wooden stools to the dining table, two were in good condition, but the other two were cracked on the leg of the stool. One guy tried to hastily fix it before bringing it into the house, but the crack was still very visible. I refused to sign the form, and asked for them to return the two stools and send a replacement, because I could tell the stools would break with the slightest pressure. The delivery man called his boss to inform her that I refused to sign. She was rude as well, and told me that there was nothing that could be done, and that I should contact marlo and schedule another delivery date. So I did call and they agreed to send two new stools, and they did on the 16th of November. Never mind the large gap in dates for the delivery, I had to call multiple times for the first delivery and today’s delivery. When they delivered today, the came in the evening and tried to leave it at the door. When we asked to inspect before signing, they made a big fuss about it, but after the last encounter, I wasn’t going to sign without checking it. Once I flipped the stool over, it was cracked where the screws were put in. The other one was in similar condition, and this was worse than the last stools. This encounter could have been smoother, if the guy would have just let me look at it and take a picture. Once he saw the condition, he tried to lie and say that it was just because of the screw. But given how expensive the set was, the quality of the furniture should have been Better. I calmly asked for him to wait so I could take a picture before he could take it back, and once it was evident I was not going to sign off, he became rude and tried to snatch the furniture saying that we were wasting his time, and that he had to go. I refused to let him take it without taking a picture for evidence, because at this point, I was fed up with the whole process. My husband came in to see me trying to take a picture, and the man snatched it right from under me. He said that he had to go, and my husband said “I don’t care, we need to take a picture”. The man said, “if you don’t care, I don’t care about your time, I need to go”. I managed to get two pictures in because of my husband, otherwise this man, way bigger than me, would have snatched the stool from my hands. That was a very rude way to treat a customer, especially since He told him that it wasn’t his fault, and that we weren’t mad at him, just upset with the audacity of the company to send broken stools, not once, but twice. The last delivery was a small crack, and the situation was made more dramatic than what it was supposed to.
Purchased new bedroom furniture for daughter.. great sales staff.. very fast delivery and assembly.. A+++ experience, thank you!!
We stopped by just to take a look, but ended up shopping for 3 items at great prices. Tony, the store manager, single-handedly well helped us as well as the other customers visiting the shop. I have seen other Marlo stores at this size have about 20 staff! Tony was professional, respectful, very helpful, and generous with offering discounts. I will stop by again when I need furniture or matress.
We walked in and was created almost immediately and was taken to the area of what we were looking for which was for a couple of dressers for our bedroom. We ended up buying 2 chests, a dresser, a night stand along with two bar stools at a really great price. Our salesman Hassan was great. Would definitely shop there again for our furniture needs.
I am very disappointed with me paying for four chairs upfront and they havent been delivered yet. Ive been calling for days now and no one has answered the phone yet, and I want to just cancel my order and get my money back. I can get four chairs right now from Wayfair at a cheaper price and delivered in three days. Would someone please call me or respond back so I can retrieve my money and move on from the negative experience. Never again will I ever go back to this store. Poor customer service is all I can say.

The only reason I can even give one star is because I love my couch. This truly has been the worst experience I have ever had. I am not sure how this store is still in business because they dont have a care in the world about their customers. We purchased our couch on July 3rd and we were told by the sales manager it would be two to six weeks at the most before the couch came in. The estimated delivery date changed approximately 20 times. I get that it is an estimated date but they did not call us ONE time to update us on the status. The corporate office in fact hung up on my husband. It has now been over nine weeks and we finally have a complete couch. I am so glad I dont ever have to talk to or step foot in this Marlo or any other in the future.

DONT PAY FOR ANYTHING IN ITS ENTIRETY UPFRONT......Finance it wait till you receive it. Go over it with a Fine tooth comb......Sign Nothing at the time if delivery until youre sure its right.The si called Customer Service Department is Non Existent. Never returns calls. Will attempt to repair your new furniture and if you signed for the delivery. Then you signed up for this. It Is Hell Gettting Customer Service to even answer the phone after a purchase.1. Never sign for a delivery unless the entire set is present.2. If something is wrong with 1 piece send it all back.3. Never accept partial delivery.If you do dont sign until you receive it all.4.Never pay in its entirety. Allways finance. That way if its ok then you can pay it off without paying interest.If at all possible SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.
My husband and I went to trivetts next to Marlo in Fredricksburg first. At trivetts, they followed us like sharks and wouldnt leave us alone. We found a couch we loved and took pictures of it and the tag. We went to Marlo and had Adam help us. From the get go, he let us walk around by ourselves and didnt bother us unless we had questions. In the end, he took the info we had for the couch at trivetts and got us a better deal on it. We had such a great experience here!
Have stopped in twice and been disappointed both time - the place is cluttered and somewhat dirty. The staff seems inattentive at best.
Prices use to be good. Now, everything is over priced!
