I like this place. However the customer service is not great. We walked in and sales person did not greet us, he was watching videos on his phone. We roamed the warehouse looking for a dryer. We were not asked if we needed help with anything. Which is fine we found what we were looking for anyway just took longer. When we went to pay we were told we could not take our appliance home because the guys that load were not there. We were disappointed we couldnt take it home. We offered to load it ourselves but the sales person said no we cant. So FYI call ahead if you plan on taking your appliance home the same day. We dont live in fresno so its a major inconvenience to go twice. Oh well. Anyway selection is great, customer service not so great. Salesperson: Jacob.

When my 20 year old refrigerator finally went out, my daughter recommended American Freight. I glad I listened. They had a big selection and I was able to find exactly what I wanted. The young lady August with her delightful Texas accent was wonderful help and explained financing and warranty

Kept telling me we have shipments coming in every other day but even after I told them exactly what I was looking for it was still up to me to come back and see. Left and still looking.

Bernie is absolutely wonderful!! I live in Maryland and was looking for a specific appliance, that I couldnt find anywhere locally. After searching for two days, and endless calls, I called the Fresno store and spoke to Bernie. She not only took the time to make sure the item was there, but answer all of the questions that I had about the item and shipping process! When I went into American Freight, I was greeted right away. They offered their finance program and I was able to get everything I wanted with a great price. My husband and I on a whim, went into the Fresno, California Sears Outlet store in search of a refrigerator. To our surprise, there was a huge selection including the style we wanted, a french style 4 door.We were able to narrow it down to two refrigerators but couldnt make the final decision. Michelle Rodriguez came to our rescue! She showed us a special feature called a food showcase door that we totalled missed. That finalized our decision. When it came down to the money we saved (over $1,500), payment options, extended warranty, delivery and installation she didnt miss a beat! Michelle had the correct answer for everything. She was charming and took her time with us.I highly recommend not only going to Sears Outlet for appliances and even furniture but to request Michelle Rodriguez. She knows her stuff, is patient and all with a smile.

I went to buy a coffee table and a set of end tables. I was going to pay $200 for the set. I asked what kind of warranty and was told that its only got a 48 hour warranty and if I wanted to extend it past the 48 hours it was going to cost an additional $199.99. People beware.

I would be cautious and well informed on the product/appliance you want before you look for it here. Make sure you know price points and features before entering the store or you might end up getting a second-hand item for literally just about the same price that you could have found it elsewhere. On two separate occasions I came here first and left to major retailers such as best-buy and home depot to find better valued appliances. Needless to say, I will not be wasting time here again lol

Terrible. Just TERRIBLE! I wouldnt buy things from this place again! I bought a Samsung fridge from this place less than 6 months ago because American Freight claimed that their products are still under warranty by the manufacturer. And my freezer has not been cooling well since I purchased it (Samsung recommended that you wait 24 to 48 hours for things to freeze). So I decided to called the manufacturer and the manufacturer said the product is NOT under warranty because it was REFURBISHED by someone else other than the Samsung certified technician. And when I called American Freight about the manufacturer warranty issue, they said they can give me a number for their guy to check the fridge but I have to pay for the service and theres nothing they can do about it. And when I told American Freight worker that my freezer is not cooling, he said its probably not covered by the warranty anyway. Then what would be covered by a fridge warranty, cosmetic? The only thing that a fridge does is keep things cold! And you wonder why they recommend you pay additional 500 bucks to buy their warranty...Unbelievable...

I bought a dryer from here that was brand new and did not work. They would not take it back because I laid it onits side. They told me that would void the manufacturers warranty. When I got it home it did not work. I had an electrician troubleshoot it and the timer was bad. Laying on its side had nothing to do with it going bad.If you want something thats going to work dont buy it from here

We initially purchased a couch that didnt quite fit through the doorway to our home. The delivery team gave it a good go and it was a typically hot day. Eli, whom I believe was the manager was very understanding and was happy to not only make an exchange but helped us in selecting a new ottoman and loveseat. He was very knowledgeable regarding the humidity and temperature sensitive areas in the home and helped us in finding what was right for us. I highly recommend this business.

Customer service was especially poor. Went to get a dryer and and completed the purchase and told us we would have to come back tomorrow. They had closed the back early and we couldnt take it out the front. Said forget it.

Since we lived out of town, we were very upset over the amount of work we thought we would have to do in order to get the issue taken care of. Thankfully we had an amazing time with customer service and the manager was not only helpful but very friendly. Nikki Vang, the assistant manager was particularly helpful. I would recommend this outlet to anyone in need of a washer, dryer, fridge, freezer or any other large appliance or furniture. The prices were very reasonable and I was very satisfied as a customer. So far, this has been the worst experience with purchasing an appliance that I have ever been a part of. We purchased a refrigerator on 9/12 that was delivered on 9/14. First the ice maker doesn’t work at all. We waited until the following day to put our food in the fridge and freezer. Right away we noticed the ice cream was soft and the freezer was not holding temperature. We called the warranty dept because thank God we bought the warranty. They are 2 weeks out. The following day, the fridge is not holding temp. So now, nothing works. We knew we were taking a chance by purchasing a previously owned item, but this thing doesn’t work at all. The store offered to exchange it but because of COVID, their selection is VERY limited and they don’t have a comparable item to exchange it with. So we wait. I will NEVER purchase a previously owned item from American Freight again.

We went in to purchase a new fridge, mattress and full bed frame and Michelle was so helpful and answered all our questions. The staff here are awesome and I will always recommend them to my friends. We always get our house appliances and furniture from here.

I went on Thursday got a fridge and unfortunately it did not work, but when I went in on Saturday and explained my situation they were so great about it and accommodated me with a replacement and free delivery and pick up the old one ! Great Experience! I was acknowledged when I walked in the door, then left for a minute to get my bearings. Then Omar asked me if I needed guidance, and listened to my long winded explanation of what I was looking for. He obviously listened, as he guided me (not pushy, just helpful) to the items I had asked about. He knew his merchandise well, and quietly, and accurately answered questions. If he didnt know the answer, he checked measurements and looked up details without being asked or prompted. Amazing customer service!

The asian lady is a scam artist even when you spend a couple of thousand she tries to rip you off. Everyone else including the manager is so very help and nice. Usually asians I come across are very nice and helping.

Awesome furniture prices if you want low quality furniture that isnt comfortable or that would last. No customer service what so ever. The recliners were a bit decent. Glad we came in to check it out because the prices were unbelievably cheap. You get what you pay for.

I bought a washer and dryer from a big box store online, but the dryer was too big upon delivery. We were without a washer and dryer for about a month awaiting delivery. I called Sears Outlet Fresno and Abel helped me get a great brand new washer and dryer, perfect fit, at a great price. He did this all over the phone, guiding me through paying online then helping my delivery person get it to my house same day. This was service over and above. Great job Abel and Sears Outlet, you will be my first stop for home needs from now on.

Bought a refrigerator and figured they would load it on it’s side or back and was a bit surprised when he put it upright against the window, in the bed of my truck. When I asked him about this he said if I didn’t do it this way, I’d have to wait 24 hrs to turn it on. I asked if it was safe. He said he’s seen them fly out before but that was because they were going to fast, but assured me if I went slow; it would be fine. So I reluctantly tried and about 100 feet down the road, the doors opened and it’s headed out onto traffic, but barely gets hung up in pick-up bed. All the glass shelves have been dislodged. I pull over on a frontal road, illegally no-less; and try to fix this cluster-flub. Thanks to the kind motorcycle cop for acting like he didn’t see me, realizing Sears had did enough to me already on this fine Monday; and spared me the ticket. I had to pull over again at Johnny Quick, where I paid a gracious yard worker some beer money for a hand with laying the fridge on its back. I then was able to make it home safe. It took me 15 minutes from when I laid it down to when I got home. The internet said I just need to sit fridge upright for equal amount of time that it was down before plugging. I called Sears and informed them of my scenario and they said I could plug it in after a couple of hours, after they originally told me 24; which was the reason for driving with it upright in Shaw in the first place. Please Sears, get your stories straight. Had I known I could drive it home while it was laid down, and only waited a couple hours to turn it on; I would have. Instead, my refrigerator is further scuffed up and someone could have been seriously injured for no good reason at all, except incompetence and neglect.

I would not buy a combo washer and dryer at Sears outlet anymore this was the first and it’s going to be my last. We just got it a month Ago and we already have lots of problems with it but thank God we got a warranty on it if it wasn’t for that it would’ve cost us a lot of money every time. They say they take the appliances to a place to get checked Before they sell them but I call BS .

Have a wide variety of new, open box or slightly damaged appliances for good prices. Also had furniture for the home and outside.
