I want to say my experience with Big Star Cadillac was 5 star from the start. This experience was second to none because of our salesman Benito. He greeted us with a smile and easily answered my endless questions about the Cadillac XT6 400 Sport. During a walk around the vehicle I noticed a small door ding. Benito immediately assured me that it would be taken care of. You can tell he is passionate about elevating the customer experience. I would recommend asking for Benito as your salesman if you want a 10 out of 10 buying experience!!!!
I am absolutely serious when I say you will receive the best customer service when dealing with Big Star. I live all the way in the state of Georgia & I went with this company. I reserved a 21’ Escalade for my wife in our hometown. We’ve been waiting patiently with very little updates & extended delays (that we have to continue to call about). I contacted Brandon at Big Star & he has been the absolute best. We’ve reserved a 22’ to hopefully receive in December with nearly all the packages we want. Brandon had called myself & my wife on a weekly basis just to keep us up to date. He’s contacted me on his off time if I’ve had any questions. Like I said the best service. I would not hesitate to recommend Big Star & definitely seek out Brandon!
Talk about 5 star!! From the moment we got out of our car, Walter Yates, was an all star. We honestly just went to look, Walter made us believers in the dealer. We started out looking at a CT4, but my wife wanted a larger one. Walter showed us a CT5, and it peaked our interest. In no hurry, Walter said take it to see if you like it, no commitment. And we did. We took a red ct5 sport. My wife loved it, but wanted a faster version in black. We went back, and told Walter, he got on it and found one that would be coming in a few days. Walter stayed in contact the entire time. He called us the day it came in, and we took delivery on a 2021 black ct5v. Everyone at dealer from the porters to the GM, Mike Pierce, treated us like we mattered. I’d recommend this dealer 10 times out of 10 based on my experience with them.
I couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience! Jumping into a shiny new Cadillac felt like a mountain of responsibility, for me at least, but my nerves on the matter wouldn’t last long. When I first talked to Jeremy R. about even the possibility of buy a luxury sedan I was nervous, but after some great conversations it came to light that this was instead a reward to myself for always working hard. I cannot thank Jeremy enough for his patience and much needed help and guidance on this car buying journey.
This week we went to purchase an Escalade. The first salesman did not show us the car we asked to see and did not make us comfortable. If you have the time to sit around for hours/days to be serviced…. This is the place for you!!! I will say sales department is great but the service department is HORRIBLE. I’ve been trying to get my 2021 Cadillac Escalade serviced for 39 days now…. Yes 39 days!!! My oil is now at 10%. I’ve left messages, spoke to a manager etc….and now waiting for “another” call back. I know when the new model comes in I will get bombarded with sales calls but after dealing with the service department I will be taking my business else where.

My experience at this dealership was the first of this nature. My fiancé and I walked into this dealership with the purpose of leasing a new vehicle for her. It took a while for anyone to even acknowledge us. Once a salesman finally approached us, we expressed our interest in a certain style. He suggested a cheaper option by saying “your first Cadillac can be one of the lowest levels of luxury and you can upgrade to a better vehicle as you promote.” I did not appreciate that he assumed this would be our first Cadillac. We felt as if we were being judged by the way we looked rather than by our potential to purchase a vehicle. The demeanor and attitude changed completely when he realized we could afford the vehicle we wanted. He was not upfront rude, but rather condescending.We left and went to a Lincoln dealership. Completely different experience and costumer service. We walked out of the Lincoln dealership with a vehicle the same day despite them having a 3 vehicle inventory total.
Be aware of buying Car Maintenance Package that covers your OIL change and service for initial 3-4 years depending on what you purchase. They would force you to purchase at the time of transaction. The drawback is if you trade in your car within that timeframe you lose all your money that you paid upfront (Cost varies from min $1500.00 to $3500.00 and negotiable with Sales person). It is not transferable. They didnt mentioned to me during my purchase. Very disappointed.I am current customer of Sewell and there is no way they can match their service with Sewell Service. Will not do business again.
I purchased a new Cadillac XT6 off the show room floor with miles on it due to one of the managers using it prior. When I noticed one of the knobs was damaged, I contacted them immediately to get it replaced. I did not purchase a preowned vehicle and should not be left like this. Almost 2 months and speaking to my sales guy, Jeremy and Kevin, one of the managers there.. it has yet to been taking care of. I’ve called numerous times and left messages on their direct line, and nothing. This is my second vehicle purchased here, and I should have known the customer service was always an issue there. Take your business to Sewell Cadillac. They they give you top notch service. ALWAYS.
My experience was very bad, I called to ask about an Escalade 2021 model that was available so I decided to fill the online application and was approved for the lease the following day and was told to come up there to complete the purchase along with the down payment so I told the salesperson I’d be there in an hour but five minutes after the call I get a call back that it was sold to someone else I couldn’t understand why the dealer is selling the same vehicle to two different customers when the dealer received a positive feed back from a bank although the experience was all through the phone and the loan approval is good for one month, if I don’t find what I’m looking for my credit has taken a hard inquiry which is why Im upset. Although purchasing a vehicle at this time is difficult and expensive I hope they learn from this situation, communication and management is the key.

We purchased 2021 Cadillac Escalade from this dealership It had collision warning light And vehicle only had 85 miles. I was told to get this fixed but I’m not able to stay because I’m from out of town try to get this issue fixed in my town is taking over 30 days issue is still not resolved I’m leaving this feedback because Ron’s Cadillac refusal to do any kind of help I feel like this is the most worst car by experience ever. I paid $140,000 for this car and it is not running right from the beginning still not running right I messaged the supervisor Mike yesterday he still not get back with me he said he was in the meeting must be in the long meeting over 10 hours. I will never buy a car from the seller ship ever
My wife and i were looking to trade in her vehicle and upgrade to a nice used vehicle. After several test drives we decided on a cadilac we both liked. Sat down with the salesman to hammer out a deal. We get our trade value ha.mered out only to be told we are REQUIRED to purchase a $3000 protection plan!. We respectfully declined the protection plan and were told we could not purchase the vehicle without it. I would not waste anothersecond at this dealership nor would i refer an enemy to shop there!!!

My first call I was told their manager would call me back, then I sent an inquiry though your chat function on your website and asked for a call. After two days I called again, spoke with a rep and she stated you do not sell to people out of state. She stated Ill check with my manager and see if there is anything we can do, and call you back, if we can.You have every right to make this decision, I just ask be upfront with your potential customers. If you have no intent in calling them back just let them know.

Mike Piece and Tausif Shah are some of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever met buying cars. I’ve bought BMW’s Audi’s, MB’s, Lexus’s and Infiniti’s and I can tell why GM is going out of business. They seem like they should be working at a buy here pay here lot and offer no luxury buying experience.Please, Please don’t buy your Cadillac here. There’s so many other nicer places with more professional people. I had my car bid at a few other places and they were $10k below every other dealership. They try and sell their cars over MSRP and hold $10,000 on your trade. Their shady business practices will come back and bite them. GM should know how shady they are.Beware!!!!

Her name was Wiem Head and she was very knowledgeable, determined, patient, kind, and was able to get the deal I wanted on a 2021 Cadillac XT6! From finding me the perfect car to ensuring I was able to test drive each potential model, she was on top of it. She has stayed in contact with me following the sale to ensure everything was going smoothly, and that I had all the information I needed. The dealership was very efficient during the entire sale process, and I was in and out for signing! I went to two other dealerships and their customer service paled in comparison to the service I received from both Ron Carter Cadillac and Wiem Head! We called ahead about a particular Escalade that we had seen online only for them to change the price right before we got there and kept adding ‘fees’ the longer we were there. When my Aunt asked if they had a veterans discount (because she is a veteran) the salesman laughed in her face saying she couldn’t possibly be a veteran!!!! If I could give them negative stars I would!!!! THIS PLACE DISRESPECTS VETERANS, DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!

Rude.All the staff here did not acknowledge you. We came in looking for a 2021 Hybrid vehicle but didnt even get the chance to see inventory. We went into the building said hi to the lady in the front desk but she was too busy looking at her phone to even hear us. We walked around in show room but not one sales person came out to talk to us.Definitely not coming back to this Cadillac location. I will make the distance to Tom Peacock Cadillac I hear they have great customer service to all customer.

The sales representative, Lisa, told me that she didnt want to work hard if I was not ready to buy the car now.I was in the market for a new car, but still looking around at options of new/pre-owned. Over the phone, I let them know that I was still looking, and werent sure what we wanted yet, but they told me they were having a deal to give a $50 restaurant gift card if you came in to do a test drive. So I went in for a test drive, but the lady who was originally helping me wasnt available, so Lisa stepped in to help. She was very pushy about the color car that I wanted, and I told her what I preferred, but that the color didnt matter too much right now. We test drove a vehicle that wasnt the preferred color, but again, that didnt matter because we just wanted to get the information. When we got back from the test drive, Lisa told us that she thought we drove to galveston indicating that we took too long. She then proceeded to shove a credit application at me to fill out before asking me any questions about what we wanted to do. Thats when my husband and I let her know that we didnt want to fill it out because we werent sure if we were going to finance, but also werent sure we were purchasing that kind of vehicle. She responded, oh, I thought you were ready to buy today! Before our test drive, she repeatedly mentioned that the car we drove was on special because it was a loaner, but would never actually tell us the price of the vehicle. When we asked about the price of the car, she said its whatever it shows online. (If im there in person, I kind of think its her job to just give me the price instead of making me go look online). We went back and forth a little bit about how we werent ready just yet and then she proceeded to tell me that she didnt want to work so hard if [we were] not ready to buy the car now. (The whole time, she never gave us any numbers on pricing.) Needless to say, I got up and started to leave. She then said no, no, lets look at the prices but by that point I was so frustrated, I told her that I didnt want to waste her time or for her to work too hard, and we left (I didnt even get the gift card I was promised!).During my overall car search with other dealerships, I spoke to plenty of other car salesmen who were friendly, patient, and informative with no pressure. I ended up buying my new car at Gillman Acura instead, where they were extremely helpful and I had a great buying experience.Not only would I never go back here to Ron Carter Cadillac, specifically because of Lisa, but I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone.
Misleading, I’ve had dealerships try to mark up the price 1,000/2,000 dollars but 9,000 dollars even seeing the fact that I have the online price and then trying to tell me the typical “but this is with unlimited warranty” and to think they wanted me to leave a deposit and drive 5 hours. Anybody considering buying at this dealership I would think twice, I’d rather drive a couple more miles to someone who actually takes care of their customers and are straight forward from the get go. If there was less than 1 star I would use it.

He took the time to reach out to me and spent quite a while patiently explaining everything to me. We found out where the misinformation and misunderstanding occurred in the price of my vehicle. He was very empathetic about the situation and addressed each issue. He just seems like a great manager and genuinely nice person who cares about his customers and cares about doing the right thing. I told him from the beginning that i dont like car dealers, we had a laugh and he changed my perspective completely. These people told me I was approved, no money down, just drive 3 hours to the dealership & we have everything taken care of for you .... when I arrived they told me I was not approved but they just told me that because getting me in the door is what is most important. So I had to drive 3 hours all the way back home. Wasted day wasted trip. Time wasters. So I wrote a review here and the next day the GM called me to apologize and offered me $150 in gift cards to cover my gas and expenses if I would take the review down. So I did. And I never received the visa gift cards the GM said he overnighted me.
Originally started off on the wrong foot with this dealership about pricing on a vehicle. They actually called us back and admitted to the mistake that was made on their part. They honored the first price that WAS on the vehicle originally. I can just say that the shows the INTEGRITY of this dealership. 👍🏼👍🏼

**** UPDATE****The service department worked with the sales department, the dealer, and the warranties to get everything covered, after doing more investigating into the issues. Yes it took some prying, but they did come through. So thank you for taking my frustration and getting it corrected.PS I know why you give out such nice loaners. It makes my wife want to up grade.lolWe Purchased a used CTS, a week after we bought it we called in and to schedule to be looked at for scrapping on the windows when we roll it down or up us a few other small issues.They couldn’t get us in till Aug right when the hurricane was hitting and we would of been responsible for the new rental plus the one we pitched too if the hurricane hit. We didn’t want to have some major hurricane take out and be on the hook for both. So they told us that was understandable and would get us in once it cleared up. After a while of never hearing back I called and they said they was still really backed up with cars for loaners. Since these issues were not anything with safety or damage to the car I was patient. I called a few times between sept-January and got the same excuse. I finally called March 1 and made a major issue and they got me in. But now they say it’s been to long after purchase and it’ll be over 3k in fixes. I was told Cadillac had great service department and was above all the rest. I now see that was a lie to get the sale.
I had been looking at Cadillacs on and off for about 3 years but life always seemed to get in the way. So, this past October for my birthday, I decided to pull the trigger. I spent a couple weeks on line to get a good idea of the cost and where to buy. I settled on Ron Carter for two reasons. They had the car I wanted and they were close to my house. I got on line and sent a note to Ron Carter. A salesman named Keith Mujica called me within 15 minutes. I told him what car I was interested in and we made arrangements to meet just before lunch. When I arrived at the dealership Keith had my CT6 ready for a test drive. Beautiful car. Drove like a dream. It was everything I expected.Later that afternoon I was taking home my first Cadillac. Keith and Ron Carter made all the difference. They treated me like family. The entire process couldnt have gone better. Thanks Keith and Ron Carter for my first Caddy.

These people flat out lied to me and got me to drive 3 hours only to tell me when I arrived that yes, they did lie because the most important thing is to get me in the door. So they told me I was already approved no money down just stop what I am doing and drive 3 hours to their dealership. Once I got there I was told none of this was true but they had to convince me to drive all this way somehow.WOW !!!
Benito did a really good job getting the car I wanted at the right price and affordable note. Bobby in the service department at Ron Carter Clear Lake is who convinced me to buy another Cadillac really. He is one heck of a service manager. The man really truly cares about giving good customer service to Ron Carter’s customers! 10 stars for Bobby and Beneto!
Classic dealership that will hold on your trade and not be upfront with you. Take you’re car to multiple dealerships to get other bids, because they tried to hold $7,000 on my Dinali when 3 other dealerships hit it at $48k.Mike the GM at this dealership is very smug and insincere. Do yourself a favor and go check out other Cadillac dealerships first.
Awesome customer service. Nathen Berg made sure I had the best experience possible purchasing my 2021 Escalade. Professional, passionate about the industry, and very easy to talk to all the same. I pre-ordered so I knew I would be waiting a minute til mine arrived. He kept me updated, let me bother him a little in the process, and continued to notify me of any new inventory in stock just in case I wanted to check it out on a weekly basis. Overall cant say enough about my experience working with Nathen. Would highly recommend (and already have).

This dealership is the true definition of horrible customer service. It’s expected for any business to want to profit but the lies and lack of care they show towards their clients is disgusting. Maybe because I am young, maybe because I am black, or maybe because I am female they just did not care about my business, I have not figured it out. But I came in with all my ducks in a row, ready to order/purchase a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, and they continued to give me the run around even to the point that they sold the car they promised was on hold for me to someone else, literally hours before I could make it to the dealership. It’s been months of back and forth. I have had to stay on them about my vehicle order and just when I thought they were gonna do the right thing, they showed me they don’t care about the customer, they care about the dollar instantly. So many Cadillac dealerships, take a lesson from me, go to another one!
Nathen welcomed us the moment we arrived and treated us very well. He walked us through everything and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. If you need a new vehicle, I highly recommend Nathen. He will take care of you!

Very disappointed with Ron Carter Cadillac. I purchased a CPO Escalade and I believe the inspection the vehicle has to go through never got done. I pointed out the back bumper was popping out, the truck shaking at certain speeds, and horrible carpet lifting at the back seat and middle area. After picking up my truck from getting the CPO inspection I noticed scratches that were not there and was filled in with nail polish. I asked for some weather tech mats to cover up the carpet and they ended giving me some used mats that I didnt agree since the first time it was offered. After all this I took the truck for service since the a/c was not cooling properly, the service advisor told me I needed new brakes! Note that when I bought the truck it had 57,181 miles and now it has 58,519 miles. If the truck was submitted to their 172 point inspection, they would have noticed the brakes since then. This tells me that the inspection never got done and sold me without the CPO 172 point inspection. Very very disappointing!

This dealership is referred by Credit Acceptance for buyers with challenged credit & situations. They hype you up to come in & have little to no options for finance. They make tons of promises to follow up but never do. Proper experiences should include provide EVERY customer .... not just ppl with lots of money or excelling credit. Nice looking dealership but terrible experience.It’s common knowledge that it’s up to the lender to make decisions but it is up to the dealer to provide customer service & follow up with the customer to acknowledge them on the DECISION. No follow up, no callback just a bunch of excuses & empty apologies. They make empty promises & waste your time to come their dealership

Mr Charles Jackson greeted me and my wife immediately. To say Mr Jackson went the extra mile is putting it mildly. “Action”Jackson managed to work out a “win-win” for us. We appreciated his tenacity in brokering a deal that was in our best interest. We also appreciated his conservative buying pressure while we were deliberating on the purchase. Mr Jackson continued to cater to our desires after the purchase as well. We asked for pin stripes after the sale and he made it happen with ease. It is apparent Mr Jackson enjoys his profession and his professionalism was truly appreciated. If you want a great car buying experience Charles Jackson is highly recommended.
Zulifiqar was my salesman on 11/13/2020. He walked up to my husband & I and introduced himself. He was very patient & kind. He answered all of our questions & made us feel comfortable as we waited for a finance mgr. He remembered our names after only telling him once & let us know that we can call him after the sell if we had any issues or concerns. He also made good on his word by calling us the next day to see if we were still enjoying our new Cadillac. In 4 yrs, I plan to return to Ron Carter & request for Zulifiqar to be my salesman again.
