The tall tale sign, or litmus test, of a well managed home improvement store is the plumbing isle. Specifically, how well the pic fittings are organized, or not. I went to this location, in Frisco, off Eldorado next to the Costco, and while the stock was low, the fittings were not scrambled. I was easily able to look for and locate the pieces I needed in under 10 minutes. As opposed to going to a competitor and spending over an hour, looking in nearby boxes, because it was such a mess. Good work on this one management and whole team!!
This store always has anything Im looking for. The app is great at telling you exactly where in the store to find an item, and the Home Depot self checkout is the simplest, most efficient Ive ever used. Always a great experience in a minimal amount of time.
Home Depot and my credit cards are very good friends. I wish my credit card was a lot heavier to be even better friends. I always enjoy my time at the Home Depot.
Never call this Home Depot, they never answer, terrible, worst there is
Had an excellent experience at the Frisco Tx location. I needed some plywood cut and the young man accommodated me. Went home and realized I screwed up on measurements. Went back to store and he was kind enough to cut the correct measurements this time. Sorry I didnt his name but he did work in the lumber department.
Great service. Checker grab my cart and checked me out at the self checkout lane and offered me $50 credit for applying for the home depot card. Its a great deal!!! And I was thankful for the discount.
I went to the flower area to purchase some shrubs. It was difficult to find anyone who would help me. The first person i found whom was working cashier at the Nursery area, he had no clue. He was a male. He did not even know what SHRUBS looked like. Then, I walked around for 15 minutes until I found a woman, whom for purpose of this review, we will refer to her as KAREN, even though that is not her real name. Maybe a woman in her mid to upper 50s. white woman, thin, with short hair. SHe was terrible and with an attitude. A very rude person. ANd extrmely not helpful. Most of all, Karen was extremely condescending to me when I asked for help. Stay away from her!! Suffice it to say, she never went to show me what I was looking for, so I left without a purchase. I did buy what I needed from LOWES down the street.
Really enjoy this store, the customer service is outstanding, the staff is knowledgeable, or if they dont know three answer they make sure and find someone who does. They only regrets is it can be a bit far away big luckily they are building a closer one to my house...I cant say enough about the staff at this location. Great job guys!
Recently went to this location and Gordon in the tools section was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He took the time to take me to multiple aisles to get what I needed for a home project and he explained to me the best products at the best value! Along the way when other customers stopped to ask him questions, he was kind, patient, and provided great customer service to myself and the others. I felt valued as a customer and I could also tell that Gordon enjoys helping people. Great experience today!
The customer service at this location is stellar! We picked up a Traeger grill/smoker on Fatherβs day and 3 very nice young men carried it out, helped us load it and they were super sweet. When we got it home and and started cooking it had some unseen flaw in the hood that caused it to leak smoke and let in air that really made it hard to finish the food. The next morning I called this store and asked for a manager and Debbie answered my call. She was amazing. She solved my problem and scheduled an exchange in short order. Next I got a call from Randy who was organizing the assembly and delivery of a new Traeger. I told them I wasnβt in a hurry so not to worry. They arranged delivery today! We are super satisfied customers and, after living in the area 22 years and frequenting many stores, I have to say these guys were the best!Kudos! And Randy, you are the bomb! Even my other family members commented how nice you were!
I picked up a riding mower i ordered on line. The curbside service was outstanding. Zak was the associate that not only made sure the mower fit into my truck but was tied down well. He gave 110%
Tool rental is a joke. Two days in row and two trucks, a light was out on there trailer and they blamed my truck and my bosses both pull trailers with lights on a daily basis . biggest waste of time ever. Do not recommend. Go to lowes, ace hardware, or u rent it.
The store is clean and its not difficult to locate whatever I am looking got normally. I usually always meet friendly and helpful employees. They usually have things in stock that I find online, whereas other locations I have found stock information is apparently incorrect sometimes.
Meh. Had to order my item. who drives to buy something only to ORDER it through them? I just ordered it from the manufacturer as I was standing in line and left. Paid lower price and now it will be delivered right to my door.
You just cannot talk to someone at local store over phone. I have been trying to do just that for 3 days
My store! Iβm here at least once a week. You can also rent their vehicles here(whether moving or needing a moving truck to move furniture etc..), itβs only $25 for 75 minutes! ππΎππΎππΎππΎ
The nicest place to be is? Home Depot. Always somebody helping me out.
Good selection of materials and fair prices. Could not get anybody to help me with power tools I knew what I wanted but they were Locke in a cage and associates were rude and didnt want to help
Was on the phone waiting for over 30 minutes just to get pricing for materials and to schedule delivery, and the only help I got was being transferred from dept to dept. I dont know if the in person customer service is adequate, but this location is absolutely horrendous when it comes to helping customers over the phone.
There were spaces and the most checkouts had no lines at approx. 7:30 pm. I always use site to locate items. I really like that it provides isle and bay numbers to locate items and I dont have to download the app(since it would be used rarely). Everything I needed was in stock.
Think I could go to home depot everyday! With the winter storm killing just about everything, we have been frequent visitors to the lawn and gardening center. With so many people doing the same thing as us, the home depot team has done a great job keeping up with the customers. From the checkout area to the car loading I truly appreciate how hard the staff is working. Especially when the kiddos are with us and timing is everything. Another key thing is that the parking lot has plenty of room around the gardening area to pull up, load up and not be in the way.
Lousy location with anemic inventory. Needed several products (bird spikes and mounting supports) but no inventory in store. Ordered for pickup and items took almost 3 weeks to arrive! Same products would have arrived faster with other eCommerce vendors. When product delivered it was NOT as described or pictured and was incomplete. Waited three weeks to complete a home project and will now have to shop elsewhere. Total waste of time and money shopping at this location.
Maybe Im partial to Lowes but I feel like they have more of a selection than Home Depot and a larger overall space. Not impressed with tile and flooring nor the paint color choices. And it took a long time to get thru the line. They had one register open with 8 people in line. But I will say the woman working in the customer service area was spot on, nice, professional, efficient with time and a problem solver. She was probably the best part about my visit which wasnt the purpose of my visit.
Needed a drill bit and was able to get in and out in less than 5 minutes!
Poor customer service? Only one checker and line is backed up to middle of lumber...No parking for truck with trailer....Really dislike this home depot... I spend60k a year at HD... but this is the worst from all stores!!
Had a great experience with picking out an outdoor light fixture.....Stephen was very helpful.
Had someone in front of me in the pro line. Cashier said I needed to go to another lane because he was done. Had 30 bags of concrete on my cart
Its hit or miss with this place. Sometimes employees are very helpful, other times very aloof & apathetic.
I want to thank James in lawn and garden for taking the time to look up a spark plug number and let me know it had been discontinued and give me the new part number so I could order a new one. Great customer service. Also want to thank Vee for great customer service in checking me out and making sure I had someone to load my purchase. Such a nice lady and funny.
Its time for George in the paint department to go! Bring in people who can actually facilitate orders. Ive never gotten the amount of attitude from someone as I did him because I wasnt waiting in front of the piece of tape. After standing their for a solid 5 minutes I said Hello and his response was the line starts by the piece of tape Hes entered my phone number into the so called system on 3 separate occasions yet still when I give him the number he tells me Im not in the system. Stop hiring grumpy people who are miserable at their jobs.
Always clean and the workers are very helpful.
I picked up an order from the N Frisco store and I received items that were both open used & defective. I purchased 48 in LED tube lights . When I picked up box I could hear items damage & when taken out of box. It was visibly broken & the other had burn damage. The agent who brought item to car could see items were broken & opened. I tried calling store and someone is just pushing call to recorder. Customer Service is a joke.
If you feel like wasting 40 mins go to paint department.
Found what we needed and staff was awesome getting it down. π
Really poor service at this paint counter. Ive been here twice and both times its been painful to get acknowledged and served. I feel that theses old whie men continue to treat women as though they are either invisible or just plain stupid. Not impressed.
Im not happy about the filter game they play here. The selection is based on corporate decisions as opposed to the local market. Im an HVAC tech and I hear the complaint about the awkward sizes that are unavailable locally. Thank goodness Amazon will sell them the right size they need. My other complaint is the filter quality ratings. MERV vs FPR vs Whatever filtrete uses. Put up a sign explaining the difference and reduction of air flow so homeowners can be informed. RANT OVER.I really like Home Depot and buy lots of stuff here. I just gotta speak out about that filter game!
Tiffany really went above and beyond to help me with my washer and dryer set. The first dryer I ordered wasnβt the right size. Tiffany helped me find one with the right dimensions and researched it for me because the website was hard to find the dimensions. All the gentleman in washer and dryer appliances were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service
Lots of help. Quick in and out.
I have been a regular customer of this store for the last five years and purchased many items. Every time I had a great experience.
Iβm a DIY kind of guy, and often have home projects going on.Jose in plumbing is the man to ask for! His knowledge and expertise is remarkable. Heβs always friendly to work with and cares about his customers.Be sure to ask for him the next time your in the store.
They ainβt got everything, but theyβre great in a pinch and for the weekend DIYβer.
Teresa over in the paint department is an absolute pain. She repeatedly told me I canβt get my paint mixed a certain way. I basically spent half an hour arguing with her telling her how it is possible and then she finally did it rolling her eyes. She was adamant on making a point that she knows so much about how things are done at Home Depot rather then giving the customer what they want when they specifically ask for their paint to be a certain way. Iβd definitely go to another Home Depot next time to avoid dealing with her.

One of the best restaurants out there. The Sawdust topped wrenches were a little dry but the WD-40 sauce on top made up for it.The screw filled soup really packed a punch, as the Spicy Latex Paint mixed in was made with real latex, Spicy! The Desert dish was immaculate.Fried kitchen sponges with extra Car wash soap drizzled on top. Will be visiting again!
Was great, except for the way the door manager treated the handicapped door boy, in the wheelchair - talked down to him like he was plain stupid! I found great offense to this! Im handicapped, and if she had talked that way to me - shed be looking for another job today!
I enjoy walking through this store and viewing all the materials they offer for sale.
This place has everything and the associates were so helpful.
My return was fast and easy. The garden shop was full of annual and perennial options. Plus, lavender is in!!! π
HD had what I needed in stock and Christian made my visit 10x better. I see other folks have mentioned him in their 5 star reviews as well. Management, please take notice. He was very friendly and quickly took care of several customers.
Hung up on all because I was unaware what department of a Home Depot would carry Dampening Grease. I hesitantly said Hardware? but I am unsure and he hung up on me. Heard a sigh and boom the phone was disconnected. Work on your customer service, Home Depot.
Nice Home Depot store with a great garden center in Frisco Texas.
I like this one, not as crazy packed as others. But as well laid out as others.
Finding all your home improvement diy materials is great, but dont count on customer service speed and knowledge
I see all the employees standing around doing nothing. We check our own products out. There is always an issue at the register. I loved it when every worker in the store new exactly where everything was and checked us out, actually doing something. There is absolutely NO customer service in this store now. I donβt get it. Please go back to the way it was. I always loved going here.
Mostly, I love home depot. Went to get woods so I could work in a little house project of mine.I got help to cut the woods. All these pieces were supposed to be of the same size, but they are all different. They are useless to me now. I could have done better with hacksaw. Disappointed.I hope homedepot will keep experienced folks with the machine.
Very nice people. Took the time to answer all of my questions and make sure I had what I needed to finish my project.
As good as can be expected. Got the help I needed with no problem!
This store seemed to have employees, but not product!
We had a great experience. We purchased a BBQ grill yesterday afternoon. Jake from Home Depot and his fellow worker were just great.I didnt catch both of their names but one offered to put it in his truck and deliver it. We thought that was too much to accept so we went home and got a different vehicle but then realized we were going to have a difficult time getting it out and into the backyard. So Jake offered to stop by on his way home and help us. My wife and I are older and my knee is very painful now so we took him up on his offer. Jake was just getting off work so he came over pretty quickly and helped us. He is a great guy and his parents have brought him up well. Home Depot is lucky to have him as an employee. Kudos to Jake.
Loved the Frisco HD better than the 6809 HD
They are horrible service I was calling to get my Storage houes on my location on my house and they dont answer they make you go to the store for no resen 2 rime no help at all and I talk to the manager no answer an desaponted.
The atmosphere was great..the waitress was the most friendliest..polite and considerate ..i will go back simply because of her excellent service.the manager also was very courteous and spoke to everyone...and the food was fresh and deliscious as usual..great restaurant..
Home Depot always has what I need and the Frisco location employees are always super helpful.
Staff dont seem to care. Often out of basic stuff and takes forever to get any assistance. Try a different location.
Associates are always helpful. Makes for a quick visit.
Friendly and helpful staff. They need more checkout lines
Second time that a person near the door could not find someone in the lighting area to help me. This particular location must be struggling to find knowledgable employees. Other HDs are typically very good.
This store has the rudest employees. There are also out of stock on everything. Never again will I go to the Frisco store
Dirtiest home depot ive been to. Messy, boxes on the floors and down the aisles, employees walking right past everything. No pricetags on anything in lumber, cashiers screaming to each other from across the entire front of store. Zero order. Will go to Lowes.
Dishwasher was installed, installers were nice; but the dishwasher stops and gives an error code about 10 mins in after the installer left. The soonest theyll get someone here is in a week from today.First rep I spoke to told me I need to contact Samsung even though I bought the 5 year warranty from Home Depot. They dont know Samsung as well as Samsung so we need to use Samsungs warranty first. This was my first, and will be my last, major appliance I purchase from Home Depot.Theyre good for most stuff in-store, but delivery of a defective product and then telling me you signed for it, its yours less than an hour after a failed install and telling me I get to wait a week to a month to get back to me is completely ridiculous.
Employees are very helpful
Im am sorry to said that the employee are pathetic and not helpful, with an attitude like this, they wont go very far.
Helpful staff and plenty in stock.
Home Depot has everything you need! Customer Service in general has fallen off! And I dont mean specifically the people at the customer service desks. It is tough to get help without approaching someone and asking!
This has to be the worst managed home depot in the metroplex . 30 people doing inventory and they still dont have items needed . also why do people have to stand in line so long to check out when there are so many extra people not really doing anything ..
Cant say enough about the customer service. Christin is a Shining example of what Home Depot should be. Ann Marie take note she could be your replacement.
Gentleman working at the Tool rentals department refused to rent a Shop vac. After informing that I would use the Dry/Wet shop vac to remove pebbles from my yard, helper refused to rent it saying thats not what this is for. Staff should be more knowledgeable. Thousands of people use a shop vac for this purpose (just search shop vac to remove pebbles from your lawn), and this use would not affect in any way the tool. I am keeping two stars because the gentleman was polite.
I wanted to buy a cordless drill set. We requested someone be paged and waited for someone to assist after the page. Unfortunately no one showed up so I will make my purchase elsewhere. Usually everyone is very helpful.
Very helpful staff, always there to answer questions.
Seems there are never any employees available to help you. Maybe its just me but its the same in other towns
If you are a contractor/construction professional do anything you can to buy your bulk materials elsewhere. 99% of the time there is only 1 checkout open (out of the 4) on the commercial/PRO side so youβll be waiting a while to check out (while employees are standing around looking at you nonetheless). I donβt understand why this Home Depot canβt figure out how to take care of their volume customers. If you are the DIY type this place has good selection and generally keeps things in stock.
Nice clean store. Lot of out of stocks in the electrical tool aisle.
They need to step up their gardening section. Lowes has them beat by far!!
The best one..
Needed assistance with something. Stood around waiting for 10 plus minutes to be assisted with not one employee to come help. Even after being asked if we needed help and 2 intercom pages. Guess people really do get paid to not work.
I want to give 5 stars to Home Depot only for the treatment I received in the Lumber department from Dom. He was very helpful and patient in answering my questions. It was nice to be treated in a friendly manner.
I walked up to a gentleman in the outdoor gardening area to ask a simple question of if you carried a specific plant. He directed me to walk through the front entrance. I understand the need to keep a head count on in and out to keep at low capacity but you can still answer the question without multiple times directing me to the front without at least saying β I donβt know β or β let me find outβ any kind of response to the question
Itβs 9:10 on a Saturday night and lights are out in the parking lot with store lights on. Staff is motivated to close. Store is set to close at 10pm yet parking lot is decently packed. As we walked the store, numerous staff just passed us without greeting. When we got to checkout, numerous cashiers pointed us to self checkout. One cashier helped another customer at self check out but other customers were pointed to self checkout. Not sure why I have to self checkout when I donβt work for Home Depot. Sometimes self check out is great for a quick item but not my favorite method with lumber or high priced items.I am a frequent user of Home Depot and just moved to this area where this would be my store. Hopefully this is a one off night.
Seemed like every other aisle was blocked-off for restocking...preventing me from getting many items i wanted. Would it be better to do this when the store is closed?
I always enjoy shopping in slow motions looking at what I can upgrade and my wife is with me. Lately the store is fully stock. And everyone is wearing their mask.
The one thing I like that homedepot has done is put all the COVID Health safety in front of the store entrance. What I dont like is the self check out.
Has items you cant find at Lowes.
