Black Friday on November 3rd???? Got me all confused af! But new automatic wheelchair that stops way better than older models which gives you whiplash!!

I like going there for the curbside of my groceries, the kids are friendly n polite. The groceries substitution could be nice if was a option for a meat to replace with another if you dont have that product in stock, (example on things that need substitution). They just need to keep a better inventory of groceries.

They change the dates on their bakery items to save on waste. Absolutely unacceptable to do something like that. I showed the bakery worker and she shrugged and said I wonder who did that. Like, what?

An associate named Phyllis went above and beyond to provide customer service excellent for my grandson to be able to return cans and bottles yesterday. Both bins were full and she took the time to get key, empty the bins and reset the machines for him to be able to accomplish the task! Way to go Phyllis!! You are amazing.

This place is great. Almost always has what I need in stock. Staff is usually great, with rare exceptions but hey, we all have bad days. Store is very clean and well laid out. Huge self checkout area for us anti-social people.

A little out of the way; not particularly convenient to anything else. A solid representation of a standalone Walmart. The automotive center personnel were nice and accommodating. Tires were ready for pick-up in minutes but appointments were unavailable despite there being bays open (possibly understaffed). The prepared food section was small and sparse especially compared to similar sized Walmarts but there were a ludicrous 20 self checkout lanes. This location also has a Subway.

Nice selections all around, nice friendly folks. Clean and well organized. Would like to see them expand fishing and hunting area/ offerings.

They are a big store and have a lot more than the other Walmarts in my area i.e. Lunenburg. Love that they are a super center and have the food area also.

Its like every other Walmart so either:1. the shelves are completely/mostly stocked, but theres a lot of people (customers and workers) and it seems like its everyones first time ever being inside of a WalmartOR2. the shelves are sparse and even devoid of certain products, which are usually the things youre going there for, but theres less customers. Still a million workers tho. Especially from 7pm+That being said, Gardner Walmart is not my least favorite in terms of people since the workers are kind and always help whenever Ive asked. It is my least favorite in terms of product availability and variety. There are probably thousands of things I can purchase in Lunenburg or Leominster that will never be made available to purchase in Gardner.

They wouldnt bring my groceries out bc of a thunderstorm. Guess how many people die each year from a lightning strike? 50, you gotta better chance of dying mowing your lawn. Worst pickup experience ever. Will not be back.

The store is amazing. The people who work there are awesome. But I have one complaint. There is this loud pitched noise that is constantly on in the Garden Center. Every time I shop there my ears are attacked by this noise.

What’s up with this place? Shelves all empty, grumpy employees?Also, when I was at self checkout. The attendant practically arrested me because I left a case of water on the bottom of my cart. I wasn’t even done scanning and probably would have noticed.And then when I’m making my way out the attendant at the door asks to see my receiptI said whyHe said because of the water on the bottom of the cartGood grief

Some supply chain issues but its nice having a Walmart so close to home.

Friendly service all associates very helpful and pleasant. I went in for clothes for my teenage daughter they didnt have much and what I did find was nothing smaller than a large. Needed small or extra small. Also needed a popular adapter for an ipad they did not have.

Good except the gardening department. Not really their fault no one there knows about gardening not a requisit. Plants can be good if you get them before they are there for too long.

The only Wal-Mart I will shop at in Walmart Supercenter in Gardner.

Honestly, not too shabby. Pretty much have anything youd need. Mens department is definitely lacking - hit up the West Boylston one if you want a good selection of Walmart clothes. HUGE self-checkout area. I know that is a personal preference thing, but I find it absolutely great - rarely is there a line at all, making it all the easier to be in and out of the store.

We love the Gardner Walmart Supercenter. They are excellent on letting us know how the order is going, and give us a chance to accept or refuse items.The personal bringing our orders out have ALL been extremely polite.

I sent my engagement ring in to be resized down from a 7 to a 6 and we said it was a couple of years ago that it was bought here. And the lady said it would take 4 to 6 weeks.Well after 4 weeks called and they said it wasnt ready to pick up yet. So we called at 6 and still nothing. So we called again after 8 weeks and we were transferred 5 times and no one could find it or tell us anything. So we went there and a women mediately found it in a drawer and told us even she thought that Walmart would resize rings anytime if bought there. It had never even left the store and then they told us that they only resize ring within 6 months of purchasing it. But we had been told we could bring it back anytime. The women who found it apologized to us, even though it wasnt her fault, but the lady who had messed up didnt even say sorry. The manager did settle the matter. But from now on Im just going to a jeweler.Besides the jewelry department bombing, the store is neat and clean and organized.

Large selection of items at low prices. Employees can be helpful and often friendly. On the bad side the property is covered in trash, anything they sell has been littered and not cleaned up. Years of trash piling up causing environmental dangers and the company makes no efforts to clean their premises.

Always difficult to find my size in the clothing section because it’s all out of order. The racks aren’t fixed enough after customers look through them. But I love Walmart

Although I do come here for convenience purposes sometimes while passing through Gardner, I dont think I would recommend this Walmart for many reasons. It can be hard to find what youre looking for. Some employees dont know where anything is, even though they work here & could care less if customers cant find what they need. I was just here yesterday & asked a young male who appeared to work in the grocery section where Powerade was & he told me he had no idea. Not knowing where something is isnt a huge deal. But not offering to look into it for a customer is just plain lazy, or he couldve directed me to another employee that couldve better helped me, but chose not to. Other employees cant tell you whether sale items are actually on sale or not & numerous items are marked down, but when you scan them at price scanners located throughout the store, they ring up full price. This was the case yesterday for multiple items, including a specific type of ladies Secret deodorant that was supposedly a rollback to $2 + change, but rang up regular price of over $4, also Vicks pads that claimed to be on clearance that also rang up full price. They also dont seem to restock enough, which is a common problem for many Walmart stores, not just Gardner. They rarely have Equate plus nutrition shakes, only the regular ones & Ive gone here twice in the past month for a certain kind of face makeup (Neutrogena loose mineral powder) in my shade Buff, which they sell here, but have been out of. I can see a product being out of stock for a few days, but an entire month?! Thats a bit ridiculous in my opinion. They had plenty of the very light & very dark makeup shades in this brand, that are clearly not as popular as the middle toned shades. I dont understand why they cant order more of something if its a big seller at their location. Ware Walmart also has this problem with both the shakes & makeup. But back to the Gardner store...they also had face masks (type to protect against Covid) on sale a few months ago in a 3-pack. I asked a nearby middle aged female employee who was stocking things in that particular section about whether the masks were really that low a price, to which she replied she did not know & offered no further assistance to me. I then brought the masks to two young employees (one male, one female) in the sewing/linen section of the store to ask them about the price of the masks. They had no clue, but at least offered to look it up. Turns out, they were not on sale at all. I explained that there was a bunch of these type of masks on the rack all marked down for a price that obviously wasnt accurate, so the young male offered to help by contacting another sales associate to see if they would allow me to buy them at the sale price, seeing as I got them on false advertisement. I declined, seeing as I was already in a bit of a hurry, and had spent long enough looking into the masks. I didnt want to have to beg for Walmart to do what was right. So instead I just bought them at full price anyhow, to save time & aggravation. Another time, we needed help & could not find an employee anywhere in multiple sections of the store. Toys are also marked down that arent really on sale here. This has happened to me in just about every part of this store. Only good things I can say about this store is that many of the prices are reasonable, I just wish they wouldnt falsely mark things to be on sale all the time that arent. Another positive experience I had was purchasing a laptop (Chromebook) recently for my son. The young lady in electronics was helpful + courteous & made buying a laptop simple & quick. She also offered the protection plan, which I did add to my purchase. Its not the worst Walmart ever, but definitely not the best. Also, ALL self checkouts are credit card only purchases, no cash allowed. I asked the reason, they claim it is because of a national coin shortage, yet other Walmart stores allow cash purchases at self checkout stations. This makes for a much longer wait time! Best bet to shop elsewhere.

45 MINUTES just to check out!! 30 custoemrs in line to check out and ONLY 2 registers open. Watching an older woman in front of me get shakier and shakier the longer she waited. Beyond ridiculous!!! 😡

Really was disappointed that only 2 cashiers working at afternoon and on a weekend. I prefer cashier do not used self checkout as i always dun into an issue and have to look for someone to help which is a hard task when disabled 😪😪

The grocery department has a good selection of items and prices are really good.

Wait time to checkout was ridiculous. Two registers open, at least 10 people in each line. Instead of opening another register they say self checkout is open, no wait. Im not shopping and helping local businesses to be able to help pay employees and then have to check myself out.

The store shelve seem to be more bare more often. Items a they say arent available when you use pick up or delivery may be available if you go in yourself.

A lot of the shelves where bare in all departments. My qustion is, is this store closing?

An older cashier lady watched me grab a empty cart from next to the restrooms at the time I didnt notice it was. Instead of her tell me that empty cart was some bodys she goes to talk about me to her customer. Like Im not going to hear when where right across from each other. So I nicely told her if she had said something to me about instead talking about to to the customer she had I would of left it.

I love walmart so many things to choose from, and you can always get what you want and need and the people are always helpful. There always busy, but always efficient. And safe.

Why are the freezers and refrigeration at the gardner Walmart almost always empty?I tried two days in a row and both times dairy section was empty. The first time all freezers were empty. This seems to be a common occurrence.

Gardner, MA Store lighting is dark, many empty shelves, customers not following social distancing, lots of customer service associates standing around chatting/on break but with long lines at the registers.The highlight was 2 customer service associates in electronics - Diane from the South Shore and a tall dark haired young man (The Wizard?) who were so very helpful to every customer they waited on!! Phenomenal service!! Fantastic!! Thank you

It had plenty of stock!! I found my 3 lil ladies their Easter gifts and also pick up seed for my birds and canned food for my spoiled rotten dog!! I very rarely go to Walmart because I hate buying stuff not made in the USA or I buy from alot of small businesses!!

For a medium-sized store, this place is good. The associates work diligently to keep the shelves stocked and are almost always pleasant and helpful. The variety of options are limited only by the size of the store.

Doors were locked 15 minutes before closing. They have also lied about there being a coin shortage when there isn’t one. They say “cards only” at night, and give you a huge problem if you have cash.

They never have more two cashiers working and those two ladies move slower than molasses in January. (They are sweethearts.) The employees do not socially distance or follow their own store guidelines as to which way to walk. Self checkout didnt scan my items and I found myself loudly asking, does anyone work here?, repeatedly. With no response or sight of an employee, I left.That place is a petri dish with zero customer service.
