Jennifer Villalobos is the ONLY person that I trust with my brows. 💖💖💖 I miss getting my brows done pre-covid though because Ulta would allow the brow experts to fill them in and I would get non-stop compliments on my brows after Jennifer shaped & filled them in. She is a master brow expert and I would recommend her to everyone.

LOVE this store! I am a regular at Ulta but this was my first time at this location-- and I will be back! I needed help picking out foundation and finding some other items and everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful!In addition, Jennifer at the benefit brow bar did my brows for me, and she was so sweet, nice and did an AMAZING job!! Thank you!Also, the manager Kate, helped me with picking out hair care products and was super nice and patient and answered all my questions--- seriously, the people at this store are awesome!

I really wanted to love my hair. The ladies were saying how good it looked and its a beautiful color but way darker than I asked for. I tried to give it a week because I was told it would fade but I just couldnt. I asked if she could lighten it a bit more and she started to quote me for highlights (I got highlights and full color). I just spent $260 on hair youd think they would fix it since it wasnt what I wanted. I was told since there is nothing wrong with the color it doesnt fall under the redo category. Hello its not want I wanted!! Ive been waiting a week for the manager to call me back to talk about it and still nothing.They know how to do hair and theyre fun just pray its exactly what you want or theyll quote you another 100+ to fix it.

I went to this Ulta in Garland on a serious budget with specific items in mind. I was asked if I needed assistance and was pointed in the direction I needed to go, no sales pitches. (This is a plus for me.) Now, when I did have a question about a product is where i really felt that the sales representative cared about the customers satisfaction, not just the sale. I was looking at something for about $18, but hadnt used this type of product before. I asked if she would recommend it, or was there something better, and she took me to a product that was half the price, and there is no buyers remorse! She also recommended another product that I didnt know existed and a less expensive and just as effective setting spray, both of which I am really happy with. I wish i had gotten her name because she was wonderful. The location was clean, organized, and priced like every Ulta Ive ever been to.

Customer service here is straight up trash. All the employees are rude and disrespectful. They judge based on how you look and decided on whether or not they want to greet you as you walk in or even bother to ask if you need help or have any questions. A bunch of stuck up girls who think they’re better than everyone else. Shouldn’t be working retail if they can’t handle working with people. Simple. GM needs to find a whole new helpful and attentive staff.

Horrendous customer service. They like to pick and choose which customers get what gift with purchase. My friend and I both bought benefit but she only got the gift and they wouldn’t let me have one even though both of us got same product. Before anyone says anything, We could clearly see they had a lot of those gifts. EQAULITY OF CUSTOMERS should be priority.

Hello. I just left the Ulta store in firewheel mall, in Garland, TX. I am very disappointed. I love makeup and skincare products and love going to Ulta, but I will never return. My business and money will be given to Sephora. Customer Service is everything to me, but today that wasnt to your employees. I have money mine spends just like any other race does. I walked into the store no greeting or anything, the lady at the door stares at me disgustingly and says nothing. I could not find not one employee to assist me with what I needed help finding. No one offered assistance. 5 minutes after I walked there was a white lady that walked into the store and the same lady who stared me down greeted this woman with a smile and said Welcome to Ulta, do you need help finding anything? I am not pulling the race card or even saying that I was racially profiled, but I will I was not greeted with the same customer service experience as the white lady. For that reason I will not be returning and maybe your company should train its employees how not to racially profile someone.Thanks

Customer service here is terrible. All the employees are rude, they look at you and judge you based on how you look. I came in looking for a particular item and overheard a male employee talking to another employee on how he hates when customers ask him to color match them and people who don’t even know how to use makeup. He ignored me didn’t even ask if I needed help and rolled his eyes when I try to reach behind him to get a product, since he couldn’t move when I said excuse me. He just ignored me and kept talking to his friend about other customers.

Alyssa just checked me out at 8:12. I expressed to her how I called this specific store about 20 minutes ago to see if they had a product I was looking for online I was advised they did not have it, so I called Mesquite Ulta they told me I can look online to see if it’s in stock at garland location before I drive all the way out to thier location. I looked and saw it was in stock at the Garland location so I drove to the garland location purchased it also avoided having to drive to Mesquite thanks to the associate in Mesquite. I expressed to Alyssa my concerns as far as I had to go online to see if they had in stock after I called and was told they did not have it in stock all alyssa had to say was OK she did not seem to care at all she actually seemed like she wanted to hurry up check me out and get me out the door. Now I understand if it was busy or if there was a long line there was no line it was not busy at all And usually when I deal with ANY associates at the garland location they are always extremely nice and extremely thoughtful and always helpful I don’t know if she was having a bad day or a long day or what it was but she was not happy nor was she helpful nor did she show any concern about my frustration. Again this is my favorite Ulta store but an associate like this makes me want to drive all the way to Mesquite considering when I called Mesquite they were very helpful over the phone and advise me I can go online to see where they have the product in stock garland did not tell me that when I called I never even knew I could do that until I was educated thanks to the Mesquite associate.

Everyone has always been pretty friendly to me here. The 10 minute facial is a good treat yoself moment. Its just smart to take the old makeups off and get a good moisturize with quality products before abusing the high end testers. My cashier, Darlene, was very cool; 7pm & she was still passing out the free samples at checkout from that mornings too faced promotion. Love that! (too faced love flush ftw)

The lady who was checking us out at the counter was very polite and courteous, she gave us a gift from the purchase we made, however another lady intervenes and takes the gift away saying that we do not qualify for that particular gift..... so my question to her was .... do you normally give out gifts and then snatch them away from your customers..... I felt like that was highly unprofessional and deamining. Please treat your customers with respect.

Do NOT get eye lash extensions from the Salon at Ulta. I had to go back two days later to get them removed because of the pain and eye infection that was developing. I woke up with crusty, irritated eyes and I knew something was wrong. My eyelashes were glued from the roots into one large clump, making it impossible to brush them. I tried to separate them but the lashes would fall in clumps. Some of the lash extensions were glued from the middle of the strand so every time I blinked the ends would poke my lash line/eyelids. The removal was a nightmare. I had to run out of there with sunglasses on because my eyes were bloodshot red, irritated, and sensitive (they felt like I had sand in them!). I attempted to get a refund but the Salon Manager was never there when I called to speak to her. I gave up on the $150 refund after leaving multiple messages. Save your eyes from the pain and save your money/time.

This was actually my second time at this store. I went in and was helped by Nadia and another friendly employee on foundation and skin care. I gave it 5 stars because ulta needs more friendly faces and employees with great customer service. The first time I went in I wasnt acknowledge. Thank you Nadia and to the other wonderful beauty guru who assisted. I was checked out by Lauren - please tell her to smile and greet the customers. She must of been in a hurry bc she didn’t ask if I had any help or found everything alright. She didn’t even mention my ulta points. Overall it was nice and clean.

First time to this Ulta and I found some good deals on clearance and some Too Faced lip stain I wanted to try and at the checkout the lady was mumbling and rude about the coupon. So I asked if she could repeat herself because I couldn’t understand her and she said it again with an attitude and then told me my total and I said “no that’s ok, I don’t need anything now” and left. I have been buying stuff from Ulta for years and have been to many Ulta stores and this is the first time I felt embarrassed and disrespected.

I was looked down upon for not wanting a $50 bottle of foundation. When I went to ask her for other options she walked off. I followed her and she started working on a display and told me to wait. Very poor store set up. I parked right in front of the door, which happened to be EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY and was locked! My choices were: (1) walk all the way around the building to the other side where the doors are open; or (2) cut through Barnes & Noble next door (wonder how Barnes & Noble feels about that). It freaked me out a little being in a store with only one working entrance. In case of fire, how do you get out the emergency door? Does the help have to open it? Im surprised that is allowed by the fire department.

2 times I have gone into the store and Ive felt like the sales associates have been rude. Not all but there are 2 in particular. My first encounter, I asked to get color matched and the SA swatched near my eye without asking permission, then continued to swatch on my forehead when clearly I pulled my hair back for her to swatch closer to my neck.Today I went in, and I was asked if I needed help with deciding between colors. I showed her the items I got and she snatched them out of my hands THREE times ever so rudely. I do not understand this. My sisters and I (Madison, Dylan, and me aka emma) we’re looking for a setting spray at the ulta at fire wheel and we couldn’t decide what to get and one of the workers she said her name was (Mackenzie) came up to us and helped us, she was so nice and patient listing to what kind of product we wanted and she mixed me up a cream for my chemical burn which worked amazingly, she was the sweetest and most patient person I’ve ever met, she said that she related to our background and knew exactly what we should get from experience, very happy with our visit!

I walked into this location on a Tuesday afternoon (around 1pm). I walked past 3 employees who didnt acknowledge me at all.The 4th one asked if I needed help which I was so grateful because I was looking for only one product and didnt know where it was located. However, she must be new because she didnt know which product I was talking about or where it is. That perhaps explain her willingness to help me in the 1st place. She asked another employee nearby.This young woman did not make eye contact with me and only talked through the 1st employee. But she led both of us to the right section so Im ok with that. I ended up not purchasing anything because they actually didnt have the right product I wanted (even though the website said it was in stock). I didnt feel like walking around to look for another employee to ask if theyve it in the backroom because the 1st time felt like pulling teeth. I just walked out the store as fast as possible.It was my first time visiting an Ulta Beauty store, and it will probably my last. I will never come back to this location again; thats for sure. The layout made it feel like an abandoned warehouse, anyways, which is why I had difficulty looking for the product I wanted in the 1st place.I dont know what the hiring process is like, but it seems like this location has young women who wants to get paid but dont want to put in the work at all. I guess they view the customers as an annoyance, and it shows.0/10 would NOT recommend.

The stock was an absolute mess when I came in. Opened products were misplaced and there were tons of empty slots in the nyx section, though honestly thats a problem at almost every Ulta. Staff were polite and offered help without hovering too much. Just really wish it werent so difficult to find products that are indicated as in stock online.

Its a little daunting stopping by Ulta because most of the employees tend to stare you down (I hardly wear makeup, and I stock three times a year or when I run out) my trips tend to be in and out here because I have horrible anxiety. They do always have what I need, and the store is usually kept up well and clean. I like being able to test items. They tend to have frequent sales as well.

Get cheaper prices online. Store keeps a record of your purchase for only 60 days. If your $100+ hair care device fails on day 61 and you cant find your receipt....no exchange, no refund. All other companies in the 21st century have records of your purchase.

She asked did I mine it being opened and I told her yes because its a gift. I also told her but there is another one in the back on the shelf. I found what I came in for, however I struggled to find Shea Moisture products that hadnt already been opened and used . The MAJORITY of what was in stock was missing 1/4-1/2 of the product and I got lucky enough to get the last unopened conditioner in the Manuka honey line. Never again will I have anyone touch my hair there. The skill set is not there for what they charge. They charge like its a salon in Dallas. My hair was orange like Cheeto dust on your fingers and the roots were white as snow. I asked for a toner and it still wasnt fix. The stylist kept saying it would tone down in a few weeks and suggested purple shampoo. I had to go to another salon to fix the mistake. Ulta charged 200.00 for cut and color. Btw the cut made me look like Draco Malfoy. It was another 200.00 at another salon to do color correction and cut correction. Do not let Mary the stylist go near your hair.

I LOVE this store. The Clinique women are always so helpful and so are many of the other workers and they have SOO many different testers throughout the entire store. Its got every brand you can think of. They even have really obscure brands. Theyve got Clinique, Maybelline, Nyx, ELF, bareMinerals, Revlon, and SO much more. The only downside is that a lot of the stuff has a bit of a mark-up on the retail price so that isnt great. They do have a decent clearance section though.

I didnt catch her name, but she has very faded pink hair that looks disgusting and her teeth look rotten. This Ulta is ok, the store is clean. The drugstore makeup brands are better organized and stocked than they were in the past. There are a lot of selections for gift type items and they recently started carrying some of the cute Asian Beauty brands like Toly Moly. Ive always felt a little stalked by the customer service ladies on the fancy makeup side. I prefer to be able to focus completely on the products Im inspecting rather than having conversation. They have never been rude but they try to upsell whatever brand item they are selling even if Im not interested. I think they are trying to do a good job so I am not bothered too much but Ive learned to put in my headphones if I want to have some peace while shopping here.

I went into this Ulta today and was treated like I was absolute trash.Heres a little back story, I am a survivor of a chronic, painful, autoimmune disease. Ive recently had surgery to help my quality of life which ended in me having a new Ostomy Appliance. (Poo Bag on the outside of my abdomen)When I came in the store it was busy as usual, but there were plenty of staff just standing around conversing with each other. As soon as they saw me and my visible Ostomy Bag, they gave nasty looks and they scattered to avoid any questions that I may have had. When I finally got an employee to give me 2 seconds of attention to ask for help, she replied, Im with a customer right now. And dismissed me. I found another employee, who happened to be male, thinking maybe he would be nice to me. Not at all, he just pretended not to see me and ran to another lady to help her.I gave up on getting assistance from an employee. I tried to match my shade of Clinique foundation the best I could and proceeded to the check out line. The line was literally wrapped around the isles of the store with only 2 cashiers working. I walk to the rear of the store to see if the ladies at the salon would ring me up and was disrespected yet again, so I asked for a manager. I stood there for 15 or 20 mins and no one showed up. So I placed my foundation down on the counter and announced to any employee who might have been listening that I would be taking my business elsewhere.Ulta staff seriously needs some sensitivity training, as a person with a disability, Ive never in my life been treated this way. I saw MEN in the store by themselves who were asked more than once if they needed help, and no one ever approached me to see if I needed anything and was totally snubbed by every employee i came into contact with.SHAME ON YOU ULTA. Ill be going to Sephora from now on.

This store is a great example of unfriendly, rude and not willing to help employees. Ive been in this store about 8 or 9 times everytime Ive been in this store no one cares to help me. If i ask for help (like tonight) the employee is to bothered to help almost annoyed i asked a question. I bought 180$ worth of makeup (and some bath bombs) two weeks ago. Theu were handing out (what looled like full palets (looked like eye shadow) i asked for one and was told i didnt qualify - but the lady ahead of me who spend 28$ did... and no it wasnt anything to do with rewards.. she told the lady they jist had to many and were supposed to hand tem out. Tonight i decided im DONE with Ulta all together because of this store. Employees kept dodging me when I had a question. Ome employee rolled hed eyes at me because i wanted her opinion on mascara ( she grabbed what was close to her and tried to get me to buy it) - even though thats not what I wanted it was just convenient for her so she didnt have to help.. Ive also noticed that they check you up and down almost like profiling you to see if youre worthy of their help.. makes me feel very uncomfortable..

Very disrespectful staff.They dont follow corporate policies and make them up on the fly.They like to try to shame customers when customers are smart enough to push back.They dont wear name tags and if they do it is upside down or positioned so you dont know their names.Based on the most recent experience some major house cleaning is needed.The punk kids running around saying they are supervisors / managers that is where it needs to start.Ulta is another brick and mortar store and people go because they want to actually lay hands on the products.Most if not all of the products cab be purchased online and not have to deal with the bad attitudes and disrespectful staff.Other Ultas in the DFW dont seem to have the same issues as the one in Firewheel.Completely disrespectful and hateful people. They need to find a job where they dont have to work with people.The GM seems to try but the staff and leaders below the GM are really in need of a boot out the door especially the ones that work midday over the weekend.

ULTA has won customer service of the year award from me! I dont shop beauty products hardly at all, so I was very impressed with the service I received.I had a unique situation where I had returned a Brocato flat iron that suddenly died on me. Thankfully it was still within its 3-year warranty, so the exchange was quick and easy. Well, I accidentally grabbed a 1 3/4 version instead of the 1 (which, if you have fine hair like mine, and not a lot of it, is not ideal). On top of that, come to find out that it was the electrical in my house causing problems, so my original flat iron that I was in love with was probably fine when I exchanged it. So now Ive got a flat iron that is too large for my needs, but no receipt. I figure, Well Ill just make it work.Then I cut my hair short. Since I use my flat iron to curl my hair as well, this 1 3/4 flat iron, while super awesome quality, just wasnt working for me, and I didnt know what to do. I didnt want to be stuck with it, but didnt want to sell it at a low price when it was still so brand new, and I didnt think I could return it. Feeling pretty bummed at this point. I finally worked up the courage and figured Id just try to see if they could help me. I called the Firewheel store and was able to speak with the manager DJ (who is super sweet and helpful), and he gave me the number to ULTA guest services so they could track down my receipt (thank you ULTA rewards!). The girl I spoke with at guest services was superbly helpful, understanding, and we had a friendly conversation about flat irons. She got my receipt from the original exchange, emailed it to me, and I was able to take it to the store the same day and do an exchange for the 1 flat iron I loved so much. I was the happiest camper all day after that!Seriously! I dont think many stores would have been so understanding and gone to such lengths to help me out. Thank you ULTA for making this lady very happy!
