I went in to look for some hair. Being new to the area I had never been there before. A lady walked in after me and was looking at the wigs and I assume went to touch one and the guy with long hair said rudely dont touch the wigs. Yes there was a sign that said it but how you say it can mean a world of difference. After hearing his tone it De ided I dis not want to spend my money there. I asked the customer if there was another hair store around and she didnt know. So I was like in not spending my money there hes rude. She shortly walked out and siad that he got mad at her and said this is my store and I can say what I want. He then got mad at her because she wouldnt tell him what I said. Needless to say neither one of us spent our money there. I will never go back to that store again. I now see why there are so many bad reviews and so many people saying that the owner is rude. No money spent means no business.

Says they clsoe at 8pm.. its 2:12pm and they are closedSign says theyll be back at 11:30... yet, no one is there. Thanks for a wasted drive !

I was there twice in the past week. Ive always been treated with great respect at this store, over the past 15 years or so. The owner always helps me find what Im looking for. They have a huge supply of hair products. Always nice. Not sure about the negativity of other reviews, but Ive never seen an issue and always go here for hair supplies and products when needed, even before Sallys.

I go to this beauty supply often because its close to my house but I draw the line when Im being hawk-watched like Im stealing and on top of that I had to endure a loud phone conversation while I was being checked out. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Horrible place! Asked the guy how much a replacement blade costs? He kept talking on his cellphone and ignored me started to ring up and I was like? Hey how much is it? He got mad and said “you want or no”? I said no then he told me to leave. Don’t spend money where your not respected. No customers = no revenue for your shop

Passed by this beauty supply on my way home everyday. I normally shop at Gold 7 for the past 15 years (family oriented, polite, and always happy to do Business with you). Payless beauty supply owners are RUDE, unprofessional, and definitely lacking people skills. All they want is your money and if you don’t purchase anything they are rude. I have never in my life been spoken to in that manner. I went in for lashes but they have such a small selection. Don’t shop here this place is so small and run down and the selection of lashes and hair are so minimal.

ABSOLUTELY ZERO STARS!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS!! It’s an older Asian couple and they are absolutely HATEFUL/UNFRIENDLY I do not see how they have a business! They got mad at a lady for ACCIDENTALLY dropping a wig and got mad at me for asking what their nationality was!! They get mad if you don’t buy anything and are even more rude to you! I recommend WIG&BEAUTY DISCOUNT STORE on broadway in Garland!!! They are more than amazing!!!!

Owner does not like African American but want to sell their hair product. He is the meanest person. Please know what you want before you get in there. If you take longer than a minute looking at anything, it ticks him off. The products are old, not fresh. There are many beauty supplies around to even waste time and money there. And they are over price. Strange people.

Rude along with terrible customer service skills.. After reviewing my online banking, I realized my card was charged twice. I immediately contacted the store to discuss duplicate charge. The male worker instantly went into defense mode stating no I fixed it. How do you know you fixed it if I havent stated the date or the amount. He didnt allow me to speak further before he said no bring receipt back to store and hung up. I called a second time same thing stated he couldnt talk because he had a customer.. So when did I not become a customer. So I decided to let my bank handled it for me to credit my account back. Also, the eyeliner I purchased was dried out, the mascara handled broke. I should have known it was a bad sign when inventory looked extremely low

Went there a few times and every time the guy was very rude. One time I came in for some hair. The hair looked like it was cut so I said no and was going to leave. He said “why you leave I reduced the price for you” And he starts yelling at me. He was upset. He Hoover’s over as you shop. He always thinks I’m stealing even when I dropped my card on the floor he looks over the COUNTER to see! I will never go back here. Very rude

I wish I could give no stars. Every time I go to this store there is some kind of issue. The owner acts like he doesnt want my business. The selection is limited and noting seems to be in the right place. Today I went there because they are closest to my house. I was about to make a $30 purchase when he told be that he could not take my $10 because the corner of it was torn. He told me to go to the bank and come back. I told him to just give me my money back and I would go some where else. He told me that it was illegal in this country to have torn bills. (I got the bill from the grocery store.) I informed him that I know the law (Im american) and someone else would love to take my money. I went right over to Jessicas beauty supply on Buckingham Rd. They were very nice, had a better selection and took my $10 bill. I hope this place closes soon!

The owner must be rich and not need any money! I called to ask for a product, he said yeah they have it. I described it again because it didnt seem like he was paying attention and he sighs really loud and says NO we dont have it. So I ask, which is it, do you have it or not? Then he gets loud says NO WE DONT! and hangs up. Very unprofessional, didnt even say the name of the business when he answered the phone, just a gruff Hello. Id rather go spend my money where they actually WANT my business. He didnt have what I wanted anyway. ..or did he? I still dont know!!! lol

The people that run this place are so rude. They watch you walk around like you come in there to steal. Then even walk down the isle with you to make sure you don’t. After asking a question about a color I was interested in. They half way helped. Didn’t explain anything at all. I took it home realized that it wasn’t what I wanted (it was $2.99 box of color then they argued with me saying it’s open and couldn’t not exchange it... really they all had what looked like a piece of tape over it....horrible customer service make you so uncomfrtable cause they think your gonna steal what little inventory they have lol this place is a joke would not recommend even to buy rubber bands...

Rude owners. I just left from here and Ill never return again! I asked how much a wig cost, and was yelled at by the female worker. The male worker explained to me that u find a wig on display, tell them, and they give the price, but he said it with an attitude. After that, i wanted to buy eyelashes, but every pair I asked did they have the woman told me they were out because she didnt want to sell me anything. Enraged, I pushed afew things off the table,and left the store. The woman followed me to my car and took pictures, all because I asked how much a wig cost.

So you guys know that really cold day during winter where you couldnt even walk cause your hand would go numb? Well I went into their store not just to warm up, but to buy a hat and gloves. The owners kept watching me to damn closely and kept getting to close. I felt claustrophobic because I was looking at their wig and every 3 min get a can I help you. They got rude and literally screamed at me not to loiter around and to leave! Theyre so God dang rude!

I Walked in with my elderly mother to get a ponytail to match her hair and as soon as I entered they looked at us very disgustingly, As if I had came in steal something. I opened a shea moisture to smell it and the lady rudely told me not to do that. I told my mom to lets go to a different store because I wouldnt spend one red cent here and the man told my elderly mother F*** you, so I replied F*** you. The woman turned and said B**** and started laughing. This was in front of my kids. Im glad I realized Im not the person I used to be because I wouldnt have left without cursing them racist mofos out from ceiling to the floor. Ill NEVER go back or recommend anyone else to go to this store. Rude and inhumane.
