When one of the springs on our garage door snapped, I contacted several door repair services before coming across Grease Monkey. Im glad I came into contact with them. Service was delivered to our home that evening. Unfortunately, they didnt have springs on hand for our oversized door. I scheduled an appointment between 1-4 pm assuming they would be like most calling saying they were running late. Not so! They called me at 1:15 they were at the house. Thankfully my daughter was able to let them in to start the work. When I got home from work they were almost done and explained everything perfectly. If my wife and I could give them 6 stars we would. Our garage door opener chain had come off. We called and scheduled for between 1 and 5. Around 4 they called to say the job they were on was taking longer than expected. They kept updating us and finally showed up at 6:30. They evaluated the situation and showed us exactly what was wrong. They then explained our options. We talked it over and decided to go with replacement not repair. At this point we told them they could come back another day as it was approaching 7:30. They decided to do the job right then anyway. They spent over 2 hours in the job. Not only did they replace the old garage door opener, they noticed that the tracks were out of alignment and fixed that too. They told me the misalignment may have contributed to the unit failing. I assumed there would be additional charges for the extra work, but around when they finished up they not only didn’t charge for fixing the misalignment they took 10% off the bill because they had arrived late. I haven’t seen such great service in a long time. The new unit is working flawless. In addition they programmed two of our cars to operate the door. I would not hesitate to call them again or refer a friend to them.

The person who answered the phone was very professional and set an appointment that fit my schedule. Prior to the technician arriving, I received a tax message 15 minutes in advance. When Brian arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and very skilled. After getting my garage door to close, he inspected all the garage door components and made some much needed adjustments. Called at 4:00 with a broken spring on the garage door. By 5:00 they were at our house working on it. Not only did they replace the spring but they noted how bad the rollers were and suggested replacing them to save wear on the motor. They also adjusted the track and the hinges so the door moves more freely. All work was done in about an hour. Awesome service, courteous, professional, and fairly priced. I highly recommend them if you have issues with your garage door.

Prices to high, wanted $280 to replace weather stripping on garage. That involved pulling off old boards (like trim), putting up about $60 dollars of new stripping, then caulking. They were 30% higher than others.Got it done by A1 Garage for $180, along with a garage tune up.

Called them at 830, they scheduled me for the same day, between 9 and 11am. The tech arrived around 1015am and got it fixed by 1045am. If this is not excellent service, same day as promised, I dunno what is ! Great job !

It’s so hard to find an honest, trustworthy company to come to your home and tell you what is you truly need to have done.Two other companies told me that the parts that broke on my door, required a complete door replacement, one was $1500 and the other $1000.Well, I’m so glad that I called Grease Monkey Garage Door Repair, because Aaron looked at it and said that we didn’t need to replace the door, that he could replace the broken parts and fix it for $285!I called him back, and he had it fixed the same day. He came this morning at 6 am (Labor Day) it took him less than an hour, and he converted it to a 2 spring system, which we should have had installed by the builder!. $275. Brian at Grease Monkey Garage Door saved our Christmas! We arrived back to our house at 6pm on Christmas Eve to find that we were locked out. The power (and backup battery) to the garage door opener were out, and the garage door was the ONLY way to get into the house. The short version is that these guys are awesome. They installed a big industrial sized (20X10) garage door opener for us that we had sitting in a box for two years. The unit had two bad transformers in it. They repaired them and we are good to go. They didnt charge me until they got the opener working correctly and they could have. They do little things too like show up on time, answer phone calls and whatever questions you might have. Hire them.11/6/2019 This is the second time Ive hired Grease Monkey Garage Door. This time I had a spring check out on my garage door. I called them, an hour later they showed up and fixed the problem immediately. Now, the garage door at my house is not only fixed but operating quietly. I WILL be calling them to install my the garage doors on my next house and the big industrial sized doors for my shop.
