Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Upgrading my phone was made simple and fast. The staff went out of the way to explain the entire process. I will definitely visit the store location again.
Adam was very helpful and encouraging with becoming a new customer. He genuinely seems to enjoy working there and went above and beyond to make my transition to verizon easy. Personally I believe this young man deserves a substantial raise.

We went in the the Verizon office last Friday. My husband had to order his phone. Devin the manager from Lady Smith office was working.. His phone came in Tuesday and hed been trying to get there to get it but everytime I called no one answered. Wednesday he went there at 4:00 and the door were locked. I called again today and got no answer and no call back. Devin had given us his stores phone number. I called his office and he called his boss who said someone would be there this evening. When my husband got there the office was closed. He called Devin who drove down there to help my husband get his phone and get it set up. Devin deserves something for all the hard work and extra time he put in helping us out.
I’m leaving this review because the phone is ringing to a voicemail box that’s full today! Great business etiquette. This location provides HORRIBLE service, the employees at this location are untrained and have no leadership. Heather the DM won’t answer the phone and her employees are forced to give you the consumer the run around about issues her untrained staff created.This location is the WORST VERIZON RETAILER I’ve ever dealt with. Go to the actual corporate Verizon store these guys just want to TAKE YOUR MONEY.
After visiting a couple of places to get the best possible deal in cell service, I ended up at Verizon near VCM, excellent customer service, very detailed in explaining how phone works and best options for my needs, the service was smooth and straight forward, Im loving my new phone. Would definitely reccomend.
Justice was great. Walked us through the whole process of switching from a different carrier to Verizon. He was very patient, very informative, and I feel like we got a really great deal. He helped us out all while training 2 new associates. Very professional and personable all at the same time. Thanks for great customer service.
12/27/2020 - This is the second attempt to speak to someone about getting Verizon service back. My younger brother got a new phone for Christmas with a split payment plan, paying half upfront and the second half a week later. When going for service activation for the new phone we were told that the payment plan we had set up was not meant to be approved, so they cut the service until the error was resolved. Today we attempted to go into the store, 11am open time on the sign, website says the store is open, but nobody home. We called (from a different line because we still have no activation) and the voicemail is full. Thank you Verizon!!!! We will not be paying any excess fees, and you will make this right.
Mariah did a wonderful considering she was helping me and someone at the same time. Even tho it was a time consuming process, and activation errors: she took to the time to help without seeming frustrated or annoyed. She was friendly, and solved all of my issues. Wonderful service!
Ive always dreaded getting a new phone, this is my first time replacing a phone before it was completely broken. Mariah handled the transaction and transfer to a new phone expediently. Absolutely useless staff.No product knowledge whatsoever. Any question I asked they had to look up or ask someone else. No phones on display to try.Didn’t know what a dual-sim phone was.Asked for a 256 gb iPhone, she brought out two 128gbs?????Wanted to order me an iPhone. I can do THAT from home. Brick and mortar stores are putting themselves out of business! Get some sales reps that know the product!Went over to Starbucks, ordered phone direct from Verizon, in 256gb and the color I want. Will be on my doorstep tomorrow. Bye-bye B&M.

Worst store Ive ever had dealings with. First try waited hour and a half for incompetent girl to add one line to customers in front of me account. She never accomplished that and sent them in their way while telling me it would a considerable amount of time to wait before I could be helped.(I was the only customer in the store at the time) After another 30 minutes I left. My mother goes the next day to switch service from one phone to a newer phone, same girl cant figure out how to switch phones, but decides to put a lock screen on my elderly mothers phone. A smart phone is difficult enough for her without that screen. Total waste of time, dont waste your time on this garbage store.
Got a new phone at a different Verizon location and needed to set up and transfer data to the new device. The place where I bought it wouldnt help--just handed me a page of written instructions and hustled me out. I decided to go to this location, since my business partner was successful getting his set up here. Wow! What a difference! The others had only partially entered info for the new phone, so phone support was necessary to get everything up and going properly. Sunnie patiently and professionally made sure she got everything squared and we were good to go when we left. Thank you Sunnie for such excellent service!
Had to pick up a new phone and transfer data to new phone. Sunnie was very nice and easy to talk to. It was only the two of us, so we were able to chat a lot while maintaining social distancing and she seems to know her stuff.
If I could give them 0 out of 5 stars I would. I went in to purchase an i phone for christmas for my son. I allowed them to access to my account to review plans. Music was loud. I asked them to decrease volume. They didnt discuss prices. The manager came out and asked what I want as if I should know specifically. I came to ask questions about i phones as Im an android user. Quickly wanted to push me out the store. They ended up orsering the phone yo the store and said you can pay activation when it comes. I said I wanted to pay for it all at once. They would allow it so i asked them to cancel order. I went to a corporate store who allows full payment but they couldnr order as the other company hadnt cancelled my oder. I tried to call them they wouldnt answer. I had to physically go back over there. They upfront lied and said they cancelled it i proceeded to call verizon while sitting there myaelf. Verizon stated they hadnt been called and proceeded to cancel it. Verizon also suggested only using corporate stores or retailer such as best buy, costco or walmart for furture verizon purchase. Out right took 4 hours of my day and a terrible experience. Wont ever go to this location or authorized retailer again.
In order to get the color of phone I wanted I had to order. I was told I would be called when it arrived. I was also given a tracking number. After no call for 3 days i tracked and it had been delivered the day after order. Now having issues with phone it’s only been 30 days. They said they couldn’t do anything because it’s after 14 days. (I didn’t purchase insurance). Have called Apple to see if they can help me. After several hours of myself and Apple reps trying different things they feel it’s a hardware problem. Apple says its returnable for 1 year with hardware issues. No one will answer the phone. I’ve called 4 times today and voicemail is full. I just need a phone that works.

I have gone to this Verizon store for the last three days and it has not been open, despite the posted hours. The phone I ordered is at this store and it is an inconvenience I cannot retrieve it. I have also called multiple times with no response.

I came in to get a new screen because I had cracked my screen and a new otter box. I ended up buying a new better box and came home with same cracked screen. I thought replacing the otter box would replace screen, however, it did not work that way..Now, I have to go back, to my regret to take care of the cracked screen.
I highly recommend you that do not buy phone in this store. Our family got kind of scam from this store and never get an answer from this store. We bought phone as BOGO last December. Also, we paid $600 because manager said we need to pay it for BOGO. Also, she said our monthly payment would be near some amount but we were paying way more than amount that she said to us. We checked Verizon for our contract, and they said our phones were not on BOGO. Also, our monthly payment increased since last month. So we visited this store for asking what was going on our account. This store employee said that kind of problem should be handled by manager, but manager was not there. We left our phone number to get a call from manager, but they never called to us and we visited this store many times and they always said she was not here. Imagine that contacting them to solve problem since February this year, and problem was not solved, and leaving message to store manager and never get a call. Seriously, you should think again about buying phone on this store...

Claim to be open. Have the open sign on. And there is no one around and the doors are locked. Online and signage say they are open. Yet in person that is not the case. Will not return.
Terik did a great job. He was fast and knowledgeable. We ended up saving money and I was able to get better phones and an watch. He found the best deals for our family. I won’t go anywhere else. Verizon has a loyal customer in my family now.

Staff was friendly enough, but boy are they dishonest! Went in while killing time after lunch, looked at an iPhone 8, and pointed out that their $710 price tag for the 64GB base model was incorrect (Apple lowered the official retail price to $599 as of 9/12/2018). Not only did they (multiple employees) not acknowledge this, they made every excuse possible to defend their price. $599 is only the Verizon online store special price. No, its not. You would have to go pick it up at Apple to get that price. No, I dont. Isnt that only the price if you trade in a phone? What??? I said I could walk to Best Buy just up the road and it would be $599 there too, no matter which carrier. They informed me but we go the extra mile... well setup your email and iCloud for you. Now my intelligence is insulted... but also, pretty much any retail store in the US will do that for someone who cant do it on their own... and for the regular retail price of $599! Sounds like others have had fine experiences here, but you may want to double check that you didnt pay $100 extra for your phone.

Between the Store Manager Jhonatan Garcia, as well as Christian and Victoria you could never be less the satisfied. They always go the extra mile to help exceed expectations. Truly the best Verizon store I have ever been in. The associate Ms. Finn stayed over an hour past closing to make sure my wife and I had our phones up and running. Great all around staff cause Victoria was equal in knowledge and service as well when we did a follow up.

The two women working the store seemed nice and considerate, but I wasn’t helped at this location. One of the women was just job shadowing. The main woman with blonde hair seemed to be happy to help me hook up my cell phone to a prepaid plan. (I had recently bought an iPhone 5c online and was in need of a service provider) Upon having a seat at the desk I was asked to put my phone on the settings tab, we discussed how Verizon had recently cut the iPhone 5c from its network. The employee typed in my phone serial numbers and told me, “no can do, it’s not compatible for The Verizon Network”. I wasn’t willing to take a loss quite yet. So I went to a phone screen repair/service/sales shop by Regency Square Mall called, El Grande. A locally owned and operated phone store. The employee at El Grande Phone got my new iPhone 5c all setup on The Verizon Prepaid Plan in under ten minutes for $75. I don’t know if Verizon Wireless at Brook Rd and Virginia Center Parkway was out of SIM cards, was incompetent, didn’t try hard enough to get me setup, or what, although I got what I wanted in the end from El Grande near Regency Square Mall.

This store & it’s customer service is horrible!!!! I went last year to upbrade my iPhone which was a disaster! I was quoted incorrect info & had to pay charges that were not explained to me properly! After weeks of back & forth I moved on! Well fast forward to this evening...I decided that everyone deserves a second chance & decided that since I wanted to upgrade to the new iPhone XMax that I would stop in to check on what I needed to know. I walked in only to NOT be greeted but the sales rep just looked up & went back to doing what he was doing! I knew where the iPhones were so I just went over to help myself! I compared the phones & decided on which I wanted. Yea well I was in the store all of 5-10 minutes with no acknowledgement or even an “ill be right with you” He went on with whatever he was doing & I decided that I wouldn’t spend another penny in this place! Luckily for Verizon their service is great so I won’t be switching carriers but this “customer service” salesman is anything but great! I will find another store that wants to help me upgrade my phone! This was all the confirmation I needed from this store! Thanks for nothing!

Although I never went into the store, I called several times trying to track down the District Manager (who was at the store) to address a problem that had come up at another The Wireless Center Location at Gayton Crossing. The employees at the Glen Allen store repeatedly lied to me and laughed as they attempted to cover for their district manager who was there, but refused to speak to me. Only after contacting the District Managers boss was my problem rectified. I would never recommend anyone go to this location or any other The Wireless Center location. Way to many other places to get Verizon phones that offer much better customer service.
Beyond professional and super knowledgable, would recommend this Verizon to any and everyone!! It was a great experience!
