Worst experience I have ever had at a tailor, a nex, or an establishment in general. Terribly rude and condescending male manager. I recommend anywhere but here.

Everything a sailor needs to be in a squared away uniform (with the possible exception of a cutlass)

I went there to pick up a uniform, and for ni reason at all the lady at the counter was ridiculously rude. She interrupted me multiple times before I finished my sentences, was super snappy with me and was sarcastic. When I came for the fitting they were alot more helpful, but that lady was terrible.

This is the second time in a week where I’ve shown up at opening time and they are a half hour late. This uniform shop will show no respect for your time off. You should use anywhere else. Don’t be like me and turn your uniform in for tailoring and have to wait outside their door for a half hour to get it back.

They had the uniform items minus the rank. The sign on the wall said free alterations on uniforms. After purchasing and asking about it, they said the alterations on uniforms were free only before purchasing the uniforms. After purchasing the uniforms, there is a charge for the alterations. Not only is that a backwards policy, but it is not clearly stated on the sign.

They will not accept cash

Very convenient location for me. It is a great place to buy uniform items and get them patched. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the uniform items that Military personal have to wear. If needed they cam also measure you to get accurate sizes for the uniforms you are buying. The only downside is that sometimes the line gets very long.

They can’t tailor anything unless it’s hemming your pants. RUN to a real alterations shop for anything else.

They ironed my husbands dress blues completely wrong and I had to redo it myself. They also take twice as long as Sentry cleaners to do their job. Just go to sentry. Barely down the road, and so much better. Better pressing, patching, and in less time too.

I would like to thank Rochelle, Elizabeth, Ida & last but not least a big shout out to Ms. Jackie who went out of there way to make sure i had fitting uniforms, all of my uniform items & anything they did not have, made sure it was ordered. These ladies went above and beyond their duties and exceeded my expectations. Thank you ladies for making my experience a great one.

If you need uniform items, this shop will have it 98% of the time. Some items will have to be asked for but everything else is prominently displayed and available.

Got everything you need, def. Buy a cloth belt and a new Dixie cups when you arrive from boot camp, if youre a super recruit however, you will need to order the super-recruit ribbon from the internet.

Excellent service but would have liked a larger selection of basic things like uniform socks/shirts etc. Their selection was very basic

Very nice staff and they have just about any uniform item you can think of but their dry cleaning work is very spotty. Many uniforms either look great or come out creased backwards.

Its always slow service

1) Depressing atmosphere as soon as you step foot in that place. 2) Terrible customer service and the workers are extremely slow and seem as if they dont want to be there. 3) Had my dress whites dry cleaned and once I went to pick them up, the same stains were in them from when they were initially dropped off! They claimed that the stain wouldnt come out, but once I got home and used soap/water -the stain magically disappeared! 4) They are extremely lazy!!!!

Its a solid uniform store, but it just doesnt have any character or soul..... ! It has that sterile feel!

I just walked out after the lady with curly red hair was rude for no reason. There was one other customer in the store ahead of me talking to her and she stops her to tell me the line starts at the corner and wraps around. No sign saying this and been here multiple times and never had anyone tell me to get back there. Plus we were the ONLY two customers in there. Line wraps around? This same lady when it was my turn acts put out just talking to me then when she told me the tailor was out for another half hour to mark the pants I was over it and just left. I used to live closer to the AFB and used to use them but stopped here on my way home from work. I’ll drive out of my way to continue using the AFB shop where they’re at least respectful towards their military customers.

Absolutely blown away by the incompetence of this uniform shop. Brought my SDB coat in the be striped. Came the next week on the due date to pick them up. After waiting 20 minutes while the cashier went in back, and came out empty handed, I found out they hadnt even started working on it. I come in the next day and its ready, everything looks fine after a visual inspection so I leave. Flash forward to today, try my jacket on only to find its at least 4 sizes too big. THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG COAT. Im not saying this like I lost some weight, this jacket is 2 inches too long in the arms and has at least 40 pounds of space in the gut. Thank you NEX staff for doing more harm than good to yet another service member.

Terrible. Waited for 20 minutes in a line 6 people deep. Tailoring and check out is at the same counter and the employees take their sweet time

For being the only Navy uniform shop in the Low Country SC it was lacking in key uniform items.

Great costumer service...

Had to take my uniforms off base after they were done destroying them. When I showed the lady all the sewing mistakes they had made she just laughed and said they can do it again and then quoted me a price to have them fixed even though they were the ones that screwed them up. I believe that their customer service is worse than their sewing. Buy your uniforms here, take them off base to have them serviced!

This lady named Jackie will HOOK IT UP. Shes an angel sent straight from heaven.
