They take money from a credit card without permission, they were told not to take anymore payments from that card, and they take what they want, when they want. They have mangers that rewrite contracts without customer permission

I was able to find a perfect chest for my daughters room!!!! The price was great, the customer service was great &everyone in the store were friendly and willing to help!!! My delivery guy Mark was awesome!!! Today he happened to be working solo but he was able to maneuver around the stubborn areas in my home and place the chest in the exact place I wanted it!!!! I couldnt be happier with my experience from start to finish!!! Lol 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Mark and Terrell came to bring me a new dryer and their customer service was excellent. They were able to disconnect my old dryer and haul it off for me. I was definitely a satisfied customer.

Ive noticed a lot of changes with this location lately. Ive been a customer since before it was modern home back when it was Buddys. Its convenient when you cant afford to buy whatever it is youre wanting up front. Although they do have a high turnover rate, usually they have some pretty good employees. Al and Quentin are great! In the years that I have been a customer, occasionally I would have to pay late because of a payroll switch or something, but they never really harass me about it because they knew I was good for it. But, lately things have gone downhill. Not too long ago I got a bedroom set and had great payment history. But with the new manager, the first time I paid late I received like three or four phone calls in one day starting at 9 in the morning and then a nasty attitude to the point that I got me upset and Im a very cheerful person. And the last week, I decided to give it another try and I decided to get a dinette set from there. They told me they would have it delivered in a certain amount of time. I had to call the store to find out where my set was after the time it passed, and all I was told was that they had new employees who were behind schedule. An hour later at almost 8pm another person from the store called and offered a quick apology saying that they would be out the next morning not really caring that I had already thrown out my old dinette set and needed it that day. Originally I chose modern home because they had better selections and better customer service then other rent to own places, but once I finish paying this off Im done because the customer service has decreased DRASTICALLY.

Wow this seems like a new store! The sales team is courteous and professional, making the whole experience feel like they really care about helping me find the best fit for my family and my home. I love that they have financing available for those items that Im not ready to pay in full, but the prices are right! Ill definitely be returning for my next purchase!

Good collection, they have limited stuff but kept nicely arranged, sometimes you get decent deals to save big bucks. Just watch every now and then. They are not very cheap though. I like their staff or representative are not very pushy on customers. You can visit them if you plan to buy home stuff or they keep some electronics on installments also.

Staff was awesome to work with and had a great selection. My appliance had to be ordered but Wray, the store manager, was amazing to work with and walked me through the process and was patient with my million questions. Would highly recommend!!

We went and got a TV and TV stand from them, when I went in I was told I was making 2 payments to get us started. After one week they started calling telling us we needed to pay them. When they called me they were rude and disrespectful my boyfriend went and paid them and Everytime since then its due on a Friday and we were paying it on Saturday because I got home from work on a Friday I had a note on my door saying if we didnt return the stuff in 2 days they were taking it to court so my bf called and got it straight well a week later the manager shows up at my work being rude to me and telling me if I didnt give them the TV today he was going to courthouse first thing in the morning to take papers out on us to give it back. This place was the worst experience Ive ever had if your a day late they wanna make things hard on you!

I like the prices it fits my budget every one in the store is friendly the Managers works very well with their customers
