Bought my kayak from them in 2012 (Native Mariner), and have had nothing but great service and support ever since. My pedal drive (Native Propel) finally needed servicing, so took it in to the shop (April 2021). Will and Rick took care of me right away. Rick was able to able to make the needed repairs and get the Propel unit functional again while I ran some errands. I fully expected theyd need the unit a week or two for them to turn around the repair (I live an hour away), and hadnt entertained the possibility they could fix the unit on the same day. Im sure they wont always be able to do that, but know that they will if they can. Shopped around while there, and always impressed with their inventory of the latest kayak fishing accessories. Great store with great products -- and with a great staff and great service practices.

I have been breaking kayaks and carbon fiber paddles since 2008. Will is an extremely nice guy and is very knowledgeable on all things kayaking. They recently welded two of my kayaks that had multiple cracks. They have also repaired my carbon fiber paddles multiple times. Their pricing is very reasonable and their service is excellent! It is exciting to know they also sell bicycles now. Please support your local Kayak shop!

This is NOT a Bicycle shop, its a kayak store as evidenced by there website which contains zero bikes.and Im not sure how the official Trek Store in Greensboro ended up in a Kayak store. Theres not a Trek sign insight anywhere the place is difficult to find centered amongst a bunch of run down buildings. The inside looks like an after thought for bikes. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a Trek bike.

I love this store - many thanks to the staff who set up my new 16 ft canoe today, outfitted it and tied it on top of my car. Its a terrific store for cycling and paddle sports. I enjoyed my experience at the store today. Very friendly efficient and professional staff.

I bought a used kayak a few weeks ago and needed a PFD. I was driving through Greensboro and stopped at REI, but they were out of PFDs. The REI person suggested I try Get Outdoors. I zipped over to Get Outdoors, and they had a really large selection of PFDs for women in many sizes and colors. The salesperson was very informative and helped me pick the best one based on fit, utility and price. I will be stopping at Get Outdoors the next time Im driving through the area to pick up more gear, like dry bags and other kayaking accessories.

Lack luster customer service turned me away today. I was only looking for a $300 kayak paddle but no one took the time to find out. They had it, I wanted it, but staff didnt even pretend to be interested.. Guess Ill just have to buy it online instead of buying locally.

Fantastic experience purchasing Invert Paddleboards, paddles and gear at Get Outdoors. Dana took lots of time explaining each board during the demo weekend in April. When I was ready to purchase the boards last week, Will made sure I had the right accessories, walked me through securing my $$ purchase for transport including teaching me knot tying😊. Will answered all my questions, showed me some nice to have items without ever hitting me with a high pressure sale. When an item I ordered was not available, Will and Angel made sure I had the gear I needed to be out on the water right away. Whenever I visit North Carolina I make a point to stop at Get:Outdoors. They have kayaks for rent, maps of all the local waters to put them on, and an amazing staff that always goes the extra mile to make sure that you are prepared to hit the water safe and secure for a good time. Their showroom is expansive and best of all they carry the Native Watercraft line of fishing kayaks in addition to tons of white water play boats. They also have a lot of videos, books, stickers and gear. Their selection of paddles is amazing. Its basically the outdoor adventurers dream.
