Overall the experience was very good. I got in quickly, and Dr. Bong was very thorough in his exam. Options were clear. The only constructive I have is on warning patients about the use of the pupil dilation drops for the retinal exam. With me, the effects of the drops lasted 4 hours. I needed to know that before hand (the doctor said and hour; maybe true for younger patients, not for me in my late 50s). It impaired my ability to drive for about two hours, and even then I felt my vision was impaired. This happened in the middle of the work day, driving is part of my job, and it impaired my ability to work for two hours. If I had known this before hand, I would have scheduled the eye exam for a different time.

Friendly front desk and friendly Dr. Bong too and easy to communicate with. In and out after my exam. specially when I have another appointment to attend to.

This used to be a great place before someone else took over. Took my sons prescription in December 17, 2020 and was told a few weeks. Called every month for months with no return call. Office hours are very limited.

Mel from Cascade vision sold his company to this company. The Gtesham location has poor customer service. They dont call you back. They dont order your contacts when they should. They are only open 3 days a week. And only one person can do the ordering and answer questions. My family has been going to Mel for the past 10yrs. We truly miss him. Well we will no longer be going to this location. They have lost our business.

I miss Mel, I have contacted the office about 8 times and have left messages with no return phone call. I lost my glasses and I have been wearing my contacts for about 1month, I need to book an appt and at least get a pair of contacts until my next eye exam as my prescription has expired

This business has now become Sterling Vision, as Dr. Macphee has retired. I am a former patient of Dr. Macphee. I was sad to hear he was retiring as I have been seeing him for over 20 years! I had an appointment there last week and Dr. Jager was very kind and thorough. I will continue coming here for many years to come.

My wife got a eye test and glasses from this place. After getting her glasses she found that she could see close up just fine but anything over 10 feet away she was unable to see. She called them and they had her come in. They tested her eyes again, with the glasses on?, and then they told her there was nothing wrong with the prescription. I took her to an optometrist and they tested her eyes and wrote a prescription completely different than this place.Yes they act like they are nice people but if you have a real problem they refuse to take responsibility for THEIR mistake. I nor my wife will ever go to this place again and we will tell anyone that will listen to avoid this place.

I have been to many places looking for frames and to fill my prescription. My wife and I will only go to Cascade Vision. Very helpful, great selection and fair pricing.Frank S

My son was struggling with his reading in school and Dr. MacPhee was very thorough and helped us figure out that he needed prism in his glasses...something we wouldnt have thought of. His reading started improving as he wore his glasses...which also helped with his grades! bonus.The receptionist was super friendly and got us an appointment right away. My son liked her and thought she was nice.Id definitely recommend this office for their service and helpfulness! They were better than other past offices weve been it.

Cascade Vision Center provides outstanding services! Timely, charming, and so many options. I brought in vintage frames with out lenses and they were able to order custom lenses with my prescription. I love how they turned out!

This practice is beautiful and located in a new and nice area of Sandy. Dr. MacPhee and his staff are friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I have never been given an incorrect prescription or low-end glasses. They have incredible customer service and are willing to take their time to ensure you are happy with your exam, glasses, and contacts. I highly recommend Cascade Vision Center.

Having state health can be so frustrating. Finding a good provider who cares can be even harder.And I was so sad that this place doesnt make you feel welcomed.The doctor is distant and not very good with communication.And the receptionist is rude for no reason. My daughter has had glasses for almost 2 years before her first pair broke. And since we had to get a different pair since her previous pair wasnt available any longer. I tried numerous times to explain the glasses dont need to curl behind her ears. And she kept insisting. So we ended up back there a week later because the glasses are irritating her ears. And when trying to explain what we needed she was rude and snappy, almost like since our needs werent right to her therefore they were wrong. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there.We were also never told when he would need to see my daughter again. So annoyed.

Dr. MacPhee is one of the best eye doctors I know. I highly recommend him. We have used him as a family eye doctor for many years. He also recommended and helped me personally through a successful Lasik Surgery. I trust him with all of our families eye care needs.

I always have a great experience at Cascade Vision Center, Dr MacPhee just recently saw my 5 yr old and did a fantastic job with her. She is already excited for her next visit (in a year).

Found this place on google and took my son to his first appt there yesterday..... what a night and day difference from his last eye doctor!They were super friendly coming in, which put my son as ease for being a new doctors office. The doctor spent the ENTIRE TIME in the room with my son, not some tech/nurse. He was very kind, and had so much patience with my son. (My son is a High functioning Autistic.)And!! At the end of his exam (which was maybe a total of 30 mins, not over an hour with dialation like the last place) the doctor gave him tickets to pick out little prizes at their “store”!! So my son got a sweet math, prize lesson at the end of it! Would definitely reccomend this place! Great team!

Aug 24th 2020 -Dedicated to his staff and clients. You can tell he loves what he is passionate about and it shows. My husband and daughter and my self see Dr. MacPhee every year. The school eye tests are ok, for a basic eye test, to bring attention to the parents of where the kids are at vision wise. When our daughter was in grade school, years ago, we found out she had double vision, { Shes good now, no double vision } I found Dr. MacPhee and we are and have been his clients for life. Honesty and trust is a big deal for me. Just sharing our story to help others, I have had the electronic vision test for a quick eye test for work, a while back and it still wasnt as sharp compared to the old school exam Dr. MacPhee offers. Fine tunes what the electronic vision test could not offer. Your in good hands here, our go to eye clinic. Friendly and helpful staff. you get to know each other with casual conversation . Dr. MacPhee is passionate about his clients and his skills, I would recommend to friends and family, co-workers. I bought vision insurance for $30.00 a month, for the 3 of us, I think it was VSP, worth it . Support what is important to you...
