This company is fantastic, would highly recommend for any local move. The whole process was very straightforward. I called and discussed my inventory with their sales rep, they provided a quote and a login to their website so that I could view my move details. Lots of communication leading up to the move and they called the morning of, arriving right on time and getting straight to work. All the guys were incredibly professional and polite and the unloading was even easier. Moving with them was very low stress! And the final cost actually ended up being lower than the original quote, which was a pleasant surprise.

I cant say enough about the crew that moved my in-laws from the house they lived in for 43 years into a smaller senior community. It was a complicated move, and the crew was fast and efficient; and they understood this was a big experience for the customer and were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

We used Movers 201 for a move within NJ and we were very happy with their service. They were very fast with loading and unloading of all of our items but still very careful, taking the time to propely wrap and unwrap the furniture to avoid any damage - all that in 85F heat and with multiple flights of up/down stairs involved.At the end, the bill ended up to be a few hundred dollars under the estimate.

First let me say that I rarely complete on-line reviews. If a product or service meets expectations, then thats what it should do. It has to be exceptionally good or bad for me to bother with a review. When I saw how good the Google reviews were for Movers201, I seriously questioned it. Well, Id give them 10 stars on the 5 star scale if I could. They were truly that outstanding. From Brigitte in the office to Jess and his team on moving day. Communication was terrific and clear. When Jess and his crew arrived, they worked quickly and efficiently but also very carefully with my belongings. Everything got wrapped in moving blankets and secured appropriately. And since I had some concern over paying by the hour, I had my pickup truck completely loaded with items I could carry myself. And since not everything would fit, I planned to make repeated trips. Well Jess and his crew worked so fast that I asked if they could take the items I couldnt fit. They were able to take ALL the remaining items, meaning it would all get done in one trip. After moving all the items into the new place, it was clear a large desk wasnt going to fit in the space I had planned. Since that was my error I figured it was going to be on me to get it back outside. Well they not only gladly took it back out, they asked what to do with it. I said just to put it aside and Id load it myself after I emptied my truck. He took one look at my truck and called his crew over and they had my entire truck emptied in 10mins. Again, they didnt have to. They had already taken in everything they had loaded in their truck, so they were done. Thats outstanding service. I wouldnt even consider using another outfit in the future.

So in case you see any negative reviews and they make you hesitate - our experience would say you should ignore them. Moving is always complicated - our move wasnt an exception - but I never felt like Amir and Movers 201 were ever doing less than what they could to make our move happen. We moved from NJ to TX so it was a pretty involved process.Pros: -Guys loading the truck and unloading the truck were great-:Everything arrived safe (minus some minor breakage you can expect from any move)- Amir communicated well with us and I think he earnestly did what he could to make things as fast as he could. When problems came up on their side he worked with us to make us happy.-Price - easily the biggest thing for us - for what we got the move was very well priced.Cons:- The timing was our big issue for our move. Part of the driving factor for the great price is a slightly more flexible window than you might find with a mover that brings things directly. They provide a range of dates where your stuff can arrive with a date by which to your stuff should definitely arrive. Our time frame was complicated by other factors but I feel like, ultimately, The pros strongly outweigh the cons.If I had the choice to make again I would gladly have another move with movers 201.

I highly recommend Movers 201. It is refreshing to work with a family-owned business, as you do not get a run-around! Amir quickly worked up a quote for our move between Virginia and Hoboken with very little lead-time. It was a competitive price offering to make the move-out and move-in a one day job which was very helpful though demanding for his crew. James and Danny arrived for the move-out and put their talent and muscles (!) to work getting the truck loaded, despite complications with access to the elevator and loading dock. The drive back to New Jersey had them arrive on location at 8:30pm (think: a very long day already) and Angel joined them to unload the move and deliver everything into a third floor walk-up apartment. Their muscles were put to the test! Nothing was broken and they were very respectful of the health challenges of Covid which added to this customer’s satisfaction.

Josh is beyond impressive as a foreman - you can actually see in his eyes how he is forever strategically thinking about the next step and he magically remembered every single box and where it needed to go to just the right place. Saco, besides providing a much needed quick comic relief, was incredible in organizing and stacking up the truck so that all of my glass curios, tables and mirrors and chandeliers arrived in perfect condition. In the end, not a single thing was lost, damaged or scratched, not a single ding on any of the walls, no mess left behind and everything delivered and unpacked as if nothing was ever moved. Storage space got stacked up like a perfect game of Tetris - super tight and precision sharp. It has been days since the move and I am still in awe of the efficiency, professionalism and respect these fine young men displayed. I have never seen better team work anywhere - they worked with such accuracy, speed and efficiency and they worked together seamlessly. Each crew member had an apparent role and they executed and delivered on it with precision. And as a bonus Amir sent an extra crew member at no cost to me. We recently used Movers 201 for two moves: (i) They moved some furniture (including family heirlooms and an antique) for us from NJ to two of our children, both in Washington DC; and (ii) they moved the rest of our belongings from NJ to MA. In each case, the movers who handled and delivered our things were careful, efficient, and responsive. They took special care to wrap the pieces they moved, were careful not to damage walls or floors. They unloaded and placed our stuff just as we directed, and did so carefully and cheerfully. (There were many steps involved in both moves, and some very heavy boxes and pieces of furniture). All of the movers on the team were terrific, but I would specifically like to recognize Josh and Brian for their excellent work. After seeing how well they handled the first job, I specifically requested that they be part of the crew for the second move. The feedback I got from my children regarding the first move was extremely favorable as well. We have worked with movers a number of times over the years. Highly professional & efficient.The crew that handled our move were courteous, and very careful in packing our lamps, wall art, electronics, etc. The move- out was a big one requiring two 26 trucks. The crew was 7 men, and required 7 hours of time. The trucks returned the next day to our new home and the move-in was done in 5 1/2 hours. The crew was the same less one man. They were gentlemen.

I recently hired Movers 201 to relocate antique furniture, paintings, boxes, etc. from a storage unit in River Edge, NJ to a storage unit in Hackettstown, NJ. I am very pleased with the quality of services I received from the two man crew (Mike and John) that showed up to do the move. They were very professional and meticulous about doing the work. They carefully wrapped and secured all items as they prepared to load the truck, all the while moving through the process very efficiently. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to load the truck for the move.Upon arrival at the new storage unit, they asked if I wanted the items stored in a way to leave as much space as possible for other items. Well they exceeded my expectations and methodically packed the items in the new storage unit very efficiently. In fact, they did such a great job utilizing the space that it appeared that I rented a larger storage space than I needed. I have lots of space to store more furniture, etc. Kudos to the Mike and John!! I felt that Movers 201 gave me a fair price and the crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. I moved a month ago during this crazy time the world is going through and I must say that my entire experience was impeccable from beginning to end. Amir was able to assist me in a matter of a week before my move. The only thing was that we underestimated the amount of inventory I had for my move since it took a little longer then expected on the day of the move. The day of the move Prince and Carlos were on time and ready to assist me with anything I needed to get my move done diligently and quickly. They even assisted me in packing some of my last minute items and simply did a great job. They were extremely pleasant and made the experience much easier then any other time I moved in the past. They were very careful with my furniture and all of my items. They were very accommodating when setting up my furniture and items in my new home. I would truly recommend the company and Prince and Carlos to assist you on your next move. WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! STOLEN merchandise, many things stolen! CRUSHED boxes! BROKEN things! They also didnt deduct the $25.00 (when you book the moving date) off the charge they charge you that $25.00 instead of deducting it like they tell you they are going to do but they dont so if you see it deducted on the receipt, it isnt! Trust me it isnt! I figured out the bill and the $25.00 dollars NOT deducted! Figure out your bill and you will see but dont let it get that far, dont use them as movers for your sake! They also took my things out of boxes that I packed and then where did they put those things that were in those boxes that they put other things in? They stole them, they disappeared!! They invaded my privacy by snooping through my personal items with boxes opened when they were secure with packing tape! INVASION OF PRIVACY! They also take their time and I mean really take their time, they were at my small apartment where I moved from for 7 hours they were there! There were 3 guys but the 3rd guy didnt even start moving things until 2 hours later! The whole moving job took 15 hours because they wanted to get paid more because youre paying by the hour! The so called movers took their time getting to my new place which took then 1 hour and 20 minutes plenty of time for them to steal my things and go through my things to take what they wanted! My new place was not that far from the place I moved from in the same county! The owner Amir will respond to this post and lie you see! Amir is foreign so he had someone in a foreign accent call me and he started saying something and he was laughing and then I hung up! This company is CORRUPT! STAY AWAY! Amir is a liar! He is the owner of a company that he shouldnt be an owner of any company! Amir responded to my review and it is all nonsense! I dont even know this other person that wrote another bad review about this company! He posted a bad review about someone named KC, a guy or a gal dont know and he copied and pasted that review on his response to my review! Amir is crazy! The management and owners of Movers201 should be very grateful to their movers, because the men who did the physical work of this company are the reason they are getting a 4-star review (there are no half stars).There was a severe lack of communication and dodging from the company; The belongings took significantly longer to arrive than we were originally told (originally 7 days total, became 18 days). However, that was not as frustrating as being given delayed date after delayed date with no real concrete idea of when the movers would be arriving. It took six attempts at contact with the company (all imitated by us) before we were given an actual day, let alone a day they actually stuck to.The men who came to pick up the belongings were quick, efficient, friendly, and professional. The men who arrived to drop off the stuff were equally so, especially with it being 8pm in 90 degree Arizona heat. The move (though not huge) was done quickly and everything arrived with no damage to the items within. The men who interacted with us in-person were the highlight of this company and that cannot overstated.The struggle of trying to get a hold of the management and owner to get information was like pulling teeth (aggravating, painful, and unnecessary). Amir was originally very quick at responding and cordial with the affair. But after the we had finalized the move, he was very difficult to get a hold of, and would not respond to texts or calls to the companys main line.If the delivery date had to be moved (for matter reason, COVID or no COIVD), that should have been made available to us. We would have been significantly ore understanding and amicable. But being blindsided multiple times by a company that had all of our belongings and were paid in full is not something that would sit right with anyone. Giving bad news is not fun ( we all know that) and we would all love to avoid it, but it is a part of owning a business. No matter the circumstances, the lack of communication is not professional or comforting coming from a *paid* customer standpoint.We will probably not be using Movers201 in the future because of the fiasco of dealing with management, but it is definitely not because of the mover workers themselves (those guys are awesome!)

Superb Service. Value for money. The quote was 700-800$ for a 1 bed apt. FinallyThey ended up taking 857$ but that’s fine. As we added a lot more last minute things. Which they readily accepted.Amir is very prompt with his responses. We had an initial delay of an hour with my Bldg management being a pain about the COI. But finally they sorted out and the movers were thurally professional in their job.Good work.

I was completely satisfied with the service. All my furniture was moved without a single scratch or damage. Guys made sure that every piece was properly wrapped and taped before moving to prevent any damage. The timing was also very good without unnecessary delays or procrastination. WARNING!!!! The good reviews are all FAKE! Warning! This is the WORST moving company ever! Read all, youll be glad you did! STOLEN PROPERTY, CRUSHED BOXES, BROKEN THINGS, INVADING my Privacy! Amir the owner responded to my post of this bad review, he is a liar! I, that morning confirmed with him what had to be moved! It was on my order when I booked the moving date from months before but he lied to his movers telling them it was a one bedroom apartment when my order said a two bedroom apartment and he told them it was only a 4 hour job that was one of the movers told me! He knew there was About 60 boxes or so and 2 bedrooms worth of furniture, that was before they showed u I confirmed that he actually said it to me but lied to them I wouldnt trust them, if you cant trust the owner, you certainly cant trust the movers that work for him because they follow his lead! I am NOT a liar, he is! This is how the nightmare started with them here goes >Before they got started, even though I thought I taped the boxes securely just to make sure it is I said to them make sure the boxes are taped securely, they didnt listen so boxes collapsed! Alot of things were STOLEN! Even things that they had no use for! They took my CD collection, Mike who is 38 took the CDs that I had for 25 years and they threw out other things that they didnt want to bring to me!They came to place to have MIKE to have a nasty attitude he thought it was a 4 hour job and a 1 bedroom apartment and they make me sign a paper to sign that I cant pack all of these things, CDs, computers tablets printers etc. etc there was alot on that list and I said to Mike Youre not going to steal from me! I didnt understand the list of things that was half my inventory! I thought it was procedure so I just signed the form! They showed up at 9:45 didnt start until 1 hour later and when they finally did start moving my boxes there was supposed to be 3 movers and 2 of them were working and Im thinking wheres the 3rd guy? Then after they finally loaded the truck and to come to my new place, they were a no show for a long time! They left the place I came from at 3:28 showed up at my new place at 4:47 before that I texted Amir the owner and asked where are they? They didnt tell me that they werent coming to my place yet and when Mike called me at 4:22 he said well be there in 10 minutes, it was 25 minutes later at 4:47! My first thought was I hope they locked up the truck because all my things are there I dont want my things to be stolen! Never thinking that these movers would rob me but that is exactly what they did! I hired robbers disguised as movers! Before that I found out that my things were missing and there also were broken things and crushed boxes also and a piece of my end table the wood came off of it! Before all of that, they spent in a 2 bedroom apartment 5 hours and 45 minutes before getting to my new place! The whole job should have taken up to 5 and a half hours! Also the 25 dollar to book the job never came off the price!The 25 dollars was worth them moving my furniture from one floor to another! The estimate as they call it for me was up to 1140 I did not autherize a price of 2500 from the 1140 that Amir tried to charge! The worst experience ever with anyone! I even have an elevator in my home and they left my house at 12 Midnight! This moving company are cheaters stealers, and liars! Trust me on that! Amir, the owner will read this review and he will lie about what he says, dont believe him! Needless to say I did not authorize this charge of 2500 Dollars so it turns out they did NOT get paid! Hired Movers 201 for a local move from Hudson County NJ to Rockland County NY. Movers (Joshua & Prince) arrived promptly at 9 AM. Everything was packed, and ready to go, and these guys moved quick! The move was done in under 4 hrs including travel, and they billed me for the minimum (4 hours) as was agreed upon in the quote. Was pleased with this company from beginning to end. Quote was super easy to get and they were really helpful in getting a better idea of what to expect cost wise. Had some follow up questions which their guys were able to address and answer immediately. Prince and two other guys showed up exactly when promised and got to work right away. Even with an extra stop to pick up an upright piano and fully loaded toolbox, they were able to get us moved in to the new place with a couple of hours shaved off from the estimated time. Really appreciate the hustle and the ease of dealing with them. Oh and they all had great attitudes and did everything they could to make sure we were fully satisfied with their service.

To start off... I would consider myself fairly critical when it comes to reviews, so please consider this 4 star rating as the real deal!We booked with Movers 201 because we were desperate and had no other options (Not because we didnt plan ahead, but because the closing on our house was postponed!). Although we were a bit alarmed with their lousy reviews, they seemed comprehensive on the phone. We booked through Jess who explained the process and immediately emailed me a quote for the services. Overall, they are reasonable, with an hourly rate of $139. Jess also explained they come prepared with extra boxes, tape, wardrobes, and packing blankets.The morning of the move, they showed up nearly 30 minutes late. That was the only negative of the experience. They quickly adjusted the start date on the paperwork to correspond with the true start time. There were three men who really hustled. They were very careful with all boxes and furniture. In fact, I had to tell them to be LESS careful on a few garage sale pieces, since I didnt want to waste time on carefully wrapping it in protective blankets! Each item was very protected and flawlessly moved.The travel time to the new house was fair and it was clear they didnt stop along the way. The men immediately got to work unloading the materials. They didnt chat or goof off throughout the process and stayed focused. It was about 85 degrees on our moving day, and I didnt hear anyone complain.I tipped each mover $40 at the end of the day since I thought they deserved it. They didnt stop for lunch and just plowed through the job. Overall, I feel the low ratings are unwarranted. In the end, they moved all of our belongings without an issue and at a reasonable price... so what more can you ask for!

Michael and others came to our house and were very professional and helpful in getting all of our boxes to our new home and nothing was damaged. They were also a normal price for this size of a move. I would use again!! 5 stars

We were fortunate to have Movers 201 move us from our apartment to our new home.Danny and his team were so great --- they were professional and so fast! There was no dragging with this team -- they were organized and delivered everything to our home with all items intact.We are going to employ this crew this coming Saturday for our move from our storage unit.so happy with Movers 201, and you wont find better pricing anywhere.Thanks Movers 201!!!

Wonderful crew. I had a rather complex two office move from Paterson and Hackensack to Woodland Park (West Paterson) to be done in one day. I could not have asked for more from them. From my initial contact right through the final box being delivered I found the crew to be hard working, reliable and above all, professional. Rates were just like discussed, no bait and switch there!I hate moving but I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat if i had to do it again.

Weve used 201 movers twice now. First time was two years ago and second time was last week. I cannot remember the guys names from two years ago. But last week we had Pierre, Joshua and Darwin taking care of us and wow they were a super team!! They arrived on time, and kept me updated about their estimated arrival time. Once they arrived they started working very fast not wasting any minute. We had a lot of stuff and they made it seem like we almost had nothing! And best of all - nothing was damaged, everything was moved from point a to b in perfect condition. They were very professional and super friendly and polite, good guys! Our experience was incredible in a move from DC to Boston. Everyone was extremely organized, careful, and professional with absolutely everything, and seemed so dedicated to making everything go smoothly. The Boston move-in was a tough one with a tight stairwell and a two-floor walk up, but they were determined to get everything up. We really were so impressed by everything with the move. It couldnt have been a better experience, and we will definitely be recommending Movers 201 to others.

Hey Amir, you did speak with us. You refunded less than 10% of the total damage done & boxes lost. This was after our family attorney wrote a stern letter. But thank you for your response, despite the awful work. If it does assist as well, I can gladly post the legal letter our family attorney did write your office.

201 movers were extremely accommodating! I called them a week before my move and they were happy to fit me into their schedule. Their staff is very helpful, quick, and definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. They treat your furniture and personal items as if their own. Very well wrapped and taken care. Reasonably priced! Best moving company I have ever used and will for sure will use them again in the future. True professionals!

Used these guys to move me few weeks ago. Very professional, a real moving company, not just a bunch of guys with a truck. They showed up on time and completed the move within the estimated timeframe. Everything was as you would expect from a reputable company. I will definitely use them again the next time I move.

I used Movers 201 for my recent move August. . Amir was great to deal with and his team was even better. Prince, Eddie, Damion & Luis were fabulous, I am so thankful - I used this company. These 4 gentlemen couldnt have been more helpful! We had quite a few laughs on this 88 degree day and although move 10 rooms into 6 was a challenge - it wasnt anything they couldnt handle. The torrential downpour of rain didnt slow them down a bit heck I think it was the cooling relief they need to get the job done. Although the price was under estimated - it was still cheaper than other companys i called. I would absolutely use them again & I will recommend them highly to my friends and family!

This is what I posted on Yelp:Im surprised at the negative reviews here -- I had a fantastic move with Movers 201!Movers201 helped me move last Friday, and I can honestly say it was the smoothest moving experience Ive ever had -- and Ive moved many times in my life. I would definitely use Movers201 again, and I would recommend them to my friends.Jess provided me with an estimate over the phone, and stated that for local moves, it is $139 per hour all-inclusive. Although some may think that is high compared to other estimates, Jess provided free wardrobe boxes, so I didnt have to pack any of my clothes, he also provided all the equipment needed needed, e.g. extra padding for the TV, furniture, extra boxes, and tape in order to get the job done. Three guys came over on time, they were completely professional and courteous, and used attention to detail in their move. By the time we got to my new place, I was able to just relax with a bottle of wine and some friends while they moved everything in, and assembled the furniture.Although the move took a little longer than estimated, I think I had some last minute requests which made the process longer. The only minor things that happened was a few pins were lost for the bookcase, and the base of my fan was broken. It wasnt a big deal, but what was important was how they resolved the situation. Jess the owner went to buy screws for the bookcase, and brought over superglue to fix my fan. He came over himself to does this, make sure that I was completely satisfied with the move. I have moved so many times to know that even if you have amazing movers, sometimes a thing or two may get broken. They tried to bribe me to take my review down.=======This site does not allow zero stars.This is the only place I would give zero stars.Stay away at all cost.They quoted me $400, and then charged me almost doubleI was provided with an estimate. So I dont get a fixed rate.Its a way for them to charge you whatever they want.As you can see from the comment from the owner he has confirmed my above statement.You should never ever hire a mover who comes over to your home and gives you a non_binding estimate.The reason why someone comes is so they give you a fixed estimate.They came in a renters truck with their sticker on.That should have been a warning.It took an hour to drive 1 mile in the same town to which I moved. I live in the suburbs.There was absolutely no traffic. And they charged me for this.The worst part is that because they do it on your moving day so youre stuck with bad service and ridiculously exorbitant fees.I would not trust them.

Great service!I used Movers 201 for a move and storage with a window of 2 weeks between leaving an apartment until getting into the new one.Alwas on time, everything got back to the new apartment in prefect conditions.Highly recommend their services.

Fantastic movers. The price didnt change and the process was done quickly. Also the goods were delivered from NJ to TX on exact day they said they will.

This is the third time I have used this company to move me or a relative. Once again they did a great job . They showed up on time and completed the move in the estimated time frame. These guys are real professional movers and not just a few guys with a truck. What I really like about these guys is they give you price up front and dont add on a bunch of extra bs at the end. I used a few other companies before I found these guys and it seemed that somehow those other companies always found a way to add on 20-30% to the price at the end for extras . A+++

He was extremely professional, his entire team from the New Jersey guys, the driver, and Austin guys were polite and efficient. If I could give this company zero stars I would in a heart beat I think its ridiculous how AMIR gave my husband a price before you know it surprisingly went up double. Mind you while these people came to my house one of the guys were milking the clock sitting his ass on the porch constantly going to the bathroom what am I paying you guys for ? I do not recommend this moving company one bit! Very disappointed with this company

I used Movers 201 for a big move in August and September. We had to put the contents our whole condo in storage while we waited to move into our new house. Amir and his team were great with both moves and their prices were very reasonable. I recommend them highly!

Movers201 moved me from Bogota to Garfield on March 15th, 2018.About two weeks before the date I started my search for a moving company. The first thing that came up in the search was Movers201. I began reading the reviews and they were all 5 stars! I was like, these are the guys for me! I dont need to look any further.I contacted Amir and got a very prompt response, just like the reviews said! He gave me a quote which was extremely reasonable and affordable for me. I spent about 3 weeks packing so by the day of the move I was stressed AF. (I mean, really, does anyone LOVE moving?)The movers were to show up between 8:30 to 9:00 am. They were there 8:30 on the dot. My stress was quite obvious and Hassan and Josh assured me that they would take care of me. And they did. They were so quick to get everything on the truck and just as quick to move all my stuff into my new apartment. Nothing damaged as everything was handled with care.They were so nice I almost hated to see them go.Everything that other people have said in their reviews is true....Great rates, great communication, great moving guys.Seriously, you dont need to research a million moving companies that promise many things and may or may not deliver them.Movers201 is on point. Hire these guys. You will NOT be disappointed.

I used movers201 for a long distance move. Amir assessed my apartment gave me a quote and I scheduled a date for my move. I picked up my boxes from their office, packed and the assigned 2 movers came packed my belongings one day and the next day they were off to my new location, which was about 5.2hrs away. Overall I had a great experience, communication was always open...i.e I was able to text Amir (the owner) with questions or updates. The movers were VERY EFFICIENT and knew what they were doing. I would definitely recommend and would use again if an opportunity came along.ps: remember to tip your movers, any little bit goes a long way!

This is the most awful moving company ever. My family (all women) and I needed movers because we had alot of heavy furniture. The guys they sent us were moving efficiently as we thought but the company sent us a different truck other than what was described. We had no problem with the truck because we arent picky. We had a move time of four hours and everyone pitched in to help.By the end of the move time The guys only moved light boxes and left all the heavy furniture and heavy boxes. After paying $1000 to movers 201 who no where near got the job done, we rented a uhaul and 2 of us young women and a 64 year old woman moved the heavy items. On top of a horrible move day they broke expensive glass pieces and lost screws to a bed that we have to throw out and scuffed the walls. It was a disaster and honestly a waste of money because we had to move ourselves at the end of the day.

They are the absolute worse movers I have ever used. Increased the price when they delivered my things to over 33% and their price he quoted was the highest I received but I went with them because Amir (the owner) was a terrific salesman at the time and promised everything would go smoothly and his price at the end would be less than quoted because he built in a 10% increase!!! I dont know why my name comes up as Ronnie Catalan. It is not. Maybe it is so that Amir could say he never did the move as I now see he said to others. My name us Janice Kaye. I would give them negative stars if I could. I was told that the increase was because I had more things to move than what was there when he came to my place. That is ludicrous! Did I purposely buy more things or hide things that he had to move. Breakage that he laughed at saying my things were not worth anything. Would not listen to anything I said just started yelling and yelling if I said anything that was negative or a problem. I had stored some things with him so that there would not be chaos on the total move and he inflated the size of the storage space so he could charge more! The day before the rest of my thing were to arrive he had someone at his Company E mail me that they were to be paid in CASH before they took anything at all off the truck! That was about $5000 ! When I told them that I was not paying in cash but by check as I had for the first part of the move, the response was that was okay then because we had my things in storage. I was amazed that they so brazenly admitted that they were holding my things hostage for payment. When the truck arrived the men would not take one box off the truck until I had paid them and then they wanted me to sign a waiver that I received everything and that nothing was broke. I am not STUPID. Why would I sign a release before they even brought anything in to see the condition. And again there was breakage of more artwork. I agree with the other reviews that their packing was not done correctly but just done to increase the price. And then one of the two men who was supposed to be helping bring things into my house (which they made me pay additional for by the hour because it was okay to just leave things in my driveway) spent the time folding up their blankets and wrapping them up and putting them on the truck instead of moving things into my house. Thank goodness I had paid someone to be at my place and it was HIM who actually did more of the work than his men did. When I told the one that was folding their blankets that I was not paying him to fold their blankets he got upset, said it was part of the cost of the move at an additional hourly rate and starting throwing boxes and tape in a corner of my driveway. They left it there when they drove away. I had to pay someone to remove it from my driveway and take it to a recycling center. When I read the negative reviews now (of course Amir gave me a sheet of only positive reviews) I saw that he gave them a pat answer to some that was all lies or he responded by saying it was them who were to blame not his people. If you see that as his response to me you should take it as all lies. One of the two men today was polite and said that he was just following Amirs instructions. No, they did not wear covering on their dirty boots. Actually they told me that I was supposed to give it to them! I will write another post after I see if they honor my claim for breakage. I am guessing that the positive reviews (if they are real) are from people that had a local move (given the cost of the move stated) and did the packing themselves. I have never been yelled at so much by anyone that I was paying to do work. Dont fall for his initial sales pitch. They are dreadful. They even broke some artwork that I have had for 40+ years that went through 5 long distance moves without a problem. Do yourself a favor and dont subject yourself to his abuse and overpaying for it too.

Worst moving experience. Dont get trapped with this moving company. we were moving to Ohio and hired this company for our move. Initially the Amir came to our apt and gave a quote of $1600 for the move and on the day of the moving, they increased it to $2300, which is 50% increase. Dont have these guys pack for u, since they would pack it loosely and purposefully increase the number of boxes and increase the sqft and thus increase ur final cost.We were told that our stuff would reach ohio in about 48 hours from loading but guys we received our luggage after 9 days ...yes 9 days ..When we called this guy Amir regarding our luggage, he is so Disrespectful, Rude and does not care about ur inconvenience.Dont get lured into the cheap initial quote u will be given by this moving company. I have later found out that they were many other customers like me, who had a terrible experience from this moving company.

Movers 201 has made my move as smooth as could be. I highly recommend this compans. ADMIRE owner was my first contact. He gave me a more than reasonable estimate for my move from North Jersey to South Jersey. My move was Feb 12th 2017. Men arrived right on time at 9am sharp. Again the all odds the weather started off badly with ice and freezing rain. I was so concerned because I have 15 stairs to enter my home. But in spite of the bad weather these two gentlemen had that truck packed and ready to go in two hours. I was amazed. Now they had the task of driving in this terrible weather a normal 1hr 15 min drive on roadways cut back to 40mph.speed limit. I was concerned for their safety. And worried the extra cost of travel with roads. But to my surprise these guys not only got my stuff there safe and sound but then fully packed my storage unit, in such a timely fashion that it only cost me an extra 50.00. These guys were real GEMS. I was so nervous choosing a mover because I read so many less than desirable reviews. But not With MOVERS 201. I got everything as it was laid out to me. All I can say Admir so Kudos to running a great honest trustworthy company with an awesome staffI will definitely recommend your company to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.THANKS AGAIN TO YOU AND YOUR STAFF.SINCERELY DAWN PROVENZANO

Hired Movers 201 with 4 movers and a truck. At the time of contacting I requested that movers use shoe covers while moving in furniture to newly carpeted new house. Amir promised that they will do so. However, they did not have shoe covers. Movers said they were not told by Amir to do so. After calling Amir, he said(or lied) that he gave them shoe covers. However, no one could locate it. Finally they covered their shoes with plastic wrappers. Secondly, they did not take care of my stuff while moving. I have cracks and scratches in my furniture and other stuff that I clearly told them as delicate. I did not contact them with this concern as Amir yelled at me when I took out my frustration regarding shoe covers. Would highly recommend them if you want to waste your money and break your stuff.

My unit was 120 with in a year it went up to 165 now less than a year later its going up to 224. I told them Im now looking for a cheaper place with climate control and they told me i was going to be charged a fee of 215 dollars plus give them 10 days notice. ( Should have read the contract more thoroughly)I just got an email from them saying to either remove my post or tell you that i was 2 months behind because im out of work and only rely on a small amount that I do get, if I DO get paid. They said if they were not nice they could have auctioned off my belongings.I have to say the movers were very nice and moved things quickly. My wide screen TV was well wrapped as were my living room items and kitchen items.I was just advised i was given a free month, I honestly cannot recall that, so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.The movers were very nice and moved things quickly.They took care of my items. things like my widescreen TV and living room sectional were wrapped up.
