This storage facility used to have managers & employees that went above & beyond. Not anymore. The new management staff is weak & cold…they don’t care about their tenants. Also, watch your rate…they increase it periodically. Good news, if you lower your expectations then this storage facility is ok. Case in point- I get water in my unit when it rains. I’m used it though. JP…you can make Extra Space Storage Great Again…if you want.

So I came in today looking to store some things preparing for a move and boy was it super freaking easy! Thanks to Stephanie who was so pleasant and helpful. She literally walked me through everything step by step, she was very hands on. I appreciate her so much! Honestly such a delight. I will recommend this specific storage to anyone who needs it! The BEST.

Ive had a space at this facility since 2017. Moved once from a 10x10 to what I have now, a 10x15. Setting up the lease originally was very efficient as was changing units. Accessing the unit has never been a problem. Recently I had some logistics questions about the rental and talked to Ron who was extremely helpful and took great care of me. Recommend this place to anyone that has storage needs in the area.

I wanted to share my experience dealing with Stephanie Rivera, the Store manager at the Railroad Ave location in Hackensack, NJ. She was extremely helpful in making my transition to a new unit in Washington D.C. I ended up having to leave some boxes, (my rental truck was not big enough to take everything in one trip) She arranged a smaller unit at a reasonable rate until I could return the following month to retrieve them. I cannot say enough about her professionalism, courtesy and helpfulness! She is what exceptional customer service looks like!

I was very satisfied with my time at Extra Space Storage in Hackensack. Ive had multiple spaces at this facility (10x10 - 2 times, 5x5) over the past 4 years for various reasons. The staff/management have always been accessible and helpful, especially after my mom passed unexpectedly (Ken).This year I had great interaction with Ron.And the closeout process was very smooth with Stephanie. She was very helpful.If I have any storage needs in the future, I definitely go here.

The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. Ron was very helpful today. I told him I had moved out of my unit last weekend and he quickly acted to cancel a payment for next months rent that had been charged earlier today. I would definitely rent from them again and would certainly recommend them to others.

Robert was an outstanding manager who was courteous, thorough, knowledgeable and proficient with his work. Moving is such a challenging situation, and I had many items to move. Robert was helpful in showing me how to use the elevators using the locks, entering and exiting the facility. He made a difficult situation so much easier. Second time around here so I figured I’d finally leave them a review. The new girl is just as great as my man Ken who left (let’s go 49ers!). Not the cheapest in the area but still tha best by far. Most important though is that their masked up 💯

A clean storage facility with many options and different size storage units for you to store all of your personal belongings. Contrast, you better pay your bill or they wont hesitate to initiate an Auction on what you hold sentiment for!

I called to get more information in regards to the website pricing, I spoke with Joe at first and he was very helpful in determining the size that i needed. He went over the lease process as well but i wanted to see the different size units and take a tour. When i went down his coworker Stephanie showed me the different units, explained the access in and out of the facility and provided a sense of security for storing my items. Stephanie and Joe is a good team and i will definitely recommend my friends and family.

We were helped on the phone by Joe and at the facility by Stephanie. Both were friendly and polite and seemed to know what they were doing. We got a great deal on a 5x10 unit. Everything is very clean, well lit and safe. We wanted climate controlled and there is also pest management, both big pluses for me. We already knew about the one time admin fee; they also offered us insurance but we are covered through our existing policy. We had a lot of questions about the payments and they were very patient. If you need supplies, you can purchase them there. Its hard to believe the building is ten years old....looks brand new, very well maintained. All in all, a very good experience. Im happy we chose this location.

It was one of the best experiences I’ve had! Being a former Retail Manager, my standards are higher than most. But, they reached the bar and then some. Both Managers were very courteous and informative, I came there to just check out a room the day before, but it was everyone there PLUS the premises themselves that made me come back and rent a space from them.
