The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Moving stuff in and moving out was a breeze. The facility was also very clean and very well maintained. There was always enough carts even on a weekend and the hours made it very convenient to be able to use whenever we need.

I would like to update my review from a few weeks ago. I dont know how to delete that review. I went to the wrong storage facility. It is right next door to Life Storage. When I called customer service they asked me if I was at the correct location, because there is a storage facility right next door. I went back the next day, and sure enough I had been at the wrong facility. We now have a storage unit at Life Storage. Rob was incredible. Very helpful and pleasant. He helped us get exactly what we needed and went out of his way to make us happy. The facility looks brand new, is climate controlled, clean and bright. If you need storage space I would highly recommend this place 320 S River Street in Hackensack!

I just went to look at the storage rooms. Now, while reading the reviews, I wonder if I was at the right place. Everyone says the place is new. We were told today that its about 30 years old. Everything on line indicates that the rooms are climate controlled. We were told they are not. There is no elevator. There is a lift for your boxes, etc, but no people are allowed on it. Thats fine, but its not an elevator. There are no lights or outlets in the room. I guess thats how all storage rooms are. I have never had one, but I was surprised.I give 3 stars only because the website information is not accurate. It makes me wonder what the final monthly cost will be.
