Had an appointment for just an oil change and was going to wait for my vehicle. Spent 5 hours waiting for a simple oil change!.. when I finally picked up my vehicle they left all the plastics on seats and floor . Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I set an appointment for 7am ( 10/22/21 )and they still had the entrances blocked when I got there.. I waited and called them.. A lady answered and said she would have someone to move the cars… I waited until 7:30am and still no one came outside to move the cars out of the entrance. Not sure if their service techs were late or no techs at all but it was a waste of time.
As a first time buyer I had a great experience buying my first car. I went to other dealerships and they were trying to sell me cars that turned out to be sold already or just didnt have cars in my price range. Thankfully I got the help I needed. Cesar walked me through process informing me of everything that I needed to know. Now Im able to get a promotion at my job, which is two hours on bus but 15 min in car at a different location. Im extremely thankful. This place is a life saver!
I bought my 01 Accord back in 2004 from Hayward Honda. Excellent salesman, Trent helped me make one of the best car decisions ever. My Accord is still here. My daughter, 18 years later, simply goes in for a test drive leaving with a 19 Civic. My decision was based on the same love I got from Hayward 18 years ago! I am actually rating their service department next door to it. Please note that when you get your car fixed, you have to go to the separate building across the side rode off Mission.I went to get my CVT recall done and the people working here amazing. The San Leandro Honda is trashy. The staff at the service desk were friendly as ever and they were very personal with me and I had conversations with them about things not relevant to work. The service was friendly and efficient with great communication skills. I would definitely bring my car back here, but the only thing is if you are getting a ride from someone, they may not have parking.
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced....I called about a part and was met with an immediate attitude. I actually bought a car from Honda of hayward and sold it to buy another brand of car just so I wouldnt have to deal with this service department ever again. Extremely unprofessional...do yourself a favor get rid of your Honda if you have to go here to service it, its not worth the stress
Best place to buy a Honda, period.After a long search, walking out of many other Honda dealerships after being fed up with the lies and the sleazy tactics I didn’t think that Id find a reputable place to buy a car where I didnt feel like I was being bent over.Then I found Hayward Honda... Ken, Cesar, Mike and Shawn, gave me a 100% transparent, pleasant, and professional experience; the complete opposite of what I experienced everywhere else. I was in and out in less than 3 hours with my new Civic and at a great price - it was quick because there was no BS, no games, signed for the number we originally agreed on and no “surprises” with the out the door price - just honest business! By far the most honest and professional dealership in the Bay Area, and trust me, I visited quite a few on my search. Cesar the sales rep was a pleasure to work with.I will never ever bother going anywhere else, youve earned a customer for life!
Be aware! They sell janky cars. I bought a 2012 chevy with 82000 miles on it and have been having problems with it ever since. I bought it in April and the check engine light came on. a week after that my car over heated. I took it to them and they had my car for 2 days and said that they didn’t see a problem and was just low on fluids. I use it a few weeks later and it over heats again. I took it back to the service area and they tell me to take to chevy because chevy can diagnose their cars. I thought that was weird since I bought it from them and at the time hadn’t even been 60 days. I take it to cali we collision for body work and they are the ones who told me that my coolant reservoir was cracked and the hose as well. Even after getting that fixed a month later my check engine light is on. I literally just use the car to drive to and from work and only had the car for about 5 months and put so much time in it. I was better off finding a guy on facebook
I did a quick drop in to check out which car to buy next. A very nice clerk had help me and i was satisfied. Say to come back when purchasing.
Their service is 3x slower compared to other places. Just came in to fix a recall for DMV registration. For the same recall, it seems to take less than 1 hr to fix. Here it took 3+hrs. They only touch the car after 2 hrs of appointment time. Don’t know why they even have appointments then. Be prepared to waste whole day at this place for even small service

I called ready to purchase a 2021 Honda Pilot. The sales person rushed me right from the jump telling me they didn’t want to honor the price listed unless I came in that day which meant a 4hr drive for me. I would have been willing to put down money to hold it or be emailed the paperwork but then he text messages me and says I need to do all the paperwork for the vehicle that night in order to have the car held for that price. Your staff is rude and you just lost a $40,000+ sale.

Worst possible outcome! Now having that said, my expectations werent very high as it is a Honda dealership and not BMW. But still... picking up the phone shouldnt be brain surgery.Had my car serviced, decided to call since no one had call to say it was ready and closing time was coming up soon. I called for 30 mins with no answer, over and over again. The receptionist, service, parts, no one. So I decided the sales dept, they picked up, put me on hold and no one ever came back.So I decided to just go down there. As I walked in, the place is a ghost town, no one there. Then as I started talking to the them, I was given all the excuses, including were busy, really?! Not a single person is here.Ok, so I go to leave and got into my car. Checked the computer and it said oil life 30%, funny, I just changed the oil. So I check the paperwork and the tech wrote reset all computers. Ah.... no you didnt.So I went back into the store and this time, I was greeted by the service mgr. Perfect, I need some help and I wanted him to know my experience wasnt great, maybe he would care. NO HE DOESNT! He said maybe the phone lines are down? Really?!... then how did sales dept pick up and leave me on hold? I told him about the oil computer not being reset. He said Oh, maybe they just missed it, so I asked what else did they miss? No answer. He took my car to the tech, who just pushes a few buttons to reset, the mgr rudely walks away, never saying anything else to me and the tech drives my car out and hands me the keys. Oh, sorry, we had someone call in sick. I guess excuses is all theyre good at. Go figure!
I have always taken my car to get serviced at the dealership. I just moved to the area so decided to go to the hayward one since its the closest one. Had an appointment at 8:30 am to drop of my car for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would be ready at 11:30 and said they could send a ride for me when it was ready since I wouldnt have a ride back. Car wasnt ready until almost one. Ok fine, they were busy and it took longer. The lady that called me told me she would now send a ride for me. I waited and waited. An hour went by and nothing so I called her back. No one answered, I tried like 5 more times as well. Seeing it was already past 2 and I was supposed to be at work at 2 I got an uber to take me there. Go in and tell them everything that happened including me being late to work because of it. All they did was say sorry and give me $25 off, still had to pay $73. I wasted my whole day waiting for my car to be ready. Wont be going back there. Rather drive a little more and go to the San Leandro one. Very very disappointed.

Honda of Hayward did a great job with helping me purchase my first car. My experience went smoothly and my mom and I were able to have all of our questions answered. We first saw the car on AutoTrader, and I sent in an inquiry. Unlike other dealers, Anna Marie called me up and we set up an appointment for later that day. Very happy with the service we received, and we werent even at the dealership yet. So, we made the drive out to the dealer (we lived an hour away, but really wanted the color scheme of the one we saw). We went inside and met Anna Marie, and she blew us away with her hospitality and charm. She made us feel zero pressure and was willing to let us take the van out on our own for a drive. We liked being able to do so, since we could try it out without feeling like we are being watched, and we could discuss among the family how we feel about the van. We got back to the dealership and sat with Anna Marie who went through the details of purchasing. She was patient with us since we were first time buyers, and she reviewed everything with us. In the end, she worked with us and figured out a purchase plan that met our needs and fell within our means. After meeting with KC and finishing up the paperwork, we left with the van! Such a smooth experience!
I called to schedule a service appointment for my 2019 Honda Civic since i received a recall thru the mail they scheduled me a 7am service appointment for today i get here to Honda and its already 7:20am and they have not opened or helped me yet are you guys serious why schedule me for 7am if you guys are not gonna be punctual
I just had my car serviced at Hayward Honda yesterday and Im giving a 5 star review. My car was nearing 100,000 miles and the service recommended was a valve adjustment and spark plug replacement. Calling several honda dealers for pricing estimates were averaging around $1,000 which didnt make sense to me. With the aftermarket at around $550.I Called Hayward Honda and talked to Rob Miller who quoted me a price at under 500. Thought he made a mistake but I booked a appointment right away lol. I met Rob and he was very personal and professional. He explained the service very thoroughly. I gave a 35 coupon online and he ended finding me a $50 coupon. So with a oil change and service I walked out there spending only $520, ive been working in the dealerships for over 29 years and encountered the best customer service there. Go see Rob Miller hes the best service advisor Ive dealt with!

Buying a car during covid time can be scary but I am glad we met Anna Marie from Honda of Hayward. From sending in an email of request on pricing to bargaining on pricing, we didnt feel pressure to purchase. Her candid, no BS straightforward approach is what other sales in other dealership should learn. We have shopped at other Honda dealership around the area and felt like we are the innocent in a shark tank, but not at Honda of Hayward. Not to mention, They have the cheapest Honda in the whole bay area. PERIOD.
I spent 45 minutes just to have someone upsell me not even help me. Somethings very strange on the way workers operate here. I have credit? I had taken prior appointment for oil change and still had to wait for 30-45 minutes before the rep had time to talk to me. The reps were busy calling and talking on phone rather than taking care of customer who was there with prior appointment. Customer service is less than satisfactory.
First time buyer, it was a nightmare, They took advantage of my poor knowledge about buying my first car, i put 12000 down for a truck, the got excited about the profit on making sure i was gunna get the best deal, the sale guy even laughed about the commission he was gonna get . If you have a itin number or first time buyer dont come to this place .
The Honda Hayward shop is the only place I take my civic that I bought from their dealer.I always have great customer service experience with all their departments. During the pandemic I had to do the routine oil change and I just did not want to leave my home so I got an email with a coupon for the service from Bonnie and she mentioned new concierge service which would pick up my car and drop it off my house. I thought it was perfect time period and i went ahead and scheduled for 9 am but the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my car got picked up at around 9:45 am. The service went like always; I was told about the estimate total and what other services might be needed before they went ahead to do the services and payed over the phone when done. The coolant draining and oil change did take all the way until 4:40 pm so pretty much all day though.

Traded my 2012 Honda Civic for a 2020 Chevy Equinox. The process was easier than expected. Annamarie and Ivan really helped me and walked me through everything from start to finish. Ivan even helped me set up some of the features in my new car.
Really disappointed with my experience. Went in with my mom and nice to look at a used car. I have great credit and money for a down payment. The True Car value was lower and when I tried to show them they were not willing to work with us. Just because we were a group of girls and the guy out right declined to even look into anything. Wow! And with everything going on right now in our economy. We’ll be heading to other dealerships this weekend.
I don’t want to give them any star but has no other option. These people are very unprofessional and only care about selling a car. Once I was done buying the car they did not care about what other questions I had about the car or even went with me around the car to see if there are any defects or scratches around the car. Just handed me the key and told me its outside. Go somewhere else because need better service for all the money you spending.

I am a regular customer so I write this with deep concern. My appointment was scheduled at 11:40am. I waited in the car for more than 30 minutes for a team member to finally acknowledge me. After getting the primary inspection and my paperwork done so I can leave the car, Robert (the specialist) was very persistent about completing extra things to my car. Total ended up costing almost $300! After I thought it was settled I ended up waiting for 4 hours for what turned out to be a simple oil change, fluid change, and tire rotation. I’ve done this before and the longest i’ve waited was 1 hour. This was definitely my worst experience:
It was a great experience. As soon as I reached, within minutes I was attended. The customer lounge is clean and spacious. I was told it may take 3 hours, but to my surprise, my car got ready in 1.5 hour.The associate was gracious and knowledgeable and he explained me all the details.Overall very good experience.
The salesperson I interacted with was Ella. First of all, Honda of Hayward was providing unmatched prices for the car that I was interested in. I was very pleasantly surprised by how transparent buying a car from them was. Ella was very helpful and patient about explaining everything to us. Waste of time I told them my situation about my credit over phone assured me they can work with me so I dragged my wife and 5 month down for 3 hours and no even with 3000 down not even a maybe terrible service waste of time no network of lenders for poor credit

I bought my Honda Pilot 1 1/2 year ago. I am very pleased with it. I always take good care of the car and I would go to Honda to have the oil change. Their price are very reasonable and I got a $10 coupon. I dont know much about car, so this is the place I can trust and these are honest people.
The service was totally bad. I had an appointment at 10:40am but they got me at 12:40am which means I had to wait 2 hours. Finally after two hours wait, they asked me to drop the car for service. I’m very disappointed with their service. There were two line one for appointments and the other one for non-appointments. They were taking both line at the same time which doesn’t make sense. If they’re going to assist both lines then what’s the point of making an appointment???

They really can’t take a damn joke an their website doesn’t translate well when inquiring about a car. I wrote them about 3 trims for one car. Got an email asking me what trim. I used the words I don’t want a dumb sales person trying to sell my something right now. I know what I/we want. Just need help with pricing fast. Then got an email with different prices an apr %. Asked why they were different only cause it wasn’t clear why the same person would give me two different options for the same car. I got an email back asking to be more professional when working with them. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. An I thought it was my generation that were offended by everything. Humor builds rapport and shows a persons true color. Thank you Honda for a good laugh at least. I’ll buy my next car else where!
I had a great experience at Honda of Hayward. Isaac and Robert were especially helpful during my whole process of deciding to lease a car. They were patient with me and definitely made me feel comfortable with all of my decisions. I didn’t feel pressured to do anything I didn’t want to do! Which is really different from past experiences with other dealerships. I would for sure recommend this place, and Isaac, to a friend.
We purchased a car last week and very pleased with the service they provided. Eugine was amazing. He went through the deal with patience. Addressed all our concerns. He made sure we were happy at the end. Ray his partner was very good too. He took us to another parking lot to show other cars and very nice with us. John the finance guy was also very very good. He took time to go through the contract, explain things and also he made us buy the extended warranty for good :)What stood out was even though it was midnight, Eugine and John did not compromise on anything. They went over the whole process with energy. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime.Drawbacks were: Emails were not answered sometimes and the finance was scheduled very late in the night.
Everything that was quoted matched the final bill. Car was done in one day which was great given that a valve adjustment/spark plug replacement and timing belt replacement was part of the items. Service person explained exactly what was being done in the B14 service.
My experience was definitely great. As a first time buyer and being so young, I felt welcomed. I got what I wanted and I never felt pressured to get something I did not want. Overall, great service, especially since we arrived almost at closing time and I never felt rushed. Thank you Ali and Cris, you two are the best.

I have been going to Honda of Hayward Service for years and have never been disappointed until now. Lets start with the service experience, I got there 10 minutes before my appointment time and ended up waiting for about 40 minutes before i was helped. It seems my original advisor was out sick so the advisor that took over, Robert helped me. He was very helpful, on top of the oil change my car needed he suggested a tire rotation, which I agreed to (at a cost of $24.95 that I wasnt informed of). I returned when my vehicle was ready, in a rush to get back to work I paid and immediately left (not to mention that the worker who was supposed to be manning the desk for checkout/payment was nowhere to be found, after waiting and looking for 10 minutes I went back to grab my advisor so that I could get my car). Once I got home I was surprised to find the tire rotation I paid $24.95 for was not done, i know this as it was indicated in the notes for service. Since my service date of 7/29/2020 I have been calling, emailing and trying to get a hold of someone to get this taken care of and I have not received one call or email back. Nonetheless if this is how customer complaints are now being handled then I will have to get my car serviced elsewhere.
It was a little difficult first time:1. Google maps redirects you to to the sales center instead of service center2. A little different than other service centers where the representatives come out when you are in the car for service.. have to put my car in the appt lane and then go inside to find the service center and then the representatives..3. The service overall was good and the staff was fine.

Buying a car at Honda of Hayward was quick and easy. They made the transaction simple by not adding unwanted options on the car like another Honda dealership in the region. The price was right and people are helpful and friendly.
By far the best car dealership I have worked with. Cynthia was very open and upfront with the purchase and never pushed me into buying the van. I compared the quotes from atleast 6 different dealers Hayward Honda was the best of all. I would recommend every one to c heck them out before making their car buying decisions.

There was only one woman working the front desk, I forget her name, but she did a tremendous job. There were at least 4 people she had to help all alone. She had blonde hair, I wish I remembered her name! She is impressive, and didn’t charge me to inspect my tires. The whole service was free of charge. I’m always happy with Honda, but this woman is exceptional.
Ron was great! I know its probably part of his job to get the car washed but it made my day that he got it cleaned. The service was excellent and hopefully I get him the next time I come back.
Started off great but didnt end so well. For $95 I got to hear the employees screaming at each other, completly unprofessional. The sign said no entry without a mask and employees casually walking around with no mask along with a customer, very confusing,and to top it off they lost my keys, I went to go look for them myself and no one seemed really concerned that had been told my car was ready almost 10 minutes prior and my keys were MIA. I will never go to this Honda again and I live 4 minutes away so Im sure that says alot. I have never been so mad at spending $95 in my life. They only got the 1 star because I had to in order to leave this review.

It was my first car and the dealer was very helpful explaining about the cars in detail and very honest about the deals that they were putting out. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. I recommend making an appointment with the dealer name Steve. He will definitely find the right car for you.
I bought a Lexus in MAY 2020 its literally September now. 6months later. I still cant receive my license plates. I went to the dmv too because my sales person PHIL said it was the dmv that wasnt doing there part. So I went, I made an appointment for them to tell me that the dealership had done nothing yet but release the car! Ive been messaging PHIL to see what process has happened. He messaged back the first times telling us to be patient and what not. I did for a few weeks I texted him again. Hes been ignoring all my messages now. Not responding at all. Worst salesperson ever! I get no answers with him but to be patient. Its already Half a YEAR Ive been patient! I dont have much more patients. And then the dmv said it should take no more than 4-6 weeks for someone to receive their plates. I think were way past the 6 weeks! Im NOT HAPPY with this Situation! I would give them Zero Stars if I could!

I was told things that were not true. The sales people are not service oriented at all. It was the worst car buying experience I have ever had in my entire life. I would avoid this dealership if it were possible.

This dealership sold a car to my wife and I that was involved in an accident and did not let us know. One of the sales managers, Bernard, was extremely rude to us telling us good luck finding a lawyer and then hanging up on us. In addition to being involved in an accident, the car also had multiple other problems including a weird smell that we could not get rid of, a marble rolling around in the air ducts, and one of the rear doors would not lock. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE SUPER SHADY AND WILL RIP YOU OFF AND SELL CARS THAT WERE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW!
Hello I am Beau Lemire -Owner of Better Cars pre-purchase inspectionsOh man was I disappointed to see the this dealerships lack of integrity. This was the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with any of my clients at any dealership. From the sales lady locking and unlocking the car from inside the dealership multiple times while we were looking at it, to the cracks in the tires. I deemed the car unsafe to drive, especially on the freeway.. We drove 3 hrs to see it. I strongly advise anyone buying any cars from this dealership to tread lightly and be very careful making purchases here. I have seen many small dealerships do things like this but would never expect this out of a “reputable dealership”. Keep in mind I got still got paid from my client. I’m just warning everyone that wants to do business with this dealership.
I just recently pulled into the Honda of Hayward Service center, and every time I’ve dropped in for my annually service they provided me with nothing less than 5 star service. Alicia Bradshaw was my most recent service rep and she was super prompt and professional. As soon as I pulled in the lot she did not hesitate to come see what my car needed. I really love the whole staff at this location. I can’t stress enough how kind all of them are. We bought a car from them several weeks ago. Our sales person Ken was really helpful. Led us through the whole sales process. I definitely would give Ken 5 stars. The only reason I didnt give the dealership 5 stars is we had to wait several hours to talk to the finance person. I would go back to them again but they need to add more people to their finance department.
Making an appointment online really did help speed up the process. Went in at 8AM and waiting roughly 2hrs? I did not mind the wait because I was studying for classes, so it was a good use of my time. My advisor, Preston Williams, was very prompt and courteous. Much appreciated. In the past I would do oil changes myself, but now that I am driving a newer car I would rather not mess with anything just in case.
Great experience at this dealership. Their customer service is really top notch. Props to Michael from finance from explaining and making sure I understand everything and showing me possible options and Cynthia in sales for taking care of anything. The service was timely and Brian was extremely helpful with helping me understand the necessary repairs. He was great about providing updates throughout the day with my car.
