People were very helpful. Customer service is based on your attitude (which is fine). If you’re happy, they are happy. Respect is a two way Street.

I went in to see if I needed oil for my cat, which is a relatively new used car. The sales guy took what I told him and deduced that I didnt need oil. So, I came away better informed and without having had to spend a dime, as they say. Very Satisfied!

The service there is terrible as always, sadly. The store needs more trained employees with experience especially when it comes to car parts! The checkout lines are terrible. More employees are needed in that store! I see theres a help wanted sign, I hope that the store finds the proper help that it needs especially with this ongoing pandemic we are in. Is scary walking into a store that has a long waiting line without practicing social distance. The store is small. Therefore, social distance is hard to do.

Almost all the employees hide in the back and leave 2 clueless employees in the front. They also have 1 line so people who just need to run in grab something and go has to wait with the people who have in dept questions that could take a while. I would avoid if you need a grab and go item.

This place is terrible walked in on December 24, 2020 the worst experience ever. I was waiting on line for like 15 minutes with no help and there was an Employee called Ikema and she just has the worst attitude to customers and other employees there. She wasn’t trying to check out a customer that was an employee there and I just decided to walk out instead. Never coming back.

Knowledgeable salespersons, decent prices, a little above average quality parts. Free diagnostics on electral, ignition, batteries, just about every system on a car. They will even install most parts( short of major mechanical repairs ). Good place to shop for auto parts on a budget.
Waited 40+ minutes to be next in line to be helped when a female customer came in and the cashier was so eager to help her he forgot about me. I politely pointed out I was waiting. He said hed be right with me. Another 20+ minutes went by of him flirting with her and finally I was able to buy windshield wipers and have them installed after an hour of standing and waiting in AutoZone
Needed blades for my cousins car and found what I needed. Theyre open until 9.
The sales associate was fantastic. She explained warranties without missing a beat. And showed great patience when she had to explain something over to me.

I informed the cashier Im here to return a product. She proceeded to take the item out my hand and ask me whats wrong with it. I just told her I no longer need it. Talk about good communication between worker and customer. I was asked to go on another line to complete my return. There was no money to give me a full return. The cashier had the nerve to ask me do I have $3. What am I suppose to refund myself? I looked at her like she had 3 heads. I left with a full refund.

Depends on the counter help that is working when you go. Had times where the help was first rate. Had times I wish I could give negative stars. Unfortunately this is the closest to where I now live

Used to be a time where the employees that worked this location actually knew automobiles. The staff is friendly n helpful at times but not knowledgable on various areas, but they will not stop those who are knowledgeable and know their way around the computer, just dnt expect to be pulling parts from the back.

The worst autozone ever. This use to be the only place I bought auto parts now its the last 👎🏾
Went in the store for some auto detailing products on a sunday late after noon as soon as i got in the store i knew something wasnt right because there was a line to the back. Anyway i figured id browse around and the line would be shorter by the time i came back to the front the line had not moved. They only had 2 people working the cash register and they were also answering the phone and helping customers look things up this led to waiting 20min just so i could purchase my 2 items i came in for. Meanwhile another staff member came in 15min early to her shift and they were telling her she cant clock in 15min early. What type of buisness are these people running here customers lined up and they cant ring people up on a timely fashion. Very bad service here

Very rude manager Arnaldo refused to take a item back that I bought online. He just looked at my receipt and said no you have to go to levittown store. I called online supervisor who spoke with manager who was told to take item back. He lied and told her he was getting a error message. He did not even attempt until she told him he needed to call his general manager. He proceeded to call someone and starting speaking in another language and when I interrupted the conversation by saying that was rude he starting laughing and told me he could give me a store credit. Why would i get store credit box still taped close. He said that I would have to go to levittown for refund on my debit card. I took my receipt and walked out. As I was outside the other worker from the store walked out with another customer and he has the nerves to say to 2 people, just another unnecessary ignorant argument. This is how your store provides customer service. Im done! Got my money back from another location with no problem.

I went to the autozone in Elmont to check my battery. They told me their machine had broken “the day before” so my battery could not be checked. I went all the way to the autozone in Hempstead on Cathedral Avenue. They checked my battery and told me it was bad, I opted to purchase a new one ONLY because the employee told me it would only take 5 minutes, and I had work. My old battery was replaced with a “brand new one.” After it was replaced my car would not start. I dealt with mostly nice and sympathetic employees, but I didn’t feel too much like everyone was really ‘with me.’ I was shuffled between 3 or 4 different workers and no one stuck with me to figure it the problem as to why my car came into the store with the ability to start, but ended up not being able to turn on after the battery was replaced. An employee had to call a worker who then came (on his own time) and tested the new battery itself only to find out that the brand new battery that they gave me was a bad one. It took them over an hour to figure this out, even after I asked them if the new battery they installed was a good one. They said that’s “not possible.” “It’s your starter.” It wasn’t my starter. It was a bad battery. I spend almost 2 hours there waiting on lines, waiting for manager’s or employee’s passwords, waiting for a refund, waiting to speak to somebody. Waiting for my old battery to be put in. “One minute” was a phrase I heard I don’t know how many times. No one tested the new battery before it was put into my car. I left almost 2 hours after the time I got there, was late to work, which takes money out of my pocket, and STILL had my old battery in my car. After I was told it would only take 5 minutes. I was extremely inconvenienced and I’m upset that that happened. I understand that things happen. I was hoping for a smooth experience today and it was anything but.

Who knew autozone also provides limited service for your car. Had a diagnostics run for a check engine light and although the couldn’t solve the issue they explained it and i later went to my local mechanic and had it fixed
Good store but always a long wait
Called several places ahead to see if they had struts for the front passenger and front driver. This location said they had several of both of them. So I drove out, passing several other auto parts store, putting a guarantee ahead of a maybe. But the computer they use to check inventory is never updated here and their knowledge of available parts very inaccurate. They only had 1 strut available. My day is scheduled tight so now im stuck in a situation where i dont have enough time to take car of my car, which needed immediate work done by a mechanic who took off time to work on my car but now doesnt have the parts to do so. thanks a lot auto zone

Worst service ever. I waited 25 minutes for a cashier who was outside and watched another employee walk into the store with coffee and disappear into the back of the store. When myself and other customers complained the worker and Manager On Duty said what you want us to do we are short.
They break their own rules by allowing cars to be worked on in the parking lot.
