Read the 1 Star Reviews, The 5 Star Reviews (have only reviewed them) and are Paid For, Im a Real Customer in Hilo, This Business Runs a Scam.They charge less than the competitors to repair mobile phone screens. What they dont tell you is that they intentionally set your phone to break again.There are two types of iphone screen replacements, one is what is called a hard screen and one is a soft screen. Apple uses soft screens, and they dont even give you this option.They replace the screen for about $20 less than the competition, but they dont use the same product. They use a hard screen, not only that, they intentionally remove screws so that if any pressure is applies, your screen will crack, and youll bring the phone back to get it repaired there again.This isnt covered under their limited warranty, and they know it. They dont care, because its cheaper to pay for fake reviews than it is to please the customers that figure this out. This is what they count on.There are other local phone repair companies that are much busier than them, but yet this company has more reviews, thats pretty suspicious.This company will ruin your phone, your screen will crack again, its intentional. Find a local company that has all 5 star reviews, or use apple warrantied products.I lost almost $200 and had to pay another company another $180 to fix what this company left me with. They had to replace screws that this company intentionally left out. That means that because I used this company, it cost me $380 plus tax to fix my screen, I might as well have purchased a new iPhone.

Pretty sure they put a 5s screen on my 6s phone. It’s way smaller than it should be. Didn’t notice at first because of my case. Called about it and they said bring my receipt and they’ll take a look at it. I never even got a receipt. They also charge 100 bucks for a new screen. These screens cost 30 dollars on line and take about 20 minutes to replace. :(

Terrible service and unable to repair iPad in one try. Then after waiting for three hours plus to get the IPaad back was told the warranty guaranteed a few minutes before was null and void because of some lie told about water in the iPad. Avoid this business if you want good service you will not get it here.

Recently had my screen replaced and it didn’t work right. They didn’t fix it. It completely stopped working and they still wouldn’t fix it. Took my phone elsewhere and found out that they had left a SCREW inside that ruined my led screen from the inside. They said they “double check” so it’s not their fault.

This place is AMAZING! called in to see about getting my husband’s phone fixed (iPhone XS Max) as the screen had cracked and was no longer responsive. spoke to Gabe, who quoted us a price and said he had it in stock and could take care of in within an hour. went to the mall, dropped the phone off with Gabe, and came back to find the phone looking just as good as the day we bought it. I will always go to Island Cell for any future cell phone repairs and accessories. Gabriel is awesome! Went in yesterday with a new battery I had purchased for my iPhone 6s+, and asked if he could put it in. He said sure, no problem, $50 in 30 min. Came back and Gabe had just opened up my phone & was getting ready to drop it in when he realized I had purchased the battery for the iPhone 6s (sans the plus)...wrong battery. Gabe was so careful opening the battery (I had purchased somewhere else) that I knew I would have no problem returning it. Problem was the battery was almost twice the cost. I worried I was going to have to pay more for the battery, plus the $50 installation...NO WAY 😍 Gabriel was so mellow and cool he said, “That would be straight robbing”, and he waived the installation and threw in a free case! Wow!!! Amazing stuff. Thank you Gabriel. I have a brand new (old) phone, working like a charm 💫 Go out while we still can and support this business😷

I go to this store a lot to get screen protectors. If your looking for a good worker to help you I would recommend Shaina!!! She is very knowledgeable when I ask her questions about the different types of phone cases. Also when something isnt in stock she says sorry, and says an estimate of when it should come in. Also she convinced me to buy a hello kitty holder for my phone. It was the last one and literally the cutest. I would surely recommend everyone to go to Shaina!! Her attitude and helpfulness always draws me to go back to the store.

I just wanted to share my experience at island cell. The guy that helped me there had great customer service and knowledgeable. Since then I have purchased a few accessories and so have some of my friends that i recently brought over due to some phone issues they had. Nick did an amazing job with finding me the perfect case for my husbands phone. I wanted to get him something special and affordable ended up ordering a custom case with our picture on it. It only took a couple hours to get it printed. The case was sturdy and the picture was so clear. Beyond happy and the case is still good!

I went to get a screen protector and the big guy with the tattoos was with someone but greeted me the second I walked into the door letting me know he’s gonna be a minute which I was okay with. He finished up with his first customer very quickly and I told him the type of phone I had he showed me a few options and got me on my way very polite and quick service definitely will be back for all my cell phone accessories.

My phone was dropped on the road. When I got my phone the screen was completely cracked. The phone could turn off and on but the picture on the screen were only colored vertical lines. I went to Island Cellular and spoke to Gab. He put me at ease and said he could have my phone fixed in a matter of days. Well he was good to his word. Got my phone back and it works great. Dont throw your phone away if it gets damage until you see Island Cellular.

The fella outside is outstanding I drop my phone in water, and have all my pictures of my dad that recently passed away the phone stop turning on, and he told me it was just a screen. I was very optimistic at first, because to me it look like the phone was gone, but he put the screen on and help me backup my phone. I was grateful, I got to see my dad smiling again, thank you! I would not know what to do without those pictures.

When I visited this store the worker heali’i was really nice and quickly got to work with trying to find a phone case that met my needs. I was really amazed with the phone case she showed me. A water proof case, so far it took a lot of drops and falls but under the case my phone is still brand new. I am very satisfied with this amazing worker and service I’ve received.

Absolutely no customer service. No one acknowledged my presence during my entire time in the store. The clerk had her nose in his phone the entire time I was there! All the other employees were engaged with other customers and I overheard one of them blaming the customer for the cause of their problem in a condenseding tone...nope no thank you never coming back!!! If you want good service and treated with respect go elsewhere!
