Bob was super accommodating, allowing us to visit on a Sunday with a nail in our tire. The location was busy but we were in a bind with three young children and a long drive ahead of us, and after speaking with Bob he not only squeezed us in, but took excellent care of our tire in a timely and economical fashion. We were delighted with the service and highly recommend this Mavis location!

This place was changing an oil on my car. The oil change was $85 and tire rotation was included in the price. I got there to pick up my car and paid for the oil change. Asked the guy twice if they rotated the tires and he said yes. I have marked the front tires with zip ties and knew that they did not rotate them. If I could I would give them 1/8 of the star. Very unprofessional!!! And how do I know the oil was changed???!? Run away from this place!

Good place to buy tires good prices. Also have military discounts. So what you waiting for. Havent found any tire company willing to give military discount. I know where to buy my tires. A Military discount means A lot to me. Im sure it does to A lot of veterans.

I’d give 10 stars if I could. Had a great experience all around and I’m relieved I’ve found a personable, trustworthy place for my car. Tom got me in as soon as I called and gave me multiple discounts, also explained everything and was just a very friendly, nice guy. Bob also went above and beyond for me and was really helpful when i picked the car up. had my car back within 24 hours and they did A LOT. I dropped my car for a minor flat tire on my rear passenger side and they told me I have to replaced the tire with only 3 months old so I end up spending more money. I believed they could fix it but because of the location where it was punctured it can’t be fixed according to them so I give it a 3 stars only with doubt. 🙁

GREAT SERVICE! GREAT TIRES! I was visiting Hoffman Estates from South Dakota and my tires were making a strange noise and they were vibrating the car, even though I had just had them inspected back home. I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes and Bob and Nathan told me their mechanics found that my tires were cupped and feathered, and that was causing the problems. I purchased the Mavis/Hankook Traction Control tires and my ride home was smooth as butter!

Mavis tires is no longer NTB. Becareful on the policies when you buy the tires, they have changed where you now have to pay to have your tires balanced. The service was poor and I received no help what so ever. I recommend you dont come here. 1

I replaced all four Michelin tires in Feb of 2021, and these guys gave me a model that was discontinued last year (June-July of 2020, Michelin Premier A/S 215/55/17/94V SKU: 73446)I am appalled that a tire shop doesnt think it is necessary to reveal about selling discontinued tires, especially when someone is replacing all 4 tires, spending about a grand on them.Now, I am unable to find replacement for one tire as this product was discontinued long time ago.Also, for warranty purposes, Michelin wants the shop to inspect the tires, but this shop refuses to do the inspection as they dont deal with MichelinEdit based on response from the owner:The issue is that Mavis sold old and discontinued tires to me. I am *NOT* having Warranty issues.

One of my tires was losing air and I was unable to pump in air in 4 different gas stations so I finally went to mavis in Hoffman Estates. Tom was very accommodating. He explained fully what could possibly be wrong with the tire. I was thinking “another expense” but to my delight Tom came back and told me that there was a tiny rubber stuck in the valve and this is preventing me from pumping air. They removed the tiny rubber, showed it to me and pump air on my tire plus check the other 3 tires. I did not have to pay for anything. Tom really is great, very helpful and very honest!

NTB Hoffman Estates refuses to honor manufacturers warranty on tires they sell. Ray refused to honor warranty on new tire purchased there with less than 5000 miles on the tire. He said that if we had purchased the road hazard warranty he could have helped. The tire went flat and I put on the spare immediately. Ray said that I drove on the tire thus voiding the warranty. The tire went flat due to poor installation practices, the seal around the rim failed, there are no punctures or any sign of road damage on the tire. Bottom line is that NTB in Hoffman Estates is not into customer service they are into up charging the customer every chance they get. If you don’t pay the up charges they treat you like dirt and are very confrontational too. NTB reached out to me to try to rectify the situation but I wanted a refund for the faulty tire and they offered to SELL me another tire at a slightly discounted price. All that did is reaffirm to me that NTB in Hoffman Estates is not into customer service. To any potential NTB customer, realize that there are 10 or more competitors in a 5 mile radius and all of them offer better customer service !!!! Spend your money wisely.
