I brought my Lincoln Navigator to them with a drivers side window that still would not work after FOUR repair attempts at other mechanics.Daniel and his team replaced the motor and fixed the window, which AGAIN failed after a few days.Daniel and his team replaced the motor again, with an upgraded component at no cost to me. It failed AGAIN.I brought my ride back again in vain and asked Daniel personally to either find a solution or tell me this was an issue for the Lincoln dealer.He hit the books, found a solution to the problem, and fixed my window, and it is still working!Now Im grateful to Daniel and the team at Firestone every time I go through a drive-through. Theve charged high quality price, however their repair and service not reach that level! My car repaired tie rod and bearing cost me $1500. And took 3 days to completed, now still heard some noise! After fixed. My car still have couple more issues had to go back to repaired and added more lum sum$$!! All they attracting me is 6 month no interest payment!

This store is not open on Sundays even though it is clearly listed as open. I was even able to schedule an appointment. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying they are closed on Sundays. Somebody is not doing their job, thanks for wasting my time on my day off.

This Firestone always takes care of my car and gives me an excellent experience. They think outside of the box. I live close nearby and they are fast and efficient. Ken went up and beyond for me and even offered me the firestone card when I didn’t know how to get my repairs done. It was a customized solution not just hey get this card. Whenever I have a car issue they are smart, quick, and patient to listen.

We Do Things Right the First Time. High Quality Maintenance & Staff! Not true!!! Worst experience ever. This is my third time trying to leave a review but it keeps getting deleted because its too long. They have messed up so bad its hard to keep it short. I will have to leave A LOT of details out but I will try my best this time around. Long story short, they forgot to put the bolt back on the transmission after changing the transaxle seal. Transmission fluid leaked now my transmission is ruined. They took about 3 weeks to determine if it was their fault or not. I kept getting bounced around without s straight answer. After like a month they said they were going to repair it. I waited for it to get picked up from another firestone location in Hanover Park. They originally wanted to bring it to this location but I refused. After all the mistakes they did since the beginning I was not having it. I got contacted by a claims specialist and was told that they werent going to fix it. Instead they offered me carfax value of my car. I emailed back disagreeing with their offer. I gave them all my reasons why their offer isnt fair. This was their mistake and not a small one at that. My vehicle was given to me by a dear friend who passed away this past February. I stated this to the claims specialist and he showed no compassion or understanding in regards to my feelings towards my personal property. He offered a few hundred dollars more and said it was their final offer. I came to Firestone to get my vehicle repaired not damaged. My overall experience with this location and the claims specialist assigned to my claim has been dreadful. Is it because Im a woman? I dont know but this is not right. I do want to point out that the manager from the Hanover park location was the only one who showed true customer service. Qudos to him. The only good thing that Firestone did for me was provide me with a rental. I hope this review helps prevent something like this to contine to happen. Ive read other reviews and its not the first time theyve not done their job correctly. Maybe its time to review what kind of mechanics you have hired. Firestone make this right!!!

We have been taking our families cars there for a couple years now. It has been pretty positive up until this year. Not sure if they changed management or what, but we have experienced poor service that will cause us to no longer be customers. This is the third time where we have no idea what the status is of our vehicles. On two occasions they were ready and no one bothered to notify us, we called them only to find out that it had been ready for hours. This time when we called for the status of my sons vehicle, it way after the estimated time. They told us that they had not even put the car inside, all it needed was 2 tires! Here we are 24 hours later and nothing has been done to the car that only needs two tires.

I always get my car services done here and I asked to see if I can get some air today on my left side of my tire and he told me it’s a half hour wait just for air.. Thanks Edijolol or how ever you spell your last name. You were standing there looking lost when you could of easily did it, it only takes a second to help someone specially if it’s something small like air. I could of easily chosen somewhere else to go get help but came to you guys, from now on I’ll canvas around before thinking of going to you guys when you guys legit have your business next to where I live. You were not busy you were just being lazy. 👎🏼

Stopped by to have a blinker bulb replaced and was told that could maybe get to it before closing, if not, would have to leave it overnight. Place was pretty much up for grabs, mechanic was running front counter from the back wait to just explain probem was too long. We have had much work done at this store over the last ten or so years( and judging by the full screen on the computer) some really expensive repairs. Due to this over burdened and insufficient staff we will no longer be using this store as our car care center. Ot really has been in decline for some time.

They don’t take the time to figure out the cause of the problem. As long as it runs and the check engine light isn’t on anymore then it’s good for them. I got gas before work and after my car wouldn’t start. I brought it in and they changed 2 sensors. It worked fine for 2 weeks. The gas gauge was acting a little funny. Then again I got gas before work and now my gas gauge does not work. I called them and they said it’s not related and they were gonna charge me another $100 to look at it. I will never come here again!!!! They could’ve at least waived the diagnostics fee.

Just went in today with a flat tire. They had it changed, fixed and inflated in less than an hour and for about $20. Great service and friendly guys. I will definitely be back.

I went here for a flat repair. The initial visit went well and I was happy with the service. I learned the next day that my tire was still leaking air. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled another appointment with mudhar over the phone for 2:30pm the very next day. He confirmed the appointment over the phone and then hung up. I go to my appointment at the scheduled time the next day only to find that he is not working that day and also never made my appointment. The soonest they could get me out would be 2 hours. Terrible customer service and you will never receive my money/business ever again. I used to work for Firestone and we always provided great customer service. It is a shame to receive such treatment from this company.

Not sure how these guys got 4.2 overall rating, must be done by fake accounts.Really had the bad experience with the punctuality about the service. I even not wish to give 1 rating to these people.I got an appointment at 1:30 PM, they said it will take 2 hours. After 2 hours they given me estimate(dont understand why it took while), and said car will be delivered 7 PM. When I reached 7 PM, car was not ready. Its already 8:30 now and they still saying 15 -20 mins more.These guys are dont care of customer time. I lost my half day of work, I am really upset.

My name is Linda. I had a most excellent experience with this Firestone. My alternator went out on Sunday night when I got off work. I was in a terrible position trying to find a way home at 11pm. I called Firestone the first thing on Monday morning. I spoke with Jose and immediately felt that things would get done. He was kind and extremely helpful. He arranged to get my car to Firestone. He called after he checked out my car and gave me the price on the repairs. He handled everything. I didnt need to worry one iota. When I went to pick up my car after 5pm on Monday, as soon as I said they repaired the alternator on my car, he said Linda! I was so glad he was there so that I could thank him. I always read reviews on a business before I deal with them. When I had read the reviews, I was kind of concerned about this Firestone, but I had no other options. I took the chance and am glad I did. After dealing with them....I cant give them enough stars. They were professional, kind, courteous and very helpful. If anyone is reading this review, I truly believe those bad reviews were written by people that are just angry at everything. This is the place to go for car repairs. Jose and the entire staff are professional and courteous. Its hard to find a mechanic you trust, but this location has earned my business. I have 3 cars, with one being a project vehicle (Jeep) and this is my go to place.With the 2 cars, they explain any issues, what it means, how critical it really is, and whether it is something that I could attempt myself. The prices are in-line with the market and and if I have an question, concern, or issue, we are able to have an adult conversation and work it out.With the Jeep, they are quick to share knowledge and experience and to provide tips when I try to fix it myself. I know that they are always there in case I mess up.

This location is my trust location to go. They never introduce any issues after fixing the other issues. If you have car like BMW and dont want to spend too much at dealer, this is really trusty location to go. I had my driver side light replaced at 2888 E. New York, Aurora Firestone, it is just a simple work, they made my car stopped at nowhere in the chilly winter night and got towed. Then I went back to this location where I usually go, they fixed the problem with no charge. Im really happy with their servicesJose is really friendly guy, and there is lady she claimed herself as Jose Jr., always gave us certain discount on things since we are returning customers for many times.

The shop was due to close in 15 mins, I understand that but All we needed was a patch done on a tire. Your buisness was still open and we deserved to be helped. I recently had a great experience with Firestone. I brought my car in for the ABS light going off and it was determined that there was a brake switch that needed to be replaced. Firestone was going to order the part from Subaru to do the replacement. Luckily their employee Mundo checked my VIN with Subaru and found that it was a recall on my vehicle. Mundo let me know about the recall so I didnt have to pay to have something replaced that I could get done for free. Im grateful for their great customer service and for Mundo going above and beyond in the matter!

I went in tonight for a routine oil change. I admit that Im not the best with maintaining my car, but the guy working the register was unbelievably rude to me. First off, he asked me if I knew what maintenance was. I looked up expecting a smile as if he were joking, and he looked at me with a straight face. I dont know if I was more offended he didnt think I knew that cars needed maintenance or that I didnt understand the English language. He asked me how I was paying and I said by card. He said that I must have a lot of practice swiping my card. It was a debit card, not that it matters. Im a mechanical engineer, not that that matters either. Ive never experienced such sexism in my entire life. Will not return.

Problem started after i had an oil change and tire rotations this Saturday 12/07/2019.“The mechanic forgot to tight the nuts on the rear driver side”.I have been driving local last couple days and heard the noise like a wheel is loose. Two nights ago i took my family on a highway 90 and could hear weird humbling noise at 60mph. I thought it was from the winds. This afternoon, very bad noise on highway after work so i pulled over to the shop. After checking, i was told the mechanic perso forgot to tight all the nuts on the driver side wheels. We pay for the services and such carereless work like this can lead and kill me on an accident. I got a word “sorry”. This message is going public and hope it would help someone in some ways.

Great location and very accomodating. Needed a tire dismounted/mounted before the holiday and they were swamped but found time to squeeze me in last minute. They also do all of my oil changes and do a great job. Being a car guy Im the hardest to please and they do a great job. Although once they did get oil/grease on my wifes steering wheel/armrest and center console. Its only happened once so Ill give them a pass.

Once again, this location of Firestone came on top with great experience. Had to get alignment and balancing done on a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and a Toyota MR2 Spyder. Both vehicles require a bit of extra attention when being worked on. Mudar and his associates took great interest while doing the job, creating a very good customer experience.

I needed my Car tires/wheels replaced. Was lucky to work with Mudar at Firestone. I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. The work was completed in time and as per my satisfaction. Strongly recommend this Firestone and specially Mudar!

Extremely Disappointing Service. I left my car at this shop for 2 and half days only to be told that there was an issue with my cars computer and the dealer was the best place to take my car to repair because they would not be able to program it. Taking it to the dealer found the issue within hours, a wire was chewed through by a rodent. A simple misdiagnosis isnt that big of a deal right? they didnt charge me anything since they could not fix the issue. WRONG. When i picked up my car from this location i noticed my ABS light and electronic stability light was on. These lights were not present when I brought my car in for repair. The Dealer quoted me $2500 to repair the ABS issues. In Short: My car was misdiagnosed and left their lot in worse condition than it came in. Never going back here again.

I needed to get my headlight fixed in a hurry. Its so convenient that there is a firestone 2 minutes away.Scott helped get me in and out within 30 minutes. I went in Sunday, as there was a grinding noise....The estimate to fix the grinding noise was over $1300.00! I was shocked, but they insisted both front and rear brakes and the rotors were destroyed... My battery was shot and the brake fluid was filthy.... Thinking I needed a second opinion, I took it to Kellenbergers, a family owned service in Elgin, and they fixed the the rear brakes and rotors for $325.00. They assured me the front brakes were fine for another 10k miles, the battery did not need to be replaced and my brake fluid was pristine. Nearly a thousand dollar difference...shame on you Firestone for trying to fleece me!!!

Bought my wife a set of very expensive tires for her truck. They stripped the lug nuts, broke one and didnt even have the replacement in stock. After 2 weeks, they finally got a replacement from the dealer. They didnt say anything about the stripped lug nuts, we found out when we took the car to the dealer for a tire rotation. WILL NEVER GO BACK!
