The team at River Oaks Firestone is fantastic. They are always so friendly and professional, and our family feels very confident that they are taking the best care of our vehicles. They have even brought us old/worn parts of our car so that we can see the issues ourselves when replacement is necessary.

Absolutely horrible service. They totally swindled me. I went in to get a safety check so I could register my car.They refused to give me the confirmation letter (but still wanted to charge me the $25) until I switched out my wiper blades. I asked how much it would be and they said $19.99. Fine, whatever I agreed.My total bill ended up being $70. They failed to mention that it was $19 per wiper blade plus a service fee.When I told them they didn’t disclose the full price, they simply shrugged. They should’ve been more transparent with the fees. I will never go back again.

Everyone here was so incredibly nice, helpful, and honest, and they got my car fixed and ready to go within a day. Im so thankful! I highly recommend this particular Firestone.

I brought my car in for its 65,000 miles maintenance on May 7. Less than 2000 miles later, I got a warning light that my AdBlue fluid needs to be refilled. I paid almost $2000 for the maintenance service, and was assured by Robert that everything was taken care of. I called and spoke with Eddie, and he told me no problem just bring the car back and they will refill the fluid. When that was done, he told me there was a cost of $78. I disagreed and point to the fact that this shouldve been done when I had the maintenance. This was always the case when I had my car serviced at Audi. He refused to accept any responsibility and told me that the light wasnt on, so they had no way of knowing. Are they the professionals or not?? My car has a diesel engine, and the AdBlue is required with every oil change. Why would they not know this? In the end, I just paid to get out of there. I came here after reading many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I did not get the service that I paid for, had to take time out of my schedule to bring the car back, then got charged on top of that. Unprofessional and dishonest!!!

I have been servicing my BMW X5 at River Oaks Firestone for the last year after moving inside the loop from out of state. Eddie and his team take great care of me with all of my service needs. The quality of the business is impeccable from the customer waiting area and the shop. Clean, organized, professional, respectful and courteous. The technicians are ASE Certified and extremely competent. I recommend River Oaks Firestone to anyone who is considering this wonderful location. PS:They have a collision repair facility as well that does top quality paint and body work, wheel rim damage repair and even window tinting.

Transaction: 1200 for one leaf spring and two shocks on a truck, incl labor, etcDon’t be in a rush, it’s 10 am to approx 2 pm for them to look at your vehicle and then try to get a part at the last minute for the next day, while trying unusually hard to keep your car in their shop.Also, I hope you like waiting them to call you back. It literally is a game of telephone.Dealership prices without direct access to the dealer supply chain.Pros: transport to an waiting area of choice, nice staff. They would not be busy if people did not like them?

I started going here because it was within walking distance of my home. I have since moved to a different part of town but continue to come back here! The staff is incredibly thorough and friendly. They clean your car if theyve just done a big ticket job. Whenever they diagnose a potentially expensive problem they are very understanding about needing time to find other quotes or save money.

After speaking with service provider, Michael Felix, I decided to also have much needed service work done on my 2011 Tucson while it was in the shop. I am so pleased I did!! My beloved Tucson now drives like it is brand new. Michael and Robert Sanchez, manager with a long history on Houston’s automotive scene, were both informative and easy to relate to. I drove in with a very low tire, and the low-pressure light on. Even though the shop was extremely busy, I was seen to right away. The repair was thoroughly explained, and completed quickly. The waiting area was clean, and employees were friendly and courteous. River Oaks Firestone is definitely my go-to stop for all tire/automotive issues.

Fast and friendly service! I arrived just a few minutes after a big accident took place right in front of the shop, and the team was out there trying to help and make sure everyone who was involved in the accident was comfortable, got water, etc. In the middle of all that, I still got great service and could see that they really care about their community!

Needed some fresh tires mounted and balanced, and they took care of me even on a busy Saturday.Got everything done in the time he said, and was out the door as quick as I got there.Best part is I forgot my bicycle when I after i picked up my truck.. and they called me to let me know I had forgotten it.. was told it was safe inside. So I returned to pick it up shortly after, thanking everyone in that garage.All I gotta say is THAT kind of respect wins all of me.I went in for something basic, but I left with more respect for a group of strangers than ever had before.Thank you!

This was my first time visiting this establishment, and I was very pleased with their customer service from the initial email inquiry about their pricing all the way to the follow up courtesy call to make sure I was still happy with the repairs days later! They were thorough and knowledgeable about how to deal with my specific repair situation. They offered up a couple of reasonable choices to make sure I was getting the best value for my money and not spending more than absolutely necessary. When I am ready to buy new tires or have other work done, ROF will be my go-to shop!

Outstanding customer service by all employees. Inspection sticker was done promptly. I bought new tires and wheel alignment was done quickly and pricing was fair. Very courteous and professional employees. They helped me fix a problem I couldn’t have fixed myself. When the headlight they had fixed a few months ago went out again, they fixed it totally free. They will offer you cold water and soda while you wait or even a ride if it’s going to be longer. They even put on my new license plate for me without me asking. I love their service and won’t go anywhere else in Houston!

I just had my state inspection yesterday and it failed because rack and pinion leaking which I dont understand. He wanted to to change the whole rack and pinion and it will cost over $1500 total. I refused to fix there and they asked me if I have my own auto repair shop and what it is. I didnt tell him. This morning I took it to my own auto repair shop and the tech checked and told me it is rack and pinions boot that is bust. I dont need to change the whole thing. Firestone was cheating me by trying to charge the whole thing which costs much more than just one part. It was awful. BTW, I just passed the inspection this morning.

Replaced struts on GMC Acadia. ROF is a first class place with good prices. Very customer focused.

This is the only Firestone I will ever go to. The men who work here are so respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful.They know me when I call, always offer me a drink when I come in, and keep careful records of what has been done to my vehicle. They dont try to sell me on anything I dont really need, and they keep my car running well.I would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. I am a customer for life!

Guys, I was there yesterday (09-25-18) getting state inspection for my black Camry, also got a new horn installed, tail light bulb, time belt, and couple of air filters. I wanted to like you guys, especially because I live very close, but not calling me when my car was ready is lame, then when I called to ask about it I was told theyre washing it right now you can come over I came over and the car hasnt been washed at all. Same dirt on is as when I dropped it off. Bottom line, you forgot to call me. Then when I crank up the car and turn on the radio I almost got a heart attack the radio is set at MAXIMUM VOLUME. And the radio station where I left it had been moved to something the repair person must have liked. That is soooo unprofessional. I mean that radio was so blasting loud it was amazing. Also someone didnt assemble the glove compartment correctly after installing a filter there and now it just freely drops down, no resistance at all. I dont have endless time on my hands to be dropping of my car and leaving it there while I stare at the ceiling just because of mistakes from you guys. For a 600 dollar bill I was expecting more than this. No. 1 a call on time. No. 2. not to be lied to about someone is washing my car when in fact no one is washing it. No 3. they should have assembled the car correctly. No. 4 DONT TOUCH MY RADIO!!!!!! Just leave the thing alone. Not a good place. Will change this review if these issues will be addressed. Right now Im not happy with this place.

This location is close to my work and it is so convenient to drop off my vehicle for service during the day. They provide a shuttle that will take you to work and pick you up when your vehicle is done. Staff is super friendly and helpful. In addition, their work is amazing! Took my Jeep in for an oil change, alignment and tire rotation and balance, and when I picked it up it was like I was driving a new vehicle. I will only go to this Firestone in Houston!

Best Firestone in Houston!!! Prompt service and all their entire staff was very friendly. Eddie is a true professional and got me a great deal on some body work I needed on my camaro. I didnt have a ride home to Humble after dropping off my car at their shop and he offered to have some shuttle me all the way home. I was absolutely impressed by them doing that. That is true customer service and creates loyal clients. He even offered to pick me up from my office once the car was ready but my boyfriend ended up picking me up and taking me to their shop. You guys are the best and your professionalism and courtesy is unmatched by other auto care locations. Thanks again for all your help!

I went in to get a simple state inspection (took about 40 minutes). After waiting for so long he tells me to follow him to my vehicle and he shows me my tires and according to him they were worn out. He then quickly proceeds to tells me that I didnt need to purchase the same expensive tires that they had some similar ones that will do the job just as fine. I told him I was not purchasing tires and proceed inside. At this point he still has not told me that my truck failed inspection due to tires being worn out. I just thought he was trying to sale me some tires. After I declined and paid he then hands me my receipt and tells me I had 15 days to come back with new tires to pass inspection. (I bought my truck brand new off the lot and had Michelin tires). When I got home that day my husband looked at my vehicle and said the tires were fine and I just went to a place where they are crooks! The next morning I took to a pennzoil across the street from my house and I told them the entire story. The inspector looked at all four of my tires and said THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH MY TIRES and passed my vehicle! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

I stopped by for a vehicle inspection today. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I took the risk of going to the restroom, which at a shop has typically been a terribly dirty experience in the past. I was pleasantly surprised to find a super clean restroom and facility in general. My inspection was done in around 25 - 30 minutes. The front desk guy walked me out to my car to show me a couple of things to consider taking care of... wipers (already knew that was a problem and this was the only thing to fail inspection), air filters, a belt and front brake pads and rotors. I asked them to do the wipers and air filters. They weren’t pushy at all which is what I was expecting. They simply offered to drop me off at work one day or basically do what they could to accommodate me when I decide to come back for the work. Overall great experience.

The service here cant be beat. Ive never met a greater business man than Eddie. But the whole staff is wonderful too. They are so honest. Never tried to sell me parts or service I dont need. The lobby is amazing. Beautiful inside. Free beverages. Spotless bathrooms. And friendly staff that cater to you. One time they offered me a free car wash with my visit. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I used to live down the street, but now live 25 miles away. I still take my car to them and only them. Ill be a customer for life.

I had to change my review. Their mistake could have blown my engine and the owner lied about honoring the warranty.My older vehicle was experiencing problems that resulted in oil leaking onto the starter that was installed here. Starter problems appear to be a consistent issue with this year vehicle so theyve made a starter with a shield to try to compensate for that issue. So this was not my first time paying for this install. The owner told me he got the warranty honored despite the abundance of oil, then charged me $234 dollars for installing--which is about a 30-45 minute job & I paid for the part and an install. I heard how bad the oil had leaked from the AAA driver so a new starter would not have been out of the question. But the deception along with him stating, also in writing on my receipt, that the replacement starter was at no cost, I was not going to return for more deceptive practices. But, they never reconnected the oil filter which resulted in finding a pool of oil spilled from the vehicle every time the car was in park. That was Thursday. Now Saturday morning Im at my local center paying even more to fix this when this mistake could have blown out my engine. Check costs before allowing your vehicle to be towed here for service.

They charged $119 for battery installation. The battery was $139 (high but reasonable for the brand). But $119 for installation is ridiculous. Its a Chevy so its not like its a crazy brand or model vehicle.Update- Despite my reaching out to them (instead of them contacting me) so that we could discuss my issues, they never followed up with an email or a phone call. Their response is clearly designed to make them look concerned publicly, while not actually caring about my complaints.

I was saddened to hear of Goodyear closing because Robert and Perry were so good and honest but when I walked into Firestone and saw Robert I lit up. As always I was serviced quickly and with a fair price. I am very pleased with Firestone in Riveroaks.

We have been doing wheel repair for them since the early 2000s and they have shown to be a terrific customer. They care about their customers and keep us on our toes if something slips by us and doesnt meet their standards for their customers and for them. I wish I could give zero stars.Came in to do a state inspection on my vehicle, it failed, not their fault and the receptionist was really cool and explained it no problem.I came back for a re-test a couple days later and the guy at the counter (different one) was extremely rude. He instated that they gave me paperwork (that they didnt because it didnt pass) and an invoice (which I did have because I still had to pay). On the invoice it says why it failed but he insisted they would have given it to me. He did not work the initial day and insisted HE gave it to me. I never removed any paperwork from my car so it would be there for the re-test.After arguing for a few minutes the original guy told me not to worry theyll take care of me. After the retest was done, the other guy came out and put the paper in my face what it would have looked like. I passed, why insist?Very rude, will not return to this location.I do not recommend for any services to come here.

(1) The place is NOT A PART OF THE FIRESTONE NETWORK. Therefore any warranty or incentives traditionally provided by all firestone shops from the network are not acknowledged there. Then calling itself a Firestone and having Firestone logos everywhere is a scam.(2) The guys are 50% slower than they promise even on simple things like oil change and state inspection.(3) The service and products are more expensive than in other places.

I have been going to River Oaks Firestone for over 10 years now for regular oil changes and wear and tear upgrade....great customer service and family oriented! Eddy takes the time to explain mechanical problems and provides solutions that consider safety first!! They are always solo accomodating! Very appreciative of the service they povide.

I stopped in for new wiper blades and a tire rotation but also asked about options for dealing with cloudy/grazed headlamp lenses. I was delighted to find that a few minutes of buffing left my 2006 Honda with gleaming new headlamps (also discovered that my power steering fluid was black and one headlight was out). So after a couple of hours, I was on the road with a almost-like-new car! Almost anything I need can be dealt with at Royal Oaks.Vehicle: Honda Accord Sdn Service Date: 02/27/2018July 2020 update: Consistently professional service!!I can always count on the staff at River Oaks Firestone to get me back on the road with minimal delay. Eddie always makes sure to work me into their busy schedule. Robert manages his technicians and resources to minimize my time and expense. The courtesy driver drops me at my desired location while I await repairs. I recently had my A/C compressor and washer fluid pump replaced and was out of the shop by 2 pm as promised. Although there are other Firestone shops closer to my home, Ill make the extra drive for the consistent, professional, individualized service that I have come to expect from River Oaks Firestone.

Was saddened to find out that Elias no longer works there, was told several times when i called he is on vacation for a week and its been a month already. Guy on phone was rude with accent. Stay away.....! To many other places to go where you will be treated honestly and professionally. I went in for a flat repair and asked if they could also inspect my vehicle. The inspection came back rejected for my front wiper blades. My vehicle has 13k miles on it and has never sat outside, it is in my garage at home or the office parking garage. The current wiper blades still work just as well as they did when I purchased my vehicle. So $56 later I have a nail removed from my tire and no inspection.4/17/15 Update. Went to another station to get my vehicle inspection. They removed my inspection stick told me the law had change, I need to get my inspection when I renew my registration. This makes these guys look even less professional.

As 3 company Firestones had awful reviews, decided to pay & get work done here.***6 stars for being upfront and honest*** Waiting area is spotless, they offer hot & cold drinks. All employees I met were friendly, professional and respectful. You are offered the option to leave your car and be driven home by one of their friendly employees. Work was done in a timely manner w prices as quoted. Went over work they performed, alignment specs and results of inspection. Did NOT attempt to sell me anything extra.!!Robert forgot oil change but got it done while I waited, outlined future car msintenance. Washed and vacuumed car as a free courtesy for all customers. This was the easiest, most pleasant, car repair experience which offsets high prices of River Oaks businesses. Prior reviews were accurate. Will be back. PS Bonus...there is a body shop in back that does painting, body work etc.

Fantastic service. Everyone was extremely helpful, and quickly gave my car an inspection and checked all fluid levels and tire pressure.

Ive never been to a mechanic that was full of such personable and courteous employees. I was frequently asked if I needed anything and to make myself at home. I was visually shown what problems my car had and what needed replacing. Pricing was beyond fair and I didnt feel cheated or taken advantage of. Ill definitely be going here from now on. Its close and I felt like I was in good hands across the board. Ive been to 3 Firestone Auto shops (this one included), and this one by far takes the cake.

I drove around the city over an hour trying to find a place for my inspection. It was a random weekday, so it shouldnt have been a huge issue. This place was stop number 3, and by the time I finished with them....I was glad everyone else failed. Theyre failures gained ROF a new customer! The reception area was clean, warm and welcoming. They guys had personality and they seemed happy to be there. I had a great experience with them, and I will definitely return and send others there as well.

This location is close to my job and super convenient - they are always super friendly and do not try to sell you things you do not need, unlike other Firestone locations in Houston.

I took my Tucson for a noise to Cad L. They found that I needed a new brakes and roters. I was not prepair for this spenses but the manager treat me well and accomodate my needs. I like to go to a place where they treat you like a family and look for the benefit of both parts. They work fast, and the price is very competitive. I would recomend this place.

Be VERY CAREFUL when taking your car here for a state vehicle inspection. I took my car here during my lunch break for an inspection; I both called ahead of time and asked when I arrived about the wait time and they quoted me 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting, they informed me that their system had been down but that theyd be done in 15 minutes (it happens, no big deal). Of course, a guy comes out and shows me a nasty air filter (almost surely not my actual air filter) and a whole long list of other dangerous issues with the car - no surprise, but I was already late for work, so I asked him to write everything down for me but that I wouldnt have time for any repairs today. When I go to check out, they charged me for an air filter and said they replaced it. When I said that I had told him I didnt want to do that today, they said he misunderstood me, but didnt offer to waive the charge. Because I was now 30 minutes late getting back to work, I didnt have time to argue - totally unnecessary charge and completely against my request. If youre looking for a state inspection, take it literally anywhere else, because this place is a scam.

Was quoted for an approximately $300 brake and rotor job for my wifes 2011 Dodge Avenger. This store ended up charging my wife ~$1000 for the job, stating that four standard rotors (not racing/performance grade) cost about $380, and charged for ceramic brake pads when we agreed and were told semi-metallic brake pad would be installed. To be clear, we were told semi-metallic pads were installed until I questioned the price two weeks later and was informed that they up-charged for ceramic pads.Additionally, this store charges ~$400 in labor to install brakes and rotors.To add insult to injury, they almost made my wife pay for an $100 alignment fee even with our previously bought lifetime alignment service.I would not recommend this store to anyone who does not understand standard, market values for automotive work as they will take full advantage of you...This store personally insulted me by taking advantage of my wife.Update: the manager, Eddy, has not given me a call to resolve this issue in over a month. After explicitly informing him to call my number, he has repeatedly called my wife instead of my number. This is extremely unprofessional as a manager of a Affiliated Firestone store....

Worst experience ever. Went to get a oil change and then they tricked me into saying my brakes are bad the rotors ran out and stuff. Where as i had warranty on the stuff and still paid for it. Never going back
