First off Alicia was so courteous and helpful over the phone I immediately felt relieved. She got me an appointment that worked for me no problem. When I got there all the technicians said hello, everyone was so friendly I felt right at home. Mike got me a great price for a part I needed! The place is always packed with cars. Service is horrible. Even with an appointment I had to wait. As you wait they walk by you as if you were not there. No comments as if you are almost next. I had to go back after the first alignment because they did not do it right. Second time I even left after 40 min waiting. Will pay again somewhere else to get my alignment.

*Customers beware*They attract customers by posting highly discounted ads in YellowPages and Groupon, say like $10 for state inspection while the market cost is around $25. Once you enter their premise, theyll do a spot check and conclude the brakes and wipers are bad and need replacement, no matter how good yours actually is. In my case, for 2yr old car with 14K miles, they said front brake pad need replacement which cost about $250 song with wipers. I had full checkup 2 months back at the showroom where car certified for its great condition. I left their center and went to nearby Take5. Within minutes they said Car is all good and certified Pass for state inspection. They replaced the wiper for $12.5 which is good deal.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I feel that this business took full advantage of my lack of knowledge in the auto department. The information I was given by the business was very misleading, the merchant did not do what they said they would do. In the end, the repairs that were supposed to cost me one amount, ended up costing me double that. Should have just went to the dealership!

They dont honor their Groupon deals. I called them, told them I had a $139 coupon for front and rear brakes. They asked which type of vehicle, then made an appointment. When I show up, thats when they bothered to tell me that my vehicle has rear drums and that it would be an extra $350. I wasted 2 hours of driving, took off of work early, paid several tolls, and now I have to fight with Groupon for a refund. Dont try to snake people at the door. Be honest upfront. If my vehicle isnt covered under the coupon then advertise honestly or be upfront on the phone instead of wasting peoples time and money.

Mike was misleading and not sure about mechanic work at all. I paid $2800 dollars to get my valve cover gasket and a couple of services as well. 9 months later I came to let him know my engine light came back, he responded in a very condescending and rude manner. Denied that anything was wrong with the car and refused to honor the warranty. He refused to fix the issue and later blamed it on a different part for an oil leak.I later took it to another mechanic for an accurate evaluation and diagnosis of the car, they later advised that my gasket was never touched. This led me to pay another $1k after the fact. When I showed up at the shop, mike talked to me as if I was a delusion and had no idea what I was saying. he couldnt even do the needful to at least show me where the leak was. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if youre a woman, youll be used instantly, no questions asked. There are better places on the market.

Fraud Alert! Zach Auto Repair is running a scam. I went in for state inspection because of a Groupon deal. They failed my car for breaks and wiper blades. I needed the inspection completed and authorized the change. They did not have the part in stock and I needed to wait for it to be delivered. During my wait 5 other customers walked in for the inspection and had the exact same problem I did. I then asked to be able to check my old break pads since the part was still not there. They refused and said they had to give my break pads to the company that sells them to get the other ones.After I expressed my disappointment to them they offered to do the brake pads for $84 and give me a full synthetic oil change the next time I came in. Im writing this review today because I came back for the oil change and there was another woman with the same problem. After I expressed my skepticism again they refused to give me the oil change for free and wanted me to pay for parts. I asked to speak with the owner and was told no matter what the owner said they would no longer offer the deal.I am sitting in front of Zack Auto Repair writing this review when the manager came out to ask what he could do to stop me from writing it. He offered to give me the full synthetic oil change completely free but refused. This shop is actually cheating people out of their money and using their Groupon as bait. Please post a response if you can and we can get together to stop this from happening to other people.

I made the mistake of purchasing an Auto Detailing service from this place on Groupon. After paying for it, the instructions said to call to set up an appointment. I am not sure who answered the phone, but I only managed to say Hello, I purchased a detail service from... He immediately cut me off and said, Were busy. Call back Wednesday. If they are this unprofessional on the phone I dont want them doing anything on my car. Unfortunately, the $75 is not refundable, so Ill just chalk it up as a $75 life lesson.

Wanted my car to be repaired quickly so I showed up very early about 10 minutes before they open. I showed up the day before wanting service wasnt able to because I didnt have an appointment, worth a shot. The owner told me to come early the next day at opening and I would be in and out in 45 minutes. I waited close to an hour and 30 minutes for service, mind you I was the only customer waiting. While there were 3 or 4 mechanics walking around. I got frustrated and walked out. Poor customer service. First and only time I will be visiting this shop.

Paid for a Groupon from these Guys, called them and told them what i needed done and asked how long it would take. They said easy we’ll do the brake pads in an hour so I came in and immediately tried telling me I needed new brake rotors. This was wrong because I had the care at the dodge dealership and they told me it didn’t need new rotors just rear brake pads and why would they lie? Told me they couldn’t do the job without doing rotors. Clowns, good thing I’m not stupid and already had a true mechanic look over the car.

Where to even begin. First off, the sell cars through “All Star Motors” so it’s the same place. Not only did they sell me a car that they rolled back miles on ( I know cuz I bought the car fax that they purchased at auction), it had so many problems. They lied to me about the oil leak in my truck Said it was a quick little 100$ dollar repair. It was a rear main seal leak. Try 1500$. Had to get all new breaks, tires, engine mounts. I could go on and on It also took 7 months to get my plates. Unbelievable. Over the course of the next 7 months after purchasing my truck, I was there probably 20 times. Why would anyone need to go back to a place they purchased a car that many times. Liars, scammers and all around con men. One of their workers even told me he would never buy a car from there!! BEWARE

Why sell a Groupon and and never have appointments. At least be courteous when you answer the phone. Very rude staff, please don’t goto this place, i wasted my money.

I came to get a alignment done, just to find out I need a tire rod and wheel bearing. Mike was very attentive and dedicated to giving me variety of options of financial service they have. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for good work done on they car for affordable prices. I definitely will be back.

I purchased a groupon and when i got there for my alignment the guy was rude and very unprofessional. he said he needed to drive my car, simply asked why did he need to drive it? (they normally put it on the machine to check)... instead of him explaining WHY he had to drive my vehicle his response was “i dont have to explain to you what im going to do with it, refund your groupon and leave” ... on top of all of that i couldnt even pull into the driveway . the street and parking lots are so crowded you can barely drive on them... if i could give no stars i would .

They over book so you will be waiting for hours. they don’t even do the inspection correctly and then tell you you need something fixed. They Completely over charged me for repairs and then gave me the wrong paperwork I would not recommend coming here. While moving my car back and forth and people walking around it there was even a scratch on my car then said it was already there, they did fix it but refused to take responsibility. Not worth it. Doesnt respond on calls properly and misguided behavior. I tried to get my state inspection there but waste of a week.

A complete scam with Groupon voucher, sadly he tried to justify the price by saying the Groupon voucher clearly states that only 5 qts of oil would be used with the voucher, but he clearly told me my vehicle used 11qts when it only use 8qts, this guy is around vehicles all day and Im still not sure why he quoted me 3 qts more than recommended for my vehicles transmission for my vehicle, he quoted me $179 for the transmission flush and didnt even mention the price paid for the Groupon voucher and that quote didnt even mention the radiator flush. I then asked about the radiator flush and he said he cant do the radiator flush without doing the transmission flush, these guys are clearly running a scam..

So all I was trying to get a transmission and coolant flush. Called the office spoke to a member of the team at Zack s Auto repair said I was about to buy a groupon for the service and that I wanted to check that the service was correct as I had spoken to numerous other repair shops advertised on groupon and because my car was an Elantra that it would be substantially more expensive. So I called to check explained this to a member of the staff at Zaks and was told they would warrant the groupon or I could come and and pay the same it didnt matter. The groupon was $52.48. I then drove 25 minutes arrived and was told it couldnt happen today to many cars ahead even though I was told to bring it in. I then spoke to an individual at the shop who explained to me I could get the trans and coolant flush but it would be more than $145 because it needed a special filter which alone was $75 because it was a CVT transmission. so I was now being told it could be done now but I would have to wait 2 hours and the price is now at least an additional $92.52 almost triple the original amount. So for everyone out there. Stay away from deceptive shops like this one. their is a state law prohibiting this practice Deceptive Trade Practices, and FTC also has regulations in place to prevent this bait and switch practice. In total I wasted 1 hour of my time. and the so called special filter is $14.99 at auto zone. so that would have been a 500% markup. I😫 dont have an issues with people making a living but not by ripping of the general public.

So I arrived for my appointment at 1:00 they told me they had a lot of cars in line that they would have my car started by no later than 1:30 it is now 3:16 p.m. they are barely trying to start my car and their services that they offered on Groupon so 2 hours and something later before even starting they say oh did we tell you that theres a $50 oil disposal fee and then was very rude about it this is not professional and not appreciated whatsoever

Highly recommended. We had our vehicle looked at by at least 4 different mechanics and could never get our problems solved. It took about 2 years of frustration before we took it to Zack’s, explained our dilemma, and left it for him to look at. He called me with a diagnosis and had it running smoothly with an explanation of the issues. What I was being told elsewhere and would have cost us a ridiculous amount of money came back as specific issues he was able to identify. The diagnostics were his, not a machine that gives vague codes and uncertain “possible” fixes. Highly recommend this garage. Honest, knowledgeable and a speedy turn around time. This will be my “go to” repair centre for the vehicles we have now and in the future. Thank you Zack!

Great service and great customer service they did my state inspection in 25 minutes and they did a great job or very friendly and my car passed through quickly they didnt try to sell me on anything great overall I will be returning to do my state inspection for my other vehicle and possibly to do my brakes and other Servicing.

Had an appointment at 3pm, so I came 30 mins early due to leaving work early so I thought might as well wait. 3:30 came by, maybe I should wait more since its lunch. They finally acknowledged me at 4:20 to do a state inspection which basically just uses a computer to see if my 2016 honda accord will pass the inspection. Will never go back again.

Alert ! Fraud Mechanic Shop.They selling Groupon deals for State Inspection to attract customers and when you go there they will intentionally fail it and than ask you to get your tyres or break shoes replace and than charge you $200 - $500. So you purchased deal to save $20 but end up paying a hefty amount.Same day I went to branded Shop and my inspection done with no issues.My Story(What actually fraud done):Called Zac after buying GroupOn and they said you can walkin.I went their on Saturday 7th April 2019 at 10 am after driving 9 miles and they said come after 2 hours, than I roamed around with my kid with no option and reached back at 12 pm and Zac auto guy said you stay inside office, we will handle.He maid me wait and kept my car switched on for 30 minutes and he just moved my car and put a break.After 30 min he came to me and said your car break shoes are gone and have to replace it and asked me do you feel any issue with breaks,I said their is no issue in breaks all good but he insisted me to come on Monday and get them done than only my State inspection will be passed.When I said I can come on Monday than he said I can get my inspection passed under the table in Sugar land where he can refer and they will charge $100.Clearly he was fooling and I know very well.Than I left this fraud shop and went to my own branded shop and asked them to do my inspection, they did it and my car passed with no issues.This to alert dont get into trap of these fraud Auto repair shops.

I think this place charged me for an OEM part from the dealer, but repaired it with an aftermarket part. If you go here, make sure they are charging you the correct price for parts!

I bought a Groupon for brake pad replacement for about $70. Upon their inspection I was told that the rotor and probably calipers would need fixing. I declined and went to Practical Auto and paid $260 plus tax instead of $70 plus $350. Buyer beware.

Do not use this place. They charged me for 10+ hours of service when I was in their building under five hours. I watched them go from car to car over mine, so thats even less time they spent doing Labor on my car. I came in for an oil change ($25 on Groupon) and ended up with a $1600 bill. I had cash to pay for my service but Zack convinced me that I needed to do repairs to have a safe ride out of town. Which he refused to give me a receipt for until I went off. On this bill he charged me $106 for the oil change and double labor for some services that went hand in hand. He gave me a 100 day in house credit to pay which I found out later was an interest occurred loan. Which I didnt approve. When I told me to take the charges off including radio diagnosis which I didnt request he stated only the loan company can take the charges off. Im definitely taking him to court. Hes a con artist. Im reporting you for fraud and the Better Business Bureau

I just used once and feeled like no one should visit them and spend our valuable time. I just used state inspection service from them on Groupon. When i place appointment they called me to come at 12. When i reached there they put me on hold for more than 40 mins. Aftrr 40 mins they just took my car for state inspection and after 5 mins they told me that your brakes are not good, you have to change this. I have changed my brake pads and resurfaced car rotors 4 months ago. Than too he refused to perform state inspection. Next morning o took my car to toyota dealer to inspect brakes and they did tell me that you car brakes are more than 4mm so you dont have to change it for about 6 months. I went to them again and told them about dealer inspection but than too they refused to do state inspection.They just post lower price on marketing pages but actually when we visit them the tell us do repair with them and then they will give us service, those service which we bought from Groupon etc. Basically they just want to make money from those people who buy Groupon or other online services. I would prefer not to buy any service from them if you really dont want to waste your time .

2020 Update! I hate to say it but they have not delivered on the follow up visit. Front brakes turned out well, but rear brakes squeal like crazy and Ive been back twice for them to correct the problem, but they cant seem to straighten the issue out. So now I have the squeakiest NEW brakes in the neighborhood! Cant get a callback to do it right, but after two times, Im not sure a third visit would help... Ill leave the original visit below.Im glad I found this shop! I needed new brakes and rotors. Not only did their quote save me at least $400 over the dealer quote, I got to pick my own parts. Called gave them all the information on my vehicle. They quoted me a price and set up an appointment. When I arrived without even looking at my truck said it was going to cost 3 times what they quoted me. My truck is a single cab v6 base model so its not like it has any special features. Not only that they tried to tell me I would need over $500 more work on it. THEY DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT IT!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. THEY WILL LIE AND TRY TO MAKE YOUR BILL AS EXPENSIVE AS THEY CAN. They are simply trying to hide their shadiness by lying. This should go to show you how shady they are. They want to try to lie about my truck and say it wouldnt change gears. FRAUD Mechanic Shop!! I brought my flooded vehicle in for a free estimate and an $85 tow fee and Mike ended giving me a $1,040 bill for work I did not authorizeed.Mike asked me to abandon my car and he would settle it with the dealership. Luckily I recorded him and taking him to civil court.I had to involve the cops and a lawyer for them to release my vehicle.RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I would rather save someone else the headache.Heres my experience with Zack Auto Repair:Day 1 - I called in the morning to let them know about the Groupons I purchased and to get on the schedule. They told me to come in after lunch and it should only take an hour. I arrive at the shop around 2pm and upon further inspection they tell me I will need my rotors replaced as well. Mohammed gives me a quote for everything which comes out to be around $840. I called around a couple other shops that I have been to in the past to get their pricing and they were significantly less. Mohammed verbally agrees to do the work for the same price so I give him the keys. A few hours go by and I inquire about the status of the repair. Im told the wrong parts came in and they are waiting on the correct parts. (Im pretty sure he ordered the wrong parts on accident but he blamed the parts store). Some more time passes and Im told the parts store is closed and the brakes are already off my car so Ill have to find a ride to get home and I can pick up my car the next day. They didnt have any loaners and they would not pay for an Uber but he was kind enough to drop me off at a nearby restaurant while I waited for my wife to come get me. 5 hours of my life wasted on this day.Day 2 - My wife drops me off around 2 or 3pm and Im thinking I just need to pay the amount we agreed upon yesterday, pick up the car, and go. Upon arrival, Mohammed says I owe $840. And on top of that, he said he would not honor the Groupon and that I could call them and cancel it. I reminded him about the conversation we had the day before regarding the price being significantly less and he started coming up with one lie after another. We argued for about 2 hours and he essentially said thats the price or Im not getting my car back. On top of that, he said since I was arguing, I would need to pay cash, they wont accept a card payment. He lends me a loaner to go to the bank and I come back with the cash and he gives me $40 back like he was doing me a favor for the inconvenience when the price we agreed to the day before was around $200 less. Another 4 hours or so of my life wasted on this day.To top it all off the parts used rust frequently and squeak significantly in the mornings.Save yourself the headache, stress, deceit, mistreatment, and just go to another more reputable and professional shop

These guys are awesome! My first time going to them and the customer service was excellent. I stopped in for a much needed oil change and tire rotation before getting on the road for a four hour drive. William made sure I was in and out under an hour. They also did a multipoint check for my car and reminded me what I maintenance I needed to focus on next. The best part is that I paid HALF of what I would’ve paid at a dealership for the exact same thing! Zack’s Auto Repair is now my go to place for my cars!

My 2005 Ford Taurus broke down would not start and the good ppl at Zack Auto Repair offered fast assistance and gave immediate quotes. They sent a tower to pick up the car and fixed it while offering financial assistance if couldnt afford repair at the time. The car is fixed and got a free oil change as a valued customer!!! Nice people but I arrived at 8am for oil change not done til afrer 10. Sat in dirty office bathoom never cleaned. Told me i needed $600 plus on work on my car. I just went for simple oil change why inspect my car for everything thats wrong. Certainly would not let this place do any work not even an oil change ever again.

Today was my first time visiting them through a groupon promo for my state inspection. They advise me of my brakes and wipers that needed to be fixed for my inspection to be approved. They have various options for you if little or short on funds. Great communication, will return in the future for my next inspection.

Dont take your car here for repair, like engine, or transmission or major things. Even brakes works is still a struggle for them. They are attracting customers through Groupon but their mechanical works is rated Zero. He should be closed down
