Cinda is an absolute delight to work with! She was so incredibly helpful with assisting me in the purchase of a headboard. She provided excellent service and was super friendly. If you need assistance with the furniture buying/design process ask for Cinda. She does not disappoint! We will definitely be back to this location.
Run away!!! Horrible buying experience - They treat you like trash - This company has gone down hill. We ordered a table, waited for six weeks and right before delivery, was told it sold out and would never be available again. No attempt to make it right, cant even get a response from anyone. Posting on Google is our last resort to at least warn other people. Its sad whats happened to this once impressive brand. They grew too fast and stopped caring about the customer.
Customer service was amazing. They don’t keep much in stock. Every item we were looking for had to be ordered but the lady helping us found floor models or similar samples of each item and helped us place the order. Overall good experience.
Great store! The home furnishings are awesome and a great selection. Good quality products and a good price!
Had an interview at this place and no call oh well, they have some nice things here for home decor
The cadre was very helpful, quick, and intelligible. They were able to help me find several pieces of furniture for my houseAs for the ambiance, the temperature was pleasant, the air, and the cleanliness was to be appreciated.Despite my being in a hurry, the staff was able to follow and provide advice.Ultimately, the reason for the four stars is due to the pricing. Although some pieces are fitting for my house, the price tag is slightly overinflated and there is no way of negotiating prices.Nonetheless, my experience was enjoyable, and I surely will be returning in the near future.
I came to this location after going to the memorial location because i didn’t find all the wine glasses I needed. Store was easy to navigate, but no one asked if I needed help. Once I stood in line at a register, an older white woman with a short haircut (I didn’t even look at her name tag) approached the registers and asked another customer if she was ready to check out. I was literally the only person in line, so it felt like she was purposely ignoring me. Mind you, I’m hard to miss. Hispanic and covered in tattoos. 😅 the other customer was a white woman. Luckily, the customer asked me if I was in line. Only reason the cashier then helped me, and she did not say a word to me. The memorial location has MUCH better customer service. I won’t return here again.
Fast online order pickup. Working on parking lot so navigating it was quite a treat! Be careful tight quarters right now.
Horrible customer service at the store. Tried to exchange a damaged lamp that I ordered online. The store clerk took the lamp and refunded me and then had the nerve to tell me they need to order me a new lamp at a higher price because the price increased this week. Not only that the clerk accused me of damaging it myself and had an attitude the entire time. I asked them to give the lamp back to me so I can exchange online but she refused and said once it is marked damaged there’s nothing they can do about it. Similarly the manager was of no help at all. Called online customer service and they fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. I’m amazed that a premium brand like pottery barn can have such horrible service.
The only person that talked to me while I was there was the door greeter. I spent over 30 minutes looking at the sheets, trying to find what I needed and despite my best efforts to get some help no one ever approached me. One girl walked by me TWICE, looked at me, and dismissed me. They were not busy so I don’t see why no one could help me find what I needed. I will not be returning or purchasing anything from this brand ever again.
With the previous reviews it appears that if you dont fit a certain look, no one attends to you. Spent 40 minutes looking at bedding but no one attended to me even when I wanted to check out an item and everyone in the store had a rep as it was not very busy. Ended up dropping the item and leaving.Would not come or spend my money here again.
You know you had an exceptional time here when you take time out your day to write a review. Bianca did an outstanding job for us when we purchased some kitchen equipment. She was delightful and we loved our experience here.
Bianca was so helpful when I called, answered all my questions, and helped me place an order over the phone. Great customer service!
Great service, beautiful merchandise. Shayna was wonderful to work with and the young men there very helpful. They put the barstools I purchased in my car for me. I plan to buy a leather couch and will definately be at Pottery Barn to make my selection!
This was my first time at a Pottery Barn. It was quiet due to the late hour and Covid. My friend was looking for an end table but got distracted by recliners. Nobody came to check on us at first, even when my friend knocked over a floor lamp. Then we meet Juan. Juan asked casually if he could help us find something, I told him what we were looking for, and he proceeded to find every end table in their catalog that fit my friends requirements. She didnt buy one today, but might go back after showing pictures to her husband. 4 stars because of the poor service except for Juan. I dont know if Ill go back on my own (its not my kind of decor), but Ill take my friend the next time she needs a ride.
I visited earlier today and I was astonished by how disrespectful, rude, and condescending the manager David was. He was so unprofessional. He could not process a simple exchange with an item I had purchased online. He was rude and was almost yelling at me during our interaction. At the end, he was so easily frustrated he threw the product into the bag without a receipt and told me to take it and go. It was a simple exchange for a defective item. Not only was the salesperson lazy and unwilling to help, but together with David they were the worst possible team to work in any store. This was a single item out of a $500 purchase. I cannot believe Pottery Barn allows such rude and incompetent people to run there stores. Poor management.
Erin is wonderful! She found the pillows I was looking for and is shipping them to me in Colorado from Houston. The pillows were sold out in my state and online. I am so appreciative of Erins stellar customer service and sweet personality. Great products and great people...thank you Pottery Barn.
Great shopping experience.
Truly a beautiful store. The way everything is laid out and mapped out in the store is beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Very courteous.
My family and I had a design appointment with Erin today. She was absolutely fantastic. Went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our choices. The rest of the staff members we interacted with were also all very nice, including the manager (I believe her name is Miriam).
Great customer service and great staff!!
Bought big daddy furniture online over 5K for a complete bedroom set. When we recieved the dresser we noticed it didnt look like the picture online or the one we saw in the store. Called customer service and quality assurance and QA told me that 8 Xs going across the dresser were not done on purpose and were part of the original wood. They know that the dresser I was given wouldnt be displayed in the store and certainly not online and yet my options are to A. DEAL with it B. Return it for a refund C. Buy another dresser at full price wait another 6 to 8 weeks to get it and then return the poorly made dresser I bought for a refund. Why cant I exchange it? Because they dont think anything is wrong with the one I have . Dishonesty and lack of empathy are signs of poor policy and corporate management. I am truly disappointed in Pottery Barn.Buyer beware! The Big Daddy Set has a range of quality what you see in store will likely not be the quality you receive.
David the manager was an absolute pleasure and a treasure to have on your team. Highly recommend him to any one visiting the store
Pricey but good quality. I love PB mainly for the bedding although Im left cold by the current ditch water dull colored offerings.
Nice store. Clean and easy to walk around. Sale prices can be pretty good.
I came to this store for help finding some bar stools after trying out four or five from many different stores. First, one of their employees, Juan, helped me over the phone with this one piece I was searching for but was unsure would match. He assured me I could buy it, see if the color and design matched, and return it. I really appreciated that as I know the return policy at PB isn’t the greatest. When I came to return it, one of the managers (I’m assuming that she was) gave me a bit of an attitude and I could hear her yelling into the mic for employees to stop allowing returns of final sale items. Not sure if this one piece was or not because it didn’t end with x.97. Thank goodness for Juan because I didn’t waste my money ordering this expensive bar stool that didn’t go with my kitchen. We need more people in retail that are willing to go above and beyond for their customers.Suffice it to say, I approached a different salesperson, Erick, who was very patient and also made sure to be as helpful as possible. After two months of searching, I finally found the perfect bar stool.I think it’s hit or miss at PB with the salespeople. Some don’t want to give you the time of day, and others are willing to help you as much as possible and not just for the sake of making a sale.As for prices, it is definitely overpriced which is why looking out for sales and coupons are so important. Their coupons aren’t the best though with the amount of exclusions and caveats. Love everything they sell, just wish their policies were a little more consumer friendly.
Eh, first of all, I don’t trust a company that doesn’t have online reviews for their products this day and age. I want to know if a bed is squeaky before dropping a couple grand on one. Secondly, I noticed that the majority of their furniture is veneer, and if you look at a lot of their furniture on display, you can see scuffs that would be inevitable with children and/or pets after having it home just a few short weeks. At their price point, I would prefer to pay a few hundred more and have solid wood furniture that lasts a lifetime. Their non-furnishing stuff is generally pretty and the staff have always been helpful with my questions.
Great friendly staff and nice new accessories and furniture in!
One of the head manager ladies was pretty pushy for or a credit card and stingy with her designers time. Overpriced too. Furniture looked nice, but didnt last.
Great Store! Great customer service! Ive been going to this location for years. I have always been treated kindly. The employees have always been available when i needed assistance, always polite and friendly especially Miriam. She goes above and beyond the expected!
Good for ready to ship items but don’t bother with custom made. If something goes wrong it’s insanely hard to get them to fix it
Terrible customer service! Beware that they don’t complete returns and refund you. The only way I found out was I checked my bank account 34 days later and saw that I didn’t receive the funds. I called and spoke to four different people and all of them gave me attitude and pushed back. The last person admitted unapologetically that the items had not been shipped out and therefore I had not received my money. Clearly, they need some training in service.
I also wanted to say that Pottery Barns customer service needs a full overhaul, company wide. Every single time I am in the Highland Village or Town and Country location the service is bad. And I really think it is a company wide problem because this happens at every PB I go to. I have shopped at Pottery Barn for years (including their kids store) and I always leave there feeling less than pleased with my service. Yes, you have beautiful items and I love your furnishings but gosh you could work on your service. Every sales person is distracted and overwhelmed, helping one person and then running off looking for something for someone else and then they never come back to help you. The check out process is a nightmare, you always end up waiting forever to buy a few small items. They need to have sales people for larger items and sales people for smaller items and separate counters depending on what you are buying. (Heck maybe they just need to hire more staff.) If you are buying furniture you are fine to wait while they check inventory but if you are buying two candles waiting behind someone who is ordering a whole home full of furniture is ridiculous. Most of the time the sales people dont acknowledge that you have been waiting for 15 minutes and it is just bad. I said something about this on the phone today and instead of apologizing she said well yesterday was our busiest day and we are a popular location. Also while I was holding to fix the rug screw up twice some other sales person would answer and ask if I was holding for some other item. Just seems really unprofessional and unorganized. In the future I will be avoiding your store front and ordering online when I have to. Whew, yall need to get it together. Corporate needs to know about this!
Love everything!!Pillows, wine glasses, vases, plates, flowers!!!Great service and gift wrapping! No wonder it is a favorite ALL year!!
Insanely rude, repeatedly. Escalated to regional manger (forget her exact title, but she was great). She even called us to apologize for the service we received. All we were doing was returning a table and chairs because they came damaged. Took a week and multiple calls to return. Unreal. Go to another location if you can.
They were having a dock sale while I was there. Found a piece of furniture that I wanted & one of the employees put it in my car for me, he was awesome! When it was check out time I couldnt get over how obnoxious the checkout lady was. When I was asked for my phone number, I said no. She said she had to have it in order to give me my receipt. My phone number in order to give me my receipt? Give me a break, its for data mining, not for a receipt. I asked for the printed receipt instead & she said she had to do both. I refused & we actually argued about it. Also refused to give my email address or apply for a credit card, which also seemed to be terribly offensive to the cashier. I was so blown away by how rude & disagreeable this lady was. I dont think Ill buy anything in the store anymore. Ill just go look & order online.
Spent some time here just browsing. We have some gift cards that are about to expire. From the moment we walked through the door until we left every employee we passed asked us if we needed help or if we were doing ok, etc. There was a different employee in each part of the store and they were all helpful. Found some ideas for the house but didnt buy anything. They appear to be trending away from previous reviews.
I have to agree mostly about the customer service there. It seems like most of the people just enjoy a power trip and the look of a headset on their head. But I have had a couple of pretty positive experiences also.
White Glove delivery service is the worst, they charge $229 on a $1700 purchase, only to schedule delivery at any time they please to maximize their drivers labor. If Im paying 229 dollars for delivery you better freaking deliver at a time that is convenient for me not for you!
Any one notice that Google reviews have local guide reccomendations that rate the place at a ridiculous 4 or five stars? Seen that on a couple of restaurant reviews when I know the place is an excuse for high prices and mediocre service. Walked in expecting to find my favorite hydrocotton towels at a reasonably expensive price point. They are now marketed as organic for double the price, excuse to gouge the customer. As a Texan, I know cotton doesnt care what fertilizer you use, and neither do I. Found what I needed in five minutes on the web from Amazon at half the ORGINAL PRICEI paid. I should have known better, as I called ahead about this item and the lady answering the phone had an...interesting attitude. I thought she was about to consult a mandibular surgeon about her pretentious lockjaw...The fat queen workin that side seemed to be a expert chasing around looking for the perfect basket lid for the lady in cheap flats...while no one was actually rude, they sure were excellent at looking busy.
The worst customer service, do not order anything that requires the so called white glove delivery from this company. I placed an order on 11/4 and after replying Yes to delivery emails over a dozen times, calling customer service and the delivery line half a dozen times and waiting on hold for over an hour only to be hung up on, I NEVER received the mirror. Finally, after waiting an hour and a half for customer service, I was able to receive a refund. Just a horrible, horrible company.
Nicely decorated, clean store with a wonderful selection of quality household items.
Since my office is in River Oaks I decided to walk into the store prior to my wife arriving late due to traffic. Walked around for about 15 minutes and must of passes at least 5 different employees more than once. Not 1 made eye contact nor acknowledged my presence.I was quite frustrated but kept my cool. I asked my self Im sure theyre ether with another customer or finishing up a task?. Nope, Sat there while playing on my phone watching them one by one.My wife finally arrived which forced me to walk up and breakup a conversation between 3 employees near the back center of the store. My wife ended up handling the transaction with a gentlemen ( who I wrote his name down but is at home) in which he did a decent job (after I complained to him).I suggest to visit their website, find the items you like, call for stock in advance, and visit the store to view the items if necessary. We would definitely shop here again but at the 12850 Memorial Drive location.
They have quality stuff but its overpriced and they take FOREVER. regret.
Pros:Amazing staff, well organized, and very easy to shop from a wide variety of accessories as well as furniture . Products are of high quality and there are tons of customizable options for furniture. They also offer designs services as well as installation services!Cons:The store is always freezing making it hard to stay inside for long periods of time, computers seem to be outdated making a tedious experience.Store can be quite overwhelming if shopping thru the weekend.
Great shopping options and customer service !
Please do not waste your hard earned money on this company. They may have nice things but the customer service, the headache and the hours you will waste on the phone will not be worth it specially knowing they are taking a huge chunk of your money. My experience was so bad I could write a novel but I wont. Let me tell you what to expect. They are rude! Once you call the store after you have made a purchase they will not return your calls, they will sound annoyed by your questions they will have you call the customer service line. You will spend hours on the phone with customer service they will hang up on you transfer you around and you will repeat your self more than 20 times. I ordered over $5000 worth of furniture, I only have one sofa, the other sofa should be arriving by 2/15/16 so they say! My ottoman is on back order and they have no idea when I will be getting it. I placed my order 11/28/2015, with so many complications. Ridiculous!!!! Horrible! Worst experience ever! Never did I imagine that pottery barn operated in this manner. Dont do it, stay away from them take your money to a company that values their customer. I hope one day they go out of business. Read their reviews, thats the mistake I made, I read the reviews after I made my purchase. I was so shocked to find out that everyones experience was just like mine.
Too expensive. Arrogant snobs everywhere
My mother and I decided to stop by this store this past weekend. And I have to say that I haven’t seen customer service this bad in a really long time. My mother and I were never greeted, and no one asked to help us. When I eventually went up to a sales associate to ask her questions, I was made to feel as if I was intruding and nuisance. We definitely felt unwelcomed. This is unfortunate because we both love the products that are offered by pottery barn, and my mother was eager to purchase a bedroom set from here. Unfortunately, we were given horrible such horrible service that I told my mom that’s we just needed to leave this place. We won’t be purchasing anything from here, we will take our money elsewhere.
Great place for easy design ideas. Returns are easy.
Had the worst experience in this store with this manager Maureen Maillette . If you are from different country you are treated there differently. If you are not American or your skin is not white don’t even think going to this store.
Great place for me to find what I need
Another gorgeous home furnishing store. Great selection of gifts too.
Terrible customer service. Every return takes 30 minutes minimum.
Good service
Helpful staff and good selection of items.
Horrible experience there. The guy in the store fails to explain their return policy and definitely mislead the deal, which causes hundreds of bucks of our money. All the customer can get is just oral apologies, and that they are new guys in the store and know nothing. Can you believe that???
Nice place with good products.
This store has a knowledgeable and friendly staff and is beautiful merchandise.
The store is great and the service is good. Only complaint is the limited parking.
Great service, wonderful people.
After going in to Pottery Barn to get help on a bridal shower gift, I can say that I will never shop at this location. A lady name Qiana printed out the registry and began pulling things that were at the price point we wanted to reach. The store was in the middle of putting out some next season things and had TONS of staff just standing around. After asking where about 5 things were, because the registry is not user friendly, she stopped and said in an extremely rude tone, It seems like you guys are interested in everything so maybe you should walk around and just look. Then if you really cant find something I can help you. Mind you she was doing nothing and there was not a single other customer in the store. We walked out and across the street and bought the present at Williams and Sonoma where the customer service was absolutely stellar. My money and my time will never be given to this location of Pottery Barn again, what horrible customer service.
The food was just okay. It didnt offer a unique enough experience to justify the price.
Please unsubscribe me. I keep submitting requests but you all don’t seem to care.
Miriam was an amazing help.
Customer service is horrible. Lady in the bath and linen area, especially rude and racist!!
Nice store.
Great service and excellent selection
Good quality, overpriced, good on sales
Horrendously poor customer service at this location! Rude, rude, rude!
Good place
10 years
Horrible customer service...
See you
I loved
