We bought our telluride over two years ago and while I love our car the service experience with this location has been less than ideal. Weve had a sensor issue left unfixed for months now and brought it in multiple times (taking time off work each time to do so) with their mechanics telling us they have the wrong parts or dont know why its not working..really disappointed and will factor into our next car purchase
Had the best and smoothest process ever purchasing my car yesterday. A lot of dealerships are charging more than sticker price right now and this place doesn’t. You pay what the sticker says. Carlos was a great salesman to me and very patient with me and my wife. He wasn’t pushy at all and was upfront with me and honest.
This was my first time buying a new car, and everyone made the entire experience absolutely amazing. Mr. Fabian is the best salesman I have ever worked with, explained everything honestly and made sure we were comfortable through the whole process. When its time for my next ride (Hopefully a long time from now!) I will absolutely be back.
Great service, waited about an hour for my car, not too bad I was there for an oil change. They give out complimentary car washes.The problem began about an hour after I left, and I began to hear a roaring sound from my AC* just so happen I go and get it serviced and they claim it needs to be replaced oh and its making noise.. what a coincidence *. Prior going to dealership there was never a sound or problem with my air. They just want your money. I decided to go to this location due to it being closer to home. For now on I will take my car to Cowboy Kia located in Conroe. Dont waste your time. Although the guy who assisted me was very helpful I believe his name was Brian
Do not give this dealership your email address. Over a year ago, I made the mistake of making an online inquiry about a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. Despite multiple attempts to unsubscribe from their emails and me directly telling them I was no longer interested in purchasing from them, this dealership continues to send me multiple emails which, in my view, shows a poor level of professionalism and integrity. My family buys a new car every two years and as a result of these spam emails, I will never purchase from this dealership.
Just drove my car off the lot here Wednesday evening & I’m already having issues 24 hours later! I called this morning & spoke to someone in the service department & was told to bring the car in to get checked. When I arrived, I was met with disrespect & unprofessionalism by Casey in service. Then to top it all off, I am told that I will be charged over $100 for a diagnostic fee. Had I known that this would be my experience at DeMontrond Kia I would have taken my business & hard earned money else where. DeMontrond Kia does not operate in honesty & integrity. All trust has been lost! I will be taking my car elsewhere to get serviced! I hope my review encourages those who read it to take their business somewhere else. No one wants to buy a car one day then have it serviced the next. So much for “making my next car-buying experience a positive one!”
My husband and I purchased a 2020 Stinger GT2 from DeMontrond Kia Houston just last week. I have to say that this experience was one of the most pleasant experiences that we have ever had with a car dealership. No high pressure sales tactics and no haggling. Jose and Martin made our experience hassle free. I would highly recommend this location and will definitely return to them in the future.
Nice dealership and selection but the Customer does not come first. I was told I would be getting a soft credit pull and got multiple hard inquiries. On top of that the salesmen seem lazy and like they couldnt care less if you get a car or not. No attempts to work with you, its like just being another number to them. The employees are polite and will smile and seem friendly, but then treat you like you are irrelevant unless they can bend you over and take advantage of you(figuratively).

Management was excellent. I went in for a recall inspection, and somehow I managed to get an ant bed in one of my windshield wiper bottoms. These guys went above their call of duty to get it removed.Thank you guys so much.

The service department at this dealership is terrible. I received a letter from Kia that my Telluride gets a complimentary windshield replacement due to subpar material that was used during the batch production of my vehicle. Well it just happens that a few months later, a rock hit my windshield on the freeway and caused a huge crack. I contacted the dealership and they said that its not covered. So then I contacted Kia directly and they said it is covered and that they will contact the dealership.A few weeks go by and I dont hear anything so I contact the dealership again. They said that Kia denied the claim, with no explanation and basically said it doesnt affect him either way so he doesnt really care what the outcome is. This is the service manager Im speaking to.So I once again had to contact Kia. Kia said that they didnt deny the claim, it was actually the dealership that denied the claim and lied about the crack being from the inside. How does a rock chip happen from the inside??So here I am, the manufacturer offering and wanting to replace my windshield but the dealership refusing to do it and a manager that doesnt care about his customer.They sure do send plenty of satisfaction emails and surveys every chance they get though. We are here to make sure your experience was extraordinary Please contact me directly if you have absolutely any issues at all We are the best at what we do and we want you to know it Those type of emails. BUT when it comes down to it, those system generate emails are all a facade and you will get nothing but frustration if you have a real issue.Its been over 2 months now and I currently have a windshield thats about to fall in because the crack is so big and no resolution from this dealership.

I went to schedule my oil change for my Kia Forte. No one was around, cars were lined up like they were ready to go, but I saw no one. I then went in a office to see if someone would say something to me. There was a guy sitting in his office on the phone. He was the only person there. He made eye contact with me 3 times and never greeted me at all. He did not say hello I will be with you in a moment. He said nothing he just looked at me so I left. I know we aer working through a pandemic, but what ever happened to saying hello.
Mr. Nabil Rabe, our sales consultant was polite, helpful, and made the buying experience pleasant. I have never bought a vehicle and been out the door with a new car so quickly! This team is very efficient and wont keep you waiting all day. Add to this the Demontrond Warranty Forever and its no wonder why this is the third car I purchase from them.
This was the worst experience myself and my family encountered. The worker we had was a BAD! Sales man and i do not recommend anyone to go to that dealership at anytime.
I brought a 2021 Kia Sorrento SX Prestige from this dealership. My experience was hands down the best. Our salesman, Dre, was very personal, thorough, and answered all of my questions. I was looking for a specific Kia and it was not in stock. Dre heard my needs and found the Kia I wanted. From ordering the vehicle to picking it up, Dre kept me informed and again answered all of my questions :). Once I got the car, he went over every detail of the car. I am in love it with it and cant thank Dre enough. I would also like to say that Shawn in the Finance department made the part that I hate the most such an ease. He was transparent and found us the best deal. When going over the paperwork, he explained all of the warranties and information in the paperwork in lingo that I understood. I highly recommend DeMontrond Kia and Dre to anyone looking for a car. This was the best experience I have had in a long time with purchasing a car.P and T. Duckens

Fabian was and is a great salesman, we were able to discuss everything and come to an agreement quite quickly (but I also knew exactly what I was looking for prior to coming for the most part). Had to come back the next day for the car but still great customer service and I feel comfortable reaching out at anytime for any questions/concerns.

I leased a 2020 Kia Niro EV from Fabian Murphy, and it was the best car dealership experience I have ever had. I live in San Antonio and the Kia dealers in my area are handcuffed by their auto group when it comes to negotiations and are willing to let cars rot on their lot. Demontrond was able to get me figures that had a lower monthly payment with $2000 less due at signing. I flew into Houston, and Fabian picked me up at the airport and by the time I got to the dealer my credit application was already taken care of and I just had to sign the agreements and it was an incredibly smooth process with no surprises. If you live in San Antonio it is well worth the short flight over to deal with Fabian and Demontrond.

Bought a used Ford Edge with low miles and they told me their were No issues, but that was a lie!!! Now Im paying over $2,500 for electrical work. The engine light came on the day after I bought it. The dealer said oh its just its just a sensor. My car still has the temp plates and Im footing out this bill! Insane
Filled out the online application for a lease a salesman responded to me in a email. He sent an application for me to fill out again. After filling it out again he asked if I had a trade in which is a question asked in the online app. He also wanted to know how much I was going to put down. When I informed him it was for a leases and the dealership had already ran my credit twice. Suddenly they had a buyer for the vehicle and he would get back to me later.Dealership scams haven’t changed.
Sales was polite and helpful, however not impressed with Demontrond service dept. They get 1 star.
I went here after Freddy Kia could not find a battery in all of Houston (according to them) to replace in my car under warranty in over a week. The service department was great. They took in my Sportage even though I didnt have an appointment and had in out in the time they said. After that horrible experience at Freddy Kias, I really appreciate the customer service I received here. Thank you!

The dealership is okay, its clean but they probably have pretty much the worst service department of any car dealership Ive ever gone to. I made an appointment to have my oil changed on a Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., at 10:30 they came and told me that my car hadnt even been taken back yet and that they ran out of oil filters. I wish I could take it somewhere else for service but then the warranty for life would be voided.
I’d give my overall experience here a solid D-, and that’s only because everyone was friendly but after reflecting on my day here, I call BS. I already had my reservations because I am a young woman, car shopping alone. I was almost persuaded into financing through Kia after letting my salesman know I was pre-approved through my bank. The catch was the $1,700 “consumer fee”, or something like that, would be waived (whatever that is). I seen the next morning my credit was pulled multiple times after I was assured it’d only be ran once. The whole process was drawn out due to mostly my salesman and the finance guy stepping out serval times for 15+ mins at a time, not even bothering to explain what was going on. After I decided I still wanted to go with my original financing, because the rate was better, they told me the check I brought, that I gave them and they had been holding onto for 45mins, couldn’t be accepted. Then, proceeded to try and convince me to finance with Kia. I ended up leaving because at that point, I felt myself getting angry and the only thing on my mind was leaving. Forget the car. Its unfortunate because I was going to buy the car, even with that bogus fee. Good thing I took my business elsewhere because the very next day I bought the exact same car, 30mile difference, for almost $2k less. With my own financing. No hassle. I was in and out in a hour.

Deal with Hassan (Sales Mgr) and Thomas (Salesman). I was shopping for a car and knew exactly what I wanted. after some miscommunication with some other staff. Hassan stepped in and made the process what I had wanted initially. He was up front and provided a good deal on the car I wanted. He had the car and paperwork ready when I arrived and Thomas was very helpful walking me through everything. All in all it was a pleasant buying experience.

Came to this location on the Kia side to look for a specific car I wanted online I was ready to purchase. I went inside no one greeted me, then came back out I saw 3 workers 2 were busy with customers & the one that was loose didn’t say a word. I still waited patiently while walking around the entire parking lot to find the suv I wanted but no one still tried to come help me. I then called inside, someone picked up I explained I was currently outside in the parking lot needing help, the guy said okay hung up in my face & I waited 10 minutes no one still never came out. I will never return to this place again.
Their service department takes FOREVER!Edit:I am updating my review to reflect Covid precautions. While masks are required in the state of Texas, Demontrond does not seem to adhere to that policy.While waiting for my oil to be changed, over half the employees that have walked by have either had their nose exposed, or had the mask pulled down around their chin. (At least 5 different employees, including the women at the front desk)While it is appreciated that they are open and servicing vehicles, they need to take the health of their consumers seriously. Especially when they have a warranty that makes you bring your vehicle in here.
The worst! I came here to purchase and compare between a Telluride LX and a Carnival LX. First lets talk Telluride, which had a sticker price of 36K, and as stated on THE DEALERS WEBSITE (not kias website), it says I should be paying a lease of 329/mo with 3,499 due at signing. But these guys just have the audacity to add 14000 MSRP to the sticker price, for something called an appliance fee. The guy was giving me a lease of 679 per month, with 5K down. For 20/mo more, I could get a Porsche. Sounds crazy enough. I looked up online while waiting for the manager at this stealership, and it stated Texas taxes, fees, license, and esc., which are all my responsibility, THAT I WILL PAY, should not be more than 2,500, yet they were interested in me paying over 3K? They are obviously very desperate. So Now, they hand me the Carnival lease papers. They want me to pay 7 grand down, JUST FOR A LEASE OF 520/MO! Keep in mind, I drove 1 hour and 20 minutes, from Katy to come here. I left this place with doubt on doubt, and I will never be returning to this dealer again. Later that night we went on to Fort Bend Kia, and they gave us a 319/mo deal AS LISTED ON THE KIA WEBSITE, for the Telluride LX. Cant believe what our economy has turned to. Dont come here, everything on their website is fake, and apparently they do not participate with Kias leases. Just call Kia Motor Finance and get your car built or shipped from a different state at the same rate.
I am very late with this post but I bought a 2020 Kia Forte GT for my 50th birthday. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had getting a car. I stated through email what I wanted and DeMontrond delivered. There was no back and forth and what they said I was approved for was it. I would definitely refer people here.
DeMontrond has Always been a great experience from all Departments, purchasing Vehicles or in Service as well as purchasing Parts. I have been going to DeMontrond for a few decades now as have some of our family/friends, who I recommended and all have had the same great experience.
This is the best dealership around. They go above and beyond to help you. I got my very first car here a year ago. A brand new 2019 Kia Rio. And me and my wife love it. The service department here is awesome 10 stars for them. Every time I bring the car in for maintenance they are so polite and nice. They explain everything to you. And go out of their way to help you with whatever it is you need. These employees in the service department here need to be recognized for their great awesome service. Thank you guys so much for being there for us.

Fabian, the salesrep, demonstrated knowledge of the Kia products and was a personable individual. Hasan - the sales manager - stated that it is customer service that sets Demontrond apart from other Kia dealerships. The good stops there. Fabian provided me with his phone number and stated he would respond to my questions. Great. Sounds good! I had completed my very first test drive and went home to revisit the trim levels and features offered by each (EX and SX). The next morning I texted Fabian with a couple of questions. Four days later and I have yet to receive any type of response from him. So much for the touted quality customer service. In my opinion and experience, good customer service starts at the very beginning of the sales process. Without this, a sales person is little more than an order-taker. Unfortunately, I actually needed a little help and a few answers before being able to submit an order.

Where do I begin? I was told that a car I asked about was available and ready. I did the financing and planned to pick the car up that evening. I asked for paperwork to be ready. It wasnt. I was there over 2 hours waiting for paperwork. Then the car wasnt even the same vehicle. It had 7K more miles on it. But I had already sold my other one, so I was going to let that go. I was told the contract would be emailed to me. It wasnt. I asked everyday for over a week. Called and left messages. Sent emails. No contract. I eventually had to drive over an hoir one way to the dealership to pick it up in person. They tried to say they had emailed it and it must not have gone through. If that was the case, why not tell me that? Why not offer to send it again? Or try a fdifferent email? Or fax it? Or mail it?I realized that they didnt give me my floor mats. They told me it was because the mats had been taken out to clean the vehicle and werent put back in. No big deal, that makes sense. Mistakes happen. They agree to mail them to me. Then when I ask about the contract again I was told that the paperwork comes with the plates, and youre the only one complaining about it even after we gave the floormats to you for free. Uh what? GAVE me the floor mats? The ones that go to the car I purchased?**Edited to add that as much as they want to claim that customer service is important, I immediately sent an email to the address listed in the response below with my contact inofrmation and I have yet to hear from anybody regarding my experience. Probably not even a manned email account.**
I bought a Kia Niro from Demontrond Kia in 2017. I have regularly taken it to its service department for maintenance and service. I took the car in last Tuesday for service and to check an engine warning light. On Thursday, the engine warning light returned. I took the car in that morning. I never heard back from the Service department despite calling them three times and leaving messages and sending two texts to the service number they provided. I came in first thing Monday morning to learn that they still had no idea what was wrong and that they were unwilling to provide a loaner. I will take my money for repairs and any new car purchase elsewhere.
I am very pleased with that I chose to purchase my new vehicle with DeMontrond KIA. My sales rep Carlos Gonzales is the best sales rep I have seen in costumer service, his attention to detail and asking and the right questions was top notch. Found was I was looking for as well.as the price range, this was just an over great experience. To included the insurance rep, finance rep and manager were all on there A game. Even though we are all experiencing a challenging time, everyone at DeMontrond KIA ensured the my wife I felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would like to say to Carlos G, thank you taking the time explaining the controls and features in depth of our new 2021 KIA Sportage SX Turbo. It made a big difference on feeling comfortable with all the new features the vehicle had. Safe safe and well!
I had a appointment at this place for 10:30am for only a oil change. Its 1:30pm and Im still here. The service guys presented me with a costly list that had nothing to do with my oil change. Their service fees are extremely high! Make sure you get your car serviced elsewhere and keep you service records.
Cant stress enough to avoid these guys. I leased a new 2020 Niro EV from them which was defective on the drive home. Had to call road side assistance before I even got it home. They refused to do anything about it and forced me to go through Kia customer service. As soon as you sign, they dont care.
Take a lunch and maybe dinner if youre getting more than an oil change. They tend to break items too in service dept..Broken fuse cover latch, cabin filter latch..etc.
My experience was awful. The salesman, Fabian was completely negligent and unprofessional from beginning to end. Entire process was 5 hours. Didnt get my car for 3 days and with 300 extra miles on the odometer. When writing out my contract, he read the odometer incorrectly (28 miles) and proceeded to write it on a contract which I signed. The car battery was dead so I was given a loaner. He and his friend drove it to me two days later without masks and they had food in my car. When I saw the odometer, the mileage read 300. I dont know much about cars but I know how to read an odometer. Not sure how a car salesmen would read that incorrectly. This showed me that not only did they not care about my safety (eating in my car without masks) they also dont respect me enough to have the decency to fix this. The contract is FALSE. Very unprofessional experience. Am I to take the word of my salesman that he and he friend didnt go on a 300 mile road trip? Awful service.

Not a good experience at all. Had negotiated the price prior to arrival. On arrival the price was now $900 higher and they charge you over $1,300 for customer service. What does that even mean
Great purchasing experience here. We arranged to look at the vehicle we found online after some back and forth via text/phone as we shopped various dealerships, and scheduled an appointment. Our salesman Miguel was there when we arrived, with the vehicle juiced up and ready to go. They were straight forward with the pricing sheet and total vehicle cost. Since we already had financing and had picked the vehicle, we were in and out in under 3 hours. Very happy with the car and their customer service.
My wife took her Kia in for an oil change. Tech came back and said that the upper radiator hose had a pin hole leak and needed to be replaced. We had never had any indication that there was any leak (no trail of antifreeze in the driveway, no puddles of antifreeze where parked, no antifreeze seen coming from the car). My wife was on the way home from the dealership and car overheated. Took it to a local mechanic who stated he believed the hose had been cut. I also believe that the hose was cut. Beware of using this shop for service.
Jesus Pineda was very polite and professional during a test drive of the KIA K900. Unfortunately, while the K900 was pleasant to drive, I didn’t feel connected with it. And his manager, Hassan Esfaoui was nice to talk with as well, and he was not pushy either. Jesus was familiar of the features. His non pushy demeanor will get me back to work with him on a 2021 Sorento.
I financed a car through them last month (was forced to to get a few thousand in savings) and they hit my credit report with 3 hard inquiries, and opened an account on my report with a balance well over what was agreed I would be paying, and it dropped my credit score 61 points on transunion and 21 points on equifax. Beyond unhappy!
Bought a 2020 Kia Sorento on January 23, 2021.After my initial vehicle purchase there was some trouble trying to get in contact with someone for the missing floor mats. However, though it took a little while, Kia reached out and helped to resolve the problem. Thank you Martin Carbajal.
Extremely nice and helpful when you are there in person but an absolute disaster when you try to do anything by phone. Never can talk to anybody, always get voicemail no matter what department you try and contact. Was unable to get through multiple tries in order to get an update on my vehicle from the service department. Ridiculous.
Horrible they destroyed the inside of my car and tried to blame me and they broke my emergency brake
My husband purchased a 2021 Kia Telluride from DeMontrond Kia the beginning of November. A few days after, we noticed a hole in one of the back seats. We tried numerous times to get on the phone with someone to see what we needed to do, left voicemails, sent emails to both sales people that helped him for about 2 weeks with no response. We finally got in touch with someone(on a Saturday) who assured us he was going to get with Service to see what needs to be done and would contact me on Monday. The following week no one reached out so I ended up texting him that Thursday. I was told he spoke to his service manager, who said it could not be reupholstered and was sending it off to Kia to order what needed to be ordered and it would take two weeks (this was Nov 19). Fast forward to December 10th, me and my husband texted with no response. My husband then got on the phone the next day and stayed on hold until someone actually got on the phone, he had to tell the girl he was not leaving another voicemail because they are never returned..was then told we needed to bring the car in so they can look at the hole. Apparently, nothing was ordered and didnt need to be ordered because after taking it in on December 21st..we then had an appointment the next Wednesday(today) to get it reupholstered. We were told to be there at 9 am and the guy would be there to fix it, shouldnt take more than 2 hours. Well apparently, they scheduled us wrong with the upholstery guy, even though we were told he comes in on Wednesdays only, and had us down for Tuesday (yesterday). So still waiting. The lack of communication, and the lies we have been told, I feel like we have already gotten the run around with this place and were only a month in on a lifetime warranty. Im not one to complain usually, but this to me is just bad service, especially from a business who benefits greatly from referrals. I work in the car insurance business and get asked all the time when people are looking for new vehicles if I know a good place to go..I know a place I wont tell them.
Their Consumer Service Fee of $995.00 is totally unreasonable.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY KIA! 2 years ago me and my husband bought our kia sorento 2016. And today it left us stranded on the freeway with our kids it just so happens kia has had a lot of problems with engines and they tend to fail around 60000 miles we were at 62000 for$ 22000 no way is 2 years worth that. AND OUR AC DIDNT COOL THE CAR IN 80 DEGREE WEATHER it would be warm air only worked when it was in the 70s KIA HAS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE ENGINE FAILURES THEY REFEWS TO RECALL!!! Here we are again!!!! ONLY 10000 miles put on new engine and it saying it is having problems we get the oil change on time KIA SAYS THEY CANT DO ANYTHING TILL OCTOBER!!! Don’t BUY IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE THE CAR EVEN TO THE GROCERY STORE!!!!!!!

Thanks to Casey in the Kia service department, we still have a very well maintained and beautiful minivan.Casey has always shown incredible professionalism and exceeded expectations when it comes to customer service. We have a bunch of kiddos and the vehicle gets its fair share of being pushed around! Casey has worked with us and has been very helpful through the years and she certainly deserves praise for that.Thanks Casey!
My husband and I walked in to talk to the finance department and Mr. Scott attended us first he mumbled something i didnt pay attention but my husband right way said he felt like a vibe like he didnt want to help us out since we were Hispanic. We didnt end up taking the truck we went for not only because we didnt come to an agreement but because we felt discriminated he didnt want to help us I guess he didnt want to sale you lost a customer my frien8d. I will highly recommend to go to a better dealer that will appreciate you as a customer and give you good service. I wont be coming back .
The service is usually good with a few exceptions when a certain representative is assisting me. I will be completing the customer service survey as fast as I can. I am currently researching other locations for my vehicle’s service needs. It only takes one time to show me that my business isn’t appreciated.
The service department thinks it’s efficient to have a 45 minute meeting during the middle of the day, with multiple customers waiting on their cars. In addition, they don’t take transfer warranties seriously, we bought a used Kia last Friday from a different dealership, their service sent us to Kia (we needed a part Kia was supposed to have). Kia insisted we weren’t covered for a loaner even though it’s on the warranty. I’m trying to get the dealership I bought the Optima from to communicate with Kia service. Hopefully, we can figure this out.
They always go above and beyond to help you, I brought In the old parts not even knowing what the parts we called and the guys looked at them and knew right away what they were ( I had been looking for these parts all over town ) great prices too!!!
I didnt purchased a vehicle yet but I am about to purchase one. I am looking for 3 row SUVs for my big family and I do know I am not an easy person to deal with as I do alot of questions and research before buying any vehicle so people easily get frustrated.I met this guy called Mario in Demontrond who helped me alot in explaining key features of both cars Atlas and kia telluride. This person is honest, knowledgeable and respects our time. If you ever visit Demontrond make sure to ask for Mario.👏🏻👏🏻 Texas dealerships need more people like Mario.
