I’ve always had a great experience with them! Ive been going there since they opened. I’ve referred my husband and mom as well! I recently purchased new frames About a month ago and after I left I was looking at them and the thickness didn’t look right to me. I messaged them and they looked at the pics and spoke to the lab (through my insurance who does them) and got them to make new ones with a different brand! They were so nice and quick to help and fix the issue. My lenses look so much better. I definitely recommend them!!

Both my father and I have come to the Hawk Eye Center for many years! We have gotten consistent, professional and kind service in all of those years. I have not gone anywhere else to get my eyes examined but here since we have gotten wonderful service and the location is very close to our home. The optometrists here are friendly and understanding and the staff are very helpful and kind. I am glad they are still requiring masks for individuals coming in the office since the pandemic is still ongoing. It goes to show, that this group truly cares for the health of the patients and especially the vulnerable. I don’t feel forced to wear a mask or that my rights are taken away as I am a part of protecting the community we live in at this part of Harris county. If you need a new optometrist and/or live around SE Houston, I highly recommend this place!

Ive been going to see Dr. Sean Lam for around 15 yrs. He changed my life with the perfect set of contact lenses back then, and still today, I believe hes the best optometrist Ive ever had. He always listens to your questions and concerns, hes kind, patient, and has the gift of explaining everything clearly. His staff is equally special and always take good care of you. Doctor was really professional with my exam, he answered all my questions. Staff was friendly and i did not have to wait to long to get checked in.

Went with my whole family to get eye exams (4of us) they ask for our insurance info when I called to make appointments. Everything was fine until it was time to pay. They never told me that insurance for my daughter wasn’t approved until a few days from the appointment date so I had to pay for it (it would be no payment if I had waited a few days) they didn’t tell me before the exam so I had to pay. I asked why they didn’t tell me before and all they could say was “I don’t know”. We’ve been going there for 3 years and now just for the receptionist not doing their job, they just lost 4 patients/costumers. We paid almost $400 might not be much for them so I guess they don’t care. They didn’t even try to work with me at all.

I’ve been a patient under Dr. Lam since I was 9 years old and now I am 21. I have not once been disappointed from coming to Hawk Eye Center. Dr. Lam takes his time in explaining the process of the eye exam and will answer any question you have. And for people who are worried in coming because of COVID, don’t, because this place takes sanitation seriously and even more during COVID.

I had an amazing experience today for my eye visit, The doctor informed me very well with details about my vision and taught me other things I didn’t know that can happen to your eyes! He is an excellent doctor. I also loved the staff! They are so friendly and helpful! Especially Miranda! The office is very clean! They clean every station before use! Definitely recommend everybody to come here!

Dr. Nguyen was the best eye doctor Ive ever seen. He was kind and patient, and and seemed to genuinely care about his work. I paid the $39.99 to have the more thorough scan performed on my eyes, and he took the time to carefully explain everything we were seeing in the results, using other photos as examples to teach me along the way. I will absolutely be returning in the future!

I just moved to the area and was VERY pleased with the service offered here. Dr Lam was very helpful and informative in helping me get contacts which I have struggled with getting to work in the past. The ladies at the front desk have great advice on frames, and I left very happy today!

Was told I would receive eyeglasses in one to two weeks. Now its going to be 3 weeks. The eyeglasses needed quickly as I have to take eye test for my TDL and tech was informed of this. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Had the worse experience with the oficie manager. The office manager called me acting like the doctor. I was never told that I had to pay for a product that the Isurance will not cover. Office manger is extremely rude and told me I couldn’t talk to the doctor.

It was my 6year old daughters first time getting her eyes checked and Hawk Eye Center was amazing with us. The ophthalmologist Dr.Sean Lam explained to us what he was doing through the process of the eye exam for my 6 year old daughter and my own exam as well. He has such good bed side manner and answered all my questions.The facility is very clean, neat & organized. They also have beautiful frames to choose from with Dr.Tom which is also very informative & very attentive with our eyeglasses needs. The Wait time to get seen was not long whatsoever. O’ and the office the staff, the girls are very nice. My daughters glasses got to us on time & my little girl loves them We got an extra spray and cloth which was a nice detail. I had an appointment schedule Friday afternoon and my day became free earlier so I called and asked if I could move my appointment time earlier and was able to be seen within 30 minutes of my call. When I arrived I was greeted right away by the friendly girls behind the desk up front and did not wait very long to be seen. After the doctor saw me for my exam I was helped by Sanny who was very professional! Her thoroughness helped me choose the right glasses and everything I needed. I understood what she explained to me as she went step by step and took her time as well as asked if she had rushed or if I had any other questions. She is a very friendly and patient employee. I will definitely be returning to Hawk Eye Center.

Dr. Lam is awesome. Myself and 4 children have been going to him for years. My kids glasses and my contacts. Will keep coming here. The staff is also very kind.

First, I would like to say don’t get their warranty program b/c as soon as you want to use they tell you a different story. They tell you that they have return all of the pieces to the vendor. Sometimes small children lose a part of their glasses because they are playing. And when you call to get an update on the arrival of your new glasses they are rude and don’t know anything. If the doc put in a request to expedite the order and u don’t know when it is getting back. Isn’t this something u find out when u put in that request. Trust, this will be the last time I do business here. Thank you, you have shown me my money and my business is not welcomed here at your facility.

Good: facility is very nice, convenient, good parking, front office staff friendlyBad: I have a medical condition that affects my vision which I disclosed on medical history paperwork, female doc did not read the paper work before she examined my eyes! Also, she repeatedly insisted I needed a specific prescription based on my age not medically necessity. She later, almost as a last argument for her opinion, gave me a medically necessary reason for the prescription. I found her attitude condescending.Quality off frames: not the highest quality Ive ever had, also not the lowest. IMO they are overpriced. Ive paid less for higher quality other places. Also, for my sunglasses I was given one option for tinting level - I like my lenses very dark but that is not an option here. You get what you get.I will not return or recommend this facility.

I have been coming to Hawkins Eye Center for three years now and their service is consistently superior each time. The doctors take their time to answer any questions you may have. The office staff goes out of their way to please a day made my business their top priority. I have moved and still make the drive to go to this location.
