1st time in store. Awesome service. Very helpful when my part wasnt available, rep wrote down part number for me to keep as a reference when trying to locate. Very friendly staff. Knocked off 1 star due to only carrying K&N brand air filter. Just wanted basic temporary air filter for now.

Man, Melissa and Lonnie, got me hooked up on a full race suit they were very educated on what gear I needed to go down the track. And thank God for Melissa she helped me in and out of the suit twice! It really takes some muscle to squeeze into full race suits. Definitely need her on my pit crew:)

For this specific location (Gulf Freeway), 5 stars all day long! They helped me fully understand bar bends and helped me ultimately pick out a set. Originally just went for the Kriega us30 dry bag (which is amazing on my FZ09!), but with their vast knowledge and friendliness I was able to further my bike investment as to customization. Help in picking out a new helmet was a nice bonus too. It is nearly an hour drive from me as opposed to the Greenspoint location but due to the quality customer service, 110% worth it!

Had a front Avon sourced by the Gulf Freeway store in Houston. Said it would take 3-4 days and arrived the next day. Installation was less than an hour and done correctly. Very happy customer.

Good selection of gear to choose from and staff is great, except one member. Once I walked in I asked if they had a couple things in particular and was told one of those items doesnt exist. (Which Im positive does: a blue mirror helmet visor for the Alliance GT) and then we had asked if we could use a certication WITH our names on them for a discount, we were told we needed some kind of red paper? And then we were told we had to sign up online for it. Mind you, the course we took (Awesome Riding BRC) assured us we were allowed to use it. Extremely unclear.

Great store with a great selection of just about anything accessory wise you could need. They even do tires here. Had them hold a sena set for me overnight no problem and the clerk knew enough about the other brands to help me decide for sure before a purchase. I could probably spend a whole paycheck here

I dont usually like to leave bad reviews but my visit there was horrible. I was greeted by one employee when I walked in and no 1 ever said another word to me the whole 15 minutes that I was there. I asked the 2nd employee a question about some helmets and all I got was a rude and UNfriendly answer. Never did he once asked me if I needed help or even offer any type of assistance other than saying whats there is all I got.I wont EVER go there again.

The guys here are always helpful. I do enjoy coming here but wish they carried more womens gear and not just pink gear! I ordered jackets online and each time had to return them to the store. I called a different company they took my measurements, suggested a few. I purchased one and it was a perfect fit. If CG would have done that the first time I would have got it from them.

Came here two weeks ago to purchase a helmet. Lonnie was super helpful had an amazing experience here. Ended up leaving with the exact helmet I came in to get and a pair of gauntlet style gloves for winter. Will definitely be back!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the Franky that some reviewers mention. He offered up their sale flyer and helped me find the boots they had listed, tucked in a corner. They were pretty friendly, some casual chatting about what I rode and such. But pretty much found what I needed on my own.There were only 2 people working yesterday, but I feel they could have checked on me while trying boots on even though I may not have used them.Nothing inherently negative with my experience though.

5-star sales & service! Franky knows his stuff. I was looking for a mesh jacket, and Franky recommended a snug fit. I am glad I went with his suggestion. I also bought a Sena headset there, and Franky installed it. They have a huge selection of helmets, and a fairly good range of other gear. I got some riding jeans and shoes there, and their prices are comparable to online vendors. However, the selection of bike accessories is limited, which is understandable since most bike parts are model-specific.

This store just reopened from being flooded during Harvey. It is like a whole new store and it looks awesome! New products everywhere! So excited!

Just had my wheels powder coated and took my new tires and fresh powder coated wheels to have the tires mounted. The sales people there were more interested in insulting me then mounting my tires correctly. So I paid 108. For the work and my tire is on my rim backwards. Now I have to have it removed and reinstalled....

I purchased a SENA headset over the internet and was delivered the wrong one. CS told me to just take it to the nearest store for exchange. Slightly miffed, I did....and was glad I did. Great staff, knowledgeable, helpful, exchanged my headsets and got a slight upgrade that I think will serve me better. AND theyre going to install it in my helmet for free. Fully stocked store, neat and clean, all the riding gear and accessories I could need plus more. I was impressed.

This review starts with a phone call following a flat tire on the freeway. The staff at this store knows little to nothing about the tires they stock. Only one employee could even answer questions regarding tires and they were uninformed. The other employee simply told me no one could answer questions until Franky came back in 20 minutes and assured me Franky would call upon return. After several calls over the next 3 hours Franky finally answered having never called me back. He finally located a warranty replacement tire that would take nearly a week to get in but since CycleGear stores do not share information, I had to call the Baton Rouge store where I purchased the tire. The manager there was very knowledgeable and helpful and knew that the Michelin Road 2 has been replaced with the Road 3 and could be gotten easier and the warranty would still cover as long as I paid any price differential...which the Road 3 is actually cheaper than the Road 2. It could also be gotten 2 days sooner. After another 3 hours of trying to get hold of Franky, I finally got him and got the new tire ordered. I show up Tuesday and am ignored for 15 minutes standing at the counter with a wheel and tire. The tire is not there and neither is Franky so I am informed that the tire would be mounted no later than 2pm. I get back at 4 pm and the wheel is silk where I left it having not been touched. I was promptly ignored for 10 minutes while Franky spoke to someone on the phone about tread depth for my old tire. After finally speaking to me and figuring out I was waiting on my tire, he went to mount and balance the tire which seems to have actually been done fairly well.

The sales guy was polite and helpful I bought some rain gear I needed I bought a 2xl in the jacket and a xl in the elastic pants. I was disappointed to find out they dont sell Suzuki apparel, no hats or anything Suzuki.

The guys always have what i need. We make it a point to take a weekly trip to the store.

Super helpful every time

The store is awesome the service sucks. I walked in 3 employees were standing there looking at me only one says welcome to cycle gear. I walked to get chain lube. They didnt have my regular can. The iran guy ( I dont know his name) Walks over acting like he is stocking. And says need help? I asked which lube is better. He just says its your preference. And walks off??? I go the the counter ready to check out. The cashier looks me in the eyes and walks off. I stood there 4 mins while he plays with the other guy behind the counter . Then says you want to check him out? Or you want me to do it. I was 1 sec from walking away but I drove pretty far to get the lube. He didnt say thank you or gave me a bag I just grabbed the can and walked out. Not as friendly place without melissa or Lonny. I will not be returning to the store ever again

Most of their gear is more for the sportier look, which isnt a bad thing. The wife could not find a jacket she liked there, the selection of womens jackets was a bit sparse. I did find one, however; a Bilt mesh for almost 50% off!
