Would of been a great supplier but the look of what are you doing in here when my husband and I entered spoke volumes. Very unfriendly environment. I stated what I was looking for and needed to actually purchase 200 or more boxes, pointed at the boxes and the response I received was ok and he walked off. Never Again. I will continue to source oversees online.

It was a bit of a struggle finding this place with google maps: the route directs you to the apartment complex behind the store for some reason instead of the store itself (as of 12/17/2019). As I arrived less than 30 minutes before closing and wasnt sure of the exact dimensions of the boxes I needed I was afraid I would get some pushback from the employees but they were both knowledgeable and very helpful. Within a minute I had everything I needed and was treated very well. The prices were also very reasonable. Will absolutely be using Anchor Box in the future for any container needs!

Cheapest prices in the whole city. Customer service is top notch, they will search their entire warehouse to find you the right sized box. Unlike other stores that make you buy a minimum, they dont do that here! If you only need 1 or 2 boxes, they will sell them to you. Wish I lived closer to this store.

I came here for over 18 months when I owned a comic book company and I loved the service and experience. Jessie is incredibly helpful and respectful, as is his wife. I really liked doing business with them as they would always help with large orders in advance and always had a smile on their faces.

I spent thousands of dollars here and ordered pallets of boxes. One of them was damaged and when I told the owner, he told me it was my fault and I must have gotten them wet. They were delivered in my warehouse wrapped in cellophane. It was the most unreal customer service experience I have ever had. So disrespectful and rude & I will NEVER buy here again. Southwest Corrugated now gets our business and their boxes and bubble wrap are almost half the price. Better price and way better customer service. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

They got my order wrong, and then wouldnt exchange it. I was told it was my fault. I will buy directly from the manufacturer from now on, and I will definitely send my clients elsewhere to get products.

I order what Anchor calls Stock Boxes. On my last two orders they were out of both. When I went to pick up my order today, they were again out of stock on 1/2 my order. To boot the person at the desk was very rude (made faces at me) as was the gentleman who was getting the supplies.As a side note, I parked in front of the storefront and when I came out, Anchor has built a wall of supplies around my truck such that I could not open my doors on the passenger side, nor the lift-gate on my truck.To add insult to injury, 30 minutes after I left the owner called and said they did have some of the boxes in stock did I want to pick them up. I said no, not really, dont want to waste another hour. His response was wow are we in a foul mood. I said what do you expect when you never have stock, never tell me you are out and then your entire team is unpleasant. It went downhill from there ... the owner got truly nasty.Anchor used to have two location, very easy to see why they had to close one of them.I would rather pay Uline twice as much to deliver to me than do business with this people.Buyer beware!!!!

Anchor Box has been my go-to seller for 20 years. Good selection, good pricing for small shippers. You can buy on demand without stocking a large inventory. I usually go to the S. Gessner location since they closed Dairy Ashford / I-10 years ago. The staff there are always helpful and friendly and they know the products.

Superb customer service by one black gentleman, wish i remember his name. He went above and beyond to fulfill my needs. One young white kid, looked like a boss wasnt friendly or professional at all towards customers. My location was Gessner /west park. Houston TX. 12/12/17. 3:00pm .

I have been using Anchor Box for at least 15 years. The only issue I have is that they closed my location on Chimney Rock and now I have to drive all the way to Harwin and Gessner to purchase moving supplies. But the staff at this location is very very nice and very helpful.

The staff at the Gessner location are very knowledgeable and friendly. I miss their store on Chimney Rock but at least, those employees are now working at the above location.The last time I visited, I came in with the dimensions of the items I needed to ship, but needed help in determining the size of the shipping container. I left that day with everything I needed to ship what turned out to be a 70 pound box of frozen food.These guys are awesome!

Negative, been coming here for 6 years, never returned anything till now. Company either has a deceptive return policy or too cheap to print up new invoices.Nowhere on the receipt does it say no refunds, however its CLEARLY printed on the bottom of theReceipt that All claims and RETURNED goods MUST be accompanied by this bill. Bad business policy for such a large company. Buyers be aware of the NO return policy. The past three times I came here, prices they charge didnt match their online prices. DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES.

Bad place To buy, we buy a lot at one time like several hundreds boxes, but the cashier told us move the table to other place to check the size you want, I am going to Help next customer! Well, we are discussing which one we need, as we are not buying 1! He doesn’t want to give us anytime to check the box, so we ended up to buy, usually we buy from other box company, but this time we just think it is closer to the place we are going. Be aware! Great prices on bubble wrap and boxes

My sons apartment complex was under 3 feet of water for two weeks after Hurricane Harvey. The complex was evicting the entire property so they could perform the clean up and build back.We needed lots of boxes and financially we had all been hot hard by the damage from Harvey. Boxes are necessary but EXPENSIVE!The first batch of boxes we purchased were from the local U-Haul and we didnt buy enough because of the high prices. I was ticked off because some of them were factory rejects that were sold at premium prices and I had to reinforce them with tape.On my 2nd foray for boxes I researched online and found ANCHOR BOX COMPANY on Gessner in Houston TX. I read the reviews and was satisfied that it was a reputable company.I wasnt prepared for the quality of service or the genuine care and concern the employees have for their customers.Needless to say at this stage of the game I was overwhelmed by all the loss and work that we were facing. My thinking was on auto pilot and I really want able to make informed decisions.The two elderly men who waited on us were charming and helpful. When I placed 2 rolls of bubble wrap on the counter, my new Box friend told me to come with him, he was going to give me a math lesson. We walked over to a huge roll of bubble wrap that was the equivalent of 3 rolls. He pointed out the first of each small roll that I had chosen and then showed me the price of the humongous roll of bubble wrap. That one big roll was a couple of dollars more than both of the small rolls combined. He saved me $11.00!The wonderful man who was helping my son pick out dish boxes showed him how to economize by purchasing medium sized boxes and the foldable partition inserts for glasses that fit within. We saved another $15.00.Tomorrow I have to go buy a couple more art & mirror boxes and I will drive the extra 10 miles to do business with my honest, caring friends at ANCHOR!

If you need a box, go to Anchor box. Its quite that simple. I heard the manager once say, they have every kind of box except for hat boxes because theres a hat store down the street. Ive used Anchor box often for work, for mailing packages that were a specific size and had to look nice. You can order online (their website is ugly, but works) and pick it up in store. If you order $10 or more, you get free tape. The service is usually pretty great - theyve helped me to my car many times.Only once was I disappointed in Anchor Box... I need a bunch of bubblewrap for a Halloween costume (Sharknado, if you must know) and Anchor Box had some of all heights for a great price. I ordered it online and went to pick it up and it was a deep blue. A Sharknado isnt deep blue! I complained that the website showed clear bubblewrap and the person working shrugged. He said you cant find clear bubblewrap anymore. Since it was Halloween Eve, I took it. I went down the street to another store and bought a bunch of clear bubblewrap.

They wont let you look at the products. They might have had everything I needed, but I dont know because I couldnt go back and look down a 20 ft aisle.
