Service guy was having a tough day, I was the first to arrive at 8 (opening). The young lady that rang me up was extremely pleasant. Service was performed quickly, professionally, and at a decent price point.

Good place to get your yearly NC inspections done without hassle. They are good at giving you an assessment on lots of issues.I’m satisfied with their pricing. I’ve even driven cars of my in laws, neighbors and friends in to have the full service oil change ... just to get out of the house!

Awesome! Accepted my car for inspection late before closing, young lady at front desk was professional, courtesy, super nice. Inspector was great had papers on dashboard of car and explained that the dmv receives copy but had wait 2 hours or more.

Be very careful when going to this location. there is definitely a RISK of significant loss / damage in taking your car there. I will NEVER use them again..And to elaborate, was told by 2 mechanics, they did NOT fill the engine with Oil as required...My daughters car was ruined due to their lack of attention and proper care of the car, went in for an oil change, left thinking it was completed properly, just as her next oil change was coming due she noticed major issues with the car, stuttering at the start.. With that said, brought it to 2 mechanics and was told that there was very little to NO oil in the car.. no oil leaks, and the mechanic stated that it would NOT burn oil that quick.. car is hardly driven at all.. None the less, the owner says its her responsibility to check the oil? so we cannot trust a company with this service of oil change every standard 3-5k miles? It is the customers responsibility to make sure you do your job correctly? and sorry, a receipt does NOT prove anything other than i paid for a faulty service.. this goes to show what this business has to offer, BEWARE of bringing your car here.. this business is NOT to be trusted.

First time visit. The gentleman who worked with me that day was friendly and knowledgeable, and service was very prompt. I feel like the pricing was pretty fair too. I went home immediately afterwards, and parked the car in my driveway until work the next morning. Big oil spot in our driveway was there the next morning. My husband knows cars and was able to get under the vehicle to tighten things up. Had he been out of town, this wouldve been a more stressful situation! Ill probably try them again???

I have come to this location a few times and everytime the i have been very disappointed with the customer service. The manager has always been very rude and disrespectful. One ocation i have talked to the owner Paul to get there deal that they have on Wednesday to get 10 off an oil change, but do to me working at the bp next door I wasnt able to come in and Paul told me to come in and tell the manager to approve the discount. All I had to do was tell manager that the Paul the OWNER said that I could come in the next day and still get the discount. Well the manager didnt like that and didnt even double check with him when he was working just inside. Im sad to say but they will be loseing my business

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION, they lost my business.Ive been going to the service station for 5 years, and I would give them 2.5 stars if I could. They are fast and a little pricey, but things come with a trade off. The previous issue that I had was that I arrived 12 minutes before they closed. I was refused service because everyone had gone home and the last guy was locking up. I can understand this, but it still left a bad taste.Most recent issue, this is what I would have expected if it were run well, and they wouldnt have lost my business.1. I pull up2. Employee asks what I want and if I have a manual transmission3. I leave after 3 or 4 minutes because an employee must pull the vehicle into the service bay, and none of the 5 employees could drive a manual transmission. This is an insurance issue, which I totally get.What happened:1. I pull in and was told it would be 40 -60 minutes in and out, and I agree.2. The employee(s) told me there was another car before me, and I had to play musical cars on two occasions because nobody could drive manual.3. I finally go to move my car to be serviced after 40 minutes of waiting and was told no because an employee must pull the car in. She explained thats what happened to the guy before me, which frustrated me even more.They allowed me and the gentleman before me to wait, probably an hour for him, before they refused service. I wasted my lunch hour, the ability to go somewhere else, and my time, which is important to me. These two things, one minor and one major, will cause them to lose my business. The gentleman before me will probably not come back either.

Have been going to this place for years, both cars for state inspection. And always happy with the service and speed. Came today NOT ONE person inside the office wearing masks and NO clue how to social distance! Unfortunately we won’t be back for car #2 this year!

Its sad how one person can completely change how you feel about a place. The individual that drives a manual here is extremely rude and disrespectful to vehicles. Opens doors roughly into bushes, snaps the door handles, drops the hood to the point my hood didnt even close.

This is the only place I trust to work on my car. The staff is really nice and they never try to uosell me on junk I dont need. They also left a flower on my dashboard on my last visit.

I sent my son to get his yearly inspection. This place (new owners) charged him$127 for a purge solenoid and then $127 to install it. This typically costs $50-$80 to install. This new owner took advantage and lost a long time customer. SO DISAPPOINTED!!

Went for a routine oil change on a Wednesday afternoon. Service was quick, staff was friendly and you got to watch everything they were doing from a screen you could watch from your driver seat! I was in and out within 20 minutes. This is the way it should be!

I am new to NC. I gave brought my car in twice for full service oil change. This should include topping off all fluids. Has not been done either time.

In and out very quickly for an NC inspection. They didnt try and up sell me on anything and were very friendly.

Do not give them your e-mail. I used a fake name, and get 15 spam emails a day under said fake name.Edit: The email is still being sent spam. 50 unsubscribes, still being hammered. WORST GARAGE EVER. It shows what kind of company you are.

Staff are always courteous, polite, and professional. For the most part I am always in and out within 10 to 15 minutes. I have never had to wait for very long. They do oil changes in status section and her and convenient location.

Always a great experience! Regularly come here for oil changes and state inspections. Always fast service and everyone is very friendly. They will advise you of anything else your vehicle needs but do not pressure you into buying. They also will recommend whats best for your vehicle, even if it is not an upcharge. Most places just force you into the most expensive thing they have. Not here. Highly recommend.

I have always taken my vehicles to this Grease Monkey for oil changes and service. Today, I took my vehicle in for an inspection. Everything passed except the windshield wipers, which I just had replaced two months ago, and they were operating fine. (We drove there in the rain.) They did offer to sell me a new pair for $37. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Grease Monkey for any service.

I went in today for an oil change because my dashboard indicator light was on. The guy who worked there came to me and said that according to the sticker in my window I had a lot more miles to go before it actually needed to be changed. He then asked me if I still wanted to go ahead and get the oil changed. I said no and thank you and he said hed like to just check the level to make sure its okay. He said it was. I then told him that the low tire pressure indicator was on and he said that he would check my tires and fill them if they needed it. He did end up putting air in the tires. He then came back to me, handed my keys and said have a nice day. I assured him I would be back for my oil change. Its nice to know that there are honest and generous people working at this Grease Monkey. I will tell all my friends.

I FINALLY found a place to bring my Fiat that didnt look at it like a spaceship just landed! I struggle to find anywhere to have it serviced except for the dealership that is an hour away on a good traffic day. It needed inspected and a tune up and 5 places turned me away because they couldnt do it or couldnt determine why my check engine light was on. Not only did Grease Monkey promptly find the issue they went above and beyond to get the needed parts and work with my hectic schedule to fix it!!! If I could give them 100 stars I would!! I can not express my thanks enough! Definitely a customer for life! Thank you!!

Two strikes against this place and I won’t give them an opportunity for strike 3. One time I had my oil changed there and they failed to tighten the drain plug. Oil kept leaking on my garage floor. I had to tighten it myself.Second I took my car to be inspected. Their computer kept saying my car was not ready to evaluate the emissions computer and sensors. I had replaced the catalytic converter and an O2 sensor drove it for 350 miles with no check engine light, took it back to this place and their computer said my car was still not ready and to be evaluated. They said drive it more and bring it back. I did. I drove it to another place and it passed with flying colors.Won’t go back ever.The owner said we had to meet the normal drive cycle set by the state. I would respond to that, after 350 miles, we met the normal driving cycle well before we brought the car in. I saw another review that the OBD computer was not working. So perhaps there is an issue with this locations computer. I drove 5 miles to another place and it passed without any issue. The normal drive cycle was met after 100 miles. We drove it another 250 and their computer still said it wasn’t ready. I call bull on that. So my suggestion is to get your computer checked

Great, honest service. Came in for an oil change and after inspecting the oil they decided I could go another couple months before needing one. Topped up my tire pressure while they were at it. Appreciate the honesty.

Ive been here several times for various issues that come up in addition to basic oil changes. I love it because Im not bombarded with scare tactics. They take time to explain any issues and I would recommend that you give them a chance.

Good place to change oil and minor stuff

I took my Mercedes E-350 for a quick oil change before heading to beach. Ive owned car 6 years never any oil leaks, they charge $112 for oil change for Mobile 1. I get to beach, next morning 2 half dollar size oil drips under car. Cleaned up, next morning same thing. Taking car to my regular mechanic I trust. The Monkeys at Grease Monkey will never touch a vehicle I own again. BEWARE.

Went there today to get an inspection. Decided to get an oil change at the same time. 45 minutes later the oil change is done and they tell me there inspection computer is down and theyve basically know this for days. Now Im at another place to get an inspection.
